Candied Fantasy

Of the Fantasies I have this has became my favorite. I mean, bubble gum, strawberry, & hibiscus, come on, of course I would love it. I love the opening, wish it stuck around longer. The lotv comes through pretty strong giving a fresh soapiness, but the cupcake grounds it. I smell the hibiscus, but the white florals command it. Candy is sweet, with a clean floral musk. The florals keep it from being too juvenile. I mostly wear to bed, I keep the Brits in my bedtime rotation. I find them cozy. I don’t know if I will wear out, it seems that my Brits have found their purpose in my collection. We shall see if that changes. I believe this could be worn year around for me. Nights only in Summer bc of our high heat & humidity or indoors. Candy has a pretty strong projection for a few hours, I can still smell prominently in the mornings from my clothing, my skin will smell sweet & clean. It has lasted about 5 hrs during the day, longer on clothing. I love these Britney perfumes, never thought I would say that. They have surprised me. I never thought I would be buying any celebrity perfumes, but several have surprised me. They are great for everyday wear w/o the worry of breaking the bank. I am about finished buying big hauls of fragrances, one more small one later this year & done. I have most everything I wanted. But I will still be going hunting for Fantasy flankers. 🤭 15/10

I saw this had bubble gum (fav) it was cheap so I took the chance. Oh my I am pleasantly surprised. I got the immediate bubble gum scent but why does go away so soon. It’s the best part! I get cupcake and thank goodness it’s not an overly sweet cupcake. It does dry down to a light floral musky scent. I can tell the projection isn’t that great and most likely not last past 4 hours on skin. So I’m giving hope it does over time but I can tell I most likely will finish this bottle pretty quickly because I do love this one. And I get lots of compliments . I get no headaches or weird off putting notes. It’s just so pleasing to smell on your skin. I saw comparisons to Yara candy and absolutely no resemblance to each other. I have Yara candy and it is very synthetic powdery sour candy that can give you a headache from overspraying. Candied Fantasy smells like a grown up bubble gum cupcake scent. She’s beautiful and dreamy . I’m glad I have her i just wish it lasted longer and projected stronger.I need this in a body oil and lotion. Edit: I really do love this one I put a pretty big dent in my bottle. It might be a forever purchase.

I've been collecting the Fantasy flankers for a few years and I finally found one that knocked Midnight out of 2nd place. The OG has a special place in my heart so it will always be #1. I wasn't expecting much after getting the Electric Fantasy EDT (that one was nice - nothing special and it didn't last on my skin or clothes at all) because Candied Fantasy is also an EDT. Surprisingly I get over 3 hours out of this one. It starts out with a sour bubblegum scent that kind of smells like Watermelon gum from my childhood. That opening doesn't last long but it settles into a pleasant floral, cupcakey scent. Like the OG and Midnight, it still has the Fantasy DNA but it's like a fresher OG - this will probably smell even nice during the warmer months. It's very cold where I live and I suspect that's part of the reason I'm not getting the full effect yet. I've been wearing this fragrance around the house and to sleep - my kids love it which means I get more hugs :) It's really pretty - highly recommend for those who like the OG but want something airier for the warmer months.

instantly became a favorite. something about this is sooooo good to my nose. the sweetness from the bubblegum and cupcake stays for the entire wear. it’s not “in your face” bubblegum/cupcake, it’s balanced out by the musk and wood! the musk and wood keep it from being sickeningly sweet and make it creamy smelling. the florals are there too, but they are in the background on my skin. this is so cozy to me, i am a sucker for scents like this so i might be a bit biased.. but i’m in love. i can’t stop smelling myself whenever i'm wearing this. longevity is good! it lasts around 6-7 hours before it starts to wind down, and after that there’s still a small scent bubble around me. everyone is different.. so this might not be the same for you. i might’ve gotten lucky with my bottle. i haven’t tried this in cooler weather yet, but it smells great during warm spring and summer. can’t wait to try this during the winter! i have a feeling it might become even cozier during cooler weather, especially on a soft sweater or fluffy jacket.

Just received my Amazon order for a 100ml bottle for 39,56€, 24 hours after ordering it! (I live in France). I’m a huge Britney fan and I love 95% of her fragrances and I really wanted to purchase this one since I love gourmand scents. I must say this new Britney perfume smells soooo good!! I’m pleasantly surprised and so happy! It’s sweet, gourmand and floral. I can smell the bubblegum and the strawberry at the first spray, then the florals blend in and give it a light and cosy smell and 1 hour later you are left with a sweet sugary cupcakey smell that makes you feel all young and innocent again. I’m 35 and I love all kind of scents, including teenage scents and this one definitely is more for young girls and preteens. It’s like a Barbie scent or a Lolita scent. I really love it. The OG Fantasy has always been my favorite Britney perfume but this new one is getting real close and has already all my love! Edit : longevity is kinda weak (2 hours max) so you might tend to overspray.

