HIM (His Imperial Majesty) Reserve

I love this stuff, it is fantastic. Has a nice leathery, woody and musky vib with a nice hint of spice. The white bottle version is a lighter fresher scent. I like that one also. They did a great job with these. .

I have both British Sterling Private Stock and Reserve fragrances. While Private Stock isn't necessarily a bad fragrance, it leans more towards a generic shower gel vibe that many other scents exhibit. In contrast, Reserve is much more refined and intriguing. It has a regal gentleman aura that surpasses expectations. The leather, suede, and amber notes are beautifully crafted, creating a warm and approachable scent cloud. I believe this fragrance is underrated and definitely worth exploring. For just $15 for a bottle, it's an incredible value. I highly recommend giving this gem a try.

A nice cheapie to use often and when you need a quick fragrance fix. I like the blend of spices, leather, amber, and the creamy tonka bean. To me this is very amber forward with very little of the citrus or ginger notes but I still love the scent. Yes it’s cheap and performance is what you expect but a nice smooth scent all in all. Kind of a classic gentlemen’s vibe to it too. Good add to the collection and I find it most suitable for cold weather.

HIM is good. It is not a world changer, but smells very good for very little cash. It has leather and spice, fruit and sweet. It is good for work or family gatherings when the summer heat is a memory. It is a safe blind buy, but it is limited slightly by the quality. I do not think it smells expensive, just very nice. A Strong Like for me.

A likeable scent. Not offensive but also not magical. Great for the price point. The ginger and pepper notes are very strong, creating an almost savory scent on the skin. This is balanced out nicely by the citrus. I wish the cactus was more noticeable, but it's not too invisible. Some people might find it a bit generic. Definitely masculine and gentlemanly, but I wouldn't call it imperial or majestic. Sort of a middle-class 1870s Englishman. Nice oriental touch with the spicy notes and the cardamom. You wouldn't be surprised to smell this in an opium den.

#282 in my "Tour de Fragrance" While there certainly is such a thing as an absolute rip-off in the fragrance world (Bond No 9 comes to mind with their overpriced and low-rated offerings where they clearly expend a fortune on packaging and a pittance on oils), you rarely find a true bargain. Other than Reyanne Tradition, which produces bizarrely packaged fragrances that punch well above their price, most bargain-priced fragrances are a complete waste of money, and British Sterling's vaguely leathery/spicy, short lasting, non-projecting H.I.M. is no exception. An instant skin scent, you can bathe in the stuff and only someone who gets their nose in contact with your skin will smell anything. It's pleasant and inoffensive and utterly stealth. You can certainly wear it anyplace and anytime as no one will notice you're wearing it.

A nice leather-and-tonka concoction with a mild cherry essence. My 17 ml bottle has the concentration of a splash, or whatever is less than an EDC. Given the price point and the fragrance this is more than acceptable in my book. This would make a great gift as a starter scent for a young teen or someone that doesn't usually roll with fragrance of any kind. It could also be one of those juices you grab for quick errands when you just want to smell "nice" in a non-descript way, no matter what your age. Not EVERYTHING has to be niche, or some "masterpiece" to challenge your senses and whisk you off to exotic lands unknown. This is your basic workaday mass-market budget scent. At that, it excels. Enjoy.

This one is a winner for sure. It is NOTHING like the original British Sterling, which even fans of scents from years ago can struggle with. British Sterling H.I.M Reserve comes in a beautiful black bottle. The smell is quite contempary. Its sweet sparkling energetic and fresh. It feels so "alive". I dont know which came first, this or Rasasi Daarej, but to me they have a striking similarity. H.I.M. Reserve is more restrained and less sweet, however I prefer the bombast of the Rasasi. H.I.M. Reserve is a great deal and a great fragrance.

I've been banging a lot of cheap frags lately, and have rediscovered how great it is to smell manly again. This one however doesn't give off a very good vibe. It's not barbershoppy or classic or gentlemanly. Not a nostalgic dad's type fragrance. Very cheap garbage.

This Dana cologne is an ignored jewel, with a super fresh opening, a delicious spicy heart, and a sweet tonka & suede "finale fantastico". Recommended!

I bought this perfume 100ml price about 10€.It's very interesting for the cost. It' similar to Joop Jump. Long lasting and good sillage.

I had an Uncle who wore this, nice classic fragrance, very gentleman aura to it.
