Circus Fantasy

I finally got this after a long while! My Britney collection is growing a lot more than I'd like to admit but who cares, that's beside the point! Now let's dive into Circus Fantasy.. I actually adore this! Not nearly as much as Fantasy and Fantasy Sheer.. But for a flanker? My goddess, she's in the top 5 of my Britney collection! And just BARELY.. I think what I adore about Circus Fantasy is that this is very much a fruit shampoo scent that I can actually get behind and I think it's because of the delectable sweet, CLEAN clean musk drydown. This is a very clean fragrance but it's also got a sugar sweetness to it (Because of course, it's Britney bish..). I've gravitated toward clean and flowery more these days but Circus scratches an itch for me when I want sugar with my clean lol and like I said.. I still idolize Fantasy/Sheer (They are just idol perfumes! this isn't up for debate!). Circus is very much a well put-together woman (Or young lady) who is clean, put together and confident.. But a little playful. It opens very bright, sweet and sugary.. And it stays sugary quite a bit. It's essentially a blast of sugar and raspberry. It isn't aquatic to me, but somewhere between air and water.. I appreciate it for not being entirely one or the other. It lends to its uniqueness. The drydown is divine and where the clean musk, vanilla, sugar and raspberry all settle on a bed of woods and violet (I LOVE WOODS AND VIOLET YESSS!!!). To be honest everything about this perfume is stuff I like aside from the overdose of raspberry but that settles down and it isn't grossly sweet to where it cloys me (I'm looking at you Midnight Fantasy, which I SADLY cannot wear because of how beastly and cloying it is with the plum overdose..). Circus Fantasy surprised me. Moreso for the fact that I really thought it would be my TOP favorite but.. Instead it is just confidently in my top 5 Britney fragrances (I know you're wondering what they are so: Fantasy, Fantasy Sheer, Fantasy: Intimate Edition, Believe and Circus Fantasy.) Circus Fantasy kicked Curious out of my top 5 and only because for all intents and purposes, Curious is a bit boring and too "vanilla" if you will. I still adore that scent too! Circus is just more fun and flirty while still being beautifully clean, feminine and a pop of energy! Final review stuffs: It lasts for hours on me! Smells beautiful on my skin! Adore the drydown.. Even better when sprayed on clothes and it dries down and my clothes smell like sugared musk and flowers the next day!!! Day or night this is a very versatile, pretty perfume I think you can wear for almost any occasion.. Be mindful when spraying, you can definitely overspray! I say go easy on it at first then find the right dose! AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE GOURMANDS DON'T BOTHER because she is VERY sweet and she WILL let you know because that sugar and raspberry is there from open to heart to dry down finish LOL. This is a CLEAN fresh girl shampoo gourmand (Like almost all of her scents smh LOL). Like really if u don't like the fresh, shampoo clean girl 2000's y2k vibe of the perfumes from that era idk probably avoid most of Britney's frags. Solid 8 out of 10!!!

I bought this for the raspberry note as I hunt down every raspberry fragrance, but I can't smell raspberries in this. Unless it is a dry raspberry-in-potpourri kinda note. .a hint of apple and cherry is also present . To my surprise this isn't too sweet because it also smells herbal there's a soft powdery thing going on that keeps it from smelling too sweet, or something but it is very sweet.. dry Kind of sweet. But fresh at the same time. Like a fresh potpourri smell .. At first I get a sophisticated tangy zesty smell but then I gets whiffs of floral cinnamoney vanilla that retains some zesty tangy note to it... (now I know after reading the description that they used zesty raspberry, and apricot blossom is a soft fruity powdery note) ...then I could also say I get sour cherry.. or apricots and herbs... I thought I might be detecting the lemon verbena note that is in hidden fantasy but nothing listed in notes says lemon or lemon verbena or any kinda grassy herb.. yet i get spicey cinnamon apple cider boiled with orange rinds sometimes too. Or more like Christmas mulled wine without the fizzy alcoholic touch. This is super mysterious and impossible to pin down and I never smelled anythinglike it .. like a mysterious fairy flipping and dancing while still having also a mysterious and elegant personality and she is wearing crystal jewellery out in the sunset. I absolutely love this unique gem It s like a moving festive tent full of morphing fairies that come out at sunset. Because each time I smell it I get a whiff of something. Hidden fantasy to me smelled indeed like a hidden lemon verbena cupcake or an herbal zesty cake that u just got to wait for it to appeare as the scent develops into it. It is indeed hidden because when u smell a zesty herb u usually don't expect a cupcake full of spice and everything nice to pop up. both hidden and circus fantasy remind me of mulled wine and christmas and potpourri scent near the fire place If u wanna know how this circus fantasy perfume tastes like in an herbal tea, u should try cherry herbal infusion by ahmad tea. Has rosehip, cherry, apple, hibiscus and other flavours in it. I think red plants have a component that make them smell similiar kinda..

