White Iris

I get a mix of sweet and tart fruits (e.g. peach, blackberry, melon etc) on a super clean and divine creamy/powdery base. Very pleasantly surprised by this unassuming fragrance overall.

Floral, Fruity, Gourmand.... Crazy verticality of the citruses on top notes, crazy long lastingness: 10/10!!!!!

this is so stunning. I love iris scents (authentic sweet and heady purple iris) but I was hesitant to try this due to the reviews down below calling it “grandma”. DON’T let that keep you from trying this beautiful work of art! instantly upon first spray you get this creamy almond slightly lemony bubblegum, kinda reminiscent of my way Armani line but not so tuberose heavy. when it settles, the amaretto really comes out. I think the mix of bergamot + almond always read “older woman perfume” to people but this is more like a citrusy fun light gourmand with just a hint of classic sophistication. my only complaint is it’s very much lacking on the iris aspect 🥲 after it settles you can smell a faint vegetal orris, kind of lipstick wax note but not what you would expect from a fragrance called white iris. It’s still so beautiful though and this is so perfect for spring!! when I smell this, I think of Natalie Wood with big sunglasses in a silk Hermes hair scarf having drinks at the chateau marmont in the spring. specifically late 70s. gorgeous

The almond is glorious, and it makes this unique. It’s well blended, so it’s like a fruity mixed floral almond elixir. To address the grandma rumors, yes this is what a confident woman from the 80s would wear if she time travelled to now. But in my mind, it smells contemporary enough to pass as modern. A lemony white floral is not controversial. If you’re hearing people say this is “grandma,” they are reacting to the almond. You can make up your own mind whether that’s a good or bad thing. 8/10
