Sugar Baby

I was really surprised by how much I like this fragrance. My sister and I were trying out random scents in Sephora and I ended up getting a small size of this; I adore it, in the bottle and on my skin both. For me, the sugar cube smell is the most forthcoming, but it’s not a sharp, crystalline sugar scent—it’s more of a spun sugar, like a flavorless cotton candy. Very “puffy,” almost; it’s cloudy, maybe even a little heady, like a silk-robed gentlewoman in a smoky parlour giving a long exhale of some heavily-dosed pipe of tobacco and opium. Not that I get those notes, specifically, but it evokes an incredibly dizzying, romantic, yet almost unsettling musky sweetness. I suppose this is more of a generic scent than some others I’ve tried (most recently I’ve been wearing Imaginary Authors’ “The Language of Glaciers,” which is delightfully off-putting and enticing in equal measures), but I still find it somewhat unusual. It almost evokes a sugar-coated spiderweb in my mind. I will say, I don’t get any citrus (I was shocked to see that this allegedly has a grapefruit note?) and only the faintest honeysuckle. It’s almost pure hazy sugary musk for me. That said, I do really enjoy this scent. I look forward to wearing it particularly in creepy, chilly early winter months.

Im a gourmand girlie through and through, but this is one of the most unexpected LOVES I’ve ever encountered. ‘Sugar Baby’ is a simple classic composition thats so perfectly sweet you’ll want to grab for it day after day. My partner actually bought this for himself but I just fell head over heels on his first few wears. We think our appreciation for ‘Sugar Baby’ stems from the striking resemblance it has to one of our favorites, Ellis Brooklyn’s ‘Vanilla Salt.’ Regardless, sugared musks and florals isn't really our forte, but the blend is just that perfect. I adore how the sparkling Grapefruit accent zings this up and doesn't take away from the other delicate notes in the DNA. Delicate and airy, but still impressively endures full 8hr work days for me. This is routinely on sale for under $40, but rumor is thats because its being discontinued. I’ve no exaggeration purchased all 5 of mine on TikTok for only $20 per bottle, taxed and shipped. Amazing value and effortless giftability 😇

I always avoided buying from this brand because I don't like their name. Honestly I kind of hate it and I hope they rebrand. But ultimately a name doesn't impact how good their fragrances are. I saw Sugar Baby on sale and the notes sounded really nice so I went ahead and bought it. I loveee this perfume. It's sweet and sugary and citrusy, balanced with an initial floral freshness that dries down to a sweet, sticky musk. It doesn't smell plastic-y to me, but I suppose there's a synthetic quality to it. I find it to be uplifting and I just keep spraying it just to smell it, even when I'm not wearing it. It seems to last decently well, too. I really hope it's not actually being discontinued! It's not the most incredible perfume ever made or anything but for whatever reason I REALLY like it Edit: I got the full size from TT shop for like $30 but it's OOS on there now. I think it really is being discontinued :(

I am in LOVE with Sugar Baby! It’s a sweet fruity floral with a bit of spice from the Lily. It just smells so amazing with my body chemistry. I sometimes find certain fragrances with honeysuckle to lean a bit sharp or sour but not this one! I personally find it to be a unique scent. I have tried hundreds of perfumes and there isn’t anything I could really compare it to. I love that Sugar Baby lasts almost all day on my skin and even longer on clothes. I also think it would be great for any season.

sweet & fresh with a hint of warmth, very nice for spring and some summer days when is fresher! the initial spray is a tiny bit spicy but floral, then you get the citrusy and cleanness of it almost as shampoo-y in a very nice way. and for the dry down you get all the sweetness plus white flowers. very nice & feminine ✨
