Opens with a green, bitter, camphorous, deep forest smell which then gives way a earthy cypress note. As it dries down this Is followed by a dry chamomile and immortelle smokey air. Sweet, calming, hay, tobacco and honey. This scent is a brush with the Spanish countryside in spring. Its not a romance, it contains a melancholy aloofness at its heart. This is a reflective scent for when you want to be transported into the isolation of a wild landscape, lying on your back, watching the clouds float by.

This is ridiculously good. Super naturalistic landscape scent. You can really feel/smell the reverence and passion for the Spanish countryside that the brands espouses. I got the Bravanariz sample set and this was by far my favorite from it. Got the 10ml rollerball and I think it’s better in this format than the spray for whatever reason. Not as dank or heavy or earthy as Sloth by zoologist, but I get why people make the comparison.

Super outdoorsy, herbal pine needles and lavender. Smells like the American southwest, scrubby desert plants. There’s a slight culinary hint to this as well, I’m guessing the rosemary. I’m not sure how wearable it is given how sharp all the ingredients are, but it is one hell of a comforting, immersive scent. It’s like hiking in cedar trees, so nostalgic.

Magical and unique perfume. Best performance in a natural perfume, last for hours (and I have bad skin in that sense) with a sweet chamomile ending. Smells like splashing with agrestic and sweet herbs with no off-notes. Better than other Immortal-based scents over there.

Testing on my skin (as always) on a hot day. This opens beautifully - rich yet clean, natural aromatics - Cypress, chamomile, minty lavender. I also smell the labdanum in the base almost immediately. High quality, European mens grooming products - he's clean shaven, fresh from the bathroom and ready for the day - but it's hot, hard work he has to do (hay and horses) and within ten minutes the aromas turn warm and dry, dusty cumin begins to come forward - immortelle is Curry Plant here, no maple syrup to be found, in fact very little sweetness at all. Twenty minutes in and the cumin is humming - with some soft lavender around the edges and dried chamomile creating gentle hay and light tobacco aromas. I think that the rosemary is serving to bend the immortelle into its savoury character. Still, I don't find it culinary, I'm definitely outdoors in the hot, dry countryside where the aromatic, herbal scrub is being crushed under-hoof. (In the cool, on paper and fabric the aromatic opening lasts longer and there remains a subtle, honey like sweetness throughout the life of the perfume. There is more cypress and less cumin). I wouldn't wear this in hot weather, on skin or clothing, as the heat seems to dial the curry-like aspect up too high for me (I will test it again in the Autumn to see how it unfolds in cooler weather). I do like it very much though and find it fascinating to smell such realistic immortelle. I look forward to trying more from this intriguing house.

Very poetic, very natural smelling fragrance and wanderlust in a bottle! The olfactory equivalent of a descent from a cool, shaded evergreen forest into a sunlit meadow with dried grass and wild flowers. The transformation this fragrance goes through is quite remarkable; from an icey, resinous blast of coniferous air filled with notes of pine, mint and soil, towards a warm dry down with chamomile, immortelle and a whiff of sweet lavender. From green to aromatic, from cold to comfort. Very niche, eco friendly, sustainably sourced (like hand-picked in the forest!) and uncompromising in its naturalness. A little treasure.....

Dried orange peel, orange scented black tea, cut cypress branches. Very resinous and raw. After a bit the chamomile shines through as the scent turns a bit more bright and herbal. I'm starting to really like it now. I'm also getting something that resembles dried black fruits. A slight earthy sweetness. The cypress shines throughout. A very boots on the ground in a coniferous forest type of scent. Under the trees darkness lurks and gives you a slight feel of unease as you turn towards a narrow overshadowed trail. Wild chamomile adorns a sunny patch.

Silent sexuality? Bees buzzing? Serenity? I must have gotten a mislabeled sample pack because nothing what I'm smelling leads me to think any of this. Unpleasant.
