Clin d'Oeil Sweet Kiss

"The delicious 'top secret' recipe that no boy can resist ....." Hmmm, this delightful sentence is written on the back of the Sweet Kiss perfume box and it's an indication of the kind of age group this fragrance is perfect for! This was a blind buy for me though so I didn't realize quite how much this smells like something a girl in the 8-12'ish age range might love until it arrived this morning! Having said that, it's not a bad perfume at all but just a VERY young smelling one. It reminds me very much of some yummy strawberry & cream candies and when I first sprayed it on I felt like a little girl who'd been eating way too much candy and who had the residue all over her face and hands! Still, despite the fact that I feel way too mature to be wearing this kind of scent I do kinda like it! It's totally not the right kind of scent to wear in a business environment (certainly not in a board meeting or whatever, if you want people to take you seriously!!) or perhaps in any other formal situation but I think it's fine as a fun, jeans & T-shirt kind of scent, perhaps on a warm day with the sun shining and blue skies! It's lasted for many hours on my skin too so the staying power is pretty good for such a sweet, girly scent. So, actually I'm quite happy with this blind buy and it was available on one of the British websites at such a good price it was worth taking a chance on it!

It's another one of Bourjois very girlish fragrances, for romantic teenagers, modern princess, loving Jane Austen's novel kind of girls, waiting for a prince on a white horse to come. If the prince happens to have a car or a bike (even a scooter would do), that's even better. It is surely romantic, not amazing, not very distinctive, but purely pleasant. I liked the vanilla note her, it blends nicely with raspberry and floral notes. I only wonder why the review says it was presented last year, since it was on the market for at least two three years, unless you mean introduced to this website.

I just love this perfume that I used like 3 bottles already :P This really sweet perfume is like a sort of "love potion" ;) Got a lot of compliments when I used to wear it.. But I can't seem to find this perfume anywhere now.. Has it been discontinued or something? I would love to own another bottle :/
