Parco Palladiano VII: Lillà

This is dewy lilacs and crushed up purple smarties (or as another reviewer said, "powdered grape candy"). Don't get me wrong - this is not a sugary sweet perfume. Nothing like the La Vie Est Belles or Aquolinas of the world. This is fresh, wet lilacs with the volume turned up just a bit, but without any of the sharpness that sometimes makes lilac fragrances smell more like room fresheners than perfumes. The salt and touch of sweetness just round out all the edges and give the lilacs some substance , giving me the most beautiful interpretation of lilacs I could ever hope for. I'm honestly not sure where the sweetness comes from. Is it an unnamed note? Is it the salt, somehow? I don't know, but I wasn't expecting it and it's otherworldly to me. En Passant is my benchmark lilac fragrance, so I can't help but compare these two. Lilla does share some similarities with En Passant, but they are not the same fragrance at all. Lilla has a little more body, the powdered candy essence, and the drydown stays true lilac. En Passant is more aquatic, lighter, less sweet, and has a distinct cucumber quality in the drydown. Between the two, Lilla has more staying power and a stronger projection. En Passant is more photo realistic. Regarding projection, Lilla has a radius of just beyond arm's length. Longevity, I get about 7 hours on the skin (though only about an hour before it becomes a skin scent). On clothes, it lasts 14+ hours, basically until I wash the item I've sprayed, and the projection sticks around for the first few hours. Not room filling, no big scent trails, but it isn't a skin scent all the way through. I imagine this was intended to be an early spring through late summer scent, but it's the type of thing I would personally wear year round. I happily shelled out the cash for a full bottle of this and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. A must try for any lilac fan, or fresh floral fans in general.

This is a pretty scent, and to me it's a unisex scent. I don't usually buy Bottega Veneta perfumes, however I was in Melbourne airport at 7 in the morning, and I was sleepy as hell, and I was trying to kill some time when I stumbled upon this one. I was testing perfumes with no intention to buy whatsoever, and there they were, standing in a corner of duty free shop at Melbourne Airport. They have Parco Palladiano I - IX, and I found myself drawn to III, V and VII (I ultimately bought the VII). Firstly sprayed I was instantly taken to lilac garden, but the scent was by no means beast mode. I thought, it was too soft even though I loved the juice. So I left it there, but the funny thing afterwards was, everybody could smell the wonderful smell, but as for me the smell was like a ghost, it came and gone.... (And it continued like that for about 6-8 hours), so I run back to the store to buy it. Yes, it is expensive, yes it's not a beast mode, and yes, lilac scent is not common, so I feel like a winner.

It's just simply AMAZING and MIRACLE!!! This is the first niche perfume and the most expensive perfume I ever dare to swipe my card for. BUT it worth any single cent. I have never ever smell anything like this before. Very distinguished, not loud not subtle but graceful and beautiful like a fairy in the heaven garden. First snip at the Changi Airport and BOOMM!!! It gets my soul right away with that light purple bottle.I can not believe such a elegant, high-class, beautiful fragrance like this only created by just a few simple notes. it's simple a BEAST and a WITCH! LOVE YOU FOREVER:))

This is a simple, elegant and effortless kind of perfume. It smells uncomplicated yet very luxurious. On me this scent is very feminine. I just can't imagine a manly man pulling this off. The lilac is soft and fresh. I really love wearing this in summer where it gets a little sweeter on my skin. In winter the green notes are more prominent and a little sharp, but I still like it! On me the projection is soft to moderate and longevity is 7-8 hours on my moisturised skin. Exceptional performance as you would expect from a perfume that costs $450 for a 100 ml bottle!

The best in late spring/summer Lilac. I'm usually wary of lilac in my frags, because most of the time, it smells like cheap air freshener. Of course, this doesn't, it's an amazing, light, aromatic, smooth lavender that belongs to whatever age woman. This is the kind of feminine scent worth the money because it smells so natural and lingers in the air without the needed heaviness of a cold-weather scent. Plus it smells niche, so I wouldn't compare it to a designer-style fragrance at all.

This embodies soft white bedsheets in a beach house, somewhere luxurious and expensive with an oceanfront view. A white linen dress, or white t-shirt and light wash jeans. VII is definitely salty on my skin, but pure lilac on my clothes. This has impressive lasting power for the type of fragrance it is. I’ve never experienced anything quite like this, and the gorgeous bottle is a bonus. A love for me.

