Violetta

Oh, I'm happy they added this Bottega verde fragrances in the database! There are many florals between the Bv fragrances (as iris, rose, lily of the valley, orchid, etc), and this violet is the lastest one. I like it very much, altought it isn't a typical violet fragrance: it's rather a powdery floral similar to Chloe love (I guess it's due to the union of violet+iris+rose notes!) , very feminine and also long lasting! And very cheap, too: the 30 ml is about 12 euros!

I tried this EDT today, it's beautiful: very similar to Chloè Love Intense. If you want a dupe, try it!

I would call this perfume "Memento mori" - it smells anything but lively. Not vivid, joyful, passionate, sexy, emotional, romantic, active, exotic, erotic, sensual, fresh etc. No sweetness, no flowers, no fruits (lemon, mandarin, orange - where?). If I could describe it through colours, I would say it's violetish gray. It smells still particular, different than anything else. I even don't knwo if I could like it? I simply don't understand that perfume. It's a bit dark, but not mysterious. Suitable for funeral, maybe? As it feels serious, bitter and perhaps even sightly elegant.

The very strong opening alcohol part should not scare you. A dusty, powdery, light and sweet soul is just around the corner. A discreet fragrance perhaps from other times but still timeless and suitable for everyone. To be used alone or for layering. It can be purchased at very competitive prices. Also suitable as a good night perfume. A little cuddle before a night's rest.

At first whiff off the bottle, I was a bit underwhelemd, because it was rather soapy and clean. When I wore it on myself, I realize there was that powdery, and floral violet scent I was looking for at heart. It's not the wet, and realistic violet that stays constant. Yet you cannot not know that this is violet after the top note evaporates.

This is really nice. It’s powdery but not suffocating or old school. It also has some freshness and sweetness that gives it a romantic feel. It’s a pleasant fragrance for dreamy introverted girls. It’s feminine, relaxing and soft. It’s also a good choice if you are looking for a safe violet scent.