Oh my God this perfume is a dopamine hit. Just saw the new Britney pic with this on the table in the background. She clearly wears her own perfume. I means why wouldn’t she? Her perfumes are top tier. This one really IS Britney Jean Spears. The bubblegum blast in the beginning is genius for this because what do we know about Britney? That girl loves her chewing gum. Iykyk. There’s a sweet and fruity vibe going on in the forefront. It conjures up visions of being a young girl going to the fairgrounds eating strawberry cotton candy. I think this blooms in the cold weather even tho it says it’s tropical in the description. I absolutely love this and I even made a yt video about it. I’m such a Britney fan but even if you aren’t if you’re a frag head you gotta admit that most of her perfumes are so unique and just good. This one is fantastic. Dry down is a deep sandalwood, very cozy very demure. Hit me baby one more time with this. Yum.

I love it! As someone who wore OG Fantasy since the day of its release, i can’t wear it today because it instantly sends me down a memory line of my high school years, and id like to keep it that way. Candied has that syrupy sweet bubble gum sugar opening then it settles to the creamy cupcake OG Fantasy base. A nice new twist while staying true to what made it iconic. It doesn’t smell cheap or young like Pink Sugar and i love that, masterfully blended and smooth while remaining sexy sweet and sparkly. And just like w every other Britney frag, im amazed that this cheapie is nuclear in its longevity and projection, that rivals my $250 bottles of by Kilian. This is going to make a great summer 2025 scent. I'm a big Fantasy fan (though the reformulation of the original is criminal) and have been impressed by many of the numerous flankers, though only kept about 3 in my collection. I tested Canded Fantasy in a store and had to buy it immediately. Upon first spray I get really delicious bubblegum and whipped cream (kinda like bubblegum ice cream!), then this starts to fade after a little while and you are left with a sweet, musky fruity floral on the drydown. Lasts for a long time on clothes, not so long lasting on skin unfortunately, but that's not surprising at this price point. For the price this is a really, really nice sweet scent. I really love it. It's fun and fluffy and pink! If you're looking for Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, this is NOT it, it's a totally different fragrance! But if you like fragrances in the same family, don't let this pass you by!

The bubblegum note is immediately noticeable upon spraying and not a note I'd typically gravitate towards, but it's exceptionally well done here. This fragrance is playful and youthful without being headache-inducing or synthetically sweet. I'm not ashamed of LOVING it as a 41-year-old woman! :) The dry down leans more sophisticated than the original Fantasy, so I like it more. (Perhaps it's the sandalwood?) I'm having a hard time deciding if I like this more than Intimate Fantasy which is one of my go-to nighttime/comfort scents! I also have to disagree with those comparing this to VCRS or one of it's clones. It's safe to say if you like one, you'll enjoy the other, but they smell very different from one another IMO. I snagged a little bottle of this for under $15 at TJ Maxx, and I will undoubtedly be keeping my eyes peeled for a bigger bottle.

First up, it amuses me, the number of people who assume that because this has a "bubble gum" note, then it should reek of a 1950's gumball straight from a coin operated gumball machine. This is far more sophisticated than that. And, if that's what you are after, I recommend trying a craft store with scented oils. Candied Fantasy is a grown up scent that had been beautifully blended. It opens slightly sweet. No, it's not a synthetic bubblegum. It's based on pink flowers, vanilla and a touch of sugar. Dries down to a fresh vanilla with a hint of musk. The longevity is a soft sandalwood and powdery base. The touch of sweetness stays throughout. It really is magically blended. Lasts eternally on my skin, but I did drench myself in it. The bottle is one of my favourites in the whole Fantasy family. It's a fragrance for women, not little girls.

I love this one so much! It could be a bit longer lasting but I don’t mind since it’s not that expensive (100ml bottle cost me about 35€). IMO this is nothing like Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum which I personally don’t like at all. Both of them are sweet and pink but that’s it. Candied Fantasy to me smells a little bit like watermelon at first but very soon all that fades and it lands to that yummy candy fruity Pinky pie fluffyness which I think that the bottle design presents very well. I’m not a big fan of the OG Fantasy but I think the bottle is kind of a kitchy cute and the gradient colouring chosen for the Candied flanker is a spot on. The drydown is powdery and sweet and sits pretty close to the skin. It’s such a comforting scent which you can wear all year around practically where ever you want to 🍬

I will say that I am someone who always sprays multiple times on skin, hair, and clothes. Because of this, my experience is probably different from others. But I will wear this fragrance to work and to bed and I'll still smell it on me hours later or the next morning. I love the bubblegum note, but I do agree that it does not last as long as the others. It still becomes this really fun and sweet scent that I can't get enough of, but it is true that the bubblegum note does not last very long. I can still smell it on myself throughout the day even if others do not smell it. I love pulling this out because of how deliciously sweet and youthful it is, and it has become one of my favorites!

