Rosy Cheeks

This is nowhere near as revolutionary or adventurous of a fragrance as the brand's original scents - that much is true. That said, does that make this any less of an enjoyable fragrance? I don't think so. It's a fun, bright, Lip Smackers-adjacent ode to a Y2K smellscape brought into 2025 rather nicely. It's a fruitier, juicier take on rose; the rose is actually nowhere near as overpowering as rose can sometimes lean on me, and I think that it comes out favorably when I compare it against Rose Load from the original BS line, even though they are two very different scents all together. I wish the jammy berry/pomegranate open lasted a bit longer on me, but in the dry down it comes back a bit rather than just turning into a total one-note amber/sandalwood snooze fest of a finish. It serves the exact purpose I wanted it to in my fragrance wardrobe: these are for days that you want to live, breathe, and smell like magenta, like the Barbie movie soundtrack.

Y’all need to calm down about the bottle redesign. I think it’s incredibly cute in a 3D cartoon, perfume bottle in Sims build mode kind of way. It’s giving digital Barbie. I’m here for it Now onto the juice. Rosy Cheeks opens with a burst of fruit with the that blackcurrant pomegranate red berry trio. It’s tangy, tart, and borderline flirty. and somehow it smells... pink? in the best way? the rose is petal-soft, and glowy, like flushed cheeks after laughing too hard. sandalwood and amber are grounding without being heavy, and smooth without trying too hard. This fragrance poccesses a quiet confidence, like someone who doesn’t need to raise their voice to be heard. 🌹

so nostalgic and reminiscent of dylan purple by versace. juicy, tart, shampoo -- and the perfect amount of what I think is sandalwood and I can seriously smell the orchid! very pretty and fun and flirty

Fruity, fresh, and fun. This is a safe everyday wear fragrance that doesn't get old

Roseberry with a hint of amber & sandalwood. The well-balanced and blended notes contribute to a unique and distinctive character. Rose, slightly-sweet/ jammy, fruity, ambery, woody, and cutesy. Good sillage and longevity. I'm intrigued by the sweet accord present here, it's hard to decide whether the rose-amber or the rose-berry combination is the primary contributor.....either way it's a well made young jammy amberwood rose.

I've been waiting for this to be posted here! I actually really like it, even though I'm not usually into rose scents. Usually they're a bit too powdery but this one definitely isn't. It's a very fruity/jammy and dewy rose that's just sweet enough. I don't get any of the sandalwood personally, but the more it dries down I do get some vanilla and amber. It may not be the most complex, but it's a nice everyday scent

Jammy, delicious, sweet rose. Slightly tart. A tiny bit shampooey but it doesn't cross over into a soapy realm. I'd agree that there's an underlying lipstick note in it, but I don't mind it! And as a certified sandalwood hater, I am not bothered at all by it in this scent. I find this cheerful, youthful, and flirty.

This is nice flirty rosy scent . It’s very fruity and juicy . Nothing revolutionary but it does smell nice and if you’re a fan of fruity rose fragrances then I would consider this a safe blind buy .

The base notes come on very strong on my skin. Love this, but ig because of my disposition with this scent i don't consider it a summer fragrance. It's more like a cute library date in november.

Sweet gourmand-rose scent. Kinda reminds me of the petal tea cake by bbw. I like it a lot more than I thought I would. That being said, I would buy a travel spray rather than a full size bottle

it’s a likable, safe, rosy-fruity-slightly woody from the sandalwood. while pleasant, it smells like something already on the market.

I feel like this is pretty wearable and fresh. It’s light, fruity, and floral. it’s a cute little bubble bath in a bottle.

$70 for a BBW fruity body spray scent. I guess it has better longevity.

I wanted to love this but it's just not that great! Boring, generic, and average performance. There are soooo many other fragrances that do far more justice to rose notes and the "woody/fruity" category. Also, all of Boy Smell's sandalwood scents give me dill pickle screechiness in the dry down, and this one is no exception.

Smells like a nice shampoo/conditioner. Nothing wrong with it, but also doesn't need to exist.

Juicy, very light, and smells like Merry Pom from VS Pink.

Woody vanilla rose with a real Macy's counter undertone. Inoffensive but not particularly compelling.

This is a very jammy rose, similar to Spice Must Flow by Etat, but soapier, and lacking a grounding element. It’s quite literal, like a scoop of rose jam you might put in your tea. Perhaps it’s the pomegranate note I’m detecting, it’s so subtle, synthetic like a wax candle, and well blended to the rose it creates this scent illusion. In between, you can detect the woody notes, like finely ground wood dust, not just shavings. I wish there was a green, incense, or other grounding note to make this fragrance more complex. I like the concept of it, but it’s just TOO jammy to the point it’s cloying. I keep sniffing it, wanting to love it, and feeling repulsed by the gummy sweetness.