I listen to rap music so Queen Latifah or Rhianna is more up my alley for a blind perfume buy. But finally, something led me to gorgeous Britney. My first experience was when I sprayed Intimate Fantasy since there was a tester and my eyebrows raised - low key impressed. Do I love Britney Spears? Yes. I do. And after smelling (bought today) this perfume - Britney Spears Circus Fantasy - wow. At first spray does it resemble a very good men's cologne? I don't know but I love this Circus. The first one I bought was Midnight Fantasy - it's good. But this one is my favourite. Then I bought Hidden Fantasy. Really good. So out of the three Britney Fantasy perfumes I now own - Circus is my favourite. Then Hidden Fantasy in the deep red bottle and then third favourite out of three comes Midnight Fantasy in the royal blue beautiful bottle. It's Britney, bitch. And she's surprised me before - and she did it again today with Circus - I did not think I'd like it after reading mediocre reviews. They said silly untruths (smells like soap or shampoo or baby powder - NO.) I fell in love with it at first spray on my skin- the dry down is so good too - is it the combo of Peony and Violet that I love? The top is stunning, the middle notes captured my heart, this perfume is relaxing and gorgeous and so special. The dry down - also great. The bottle is visually my least favourite of the ones I have but the smell of Circus Fantasy, for me, is the best. I don't know what it smells like but it reminds me of something that I love. It's new for me so I hope that the silage and longevity are at least good because I want this perfume all over - a Britney cloud of blue shimmer with studded pink crystals. There I said it. It's Britney bitch. Britney - if you're reading this - I love you.

I blind bought this recently from Fragrance net, the bottle leaked in the box, and I hated the initial whiff I got when opening the packaging. That being said, I decided to try it on just wrists today and I am shocked at how much I love it! This is dopamine in a bottle for me. I'm not sure which note it is but there's something in this that goes straight to the back of my nose and triggers some sort of happy chemical response. I saw a review on this recently that said this was the "youngest smelling" bottle in the fantasy line, I'm not sure I agree with that but it is definitely sweet and girly (as is the entire fantasy line). I think this is more complex than maybe some people give it credit for, or maybe I just got a really good batch!! It opens with a watery raspberry and some sharp floral notes, but if you let it settle it morphs into the prettiest sweetest floral with a touch of wood. The water lily sticks around on my skin and really balances the whole thing, keeping it from being overly sugary. On the dry down I actually get a lot more woods than I was expecting, I think I might try to layer this with a pure sandalwood fragrance to make it a little more mature! I'm not sure about longevity on this yet but I rarely rely on that when looking for a fragrance I love. Before buying this I already had OG Fantasy, Sunset Fantasy, and Midnight Fantasy in my collection. I like them all in different ways but I think this one is my new favorite! I can't believe I hated this one out of the box! The price makes it worth the blind buy in my opinion as long as you are a fan sweet florals and the fantasy line!

Review is for my own reference - I wasn't sure what to expect with this as I was a bit afraid I wouldn't like it. It's not my top Britney scent, but it's good. It reminds of a kids bubble bath or those little bath oil jelly beads from the 90's that came in fun colours and shapes. It's a sweet scent that totally takes me back to when I would smell the jelly shell of the bath oil- I love the texture, smell and colours of them! It is funny how you can associate a smell with such a vivid memory! I don't find the raspberry note very prominent, I think I'd like it more if I could smell more raspebrry, like in Lancome's Tresor Midnight Rose. I do smell a little bit of violet, which I think helps to not make it so childish sweet. I don't know if it's the memory of the bath jellies or the water Lillie's that give it a watery/aquatic smell. i think this would be good in spring and summer, by the pool or beach. I think it would have been fun for them to add a popcorn note since it's called CircusF. I've never been to the virus but nothing about the scent makes me think of one. This one is okay. Edit: I like this better the second time trying it. There is a nice violet, jelly candy, and aquatic scent. Super sweet, but the florals help to not make it too cloying. I still get kids' bubble bath vibes from it. Longevity isn't the greatest, after 3-4 hours it's extremely faint on the skin After wearing this a few more times I really like it, I find myself craving it! It smells like yummy gummy violets candies mmmmmm :) The silage is a bit better than some other britney perfumes at an arms length+.

