Electric Fantasy

Electric Fantasy lives up to it's name & inspiration immediately; the mix of passion fruit, mandarin and pink pepper is a energetic freshly sweet blend. I don't detect the lychee particularly, but I some other get tart berries and/or sour cherry. The mix of fresh, sweet and sour really does feel electric - it gives me a sizzling & snappy vibe. The peony is the strongest floral note on me, closly followed by what seems to be freesia. The orange blossom is also easy to detect, as is the classic powdered effect common with white florals used in fragrance like jasmine and heliotrope. The fruity notes are long wearing and push the floral notes largely into the background. The base note heats up the fragrance, by adding a undertone of dirty spiciness to Electric Fantasy. The lingering passion fruit combines with the benzoin and ambrox for a musky & heated sweetness, which seems slightly smoked due to the vetiver. Electric Fantasy has an excellent longevity and aura if it had been a edp, but for a edt it is outstanding - much better for the other Fantasy edt flankers (except for Fantasy Sheer, which it is equal to), and many of the Britney Spears brand edp formulations. Much higher quality than is usual for fragrances in this price range. Electric Fantasy is very enjoyable and it is well worth checking out if you want a energetic fragrance for the new season, even if you aren't particularly fond of the sweeter & more youthful Fantasy; it is different enough from the scent & overall feel of the original Fantasy to have been a new pillar fragrance in a different time, rather than another LE flanker.

First of all I'd like to give the creators of this fragrance a big round of applause for such a job well done! Bravo! The positive reviews of it on social media most especially in tiktok are absolutely 100% correct and on point! It's a love at first sniff/try for me and with all my heart I can say that it is my 2nd most favorite Britney Spears perfume being Candied Fantasy is my number 1 and 3rd is Hidden Fantasy! There's something about this fragrance that is enticing, enchanting, makes me feel confident, uplifts my spirit and It kind of reminds me of Christmas because it has that festive vibe! I get a green aroma which I thought a pine leaf or some very nice and Sensual woody scents that lingers and each sniff is like taking me to an enchanting christmas land filled with pine trees and sweet fruits! It stands out in the cold weather/winter I believe because it's very festive holidayish scent. I absolutely 100 % love it and recommend it now that its winter time plus it's very cozy...the subtle sweetness is like giving you a warm hug which is very nice. The bottle is very beautiful and the color fits the total perfume packaging and presentation. What a delightful vibrant scent I am so happy that it's part of my perfume family collection. Thank you Britney please create more!

I absolutely love this flanker in the fantasy collection and it might actually be my favorite out of all of them. I think the name Electric Fantasy is fitting because when I smell this scent, I just wanna put on something cute, go to the club and drink and dance with friends. Its a fun and flirty scent thanks to the passionfruit which comes in strong on the opening note. The dry down is slightly powdery, but still floral. After the passionfruit has disappeared a bit I can pick up on the spice from the red pepper more. The musk remains the whole time and pushes this into a flirty and sexy direction. Personally I love this scent for a night out or a party. It’s got decent projection and lasting power, i can still smell it 4 hours after spraying. The bottle for this scent is also really cute. The rhinestones look like little stars shining during a sunset

Electric Fantasy is such an unexpected approach for a Fantasy flanker but oh my god it is beyond amazing, arguably my favourite except for MAYBE The Nice Remix and Pure. The bold pink pepper is balanced out by the sweet passionfruit so perfectly, but the ambroxan takes complete control of this perfume. It is the absolutely defining note in this and its phenomenal, it makes it so intoxicating and sexy, like the type of hypnotic poisonous goop you would see in a fantasy movie. Even the florals in the middle notes come through in the later dry-down and just amplify it even more. This perfume in my opinion is so unisex in the best way possible, I recommend it SO much if youre looking for a sweet but sexy and intoxicating ambroxan perfume that just demands attention

ONE OF MY FAVS IN MY ENTIRE COLLECTION. I adore it! Right when it came In the mail I was getting ready to go out for my b-day and I wore it that night! It’s perfect for day or night, work or play! This IS heavy on the passionfruit however it also has an edge to it, likely from the pink pepper. This scent is fun & tropical, very sweet yet sensual. I don’t think you can hate this scent. BS Perfumes are always compliment-getters. I love responding with “I smell like Britney Spears!” She was my idol growing up so I will be continuing to support her line by wearing her scents. I’ll be keeping this one around as a go to!! It’s captivating!! Buy it. Update: impressed with longevity. Smelling it on clothing still the next day.

