Vaniglia Nera

The opening notes smell like coffee mocha with a vanilla twist, which to my nose is a beautiful, sweet, gourmand and it's simply lovely. The notes then settle into a mixture of fruity florals but try for the life of me, I can't smell tuberose even though it's listed. I can smell a rather delicious juicy, fruity, smell of peaches, but the florals definitely sit in the wings in this one. The dry down is spicy, sweet, floral and gourmand all at the same, but in the base notes, there is musk which freshens this composition and seems to tone it all down so that the sweetness doesn't run away with itself. This is the second fragrance from Bottega Verde that I have tried and I'm very impressed with the quality and composition of ingredients. I think this company are the Italian version of Yves Rocher and they are well worth a try, the prices are brilliant for the quality of the products. Projection is great and longevity is excellent (5hours+) especially for an EDT. 5/5 from me!!

This is quite a pretty scent. Warm, cozy, creamy and soft if 1-2 sprays are applied. More sprays can make it unnecessarily loud and harsh. It's not young nor mature, has a slight vintage vibe which I really don't mind here, although I generally dislike vintages and grandma-like smells. No similarity whatsoever with Black Opium. Of all the notes, vanilla and malt are the ones that are always present and sit right upfront. The malt gives the feeling of something starchy and edible, but not in the sweet candy-like, usual way, but it rather makes me think of some freshly-baked vanilla pastry with a bit of powdered sugar over it. I can't sense any coffee, tuberose or patchouli. For me it's a pleasure to wear it in cold weather, as it's so rich and comforting, but not overly sweet. As for the performance, I can't complain. I can sense it for at least half of the day, longer on clothes obviously.

It was a present for my birthday from a dear friend.I .(On me it smells like bubblegum, but i swear i like it).It is sweet and soft and it doesn't last long on my skin....but ,despite all that, i like it.

Demasiado empalagoso para mi gusto, huele parecida a la crema corporal, que tampoco es que me encante. Le regalé ambas a una amiga y a ella le gustó mucho. Adoro la vainilla, pero acabo de descubrir que no la negra ;)

I got the body cream of this today. It really reminds me of Jungle L'Elephant. I'm not saying it smells completely like it, it's not a dupe or anything but it's definitely in that family and would layer well. I agree with the poster below that it would go nicely with Hypnotic Poison too. Also...the name really should be changed to Vaniglia Nera. It's not cool to have fragrance names spelled wrongly here of all places.
