InFlora

This is very, very similar to Stella, but a more sophisticated, polished version. It has the same sweet, fruity Bulgarian rose blended with juicy orange. There are a few differences though. There is no peony here as there is in Stella, and the freesia is adding a little lift and sparkle to this composition, which is tempered from being sharp by the musk. The barely perceptible Lily of the Valley gives just a touch of aquatic freshness keeping the fragrance from being flat or too sweet. It isn't as strong and as projecting as Stella, but to me that works in its favor. I love Stella and have it in both the eau de parfum and eau de toilette, but it is a big fragrance. Sometimes you don't want to shout. This is nice for those times when you don't. As to this brand, I cannot rave about it, or the perfumer, Maurizio Lembo, enough. I have three different fragrances that he created, and despite having another rose fragrance from this house (Rose Poudre), they are as different as different can get, and both wonderful to me. If I had to pick just 3 favorite perfumers, he would make that list.

Refined and light and so easy to wear. Perfect for a satin dress and a night out, but just as easily worn at the office. Can't go wrong with this one.

A pretty tangerine musky rose w/ a bit of added freesia. This is very musky which I like very much but I own a fragrance along this same line by Caswell and Massey called Beatrix. That is a musky rose also but w/out tangerine. It uses bergamot and fig instead. I think Beatrix is stronger than Inflora so I will stay w/ that one. But if you like tangerine combined w/ rose and musk this is a really pretty one. Much better than the Chloe rose/tangerine scent that Inflora is compared to above. Inflora smells very natural where the Chloe perfume w/ the rose and tangerine smells like a cheap shower gel. So, if you want tangerine, musk and rose go w/ Inflora instead.

OMG, this was a total blind buy, but I actually really like the orangy rosey composition. This will be really great to wear this spring/summer. I'm on a floral kick right now and I'm so happy this worked out. I've never smelled Stella before, but I still wanted to try this one since the 3.4 oz bottles from this brand comes with like x2 1oz travel sprays. I can't be for certain, but I don't think this brand is associated with Bottega Venetta.