It was a blind buy. To be honest, I haven't tried Britney's fragrances before, it is my first one. I looooove DBIR, but it is quite expensive. This, however, is not that expensive and I was searching for a spring and summer fragrance when I heard that it is similar to DBIR, and let me tell you, it is similar, but it is less flowery and woody. It is beautiful, everything I want in a fragrance- it's sweet, it's girly and it is tropical. It's here for a good time, not for a long time, but in my opinion, it is good for its value. I was surprised by how good it is, maybe I will try in the future more of Britney's perfumes. I thought it's gonna be childish, but it is a feminine tropical scent, good for everyday wear.

Currently wearing this and I love it! I agree with other reviewers that this has the strength of an EDP, it’s strong, fruity, floral and divine smelling! it has a more mature vibe while still being sweet and fun. The bottle is one of the nicest fantasy bottles in my opinion too. I have loved the last couple of Britney releases (fantasy intense is another favourite, I get stopped regularly by people wanting to know what it is). I have said before that I don’t think you can ever go wrong with Britney fragrances due to the price point, but I think the latest ones are taking this to another level with how good they are. I’m sad this is limited as I could see it being one of my regular go to perfumes.

Burlington score - so happy with this one. Juicy sweet passionfruit, creamy jasmine, vanilla, and ambroxan make this perfume last and project. It is similar to Donna Born in Roma but I like this one better (I do not own DBIR, but have smelled it). I think this scent is a bit undersold compared to her other offerings, but this is my favorite Fantasy out of all the others I've owned (original, Intimate, Midnight, Hidden). It's so classy and well-blended, would wear well on a date or in the office. I wear "juvenile" fragrances all the time but if you are "concerned" about a Britney scent being too youthful for you, this isn't too youthful. It has a very polished scent profile that many would enjoy.

This is INCREDIBLE. I've had about 14 BS fragrances, just for collection purposes, and I bought this for the same reason, not expecting anything special, BUT this is genuinely one of my favourite perfumes in my collection of about 50 perfumes. This is just the perfect fruity candy musk kind of fragrance with a hint of floral. Very faintly similar to the OG fantasy DNA. If you wanna smell sweet like candy but still have a bit of something in there so you don't smell too juvenile or just like plain sweets, this is perfect for you. Trust me, you will be sniffing your wrist throughout the day, thinking about how good this smells. Performance isn't great though as it is an EDT

I love this take on Fantasy. It's lighter, fruiter and airer than the OG. I found the OG a bit too sweet for me. I think this flanker will be great for spring and the summer. It's a bit more grown up but there is a tropical vibe to it. It has moderate longevity and sillage. It is an EDT not EDP. I enjoy the fruity opening, the passionfruit is really lovely and shines through. In the middle, it gets a bit aquatic and then fresh and at the end there's a slight sweetness. I've not tried all the Fantasy flankers but I have 3 and I think of the ones I own, this is the furtherest away from the OG. I really do love this!

I resisted Britney Spears' fragrance line for years because I thought the inexpensive price point meant an alcohol blast with a generic perfume fragrance. Wow, was I ever wrong. I found the Fantasy line of fragrances to be interesting and delightful overall. My favs, so far, are Midnight Fantasy and Electric Fantasy (with Electric Fantasy being my top favorite). I'm looking forward to trying more Fantasy flankers. Electric Fantasy is an addictive and charming fragrance that instantly brightens my mood. I can see all ages enjoying Electric Fantasy's well-rounded scent. The affordable price point is an added bonus.

This is one of my favourite additions to the Fantasy line, along with the OG one and Midnight Fantasy! It's sweet, fruity and peppery with a pleasant ambery drydown. There I also get a slight whiff of vanilla, even though it's not listed in the notes. I do agree that it's reminiscent of Born in Roma, but to my nose it has a slight 80s plasticy vibe to it - not complaining though, because I love those type of scents. It's not as long lasting on me as the original Fantasy but that's completely justified for the price. Edit: spelling

Last review of this product. I love the scent so much! Unfortunately they do not last at all! It may as well be a body spray at this point. I'm done with EDTs and I'm done with celebrity perfumes, as nice as some of them are, they just don't ever last on me. I might as well throw my money away. For now on I'm sticking to dossier and oakcha scents which last so much longer and have better sillage. And I think I will pick up the Born in Roma dupe from oakcha. As much as I love this, it's gone 20 minutes later.... Sad :(

I love this! To me, it's one of the better flankers. It's womanly, summery, tropical(because of the passion fruit), fruity florals(sweet but fresh). A steal for $23. My only complaint is that it's an edt, wish they would have made it an edp. For an edt, it does last longer than her latest releases, jungle & naked. The flankers I have are midnight, hidden, intense, electric, jungle & naked. The best being midnight, 2nd electric, and 3rd would be intense. Honestly, I would choose my top 2 over the original.

On my skin, it really smells like DBIR. I didn’t have high hopes after reading reviews and knowing how sickly sweet Britney fragrances can be. I was looking for something sweet that wasn’t a gourmand and inoffensive enough to wear to the office in summertime. I really do love this perfume and think it will quickly replace my actual DBIR. Take what I say with a grain of salt, I know it will settle differently depending on your skin chemistry. This for me is Britney for grown ups and I adore it.

