En Route

Prominent notes are pineapple, bergamot, and ambergris. Definitely a Creed Aventus version or rather an improved version. But a version that belonged in the upper ranking, if not the top of the list. I have 10 bottles of CA variants and this is purchase number 11. I like this better than CDNIM because it's less synthetic in opening, and even has better longevity than my number one favorite version the smokiest pineapple of them all, Black Gold by White Oud. It's like an intense, long lasting version of Vibrant Leather EDP by Zara. With Montblanc Explorer's super weak drydown and zero longevity on the other hand, MBE is no match against this scent. En Route Artisan EDP is one of the best in longevity and drydown of all the CA variants. The drydown sometimes reaches a gourmand-herbal scent that is so much better than L'Aventure. So far a great perfume. Glad to discover this in my favorite shop in Dubai. In this shop I tried testing 2 sprays of original Aventus to my left hand and one spray of this scent on my left arm. Guess what, En Route stayed longer than Aventus! I don't recommend you to blind buy this because it's better to try testing this scent if you have the chance. I want you to experience this scent firsthand before making any decisions. You will be surprised. Perfume made in Spain. Batch / Lot # 012018 8.5/10

I agree with MacGuffin. The scent is well rounded, masculin with moderate projection and sillage. There is hint of smokiness but mainly a blast of pineapple with pink pepper. It settles to base (dry down) after 15 minutes with ambergris and jasmine in the mix, the pineapple never lets go though. This is Office Safe, casual, dressed up or otherwise. The price is right. Best substitute for Creed's Aventus whose fan I'm not.

Great perfume indeed close to aventus but for the price point is amazing

Moderate projection, then it sits close to your skin after 1 hr. After 2, skin scent. Good longevity, above 5hrs. You already knew this is a clone of CA, so... Scent is ok, but not a good choice if you already have club de nuit intense men, the parfum limited edition, even though it's better than the original cdnim (edt ver), still not worth it for average users in my opinion. While this scent has the quality itself; soft, elegant and smoother than those above, if you want to complete the collection, then go for it. If you don't have any above, then go for it. For me, no more from this brand. Shomal is a better choice, but has synthetic opening, so you will need some patience. However, we can experience a perfect packaging, so its a good idea to gift your friends/family (whose not into frags game).

Not a bad smell, has a kind of Aventus style dna. Opens up citrusy/pineapple, dries down to a fresh, woody/spicy oakmoss scent, nothing wow to be honest. Longevity and projection aren't good, max 4hours.

This is an aventus style fragrance. It however reminds me of Amber by Laboratory Parfums mainly because of its flatness. It's average on all fronts me.

this is very nice indeed, and to my nose not that similar to aventus: it is soft, dry-ambery, yes, it has pineapple and lots of (soft) patchouli, and while it's not mentioned i do smell carrot (or orris?), giving it a mild, vegetal feel. there is nothing at all harsh or rough, it sits close to the skin and is really lovely and comfortable. a find. addendum 2 hours later: alas, if it only stayed where it started. but it doesn't. on my skin it becomes something most resembling licorice. addendum 2: and after another 2 hours it's a faint whiff of patchouli. actually ... nice.

I’m willing to do an exchange with this fragrance. Only 3 sprays used. Long story short, I sampled this fragrance among others and confused this with another scent (hence the 3 sprays to confirm). If anyone is interested, feel free to message me. Side note: This is a wonderful fragrance! An aventus/explorer type of DNA but a bit sweeter with great performance. Since I already have colognes with a similar scent profile, I’m willing to exchange for something a bit different.

The aromas that you smell on the road, the memory of the journey, of a past journey, which becomes pleasant and brings a smile. En Route is this: a lively and fruity fragrance at the opening, which then becomes more important with jasmine and leather. Pleasant, intimate and light, like going back in your mind thinking of happy times.
