Coco Cream

The fluffiest, creamiest coconut scent ever. It's sweet, Light, airy, and thoroughly without complexity, which isn't necessarily a bad thing ! Super soft and inoffensive. I brought my travel size to work to show my coworker who also loves fragrance and she hunted me down later that day because she forgot what it was called lol. It breaks my heart even more to say that this perfume has no lasting power at all. I can smell it on my skin and clothes for all of 30 minutes, but I love it so much I keep using it anyways. Definitely the fastest I've ever finished a travel size bottle before. Lovely to spray before bed as well.

i think this has bad reviews only because people are upset about the rebrand. this is a sweet, sugary, gourmand coconut. it’s a coconut cream pie and i LOVE it. it’s not sunscreeny at all. if you like bath and body coconut milkshake you’ll loveeee this. when i first sprayed it i smelled praline but it’s probably the tonka. i smell no florals at all (thank god). the longevity is really good and the price point is good, the ugly bottles are finally gone so idk why people are so upset ab it lol. if you like a sugary and sweet fragrance i highly recommend this

I think this smells incredible. It opens with a very creamy coconut that I feel is rounded out/tamed by very delicate white florals. I don't really get tonka bean at all and the vanilla is subtle for me too. Mostly, this comes off as a creamy, coconut-ty, "your skin but better" musky scent. Even tho they don't list ambergris I think this smells pretty salty but maybe it's just my skin. Smells like you put a creamy coconut lotion on and then started to sweat a little bit but a clean sweat. Smells very alluring.

Perfect option for those posts on TikTok that say “I want a fragrance that smells like:” 🍦🥥🌴🍨☀️🏖️ it’s a great simple gourmand coconut scent that works well layered with other scents. To me it smells like a coconut forward vanilla with a slight sunscreen smell. Imagine someone who naturally smells good after being out in the sun all day that used a coconut shampoo or something. Like a beautiful natural baddie on an island with long curly hair that you get a whiff of Everytime she moves her head.

It’s soft, delicate, warm and cozy despite being a summer scent. My nose doesn’t pick up on any sunscreen, just sweet milky coconut and airy vanilla. It’s a nice summer gourmand because it’s soft enough that it won’t be cloying or overpowering. Some fragrances can make me nauseous easily if I wear them and keep smelling them all day, but I don’t see that happening with this one. Definitely a new favorite for me and possibly a signature scent for summer!

It layers well. I thought I would love it on its own but didn’t though I do love it when layered. Smells kinda like fake, cheap coconut but has a nicer dry down.

Makes me think of summer and holidays and now I'm sad that it's cold and miserable outside 9/10

Sampled, it's candy-sweet sunscreen-ish (in a good way, without plastic-ness) creamy coconut. More gourmand than beachy, which is real nice. I actually really like it, yummm

love a good summer scent that smells like the beach and sunscreen. I’m still deciding whether or not this is a special scent or too similar to others on the market.

Starts out very sweet and creamy, the dry down is a soft musk with woody coconut notes. It’s feels very light and young, not over powering at all.

it was a little too beachy/sunscreen at first but then it grew on me. still not entirely sweet coconut like i was hoping but it’s alright!

To me, the coconut is giving more creamy dessert than sunscreen. This is absolutely fine.

The tonka is really strong in this. It reminds me almost exactly of this (now discontinued) bath and body works scent called vanilla mocha martini. It also had a strong tonka bean note and these are almost bang on. Oddly, my skin doesn’t pull much coconut or tiare — only in the opening. Once that tonka comes through, it permeates the entire composition. I like tonka, but not enough to justify owning this. Might be a skin chemistry issue, but i could see someone else liking this.

I had high hopes for this but I don’t get the appeal. It smells like coconut - that’s it. Waxy or kind of plasticky coconut. I don’t get any vanilla at all. I get an occasional slight hint of white flowers as it starts to dry down but then it disappears. It’s not sweet or creamy/lactic and I don’t get any vanilla at all. To me it smells just like SDJ 39 does on me. It isn’t an offensive smell, but not unique and there’s no depth to it to me.

Creamy and comforting. Feels like you're showered and warm in bed during a summer vacation about to go out for a casual dinner. The problem I have with this perfume lies in the milk note. Read someone describe this stuff smells like baby puke and I couldn't get past that, they we're kind of right. I wish the florals were a bit more present to add a bit more freshness.

I had high hopes for this as I’ve been searching for a creamy gourmand coconut fragrance, unfortunately this just ain’t it for me. This is giving sun tan lotion and plastic. It’s ok, but it’s just okay. It’s nothing spectacular. The bottle is lowkey fugly too.

A very linear, sweet vanilla coconut scent. It leans a little artificial for my taste and if I spray too much it can be cloying.

