This becomes a beautiful labdanum rich, earthy, slightly medicinal, herbal coca-cola on my skin. What a pleasure to smell such high quality, real ingredients artistically crafted with a naturalistic flourish. Obsessed.

The opening of this is quite rough for me. It’s a strange fennel mixed with other herbs and plants, that frankly I find smells like cat pee and unwashed body parts. Not pleasant at all. But that calms down after a while, then the labdanum comes to the fore and it morphs into a scent of wood shavings and salty amber. The fennel is still there kind of tying the whole fragrance together, but now it’s more of a softened anise that blends perfectly with the other notes. The labdanum in this is noticeably high-quality and natural smelling, so this is worth trying just for the labdanum alone, especially if you are a fan at amber fragrances or labdanum as a note. I know Amber is way down low on the note pyramid, but to me it’s really noticeable and I find similarities with fragrances such as Amber Sultan from Serge Lutens. I like Muga from this line a little better, but in this you can also feel the passion the brand has for the landscape that surrounds them and the care and reverence that goes into the process their creation.

These are etheric essences !! Wow.. I am absolutely delighted with the density and durability of this fragrance. And I'm sure all Bravanariz fragrances are worth their money. (Sometimes I have to smile when I read about the mental effects of individual scent notes, whereby, of course, smells absolutely contribute to (well) being). But today you rarely find such natural ingredients as here. (With regard to civet, musk, beaver horn etc. I am also very happy, I would like to emphasize that) !! So if you like pure nature and find a creation with your favorite notes ~ definitely try it ;-)

Smells like straight fennel/licorice - I actually find this quite enjoyable, but it's not something I'd want to wear in public. Like a piece of art I love but wouldn't decorate my house with.

Holy s***. This will clear up a cold real quick. Bracing medicinal aromatic with pronounced rosemary and fennel alongside the pine, mint and sage. It's a poultice made by an old school witch. This is Strega Nona's scent.
