Boucheron Singulier

YSL Y edp's older brother. Its probably weird to make that comparison because the well known green apple note in Y is nowhere to be found here. Yet it just makes sense to my nose. Even though people are comparing this to sauvage edt and carbon, it is far from a generic "blue" fragrance. It opens with a nice combo of woody lavander and fruits, the woods remain throughout the life of the scent but the fruits (imaginary apple note) tone down in the drydown. If i had to describe it scenically, imagine standing next to a tree close to the seaside, drying off in the sun after rain on a windy day, that soft breeze that hits your face is how this smells. Some reviews here call this a "gym scent", I just dont see it. a better example of a gym scent imo would be Nautica voyage or Acqua di Gio edt, this one outperforms and outprojects both, also it smells a little too serious for that occasion. #xxx in my Random Buy and Tries de Fragrance...lolol Boucheron Singulier Boucheron Quite a new release from Boucheron. Got this from fragx. Office and School friendly musculine mass appealing blue scent. Basically another scent with Dior Sauvage vibe (not that close though) that opens with citrus and juniper berries with the lavender and sage being rather prominent and gets Vetiver woody in the drydown. It's not really sweet unlike some sweet Sauvage alternatives around and has a lesser bit of powderyness compared to PLRC but there are similarities. Those who like PLRC can get this as an alternative too as it's cheaper. Last few hours to half a day maybe 6hrs on skin and suits all weather. Safe to overspray. Ok to blind buy as it's inexpensive. Still pretty good as a blue scent from an old school brand.

My big take away is that everyone smells something different with this one. I have PRADA carbon and it smells nothing like that, it smells nothing like Sauvage; yes it's spicy but the oriental pepper in sauvage is distinctive and dominant. It smells to me like a blue fragrance with a citrus heavy opening and a peppery spicy backdrop. The florals soon come in but not in an overpowering way and then the woods give it depth. To me it's like Channel BDC. I wasn't a fan of BDC because the blue side was too weak and the florals too heavy so I sold it. But this fragrance swaps those around. Yes it's generic. But it smells fresh and clean. Sometimes that's what you want. I'm getting decent performance, longer than BDC and Carbon but less that Sauvage.

It is a pretty good soapy placeholder for sauvage or luna rossa carbon. When the price is factored in, it pretty much becomes a no brainer if you want to scratch that sauvage/LRC scent profile without breaking the bank. It is closer to LCR than sauvage, but overall has less personality than either of those two. In a vacuum this is a very likeable scent that would be a great gift to any guy who isn't picky about what they wear, but when you take price out of consideration this is definitely not quite up to sauvage or LRC.

It’s a very dry and aromatic blue fragrance, it reminds me of Fierce from Abercrombie with elements of Prada Carbon and Sauvage, like a musk heavy blue fragrance with zero sweetness. I also pick on what I think is calone giving it a dirty ocean vibe, and a sharp metallic note. It’s unique, nothing quite smells like it. Average performance.

I love it. Yes it is a modern blue scent. Yes it is a bit generic in the market. Yes it reminds me of all the popular blue scent. Still its pleasant and good quality blue shower gel style scent. Very versatile and easy going. Great for warmer days.

The new Boucheron Singulier is a very pleasant and versatile citrus-aromatic scent with younger and easygoing profile . The listed notes are completely correct - I can sense all of them. It opens up with juicy grapefruit with lovey bright and energizing bergamot. The start is fresh, modern, with sunny and carefree vibe :) Later, the notes of sage and juniper comes to the party and they take over the main role. Boucheron Singulier sounds harmonious, playful and relaxing. It doesn't bring something new, but it is well done and truly pleasant. Niche heads and seekers or dark, complicated and unusual scents may skip it without a doubt. All in all - Singulier is a nice fresh and modern scent with citrus-aromatic profile, that can be a good one for those who want an elegant, light, versatile, office friendly. En excellent idea for a gift too. Performance on me is very good. Edit: in some ways, it reminds me a little of Atkinsons 24 Old Bond Street. Not the same, but kind of a younger and playful edition.

This is my second opinion here - today my friend bought it and I had the opportunity to tests it again. I like it a lot more then the fist time I've smelled it. Now I can clearly detect more woody nuances and notes that are not listed as Elemi, Pepper and Olibanum. It sounds very elegant, office friendly and refined woody aroma. I don't agree it's a basic one, shower gel or blue type ordinary smell. If you like scents like Terre d'Hermès EDT, Bentley Infinite Intense EDP, Baldessarini Ultimate and so on smart woody-aromatic fragrances with refined and playful profile, please test it. It deservers attention.

