Boucheron Femme Eau de Parfum (2012)

The addiction is real on this one! It should be classed as an addictive substance! Or given out on prescription as a mood elevating anti depressant. I know it makes me instantly happy! I bet this is what GOD smells like! Oh my actual goodness this is amazing. Total soap addict here 👋 so thourilly soap me and soap me again please! This satisfies my soap fragrance addiction like no other! I'm living for the soap bomb vibe of this beast. It's become one of my top 5 perfumes of all time. It's expensive french luxury and sophistication in a bottle. Its a struggle not to reach for it every single day! As soon as the fragrance opens for me its soapy and clean and vanilla and almondy in a hypnotic poison type way, and it has a wonderful big floral with gardenia type smell but it doesn't have gardenia in it so it must be the tuberose. I'm so drawn like an addict to big personality heavy soapy beast perfumes or powdery beasts the stronger the better. No fragrance could ever wear me so l indulge in the stronger perfumes more. People have said this is very 80's soap bomb, l guess that could be true, but l was 5yrs old in 1980 and dont remember smelling fragrances like this. I'm sure if l did the smell would have imprinted on my mind and nose. l was surrounded by the scents of Dior, Chanel, Estee-Lauder and Yves-Saint-Laurent in those days from my mum & aunt, and their friends.. l bought a bottle for my mum a couple of weeks back and she's never smelled anything like it, it didn't remind her of any scent she had come across in her 68 years and trust me when l say that between me and my mum, all the best selling perfumes worth having in history we've had them all TWICE! She loved this too. I was getting so bored with my perfume collection l just felt uninspired when trying to choose one to wear so didn't wear any for about a year. I found this on Ebay so cheap l thought if it's awful l can just give it away. The name Boucheron sounded so French and posh, l saw the RRP price point, & l thought it must be okay. It immediately made me smile with a giddy type glee, and l couldn't stop smelling myself going "Mmmmmm" each time l inhaled the scent, it literally makes me weak at the knees, its pure pleasure and fragrance magic for me. That fancy expensive French soap smell with the vanilla scent and the sandlewood amber floral composition is amazing. I couldn't love this more. I will grab as many bottles as this as l can because l know it will be one of those perfumes that become a nightmare to find and will be so expensive when you do find it, you will have to win the national lottery to buy it, so I'm stocking up. It's worth it. This scent belongs on a very sophisticated chic beautiful woman who dresses impeccably in seriously expensive Couture and makes other women stare because they want to be like her. Boucheron Pour Femme you are gorgeous. l cant imagine ever getting sick of this fragrance! ♥️ I give this sexy little beaut a 10/10.

Beautiful classic. I knew this perfume (well, the EDT) from a former roommate in university who either wore this, or Byzance. Then I didn’t like it so much but recently I decided to give it a try as I was on the hunt for a tuberose scent. So I bought the EdP for a ridiculously low price, and it is stunning! The tuberose mixes beautifully with the orange flower and mandarin and the creamy sandal base gives it a luxurious feel. It slightly reminds me of the tuberose-orange combination in Tom Fords Orchid Soleil but less dirty, less in your face and far more classy.

This fragrance reminds me of a scent from long ago, only thing is, I cannot remember which one. I really like it. It smells very classy, and has an air of sophistication unlike other similar scents I have smelled. There is no one note that stands out to me, but they are so well blended, the mix is amazing. I will be reaching for this one often during these cooler months. I do love perfumes made in Paris the most. Sure seems like they know how to make lavish scents.

OMG...This is gorgeous...i fell in love with it!!!...So beautiful. On my wish list for sure !!!.Give it a try ladies...u will be surprised just like me of how beautiful this fragrance is ;))) I haven't tried the Original one yet, but if the fargrance is the same, then i could go for it blindly !!!

Like Panthere de Cartier, I put it in the category of "smells like money." In a good, classic, mind your manners, but break the rules if you have the pedigree to do so sort of way. Or, if you're getting on in years, don your fur and own it all that much more.

The new Boucheron is not the same as an original one.. THE MAGIC IS GONE... how sad....

Blind buy for me based on description and reviews. There is something about this one, it is soo NOT me, yet I can't stop sniffing my wrist. For some reason I expected more of the orange blossom and in a light carefree way.. this is everything BUT carefree.The mandarin and the orange blossom are the strognest but then the tuberose and jasmine are also very strong, then there is something peppery and some sandal wood, just a bit of oriental feel. It is heavy on my nose, yet so enticing. Something snobby about it, someone mentioned it "smells like money" and I agree. Certainly not one that will remain unnoticed or just leave an impression of "oh, a pleasant smell". It is deep, mysterious, a tad pretentious like and lady who knows exactly what she wants. I can't yet decide if I LOVE it or not. It dries down wonderfully though, the harsh notes are way down and it's much more friendly 30 min to an hour after a spray. My bottle is the one with the blue cap and yellow perfume btw.

