Jaipur Homme Limited Edition

Beautiful, mature, calm. That's how I find the Limited Edition of legendary Jaipur of house Boucheron. Initial spray brings a bitter-sweet freshness of tropical fruits (not mentioned, but I think of cloves here), melon. Quickly the watery accord becomes present and, what is extraoridinary, it lasts and lasts till the very end of the fragrance performance, which is a phenomenon not known to me before. So, it creates the aura of freshness. It's not the "sea brise" kind if water, it's more like mountain cold stream water smell. Core is mellow and warmed with spices of vanilla and cinnamon, very gentle though with just a touch of ozonic amber. Drydown is astonishingly well blended, at the end I couldn't recognize notes. Overal impression is just amazing. This is so far the best mature but smart-casual vacation fragrance I have encountered. It suits white shirts and sunny days. It performs nicely in hot temperatures - it gives me and impression of being near the swimming pool. And it lasts and projects very well. It's a gem beyond a pile of plastic. If Lalique Encre Noire Sport is an emerald, Boucheron Jaipur LE is definitely a sapphire.

Just worn this out after taking delivery (blind buy) 2 days ago. Unmistakably Jaipur, but more contemporary, and I would say, an all year round fragrance. It's November, and whilst having a fresh, aquatic dimension, the warmth of the original Jaipur underpins this scent. I have had 2 unsolicited compliments already with this one, a rarity for me considering some of the classics in my collection. Longevity is excellent and I hope that I can continue to get hold of this, as it's versatility and ingenuity make it a must have in my wardrobe. Update. After nearly a month of owning this bottle, it has become one of my top 6 fragrances. A truly amazing scent!

This is a unique "summer" fragrance, in a great way. This one goes beyond the normal "citrus, ozonic, aquatic" summer fragrance. And don't be scared by the cinnamon note. I personally believe this could be an all-arounder, maybe except in cold cold temps. You'd definitely stand out, because there aren't many scents that you can point to that smells super similar unless you look at the company line-up itself. Snag it before it's gone for sure.

Great scent, aquatic summer flanker for Jaipur Homme. I love them both, but stocks have been hijacked by greedy eBay sellers who have doubled the price. The whole point of having this was that it was a good quality cheapie. Not worth the money now IMO. £50+ could buy a truly great designer scent, and that's what I'll be doing. It's good, but not that good!

I am so surprised! I love this thing... Normally, I hate melon, it smell is very repulsive to me, but here, Oh god! Normally, I hate spicy fragrances, but the melon/water notes tame down the spices to give you a fresh/spicy scent that is very weird and unique in a very good way! Awesome, complex and good all year round!

Fresh opening with good sillage. Soft drydown but the freshness also stays for me. I also own Jaipur edt and that is stronger than this one. It's not as strong as listed above. Happy that I bought it for around 25 Euro from Germany. Nice looking bottle.

Magnificent melon 🍈! One of my all time aquatic favorites. Keeps the DNA from the original but turned into a tropical journey, sweet but charming. Reacts better with humidity on summer / spring. Good longevity and silage and a compliment getter.

Totally underrated zesty masterpiece! But. you will go for tom ford and breath chemicals all day long! Made my (autumn) day - awesome!!! I have the original and obviously it is too spicy for 2020 ...but thiiis - big wow!!!

A great bottle, and still based on the same scent as the original, only in a lighter version, maybe easier to wear on a daily basis or for work eventhough it is still very original.

Aquatic melon with spices and vanilla is such unusual combination, but somehow it works!

Sometimes this novice fragrance user just gets lucky and accidentally stumbles onto something surprising. I saw the notes and liked many of them: love vanilla (and it's second cousin, amber), am a fan of well done marine scents, and tend to like fruit as long as it's not too sweet. This one adds up to an awesome summer fragrance! It reminds me of many 90's fragrances that use calone. The opening is melon/aquatic and dries down the same but with a touch of spice and a nice, smooth vanilla (my favorite note). Not loud or acidic but just smooth and cool. Apparently it was limited edition and is discontinued but I found it for a very reasonable $23. It's a nice marine/melon/softly spiced vanilla that doesn't smell cheap at all.

Never been crazy about Jaipur or any other Boucheron scent - but I love the bottle. So classy. So Deco... Seeing this LE in a light blue flask and reading some positive reviews here and elsewhere, I surrendered - and don't feel disappointed. Quite the opposite: Jaipur LE is a no-nonsense summer cologne, boasting fresh vibe, fruity sweetness and quality ingredients. It's really nice, without a single vicious or dirty note, but much more exciting than most 'summer editions' around. It's real. It has presence. It's not cloying! Longevity is decent, sillage is restrained (good for hot weather), everything is blended just fine. Recommended .

