Parco Palladiano III: Pera

Have a #1-6 discovery set of 10ml each, trying one a day this week... Opens peppery and dry woody, it reminded me of the CdG Monocle series here with it's laser focus on the woody and spicy elements especially in Laurel. This element is very good on it's own but as it dries a really nice mint tea starts to come through, a bit like Masque Milano's Russian Tea but much rounder, over the top of the woody base it began with (Russian Tea is smoky, this isn't it's sweeter). The noted rose and violet doesn't pop for me, if it's in the blend it's blended well down to give that natural airy feel along with the mint. Very impressed with this one, natural smelling like all the line so far but with a robust base to make it last longer and I think it's more masculine focused than many of the others. I'll probably look to buy a full bottle of this.

Parco Palladiano III is yet another tea scent that I just found (I'm a sucker for tea scent). I know this is supposed to be a fragrance with pear scent (pera), but for me, the first sniff of Parco Palladiano III reminds me of dry tea leaves in a tea shop that i really adore. It has a huge dose of mint and pepper, it feels bitter and organic. As time goes by, the scent becomes a tad sweet, still with moderate projection, and it stays that way until i return home.

Too bad that I did not get to sample this until last year. Prices have skyrocketed of course since it's discontinued but I don't recall this line being popular. All season type of scent except for Winter. It has a very natural feel. Fresh/fruity/floral and spicy. Thank God the patchouli note is non existent well at least to my nose. Performance is better than most in the same category. If it were around 125 I would buy it but not $300+

First off, for the niche folks, this is a gentleman and italian scent so it is not going to blast right away a la PDM, Mancera, etc.. This is such a nice and classy scent, centered around pepper, pear, mint. Note that this is a very dry and masculine scent. At first, i didn t know what to think of it but i love it now. And it lasts a long while.

This perfume is so fresh and unique! I love the combination of mint and sage in the top notes. It's really invigorating. The pear wood and tea give it a slightly sweet and woody depth, while the rose adds a touch of romance. Overall, it's a sophisticated and long-lasting scent that's perfect for both day and night.

A wonderful unique minty woody scent of a warm season - from spring till autumn. Unique and elegant.

Pera is not the typical composition you expect by its name, as the whole line Parco Palladiano by Bottega Veneta are unique fragrances, quite artistic and of an immense olfactory quality. Pera is a green and spicy composition that moves away from any fruity sweetness , synthetic and extremely sweet that usually abounds in the market when this note is present, the opening is spicy and cold, a black pepper that is almost absolute protagonist dominates the whole composition and mainly its opening is accompanied by a cold mint but that is always maintained as a support note never reaches to exceed the pepper, the pear here is not present has declared the note of Wood of the pear tree (which has a lot of logic) because little by little a wooden note is emerging that accompanied by the Salvia has a green and herbal facet, from the other notes that declares I feel very little or nothing, the thé is a slight sigh that can be appreciated more in its final stage. The rose, the pachuli, the musk are non-existent and if they are present it is only to add body to this fragrance that like almost all of the Parco Palladiano line has a moderate performance. I know of almost none of the fragrances with which they compare it in the "like to" section except Toy Boy which doesn't look at all if I can bring it closer to the lake for those who don't know it is to Zara Wood Street WO/02 but without the incense part.

Blind bought this upon knowing it's discontinued, though green scents are always kind of a hit or miss for me. Wasn't really sure what to think of this initially but it's definitely growing on me. On me it started out with a blast of pepper with a hint of mint in the background. Then was a sort of bitter aromatics/herbs (pardon my description). As it dried down there was a slightly sweeter quality, and I could smell the musk, tea (and I feel, sage?) Projection is around 5-6h before it fades to a skin scent (still existent around 11h mark at point of review) The pepper note lasts longer on clothing than skin

With a perfumer that has a resume of a legend although not recognised or appreciated She made such a unique fragrance with a soothing effect Mint and black pepper is all I get and both intertwine together I gotta say so far this collection has such great unique creations that I never knew about until they got discontinued I’m not sure I will be able to try all of them but I have a couple of them and I’m happy with most of them so far Performance was good and it projected softly If you like spicy fresh scents snatch one up

Quite different from the fragrances I usually wear but i like it. Opens with mint, spices, pear and musk. Sounds like a weird combination but its works. Performance was also good lasted a good 8/10 hours on me with moderate projection

Very unique, herby, woody but green and fresh fragrance. I can not smell any notes of flower but green and woody. Definitely unisex, quite strong and energizing at the same time. Simply unique and impressive.

Big mint up front, but not peppermint, plus a kick of pepper. The mint here is especially good. Unfortunately, like almost all mint top notes, it burns off within minutes.

Frankly made a mistake when blind bought this. Though it would have a pear note but turned out to be pear wood. And in the end, only mint and pepper showed up for the bottle opening party. Mint left early and only pepper stayed till the end. It’s pretty dull party since pepper is not one of my favorite notes. But thank goodness this is not the sneezy pepper type. It’s a bright woody pepper type, the one you get from the normal pepper you find on a dinner table and not the black peppercorn type. Yes, the woody part is true too. This is woody. Will probably find some way to layer this. 🙄 This is the one I like the least from this line so far, from Violetta, Neroli, Lilia, in order of purchase and liking..

A tenacious peppery, bitter aromatic-green, and woody scent on the masculine side of unisex. I also get an unsweetened fruit-water note from it, almost like the juice that might come from a watermelon rind, but it doesn't smell like melon. I can't quite place it. I thought I could detect the mint right after spraying, but it was quickly overwhelmed by the pepper and woody notes, and it never really smelled like fresh mint from the garden. This is an unusual scent that requires the right skin chemistry to wear it!

Like a pear counterpart of le labo rose 31. Fresh spicy, open with a blast of mint mix with sage. The pear only comes in pass the opening, but the spicy note stay throughout. Definitely masculine. The sillage is moderate but the longevity is quite good. One of my least favourites from the line.

As with romantic love, I very unexpectedly fell for this when I was in a flirtation with another. Elegant and refined yet fresh and dare I say, a little bit sexy. Hints of suede under a minty pepper blanket with an underlying musky base. The dry down sits close to the skin, but I get a nice breeze of it in movement and on my clothes. I came across this quite by accident while I was about to purchase something else. This utterly captivated me and I brought it home instead.

sStunning hyperrealistic pear fragrance. Green, fresh, crisp, aromatic yet with strong woody presence in the base. Easy to wear all year around but seems most accurate for fall. Didn't expect much from my sample considering the rest of this line is uninspiring but I have to eat my own words with this one. Probably the best "pear tree in harvest" scent ever made. 100% unisex, projection is somewhat heavy for first 5 hours, longevity around 10h total.

Extremely green and leafy, and woodsy...I find it more suited for men, as it smells earthy, and there isn't anything remotely feminine about it..there is also a slight peppery edge, I don't really enjoy the resinous smell it has...there is a certain quality about the scent, but not my cup of tea. With mint in it I expected a certain freshness, but it is swallowed by the woodsy notes.

Notes that I recognize: olive trees, pears, citrus, some sort of cummin and mint. This is sunshine in a bottle. My grandparents are from the Veneto region, maybe that is why this perfume means a lot to me, I try to use it only in special occasions. <3

Paco III, Harvested basket of pear that start to be over ripened, leave in the table in the park, full of wood. Spicy. I have no idea when to wear this. But I think this worth a revisit..

My least favorite from the Palladiano line. Pepper followed by strong bitter Mint...... it smells like old baking soda toothpaste. I do not like this.
