Agaressence

I love this! It strongly reminds me of Bond No 9 New York for Her. It has the same sexy sweet floral, slightly fruity with a hint of musky aroma. I get a faint candy smell in the beginning, but then it distinguishes itself as all that is woman as it cooks and develops, becoming a feminine floral fruity, without the artificial teenage effect that the Escadas create on me. I already have a full bottle coming! Also Indiescents has great prices on Brecourt frags. No problems with the shipping or the frag so it's somewhere else to check when you're looking to buy. I usually go with ebay, luckyscents, amazon or the perfumeur themselves, but with Brecourt Indiescents has the best price, FYI.

There is a little to almost no aoud for me in this perfume, but I can't say I'm extremely sad about that. On me Agaressence opens with this sweet syrupy plum + saffron combo, this kind of sweetness might set someone off, but I find it rather enjoyable even though sniffing the wrist closely is a bit headache inducing. After the first hour or so I do start to get some flowers (mostly rose, no tuberose for me), but it still keeps being dominated by the syrup which I encountered at the start. A decant perfume, might be a winner for many, but as for me - even though I do enjoy this, the sweetness is a bit too much and I believe one could easily get bored and/or sick with this rather soon.

I love it, it's one of my favorite perfumes! On me it lasts very long and has a very good sillage, which is weird because perfumes tend to vanish on my skin. It's lush, sensual, sophisticated and oddly comforting. I smell mostly the saffron and the sandalwood, while the other notes blend comfortably in the background.

Today, ftuit go-go! For lovers of the fruity genre it is an excellent fragrance, well mixed with tuberose scents. Pleasant.

I agree with moraine in that it does remind one of JC Juicy Couture or even Viva la Juicy... I got my sample from indiescents where they list the notes slightly different as follows: Saffron, black current, pink peppercorn, oudh, rose, tuberose, amyris, cipriol and gurjum.. (making me have to look up a few things!) Cipriol: Cypriol nagarmotha essential oil is utilized in perfumes or bases of the woody, oriental type for a foresty note. (assuming it is the same as Cipriol here) so perhaps moraine is getting this note as a fixative for the balsam note of gurjum in the concoction? For me though, its all about the plum and the tuberose. I think I do like this. But I tire of tuberose easily. I am also getting a nice rose which I usually steer clear of by about a million miles in my perfumes as it gives me a headache... but not so this rose. All in all I'll put this on my list of "I like it" and wear it til my nice sized sample is gone. If I miss it, I'll probably only get another sample again somewhere down the road. I love too many other perfumes to justify the big bottle at this time.