Review for batch: 06M37M131 For me this was blind buy and I expected evergreen notes. On my skin Singulier has evergreen notes and purple mountain flowers. I dont smell citrus nor grapefruit, but still its leaning to be more spring/summer fragrance. On my skin projection is average, and it last around 4 hours. I am going to wear this as office fragrance. EDIT October 2024 This is "blue" fragrance, ideal for wearing for office.

This was a pleasant surprise. It does have a modern blue element but also a touch of that classic, old school DNA vibe that is so pleasant and masculine. It just smells good and nothing pretentious. You can get a big bottle for under $40.

I like it. The opening is loud and disordered. The drydown is smooth and pleasant. I can feel the Prada LRC & Sauvage DNA with extra dose of lime/citruses. Office/gym safe every day scent.

A rough but successful version of Prada. it's not sweet, which is a plus. it lacks core. suitable for young and sedentary men. durability is not his forte, very, very weak....

Singulier Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is the latest bet by the Boucheron brand aimed at the male audience, launched at the end of 2022. If I'm not mistaken, the last male fragrance before this one was Quatre Absolu de Nuit pour Homme, launched in 2017. Obviously, I am not considering the unisex fragrances of La Collection. The fragrance of Singulier Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is classified as woody-aromatic and was created by Caroline Dumur, who revealed that she used two types of cedar and, also, two types of patchouli. As far as the fragrance is concerned, Singulier Pour Homme Eau de Parfum touches the skin in a very pleasant way. What we call a hook, in perfumery, is quite pleasurable and sells the fragrance in a few moments. An evident explosion of juniper, combined with the acidity of bergamot, exudes without fear of scaring and reveals all the camphorated and aromatic effects of the lavender. The sage Officinalis brings spiciness, without those sweeter nuances of the Clary sage. From this point on, the fragrance seems to get colder on the skin and little of the patchouli is noticeable, at least on me. Indeed, cedar leads the dry down and Singulier Pour Homme no longer shows any changes. Performance, however, is a separate issue. The fragrance explodes at first, exudes for a few minutes, and then saturates the sense of smell, giving a false impression that it is no longer projecting. And to make matters worse, it indeed loses power, getting close to the skin quickly, with a maximum duration of six hours. And I cannot finish without saying what is already obvious: Singulier Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is, clearly, Boucheron's (through Interparfums) attempt to grab some of the market share conquered by Bleu de Chanel and all the competing fragrances that came later. Wrong they are not, but a little late, I would say. I liked the fragrance and I think it's perfect for use in closed offices, shared workspaces, doctors' offices, or those small cubicles in bank agencies. It only sinned in not delivering the same as the others had already delivered before.

#726 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a sprayette sample. It's okay scent-wise. I've smelled hundreds like this. Versace Pour Homme, Eau Fraiche and Dylan Blue, Paco Phantom, Chanel Allure Homme Sport, Cristiano Renaldo, Jaques Bogart's Silver Scents, Banderas Blue Seduction, Lapidus, Miyake, Choo, Nautica, Chrome, Mercedes. I've wasted a ton of money on poor performing scents like this only to give away a few hundred, which is why I now get samples every time. It's a nice enough cheapie that's not Tommy Bahama weak, but it's pretty weak. Lasted about an hour on my skin for a casual three mile walk in not particularly hot weather, and I don't just mean the citrus fading out as it always does, but literally getting nothing an hour later. Sillage in inches right after initial spray, so the projection is next to nothing. I assume you'd pick this up, if you did at all, for something inexpensive for the gym bag. It's inoffensive, car pool, elevator and office safe, but for me, since this won't make it to lunch, despite it getting a thumbs up for being, "very masculine", from my beautiful and charming friend Tara, it's not worth owning to me.

Boucheron Singulier for men: First impression, it smells like Cool Water Street Fighter (2021). A lot of orange, it is also very similar to Tommy Bahama Set Sail St Barts (2007) I’m pretty surprised with the newer Boucheron fragrances (Quatre/Singulier) It seems like they are trying to make fragrances that are more for the modern age, but they lack the elegance we got from Jaipur and Boucheron EDP. It’s not a bad fragrance but I don’t think it’ll stand up and stand out against the big 3 that are popular right now (Sauvage, Baccarat, Eros).

I finally smelled this one. Opening is "generic" blue style fragrance. After minutes, it starts to get more herbal and aromatic. Its in a similar style of Coach Platinum mixed with Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. It doesn't smell anything like Bleu de Chanel or even Sauvage. It has a slightly metalic-woody-herbal thing. Pretty generic and uninspiring.

J'étais confus quand j'ai lu dans la description du parfum que c'était un parfum sophistiqué, mais quand je l'ai essayé, j'ai vu un parfum très très très simple , et je n'ai rien vu de quelque chose spécial Ouah c'est Quoi ça Boucheron !!! 😐😅

A new masculine by Boucheron? I'm into it! Hopefully is going to be better than Quatre.
