Trouble Eau Légère

I just got this after regretting swapping away my 2 EDP a while back. This is WONDERFUL!!! As already stated it is a lighter more sparkly version of the original. But on my skin this way better. There was something in the original that kept me from really loving it. (Prob why it got swapped) it was lovely but a bit somber and formal. Not my style. But this eau legere is updated, fresher yet still formal but also sexy in not such an uptight way. I loved that as it evolved it seem to grow and all the notes just worked for me. All night I kept getting this sweet vanillic citrus waft pass my nose. Aahhh nice!!!

I like the EDP but I prefer the lighter version. Actually the bottle I own is "trouble eau legere nacree", not listed here in fragrantica yet. It opens very lemony but it is still mysterious and elegant like the original one.

My nickname is trouble..... This was a blind buy for me. It is 108 degrees out and the last thing I wanted was a warm, amber scent to test today. Let’s just say, I was pleasantly surprised upon first spray. I compared the bright and sparkling Legere opening to the original Trouble, which for me is a cool weather only......night time fragrance because it screams, “I am the SSSSSS in Sexy””. The Legere bergamot is more fizzy, and lighter while the lemon in the original is more rich and heavier when combined with Amber, but not “heavy” if you know what I mean. The legere is not woody, but the original is, and this lightens it up significantly. Both are beautiful. One says, “Here I am, and I am not sure you deserve me because I am HOT”, while the legere says, “Yes, I am here, but you have to chase me” - it is more subtlety enticing. It is both warm and smoldering, yet has a cool, aloof side that grabs attention. The original is a wild fire, sexy, thick, darker, creamier and still with a touch of sweetness, but says, “You don’t have to chase me because I am full grown woman and you are lucky to smell me!”. The original has more attitude. While Trouble smells fabulous, it is more heavy. The legere is much lighter, however I still feel, not to be worn on the hot summer days, but more appropriate for the warm summer evenings while out and about. You can get away with legere in summer....at night, but in my opinion, with the Amber note, a summer day does not enhance it. It is still too sexy for day IMO, and hot weather does not flatter it IMO. The original is good for winter and fall. Legere is spring and summer...at night. For my summer days, I break out my woodsy tea fragrances, my fresh and salty scents, my niche lily of the valley scents, my Petite Cherie, my aquatics, and my Hermes jardin line. Bottom line......I will wear these gorgeous scents when I am more likely to get in trouble....at night!

02.december 2015 I was lucky enough to get a 100ml new and sealed bottle of this beauty today and it didnt cost me an arm and leg. Mine says "Trouble eau legere 2006 limited edition, can be worn in the sun". What can i say? When i first opened it and smelled the nozzle i smelled a faint unimpressive flowery smell, which must be a trace of lotus or just nothing, because it was actually sealed and never used. So i was bit frustrated that i might bought it for all the wrong reasons. But when i made a first wrist test all my doubts were gone: this IS the one!! It smells just like a more citrusy and less vanillic version of those summer "Cinema" flankers by YSL. Needless to say i love them all. I like the original Trouble EDP as well, however to me it is bit too cloying. This version is just perfect for all reasons. I smell mainly bergamote and a hint of vanilla and amber. No need to write a poem, just smell this beauty and the words are needless. To me this smells very high end and stylish, without crossing line of cheap glamour. Sillage is moderate and lasting power is up to 5 hrs. Im sold!

Does what it says on the tin: Trouble Light. One of the few legere versions to be true to its word. If you like Trouble but find it too deep, dark & voluble then try this version. It has an airiness (original devotees may say hollowness, perhaps due to the lotus) that gives you the space to breathe...the citrus lift heralds the entrance of the warm vanilla-amber, a thinner version than before but with the same candy appeal. There seems to be a race to the base notes, which is where TL sits happily, prettily, sweetly for some hours. Ah, sweet nothings. When I compare them wrist-to-wrist the original wins hands (wrists) down for me. It is rich, daring, deep & unashamedly wicked - a bold beauty on a night out. A babe with balls. TL is like the soft, innocent trace of her left on the pillow when the make-up, attitude & drama-queen heels are removed. Underneath, the tigress is a kittenish pussycat.