An absolute 100% favorite. This has been a favorite of mine for almost 12 years. Or at least, a cheap clone of it. Little storytime: My grandma was the manager of our local Rainbow from 2008-2011 (in 2011, she became severely disabled and could not work). Rainbow sold clone fragrances of popular scents for like $10 or less. Their version of Circus was called Carnival, and I loved that perfume. I'm a life-long Britney fan, and I listened to her Circus album constantly then, but this perfume was still kind of expensive because it had just released. So, I was given Carnival and I wore it all the time; I wore it to Disney World in 2010 when I went for the first time. I flew through the bottle, but saved some up until 2020 when all the top and middle notes had faded (which is impressive given how low quality it was). Now that I am back into perfume proper and have the real thing, I could not be more in love and impressed. Carnival was, as it turns out, a pretty good clone. Watered down and less potent, but I enjoyed it so much. Around this time, I also used to love Vera Wang fragrances, but I'm not so sure anymore, but I'm still in love with this scent and it will always be in my collection. Circus lasts forever on me, especially my clothes. It's like we were meant to be! (As I'm typing this, I can smell it on the pillow I was holding yesterday afternoon!) You get a super sweet raspberry, musk, and a beautifully powdery violet. Versatile, can be worn in any season. Definitely my favorite Fantasy flanker; I love it even more than the original.

Tart & Fruity RED-CURRANT & RASPBERRY. Opens with a burst of tart & sour fruits that evokes red-currant & raspberry. That all deepens into the heart which elaborates the red-currant/raspberry theme with velvety tones from peony, fresh tones from water-lily and succulent tones from orchid. This all rests on a fruity-floral support base with candy, fluffy, violet, vanilla & faint woody facets. Overall I get a tart & fruity wearable red-currant & raspberry scent. Contrast to Amor Amor Cacharel: These are different, but I can see why they've been compared, as there is a striking similarity with red-currant. Circus Fantasy is more wearable imho, and plumps the red-currant with raspberry. Both have excellent performance, but Amor Amor has a more piercing projection. Contrast to So Sweet Lolita Lempicka: These are different, but this is another red-currant scent to my nose, although it's softened by a rose-iris support. Both have excellent performance. Overall: a delightful red-currant & raspberry scent with excellent performance for year-round wear, although I would be more likely to wear this in summer. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

This perfume was an absolutely amazing unexpected surprise. One of the best I've smelled. By the fragrantica notes shown above I was looking forward to a sort of hard candy, confectionery, fruity scent. I didn't pay much for it, so my expectations weren't too high. I can live with a little synthetic overtone, no biggie. In fact I was somewhat disappointed on first spray, it came off a little soapy. Shortly thereafter my assumptions and initial impressions were leveled. I was floored with a gorgeously soft, floral scent with no traces of synthetics or associated signs of "cheap" fragrances. The soapiness died down to a pleasantly fresh, linen background. The apricot blossom took center stage and DANCED on my skin. It's so soft and beautiful. Instead of a gourmand sweetness Circus Fantasy took on a more flowery sweetness. Imagine a soft white picnic towel in a blooming orchard with flower petals falling around you. That's what this made me think of. No syntheticness here. Just a floral spring beauty. I love it!

My sister gave this to me on my birthday and I absolutely love it! It has a clean sweet floral perfume that works great with my skin. I can definitely smell the top notes of raspberry and sugar, which then fade to a softer sweet floral, and slightly woody aroma. The sillage isn't too intense which I tend to prefer and the longevity is quite good. I can smell this on my clothes after a few days and it smells so good. I've never smelt the original fantasy or any of the other flankers so I can't compare it to any of the other fantasy perfumes, but from what I've read this seems to be a fresher and less sweet version of the original fantasy (although it is still very sweet). This perfume is really nice for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a young sweet floral scent. It is not very unique or polarizing and it seems like a safe blind buy for anyone interested in a fun celebrity perfume.

This is a fresh fruity and cute its very Aquatic, even though it doesn't list this in the notes. Its versatile though, some people ae saying that they don't care for the sharpness, but if you pair it with a raspberry lotion (I used eos Pomegranate Raspberry) and it sweetened it a bit and brought out those fruity notes. But I think it shines more as a freshy, which is how I'm wearing it today and it lasts about 2-3 hours on skin about 6-7 on clothes so for the cost a banger. I'd say because it gives clean laundry it can be used year 'round, but I can see this will be a summer fave due to it keeping me fresh in 80 degree temps. Rating:8.5/10 One of my top 3 Britney flankers for sure.

This was my first scent from the Fantasy line and I am in LOVE. I'd best describe this as a sharp, sour-sweet raspberry candy. Be aware that when I say sour, I mean SOUR. The sour raspberry note is VERY sharp, but the sweetness is also very strong so they kind of battle and dance around each other in a way that's absolutely intoxicating. It's a scent that will grab you by the throat and demand your attention; this is not something for light days or to wear in the office. The longevity is on the lower side of moderate; I'd say 4-5 hours, but for the price, you can afford to reapply, so it's not an issue for me. I would describe this as playful, bold, and absolutely edible.

