Serpent Bohème

You have to live like a boheme to understand this scent. It's an accessory rather than an outfit. I wore it in the heat of mischievous summer days, trapped in a dream that brought me back to even more boheme days filled by nights of cigarette smoke, oil paint and staying up until the moroders were on their way home. I could've worn it with my lover, we would shower three or four times a night and I would reapply, before touching up my makeup. So if you see this and recognise me you'll know, and I hope you'll be happy for me. Even though I was very lonely on the path down to the beach wearing this, listening to Die Antwoorth lyrics 'no one knows me, no one cares, I'm in the sand and nobydy stares, they don't know I'm a millionaire' (from memory), I can't use what's left in the bottle because it gives me joy, optimism, lust for life and love again. It has to be effortlessly earned. Your pain will evaporate faster than the contents in this bottle when you reserve it for those special moments. Great for elevating the mood, it smells a bit like a fantasy champagne.

Definitely a love for me! I just received my bottle from France, and what a beautiful perfume! it is like intoxicating, not in a heady in your face way, more in a refined sensuous clean warm way..the notes blend in so beautifully..I detect the mandarin, it is like so closely interwined with floral notes, I detect the sandalwood and the laddanum..truly a feminine, attractive creation..it doesnt project strongly, but there is a smooth vibrancy in this..so happy to own this, it is a distinctive scent, you wont smell it on everybody..my husband thinks it smells ravishing. I think while wearing this, people will think you smell really good! I feel just good wearing Serpent Boheme..it represents well the exotic stylish jewelry it takes its name after, nothing overdone, just a hint of mystery. I will add I love the classy bottle.

This is exactly what I imagine a rich lady doctor would wear. I love wearing this in the daytime with my wardrobe (all black, lots of Allsaints) for the contrast between classic/reserved/pretty and modern and asymmetrical. I blind bought this for bottle and name alone, hoping for something more mysterious and bohemian. This isn't that, and I normally hate anything citrus, but this is dangerously close to becoming a signature scent. It's a non-offensive (but still beautiful) rose floral with a little citrus sharpness and a hint of citronella. Self-assured but reserved, wealthy, scholarly. I wish the longevity was better, but it won't stop me from repurchasing: sometimes I love smelling like I play a doctor on TV.

This fragrance is very elegant, it is bright without being overbearing, and it settles into a rosey citrus. This was a blind buy for me, I love Boucheron fragrances; mainly due to their multi layer and cohesive fragrance profiles. I was expecting something a bit different, mostly because of the name. The name does not suited it at all. I do love the bottle though, and it feels good in the hand. All in all I’m very pleased with this and it is one of my go to fragrances, especially in warmer weather.

So this was my latest purchase - it was LOVE at first smell. So unique, so sexy. Fresh, citrusy but still has something musky and floral about it. I can smell the orange, but it is not very strong. For me this is the scent of this year. I love it very much! I am confident when I am wearing this. However, I am very disappointed with the longevity. I have Quatre from Boucheron, which I could smell even the next day, but this one is very weak, no one even noticed on me. :(