This is my favourite of the fantasy flankers (though admittedly, I've only tried the original Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, Intimate Fantasy, Fantasy sheer and this one) because of its carefreeness but also sophistication. It starts off with a chewy bubblegum, and ends with sandalwood and with a wee bit of its iconic cupcake note. Bubblegum is one of my favourite notes ever, and it is nice to see it being used. However, this is admittedly not for everyone and I would recommend it being tested first since its not a safe buy. If you want a safe buy, fantasy and midnight fantasy are much safer (the latter being reminiscent of premium shampoo).

I don't know what they put in this bottle but I'm hooked. I'm on my second big bottle. It,s so nice..just so pretty. The bubblegum note is stronger in the beginning, then the flowers come trough. I was a bit worried about the jasmine note but I cant detect It. This is so well blended. And even though the bubblegum takes the backseat later, it still works It's magic and it's like this perfume has a touch of fairydust in it. The cupcake comes trough later, it's not strong but it's there. Wellblended and pretty. An easy reach but not boring! Bottle is so pretty and suit this fragrance so well. On me this perfume is not weak, it's moderate.

MY FAV FANTASY FLANKER! Omg this is so sweet and good. It lasts ages on clothes, but it does have low silage. It lasts at most 3 hours ish for me which isn't bad for a fantasy perfume or eu de toilette even. This scent is honestly amazing. On skin, the initial bubblegum does disappear, but on clothes the top notes are truly eternal. This my go-to for after the shower or brushed through my hair. I love to layer with this, and I think it can be pulled off in any season or time (day or night) for a quick sweet pick-me-up. If you're looking for a sweet candy fragrance on a budget, look no further because this is a true must-have!

Doing a review again after owning it for a month . This has become my signature scent I love this perfume [black opium i still love you i swear...]. I want to bathe in this scent I want a body lotion , hair mist WHATEVER I NEED EVERYTHING OF THIS SCENT . Something about it just speaks to me deeply like I wake up and its like sending me telepathic messages to spray myself with it its crazy . To me , this is more of a simple everyday scent . It's musky with that delicious cupcake note . It's when I don't feel like going over the top cotton candy heart attack explosion , something simple but still sweet .

By no means am I a Gourmand fan. I am quite the opposite but since I work at BBW I am exposed to all types of scents. So perhaps my nose/likes are changing. With all that to say, I really enjoy this scent! I get a comfiness from this scent. Like enjoying a hug from a loved one. I feel enveloped. This is just a clean fruity scent with perhaps a hint of the cupcake. Not sweet at all. It is unique or remarkable, no but that doesn't mean that this won't be enjoyed. It is a perfect grab and go no offensive scent. I enjoyed this so much that I got a small bottle & about to buy a larger one!

This smells just like bath and body Fairytale which has been discontinued and I am so mad about it that so when I smelled this I was super excited because now I don’t have to get duped by someone on mercari selling vials of Fairytale for $14 and sitting the whole fairytale bottle on the sell picture or pay 85 or whatever ridiculous amount they want on eBay for a body spray. I can now just buy Candied Fantasy. It lasts. Ladies, if you love Fairytale you now have a dupe. This is a great girly sweet perfume for an affordable price. I love Britney. Her perfumes never disappoint.

I bought this on a whim at TaxFree while traveling yesterday. I must declare that I do not own any other Britney Spears scents and have never considered them before—the aesthetic of the bottle is not my style, which has probably kept me from giving them a chance. However, I love gourmands, and this was a yes for me at first sniff! It's a beautiful, light candy bubblegum summer scent—delicious. My two daughters, ages 6 and 4, loved it too. The scent sits close to skin so not offensive at to wear at work for example. Really happy with this one and a bargain for 26€!

Absolutely delicious! It's a gorgeous sweet scent that is very different from the other Fantasy flankers. The bubblegum note is very strong a few seconds after applying but dries down very subtly. It's sweet and sugary and fresh, which makes it great for daytime. It's by far one of my favourite flankers. Unfortunately, it has next to no lasting power and had disappeared on me within an hour, which sucks, but none of the newer Fantasy perfumes do so I suppose we can't be too surprised. For the price point, I don't mind reapplying regularly so it's not too bad.