This has been on my wishlist for a while and I finally got my hands on it. It's a total love for me and yes it does remind me of Donna Born In Roma though they're not completely similar nor a dupe of the other. It just has that fruity fresh floral designer dna. I wish it lasted longer but as it's an EDT I'm giving it more grace. The only thing that annoys me is the sprayer/atomizer, I don't know if mine is faulty but it sprays like shit and is hard to press down.

Juicy, sweet and zingy! If zingy even is a word, it's the first thing that came to mind when I sprayed this lol. I really love this one. Another reviewer commented that this feels like a scent you would wear when you go on an adventure, I couldn't agree more! No one scent stood out to me, they all blended together in a very energetic, upbeat way. Unfortunately as with most celebrity perfumes it doesn't last...which is a real shame because this perfume is awesome!

And than l felled into the rabbit-hole again... And, straight into the peppery-bush, atsjo! Yes, the pepper reached my nose first, and it itches in my nose and on my skin, and than it calms down and the fruits starts to emerge, and some very sour, just so you know. This animalic juice smells so very good, just mind your nose if you are sensitiv to pepper and passionfruit, and why not change the passionfruit with some carrots instead?

I prefer this over the original Fantasy. This is sweet, fruity and fun but it's not childish. It's like a passionfruit cocktail with amber and florals in the background. There's even a fresh, green note in there somewhere. I have a hard time spraying it and it doesn't last as long as Midnight Fantasy does on my clothes. It's a subtle skin scent for me. People are saying that this has EDP strength, I wish that was the case for me.

This is my favorite scent from the fantasy collection, smells so amazing, and lasts on my skin at least 4-5 hours. I feel like it opens up fruity and very similar to Born in Roma, then as the dry down reminds me a little of Libre, and both are my favs, so I love this. I wish it lasted a bit longer on my skin, but regardless, I will continue to buy this

Love, love, love! Gorgeous & fruity but not juvenile due to the pink pepper note. Yes, it's DNA is similar to Born In Roma, Libre Intense, Prada Paradoxe Intense, but Elctric Fantasy is fruitier, sweeter, w/out becoming cloying probably because of the pink pepper note. My man smelled it and really LOVES it, too. Also, the price is amazingly affordable.

This starts off a with sparkling, juicy passion fruit blast. The heliotrope & jasmine slowly develops and then a soft musky ambroxan finish. This would be great for spring as I think the musky aspect might be suffocating in 80-90 degrees. Smells amazing though and was worth every penny! Another fabulous fragrance from Britney!

This smells so good, reminds me of Valentino's Donna born in Roma, they have the pink pepper and Jasmine in common. It has a very nice dry down with some noticeable vanilla even though vanilla isn't in the notes. PS: the fragrance notes aren't complete on here... I love it, it's definitely gonna be my go to summer fragrance!

When I first sprayed this I got a burst of passionfruit , instantly I fell so in love with the fragrance. It smells like fantasy but more intense and tropical. Once it dries down I still get the passionfruit but then the vanilla notes start to come in, the perfume lasts about 4-5 hours and then in becomes an intimate scent.

I was apprehensive about trying this one, but it’s delicious! Begins with a fruity burst, then settles within minutes to a softly peppery tropical fragrance with warmth. Not a ton of throw, doesn’t make my existing headache worse. I bought a giant bottle for a song, but would consider rebuying if I ever run out. A winner.

Electric aka Alien Fantasy, is not as strong as my prized Alien, but if you wanted to wear a scent like it for the daytime, wear this. I looove it! Better than Fantasy Intense. I'll definitely repurchase this one. Electric joins Midnight as my top 2 Britney scents!

I feel like this perfume is much sweeter and younger that the original Fantasy. the original one kind of has like a depth or darkness to it which this one lacks. I did like the perfume a lot when I first spritzed it, it's very floral and sweet.

Let me just say, I am sooo confused about the negative comments on the smell. I was hesitant to buy it because of them but then I did and I AM SO HAPPY I DID!!! This smell is sooo amazing and yes! It is a dupe for Valentino Born in Roma.

I love this perfume, it smells very tropical and floral. Very Summery and warm, it smells like how a beach resort looks! Dry down is nice as well, I couldn't stop smelling it, one of my favorite Britney Spears fantasy flankers.

I really love this perfume. Like really... I don’t even care that it does last. I wasn’t a fan of DBINR because it just lacked something, but this has that extra pop. Such a great blind buy.

Electric Fantasy is a very fruity fragrance with sparkling pink pepper. Truly a great perfume for the price. It's reminiscent of Christian Audigier creations. I am absolutely loving this!