I had this when it first came out and I bought it recently because I have been on a nostalgic kick lol. It’s just as I remember except for I think it used to last longer as with MOST Britney fragrances now and days but it’s still absolutely gorgeous! Sweet, sugar, raspberry, candy, fruity cocktail! I think it’s amazing for spring and summer but honestly I feel you can definitely rock this anytime! I don’t get the hate on this one I think it smells really nice! I think I still like the original fantasy better but that one is completely different anyways! If you like these kind of sweet, candy, summery fun fragrances then definitely check it out. Price is good too!

''Circus Fantasy'' is an INCREDIBLE, UNIQUE, WONDERFUL perfume!!!! I LOVE IT!!! It is completely different from the other flankers. It really is a very difficult perfume to describe!! It's that UNIQUE and different!! It also smells clean. I can smell the raspberry, the apricot blossom, some sweetness but not too much, musk, violet and woody notes. I ADORE this scent!! I will defintely repurchase for sure!! That's staying in my collection for as well. I don't think it is safe a blind buy though. You have to smell it first, because it is SOOO DIFFERENT. One of my favorite and one of the best Britney Spears perfumes BY FAR!! Longevity and sillage are very good.

I recieved this REAL COWABONGA perfume today, yes, of cause I have smelled it.... many times....before... many times... stupid me... then I thought, I couldn't sink so deep, but, now, I have felled so deep (in the rabbit-hole, again), and even deeeper in this circus-madness ,,, pls, I don't neeed any help, or, well, I just need 10 back-up bottles of this outstanding bjutifullll perfume!!!t Everything is already said about this fantalastiske bra parfymen, selv om du må spraye deg 10 ganger i timen, dette vil du, and, if y dont like it after all - give it to me!!!!

Ookayyy so just ignore the tacky bottle 😩 .! Don’t get me wrong the bottle is a beautiful blue but blue and .... red .? I guess circus really does match the colour of the bottle lol . I actually love this scent . Even more then I did a few years ago . It’s a beautiful flower scent with just a little hint of sugar . I would put this in the category of a aquatic floral . Too bad it only lasts 2-3 hours on me and goes to a skin scent after a couple hours . This definitely isn’t your grandmas floral perfume ; it’s young and way ahead of its time .

While I didn't absolutely love this one at first, I have found myself reaching for it over and over again. At first I didn't think it was anything special, but I have a pretty large fragrance collection and nothing else I have smells like this. I get a sweet but not overly sweet, violet hard candy. That is very specific, but if you've ever tasted and smelled a floral hard candy - this is it! It is just powdery and sweet enough. My husband also loves this one and I always receive complements. This may be one that's in my collection always :')

This smells like a raspberry lemon creamsicle or like a raspberry lemonade It’s fruity and fresh sweet but not too much and reminds me a little of soft by al rehab At first sniff i wasn't sure if i liked it It was fresher than i expected and i got a lot of citrus. But the more it dried down the sweeter and comfier it got😋 This’s a fresh sweet summer scent And a flirty light and happy spring scent And i would definitely wear this after taking a shower or i would put it on if I’m going to bed feeling relaxed and comfy

I have never commented on a fragrance, and I am new to collecting/enjoying them, and can’t always identify scents in particular. That being said, this perfume works very well for me on the dry down, and I can really smell the vanilla & woody notes while still getting some of the sweet, sugary scents. It works quite well for my chemistry, and seems to be a favourite of those around me as I get a lot of compliments on it. Have never tried a Britney perfume before, but for $20 at 100ml, it’s an easy love.

I love love love this!! The shade of blue encapsulates this scent perfectly! It smells like fresh dryer sheets with sweetness! So refreshing and uplifting! It’s as if blue raspberry slush or lemonade mixed with dryer sheets! Perfect for spring or summer to get a freshness but also brightness that you envision spring and summer as! One of the reviews describes this as a daytime version of midnight fantasy and I love that! I think it’s spot on! The lasting power is pretty good as well!!

My, my, my. This is really nice. It's ten times better than I thought it was going to be. I will definitely be reaching for this one frequently. It smells so good on my skin. A burst of tart flowers, musk and woodsy notes stand out on my skin the most. I have four of these and this one is my favorite, then number two would be Hidden Fantasy, then Midnight Fantasy, and lastly Fantasy Intimate. I hate I hesitated so long before buying this. I'm just glad that I finally took the leap.
