Acqua Sale

i have a sample of this perfume and it's my favorite from the new bottega collection! feels like you took a refreshing shower after a day at the beach, but some of the saltwater from the sea still lingered on my skin and hair. makes you smell like you own a fancy boat! loved the way it reacted to my skin, it didn't last too long, but for some reason it was eternal when i sprayed it on my hair! adds to the "beachy" vibe of it all. i'm sad for the price, but this perfume really feels like a work of art :)

Acqua Sale is a beautiful and gentle mid-morning scent of a fresh new day. The soapy juniper with the sunny osmanthus, gentle musk and soft orris along with the salt makes this very calming and safe feeling, like wrapping yourself in a security blanket. Acqua Sale is like ‘your skin but better’. But in its genre of other salty scents, it’s not a patch on Aqcua Di Sale by Profumum Roma which blows this out of the salty ocean.

This fragrance is extremely stunning, if you appreciate nuance. However, as everyone says, it’s very soft and understated, probably ideal for the office. It is long lasting, however there is hardly any trail. I doubt anyone would compliment you except an intimate partner. That said I really do love it and if it was less expensive, I would purchase.

Smell like a salty Cardamon for me . Like a summer witch. Spicy and sweet like an autumn coffee shop but also aromatic like a witchy shop

Unfortunately one of the more clumsy formulations by Bottega. This fragrance can’t decide if it’s an oriental/Amber or citrus/aromatic/spice All I get here is a massive blend of sweet citrus and labdanum. This combo has never sat well with me, it feels stale, heavy, and tired. It’ll last ages but don’t expect sillage. If you want something citrus, but not fresh, amber, but not vanilla, this might be for you. Not blind but safe. 5/10

Generic aquatic musk that smells like if bath and body works started marketing a mist for men.

They all have similar woody and maybe slightly powdery/musky dry down because of the common accord of vetiver. Acqua #Sale smells just like its name- aquatic, very salty and marine in the beginning which gives beach 🏖️ or being on #cruise #vibes. Then it slowly opens the notes of mandarin and pepper. It is very #smooth and #pleasant. It changes to a salty perfume with hints of orange blossom in it. It dries down to a woody, musky, and slightly fresh skin scent which is very inoffensive. It is slightly masculine, long lasting, overall 8/10. It can be an easy reach for one who love freshies.

The top notes feature cool scents like black pepper, juniper berry, and galbanum, but as the fragrance develops, it takes on a powdery quality—perhaps due to the base notes of labdanum, osmanthus, and orris. I’m not sure why, but the lingering scent has a powdery quality that strongly reminds me of Dior’s Cologne Blanche.

this is very Alienor Massenet style of fragrance, reminded me of some Memo's especially Italian Leather and Maroccan Leather.
