Brioni Man Eau de Parfum

Received it as Birthday present. In my opinion this Parfum belongs to the category woody ultra male fragrances. Very sophisticated never too much. For the audience who like woody notes this juice is a no brainer. Niche quality and performance. 10/10* Wearable for every occasion. It does not matter if it's a wedding, meeting in the office or a date night. This friend will perform every time.

Class in a bottle. The zesty lemon blended with the light Violet and magnolia with a nice safrony-woody base. Very nice signature worthy scent.

Beautiful lemon 🍋 The type of lemon that you get in Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, without the generic “men’s scent” base.

Non-descript fresh/soft florals over a non-descript synthetic creamy saffron base (but even if non-descript, it saves a bit this fragrance). I wish I could write a 3-page review, but unfortunately that's pretty much all this fragrance inspires me. D&G Pour Homme sells that scent profile as lemon+lavender+tobacco, and Brioni here sells it as citrus+iris+oud: the D&G results more soapy, while Brioni is drier, but at the end of the day these 2 play in the same ballpark. Similarities to Oud Wood and Santal33? If any, it is limited to the ubiquitous synthetic woody accord in the base, that many brands use and sell as oud (or sandalwoood, depending of what the marketing requires), and to the fact that both Brioni and OW are designer-quality - that said, I'm not sure why people consider a fragrance similar to OW and S33 just because of a single note... whatever. Overall nice-ish, but don't expect much more than an ok/good mainstream fragrance. Not bad per se, but at ~$2/ml (at discounters) it just shoot way below its price range (I should have undestood it, given all the cheapies with whom this one is being compared to). Still, will do the job as an one-size-fits-all, unoffensive (and unnoticeable) fragrance for office environments, but there are many other better choices in that price range imo. Unfortunately, Max Forti's hype train has again reached its final destination: Disappointment City. Pojection is poor in the first couple of hours, but surprisingly becomes moderate once it heats up. For all these reasons, I cannot recommend it, and will be just an 'ok' in my book. Spring days, 20-50

This smells expensive and regal, just like Brioni’s clothing. I’ve always admired their fine tailoring craftsmanship - their jumpers, hoodies and jackets are impeccable and I enjoy wearing them. This fragrance carries that same sense of refinement. The citrus-floral-oud-ambery blend creates a light, airy yet spicy composition that feels effortlessly elegant and wearable in any season, any day. Brioni should never have discontinued this EDP, it deserved to be a timeless staple. For now, I'll use my small 30ml bottle sparingly until I find a 100ml BUB.
