Mon Amour

This one pleasantly surprised me. I just received the classic set from bourbon French and thought I would like this one the least. I’m not big on sweet fruity florals, but this has so much depth and is gorgeous. It reminds me a bit of the original lolita lempicka, but this is her darker, edgier but also more classic older sister. Powdery, dark cherry blossom sweetness, and maybe a little bit of almond on a lux, smooth base of amber and dark musk. My aunt thinks it smells similar to the classic formula of Samsara, which she wore a lot when o was a kid.

This is really nice. I ordered a bunch of Bourbon French fragrances at once and I noticed that they smell almost nothing like they do in the bottle. They all smell really similar until they're on my skin, then they really bloom. Mon Amour is soft and sweet and if I had to pick something it's similar to, I would say Amber Romance from VS. Definitely not a dupe but it's in the same family. Really nicely blended. Not too much of anything.

Purchased from their discovery set "Bourbon French Collection," on paper and on skin this immediately reminds me of Victoria's Secret Amber Romance, just like the previous review mentions. A well-balanced amber that is neither too powdery nor woody. I don't explicitly smell any cherry but it blends well to sweeten up this second-skin scent.

Was looking for a new signature scent while in New Orleans. Immediately fell in love with this one and will be getting a full bottle. Very boozy, cherry and vanilla amber makes me feel like I spent the night on Bourbon Street and brings me back every time.

This is kind of a musky version of the classic Jergen’s scent. It’s more musky/powder than cherry for sure. Not unpleasant but not my preferred type of scent. Will probably use for bed or times when I want a shower-fresh type of scent.

Simply vanilla with a hint of light white musk. No amber. No cherry. Very disappointed. Light.

Very sweet, very vanilla at first spritz. This reminds me of something, but so far I cannot think of it. When I do, I will come back and let you know. I think this is going to be good, but I just sprayed it. I can't wait for the dry down as I love powdery and musk. I'm back; this reminds me of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. I checked and the main notes are pretty much the same. I think I like this better as it seems to be heavier and is staying around longer than Cashmere Mist (at least on me).