A blind buy, and a good one, i bought it for my guy,we both did spray it on, fresh with a aqua opening and soft melon note, not bothering at all, really on hot weather a welcome suprice, when sprayed on the temperature was around 30 degrees, lovely, now 6 hours later, i still smell it on me, the dry down is like the Jaipur home EDP, the melon note i can't detect anymore, at my guy i almost can't smell it anymore, so probably his body chemestry, that does not hold it longer, i find it very wearable for a female, and same for a male if you like Jaipur i can recommend this version for both,,,

A contemporary, more easily wearable (at least for me) of the original Jaipur EDT. It retains most of the warm spicy feel but lacks the strong floral notes. It definitely smells like it's from a different era without being "dated" so if this was the goal, then Annick Menardo definitely succeeded (as if she ever fails!). I found my sample to be pleasant, if not spectacular, and though it's a limited edition and will surely disappear from the gray market soon, I think it'd make for a good bridge towards '90s and more "mature" fragrances for someone is only used to newer ones.

This is a very nice formal/informal wear fragrance. Very aquatic, very heavy on cloves and melon, slightly salty, nutmeg is definitely here. If you don't like nutmeg; avoid this fragrance. However, this is a nice take on summer. Not too loud, not to quiet; just right. It's everyone says, this is a nice fresh summer scent. Jaipur DNA all over it, but with a twist of melon. Well made. Of course, Annick Menardo makes excellent fragrances. Respectable longevity and sillage. Reminds you of something you've smelled before, but can't tell what: This is Jaipur Homme edt. 👍

An aquatic Jaipur? I scratch my head...

I bought a bottle of this blindly and with high hopes, but I didn't care for it. This version of Jaipur will most likely disappoint devotees of the original, while failing to create the atmosphere needed to please fans of true aquatic and ozonic fragrances. I find the whole concoction a little awkward and nauseating. You have the DNA of the original (the spices and the powdery, floral vanilla) serving as the fragrance's foundation, and it's embellished at the top with an ozonic, calone-y melon note. This aspect is rough, almost crudely synthetic, and it feels forced in relation to its pairing with the base. Rather than presenting something striking or novel, Jaipur 2013 creates a clumsy, discordant scent. It's almost as if you accidentally layered two fragrances together. Is this supposed to be casual or formal? Fresh and fun, or opulent and luxurious? It opens with its abrasive version of "fresh," but at the same time the oriental qualities inherent in the original begin to emerge. What results is a fragrance that never feels fresh enough for the heat, or sufficiently committed to succeed as an oriental. After the aquatic top notes wear off, about an hour or so in, you're left with an anemic, residual shell of the original, and a couple of grievous questions: What the hell was going on in the beginning, and why'd I have to endure all that just to get here? Perhaps if more time was spent in refining the aquatic top, and greater attention paid to blending it with the heart and base, this would have worked. But the summer notes seem rushed, and they transition poorly to the others. Thumbs down.

I didn't find anything special in this parfume. An ordinary scent, with moderate longetivity. I was surprised when I saw it was produced in 2013. For me it smells kinda outdated.

I wore both Jaïpur fraîcheur épicée and Jaïpur eau de parfum (the heaviest one there is!). As a rule, I don't care for watery notes and melon. I am not too big on light fruity fragrances either. An aquatic amber-based fragrance sounds like an oxymoron to me! However, since Limited Edition is part of the Jaïpur line of fine products, it has to be good. I can't wait to try it.

Loving this scent. Blind bought online. It’s fantastic. The dry down is the best. melon vanilla cinnamon cloves mixed very well. Once it settles it’s an alluring scent. Keeps you sniffing. I liked the original but it just smells too old school. If we were still in the 1990s no question. I would have bought instantly I’m sure. This limited edition is more modern

Hi I have tried this one it smells summery and melon-y notes combined together seemingly if they are crammed and pressed very hard together. It also smells a bit peppery. In a nutshell it smells familiar yet nice there is nothing special about it, when you sniff it you will say hah ha i have smelt that somewhere urrr yet i forgot where. GOOD LUCK.

This one will probably be avaialble in the states somewhere around 2016. Why does it always take so long for something to hit the shelves long after its released? If it is a spring or summer frag, by the time it's released it is already fall! Poor planning on someone's part

bought it yesterday.. There was no tester available yet so it was a blind buy.. This is just gorgeous, a light, yet strong version of Jaipur, very good sillage, leaves a beautifull trail.. So to the fans of Jaipur, you can t go wrong with this one !!

I’ve had this for 3yrs now and am just getting around to written review. Short n sweet. I love it! spring and/or summer and/or vacation approved. I’ve been a big fan of the OG (edt & edp) now I truly can enjoy the Jaipur dna 12/12 months!

Someone will have to let me know where they see this. The original is one of my absolute favorites in the winter time, even if it is a bit heavy. A fresher version of it sounds good to me -- perhaps for a year-round scent.

The notes terrify me. As Endymion says, an aquatic Jaipur? I utterly adore the original. I have to smell this. Annick Menardo is quite talented, so this could be interested, but I am still uncertain...

To tell u the truth , i have never owned a Boucheron before , but i always wanted 2 , Beside i like all the top notes , so i will try by god's well to buy it a.s.a.p when it comes home ( egypt ) !!!

I just tryed it today. For me it is indeed fresh and watery in the begining but then it become absolutely the same with the original. But it's a summer scent olny for half hour.

cant wait to try this after falling completely head over heals for the original jaipur EDT/EDP

The original is nice but not something I would wear. This one looks promising though.