Parco Palladiano VII: Lillà by Bottega Veneta is like powdered grape candy mixed with luxurious body soap! It’s sweet and youthful without smelling cheap, a pleasant fresh musk, lovely aquatic notes, and a sprinkle of tangy salt on top! I do find this to be a romantic and feminine scent and can’t help but think this fragrance would great as a candle and body lotion too!

My very favourite perfume of all time. Drifts of perfect lilac on a cool, salty breeze through a window overlooking a blue lagoon. Freshly laundered white curtains. Sun warmed bare legs. Devastated that it’s been discontinued.

This is great in my opinion. A linear lilac scent which is totally unisex. It is bright, fresh and luxurious. Longevity and projection are above average. Best in collection along with parco paladiano V

New Signature scent right here for me!

My take on these Parco Palladianos is that for the most part they take the idea of why we wear colognes, the freshness and brightness of notes that remind us of being outdoors, then make them into indelibile accords. Most of these seem to have an eternal life span and smell great all the way into their dry down, without being actual perfumes. I have V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX, X, XI and XV. VII is a citrusy green lilac, fresh and airy. It smells good, and other people will notice you smell good. It is in the same spirit as Roja Dove's Lilac but less sweet, somewhat richer, less diffusive and more spare in its construction which may make it more unisex. It also lasts longer. It stays a lilac scent pretty much all the way there. If you are curious, IX and X are more like perfumes, with transitions and dry down. IX is a robust violet and tonka pairing. X is a polished unisex green, almost savory, that ends in a gorgeous woody accord. V is like the mid drydown of 90s Guerlain vetiver, a sunny, citrusy, grassy, bright green cedar/vetiver cologne. VI is an airy, pale pink peppery rose that has great radiance and freshness.VIII is the distillation of a perfect neroli cologne, with incredible room filling sillage to start and minimum 12 hour longevity without changing the density and structure just intensity. XI is a vanillic chestnut that hums in a sophisticated way and to me the XV smells like aloe vera tastes, almost refreshing stopping just short, tart and round and something suggestive of salt and the color blue.

The first ten fifteen minutes of this was...this is so light I can hardly smell anything. Then the scent picked up and I could smell the scent better, though it’s still not that strong but it was an improvement for sure. No grape for me. It was a soft light floral scent. Don’t have lilac here so can’t tell if it’s a good representation of the flower but it’s good scent, albeit a bit powdery. I wish I can smell this better but also feel that if it were stronger, it might be offensive to some. Feminine leaning but can definitely be used by men, especially if it’s layered with something stronger.

Please don’t hate me for this but I cannot stand this one...and I am absolutely crushed because I had such high high HIGH expectations for this one... To me, it ends up smelling like rotten, curdled cream, perhaps the sea water or the salt don’t agree with my skin? Who knows? I so wanted to smell the lilac though!!!! I love the smell of lilacs as it is such a nostalgic scent to me! I am always on the lookout for a lilac scent and they do not come out often in the world of fragrance so when I discovered this one, my hopes were way up. Only to be crushed and I mean it!! I am so very jealous of you who just smell the magical beauty of dewy lilacs in this fragrance! The bottle is to die for and I am sad as hell to part with it but I cannot stand this...it smells like goat cheese on my unfortunate skin 😭😢😩 Edit 3/24/2022: It has now been a couple of weeks and I decided to just try it one more time to give this a chance. Sometimes, letting a bottle “rest” after shipping helps with the juice to settle. Well, it is still not a like but it has definitely improved. I can not necessarily smell that goat cheese stink I was getting from two weeks ago so that is great. But it doesn’t smell like the fresh dewy lilacs that everyone is talking about...I think I am going to wait another couple of months on this one and we shall see what happens then...I have hopes but they’re not too high...😬

Blind buy and its a nice fragrance but its maybe just too feminine for me personally. Lovely fresh lilac scent. Performance was surprisingly good, a solid 8/10 hours with very noticeable sillage. Anyone looking for a full bottle to trade or buy let me know.

A Light Exceptional Fresh, Refined and Luxury scent for a woman. This is how I would like my woman to smell in the summer time on vacation on a yacht smell. Drinking Martinis. I would even wear this as a man its so fresh and stunning, even though it leans feminine. Bottega Veneta is beginning to be one my top houses. They make ridiculous awesome scents, especially for men

I did not find this unisex at all. It is a very feminine and beautiful lilac fragrance. It’s another quality, lovely fragrance from Bottega Veneta. This house is so underrated for fragrances and handbags.

Paco VII Salty with beautiful lilac, authentic. I don’t like salt note.
