Needs some time to settle for the alcohol to wear off - even when sprayed in the air and having it sink down on the skin. Then there is this creamy light-wooded base with some pepper on top, as well as a few other spices that I cannot clearly pick apart - rosemary maybe, and also a hint of cumin. Nonetheless, what prevails is the creamy sandalwood, softened to the max without any harshness. Becomes more pleasant the more it matures on the skin. A good release! As delicate and gentle as all the other Botanicae fragrances. Unisex while more suitable for men, in my opinion. Can be worn day and night, ideally when coming out of winter and entering into spring. Once again, a solid scent with good intensity but remaining understated. Probably also good for base layering, probably in combination with something flashy and attention-seeking on top.

I loved it immediately in the store. It reminded me of a softer/more sandalwood-ish version of Guidance. It is admittedly an eau de toilette, but I wish longevity and sillage were just a bit stronger. I don't smell it as much after already 1 hour.
