Petali di Vaniglia

First of all it's my 5th bottle of Bottega Verde fragrances after: Rosa (favourite), Violetta, Vaniglia Nera and Neroli. So it goes without saying that I do like the brand. ;) I came across it at the small town Todi in Tuscany. And it was the smell of Rosa that forced me into the store. Literally. I was on my way to the nearby church passing the store when suddenly I felt the most wonderful smell ever. I went in and asked the sales clerk what it possible might be. A little surprised with my question, he replied that it must have been one of their fragrances - Rosa itself. As he just had shown it to the other consumer. And yes it was IT! I bought a bottle and since then I have shopped online many BV products. All of them excellent btw. :) But getting back to the Petali di Vaniglia - it was a blind buy. Like all others after the first Rose. And a very lucky blind buy I must say... Cause Petali di Vaniglia reminds me of no less than Dama Bianca Casamorati. A have both. Body Lotion of Dama Bianca as well, and the resemblance is really huge. When I checked the pyramid I saw that four of the notes are the same. Vanilla, White Musk, Ambrette AND Malt. So there is no accident and my nose is rather not wrong. I enjoy this fragrance a lot. And I'm really impressed how good, with high quality yet for a low price, these all perfums are. Big thumb up!

I have the body mist version of this (for some reason called Parfum Deodorant) and I enjoy it very much. It's a clean but sweet vanilla scent reminiscent of baby powder. Very soothing. It's extremely feminine in my opinion. This is a perfect vanilla scent to wear when you want to feel clean. I find myself reaching for this scent very often these days. It doesn't smell cheap and it's not a warm, pure vanilla. This was a blind buy and I'm very happy it turned out to be something I enjoy, as I'm usually very particular with my vanillas. Projection is quite good for a body mist, and lasts for days on clothes. I'm almost out of this body mist and I will buy the EDT once this bottle runs out entirely. Layers beautifully with Kayali Pistachio Gelato 33.

It is baby powder vanilla. So lovable in Summer especially.. Unfortunately i couldnt find its deodorant in Turkey :(. Love to combine perfumes with own deodorants..

Smells like tea... Powdery tea with vanilla , another bad mix by Bottega ....sadly
