Cologne Céleste

Probably the freshiest BK so far. At first I thought Profumum Roma Acqua Viva but this is more complex and deep. This feels similar to Acqua Viva, photorealistic notes from the cotruses. But probably a bit closer to a BOKA Zelen. Yes these two are more similar! The beeswax which I love in perfume makes this really good with the piney, mossy, woody drydown.

Favorite of the three colognes. Well done. I like all three but this takes the spotlight.

Highly underated - If you like citrus and oakmoss this is top of the food chain.

🍋 Opens up a bomb of citron and litsea, with a heavy dose of green, earthy, leather esq oakmoss. I get what I perceive as some tobacco leaf, and also pine in the base. I don't detect any transitions, so I judge it as linear. Because of the high oakmoss content, it has a vintage feel. Beeswax does not appear for at least an hour to soften it up..For that reason, this will not appeal (at least initially) to new, inexperienced, or wimp noses. I think you need to be of a certain character, confidence, and experience, to appreciate and pull this one off. I don't consider it challenging, but my friends that are used to used to designer citrus fragrances, RUN from this stuff. Citron is the shotcaller of all citruses and some won't like pungent nature. Also, If you don't like oakmoss, you can safely skip this one. Smells natural and also substantial for a cologne "extrait" whatever the hell that means. My bottle smells strong like bull for the first couple hours. Overall a good offering for afficionados. It's pungent and bit brash initially, before calming down and purring. Scent 7.5/10 Overall Performance 7.5/10 P.S. Very similar to Bond No 9 Dubai Citrine but more gruff and potent

This is happiness in a bottle! The medley of citruses gives a smiling punch in the beginning. Soon the rose and honey begins to enter the mix, but doesn’t overpower the yellow citrus. The sweeter, Blood orange and mandarin makes an appearance, melding with the honey. The pine note sits nicely in the background, providing an anchor. This smells like lemon/orange-ade sitting pretty in the sun.

solid but not spectacular, work safe, bright and fresh, lots of grapefruit and citrus

Light piney aromatic chypre disguised as a cologne meant to evoke the more celestial aspects of nature. The scent opens with a flurry of citrus notes and transitions to a brief heart of mostly rose, citrus and beeswax. It settles very soon into a powdery bed of oakmoss, pine, cedar and slight sandalwood. Overall the slight masculine leaning scent has moderate sillage and longevity and has an easygoing feel to it. It is slight but interesting. Enjoy!

Before I sprayed it anywhere, I got honey and lemon just from the sprayer. Almost like honey-lemon candies, but more refined. Initial spray was a burst of citrus. That citrusy blast is always welcome and hits the happiness chords in my brain. About 30 minutes laster, I still get lots of citrus, but it almost has this "endust" accent. For citrus to stick around that long is pretty surprising. I am not so sure about the "endust". Hope the other notes will make an appearance. Shall up date a bit.. Update. This does last on me. Near the end I get a bit of something green and bitter. I never got any roses. The lemon and waxy honey stays with me a long time. It almost reminds me of Lunden's honey-lemon cough drops. Though this is a citrus that does not really fade away on me. To me this feels like summer.

Had to try bortnikoffs new colognes. I knew i wouldn't want full bottles as colognes are a bit boring, but this is the best of the 3, very sharp, acidic, fresh and not cloying/fabric softener/cheap boiled sweet. Quite classy but i dont want to smell it for hours on end, i might buy it if it was a 50eur for 50ml kinda deal, you can keep the horrid packaging that comes in 3 layers bortnikoff, it doesnt make me feel happy or as rich as roja dove i just want the fragrance in plain/brown/blue glass, 20c worth of glass and 10c worth of a sprayer

@thenorth , I assume the parfume has concentration of oils equal to the extrait standard, that promisses great strength and longevity. But the smell progile is based on the cologne structure and is clear and refreshing. Cant wait to put my nose on these new releases

Candied citrus with a pine backbone. Nothing wow and the best from that collection. The perfumer has way better work. IG: eatandsmellgood