Upon initial spray it’s a sweet coconut milk, airy and light. Very pleasant. I’m super sensitive to musks, amber and florals. This doesnt have any of those notes. So I always gravitate towards light wearing scents that need to be touched up after 4-5 hours. However after spraying, this scent barely lasts an hour! I tried to using it to layer but it really doesn’t last. I even tried it for under a month, up until my last day able to return. But still the same lasting power. Disappointing as I was excited for this as a milky coconut scent lover. I’d rather pay for Le Mond Gourmond Lait de Coco or Phlurs Heavy Cream, both for $25 and lasts way longer than this one.

I completely agree that this is similar to SDJ 39. Not quite as decadent but it's simple, sweet, and coconut cakey. The floral element takes a back seat. Unfortunately it has a certain green stemmy quality to it that I dislike, so this isn't my fave.

i didn’t totally hate the smell of this but all i could think of was sunscreen whenever i smelled it so it got ruined really quick. but i gave it to my coworkers and she gets a lot of compliments on it ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄

Blind bought a travel size and don't like it at all - I love coconut fragrances but my nose hates this. It's giving me similar vibes to Mancera Coco Vanille and Holidays, they were scrubbers too

Promising at first, but the more it dries the more it smells like medicine. This doesn't smell like sunscreen at all. It comes off a bit rancid and idk what note is making it that way.

NOT FOR SENSITIVE NOSES! I’ve been looking for a subtle, creamy coconut scent to wear for the summer. Unfortunately this is NOT it. While the scent notes meet all the criteria I usually love, it has a sharp quality that attacks the nose and throat. I sprayed ONE spritz on my inner arm, and it immediately triggered my asthma which has NEVER happened with a perfume before. I’ve had a headache ALL DAY because of it. I’ve tried washing and scrubbing it off FIVE different times—with soap, cleansers, face wipes, jojoba oil, and I STILL SMELL IT. Talk about eternal. It lacks distinction and doesn’t smell like cream or coconut, more like a cheap spicy body spray. I keep trying Boy Smells candles and perfumes and I don’t know why because they always disappoint.

The initial spray is intoxicating. It is a sweet creamy coconut grounded by a beautiful flowery note. The dry down however is a sharp flowery room freshener. The cream completely disappears and the coconut takes a back seat. I love when perfume tells a story, and this one certainly does. However, the end of this story is disappointing at best unimiginative at worst.

I made the mistake of spraying my arm with this in Sephora; I love coconut perfumes and really wanted to try it. But now I find I have somehow accidentally spilled plug-in coconut vanilla air freshener all over my arm, and it’s too strong to wash off, and I now regret my life choices!!!

Does Boy Smells understand the difference between top notes and base notes??? I don't think so! This gives coconut from start to finish, it's not a top note!!! It has to be a base note, or perhaps this fragrance is linear, and so I don't get why they list top, middle, and base notes for a linear fragrance!!! Coconut is strongly present the entire wear... Edit 10/10/25: Wow. So... I write these reviews for myself, to come back to and remember the experience. So that I have an easier time deciding which of my testers I'm going to wear that day (I have so many, and the bottles look the same so this helps me keep them straight and ultimately decide if I want to redeem my discount and buy a full bottle), but this review isn't descriptive at all!! Sorry y'all! Gonna have to wear it again and elaborate. But I'm guessing what happened is that I saw coconut listed as a top note, and got excited that it would disappear in the dry down/wear (as top notes do), but then got MAD cuz... NOPE! Well.. I guess it is helpful bc I can tell it's not FB worthy as a coconut hater, unless this was the exception... TBD, cuz today is not a day I want to smell like a coconut.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Boy Smells fragrances, but unfortunately, this new formula really missed the mark for me. The scent faded within 30 minutes on clothing and there’s a plasticky, synthetic after-scent that lingers in an unpleasant way. It felt very faint overall without much personality. I previously owned Rose Load, which had incredible sillage and longevity, so I was expecting something similar. Sadly, this one felt more like lightly scented water and lacked the depth or character I associate with Boy Smells. It almost comes across as trying too hard to capture that Sol de Janeiro vibe without fully committing to its own identity.

Creamy coconut and vanilla, entering the gourmand territory as it reminds me of a coconut dessert. Not at all sunscreen-y or beach-y. No prominent floral notes, but I feel like the tiara does play a minor role as I get a creamy white floral nuance to elevate this. Overall, it's Blended well, a crowd pleaser, not groundbreaking as it's another typical vanilla coconut. Also, not a scent category I typically go for as coconut can smell like plastic on my skin.

You know those years where everyone smelled like The Body Shop's coconut butters and lotions and creams and you wished they made a perfume that captured that fresh, coconut scent? Well this isn't it. This is harsh, and reminiscent of off brand sunscreen you regret buying in an economical one litre pump bottle.

You know those times when everyone else smells something you clearly don’t? Yeah, unfortunately I don’t smell a delicious coconut cream dessert like everyone else. This smells like waxy, artificial, boring coconut & tiara flower alcohol to me. And not boozy alcohol either. Nope.