This review is for Boucheron with the gorgeous gorgeous blue cap; it starts off way too heady and strong, like almost a whiff of an era long gone and forgotten. Reminiscent of the 80s. Then it develops to a powdery musky, dare I say sensual tone. It lasts >6 hours on me, I can still detect it if I move and it is just lovely. It embodies confidence and bold allure to me. Not a young woman perfume ( I say this and I am only 30),something about this hits the spot just right.

Orange blossom and tuberose doing the tango on a base of powder and vanilla. It's super strong to start with, for the first hour or so it's a beast, but then it seems to retreat very quickly. Not for hot days, you'll choke. It's not either outright love, or abject hate for me...it's ok, but I have other vintage-y florals that I prefer.

Good God this stuff is strong! I almost had an asthma attack after just two sprays. A classic smell, but far too overwhelming for me. Wow.

Even though released in 2012, this for me really still represents big time late eighties chic. A big floral balmy blend in which all the notes really stand out altogether in this chic live music bar, with the sandalwood playing the saxophone. I imagine how this could have been a very sexy perfume on a thirty-year old independent woman in the heart of her career, wearing thight skirts and oversized jackets with shoulder-pads. If I would have met her then, I would have told her she smelled lovely. But if I need to wear this now, I would seem like the poor student who stole a bottle of perfume from her mothers cabin and tries to get away with it...

Got a sample on Groupon, decided to try due to all those good reviews here and "citrus" and "fresh" notes. Wasted $6. The first sniff you get when you spray it on the skin is disgusting, it reminded me no, not of an "old people's smell", more of a cheap late 80s soviet-style cologne we used to clean mosquito bites with. After a while the smell became more bearable, but I would under no circumstances classify it as "classy". May be it is just chemistry with my skin, but alas- do not buy it online unless you've previously tried it.

If you like tuberose this perfume might be for you. I'm breaking out some of my heavier winter scents for a last hurrah before spring officially moves in and just applied this after not wearing it for a long time. This is a beautiful Oriental FLORAL. White FLORAL. FLORAL FLORAL. I spray this on and get warm vanilla, white flowers, amber and citrus coming up as the perfume dries down. The flower which stands out with this perfume is the TUBEROSE. It is very beautiful fragrance if you like a HEAVY FLORAL. The limit for this fragrance is it's versatility. I can't think of many places I could wear this and it be appreciated---even by me. I can enjoy this around the house, in the evening, and I do. Did I mention it's a HEAVY FLORAL?!?!?!? Edit: The more this dries down the more it's smelling like Joop or Ciara. I'm getting an entirely new understanding of this perfume. Did I mention it's a heavy floral?

28. november 2013 I seriously love the vintage classic "Boucheron" pre-reformulated and cherish those bottles. I do not like that much the most recent edition, which is just ugly soapy to my nose. This one is inbetween. I can ́t add much to what Olga1780 said already, this one has less depth than the original and not as complex as it was, however still OK. I do love the bottle (looks amazing in real life, honestly!) and the price was reasonable as well, BUT i will stick to my vintage bottles of this classic scent. Nooothing compaaaares, nothing compares to youuuuuu... (the vintage beauty).

This is a question. I'm able to buy a Boucheron Femme EDP and EDT here in Denmark but the liquid looks yellow in images and the cap is blue. Is there a difference/reformulation? Some of you mention another formulation, does that pre-reformulation/original come in a bottle that fits my description of the one I can buy in one of our Dept. stores?

The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, but the scent is pretty much the same as the original, with less depth and complexity. It still is a beautiful fragrance, but not essential for your perfume wardrobe if you have the original version; unless you would like it in your collection for the fabulous bottle.

Blindly bought this, I was on a perfume shopping spree... I love it, it is powdery and very elegant however it smells exactly like YSL Rive Gauche which is another favourite of mine and I have stocked up on it as the perfume prices have been sky-rocketing lately.

Aww 😍 it's the bottle for me.. I do not know or smelt this but I bought the original for its bottle and I intend to buy this Hopefully I can get a bottle of this.. As a tuberose lover, this should be a good purchase