This fragrance is wonderful, especially if you love juicy fruity scents. Better than the original, less sharp. Definitely a cousin to Born In Roma.

Ambery, sweet and fruity. Has a little bit of a refreshing vibe. Tropical. Beautiful, sadly an edt, wish it lasted like the original fantasy!

I LOVE this flanker. This is one for us mature ladies as the rest can be somewhat juvenile. Suitable for all year round, day or night.

At first I thought, "Well, Halloween is here and I deserve being tricked by all the reviewers on Frangratica into blind-buying this." I woke up and tried it again. It's a divine cold weather scent. Everything, conclusively, smells like a deep vanilla syrup and cherry. To me this speaks, "I am a woman and know exactly what I want," in all aspects of her life. This is for a woman who makes her own decisions instead of others making them for her. Because too much d@$% crap will happen for starters who put up with, "What will you do without me" as a statement. This perfume knows the time and place of when to be worn. The same thing can be said of a woman, in that if she doesn't know what she wants, others will make decisions for her and she'll never learn to be happy. Do I have a problem with purchasing fragrances? Maybe. But I won't stop until my nostrils (and brain) are fully satisfied! 10/28/24 I am disappointed that I have purchased 70% alcohol (roughly $3 at a drugstore) and then a scent peeking through. Cannot be used on skin as irritation will occur. People bathe daily (some bathe multiple times), yet, this seems more fitting for the homeless who have dirty clothing and skin that needs that alcohol as a refreshment. This eau de toilette can irritate people, especially the small ones and the older generation. Oil is everywhere. So what prevents the perfume industry in producing quality products? 11/01/24 Smells exquisite in the cold (and rain!) just like I knew it would. The vanilla is just so deep and rich I can't stop smelling my wrists and shirt. Based on this it's a love.

Smells identical to Azzaro Wanted girl. I think this needs cooler weather. It smells like ginger spiced play doh just like wanted girl in the summer heat. I'll have to try this in the fall. It starts off like Burberry Her even has that patchouli smell, which I don't like and wasn't expecting. I have too many fragrances with this scent profile and it doesn't work with my chemistry. I really hope it changes into something wearable when the weather changes. Turns into Vicks vapor rub just like wanted girl. What note is it that is doing that? I thought it was ginger but Bowdacious doesn't do that or jpg classique but classique pin up goes to Vicks too at the dry down. I really expected more from this fantasy flanker. As the temperature gets cooler, the patchouli is now hiding and it's starting to get sweeter. 🤞 We shall see if this will work come fall or winter. Also as it gets cooler it's becoming much lighter so honestly, I don't think this will be any good in any weather. And btw, there is patchouli in this 🤢 although it's not listed here, it is listed on other sites. So if the season this sings in is summer, you're going to have to love patchouli cuz it is drenched in it. Like I said though, as the temp goes down to mid 60s the patch subsides but the scent a whole has become very faint but at least Vicks has gone down and dirty patch. Maybe as my body temp rises it will turn up the heat on the heliotrope and jasmine and bring in some passion fruit for some juiciness?

I made sure to own this flanker for a while before reviewing. As someone who has loved the OG Fantasy since 2005...as well as the Midnight Fantasy, this one is just okay for me. I like it a lot better than Fantasy Intimate (which I found indescribably unpleasant) but Electric lacks any unique qualities in the overall fragrance world. It's a run-of-the-mill affordable fragrance. It's nice, it's enjoyable and the notes are okay but even at the affordable price point I think there are more interesting options. When I first put it on, there was an oddly plastic scent beneath the sweeter florals. The plastic scent aired out after about a week so I kept wearing it every night to see how it wears and settles on both my skin and clothes. To be honest, it's very "perfumey" while active but (probably because it's an EDT) it airs out very fast. I get a long wear cycle out of the original and Midnight but Electric is a wall of perfume that disappears very quickly considering the initial intensity. I blind buy all of the Fantasy flankers whenever I find them - they're a bit more rare in Canada. Again, it's okay and I like it but once it's used up, I won't be repurchasing this one.

It opens with a crystal clear passionfruit in the first few seconds. It's crisp, almost too punchy. However, shortly after that, the pink pepper comes to the rescue to balance it out, amplified by the ambroxan (I think). Once you notice the jasmine come into play, it quickly settles into a more "earthy" scent. A mossy and earthy dry down, framed by a nondescript sweet hint of something. It is an EDT. The longivity and sillage aren't impressive. Two hours into it I can only smell it when I press my nose to the wrist where I sprayed it. Three hours in, it's gone. What I like: I think this is the best Fantasy flanker scent-wise. It is the Fantasy flanker for grown ups. It's not juvenile by any stretch of the imagination. I blind bought it and I'm happy to have done so. It's very pleasant. The one major flaw: its performance. I wish there was an EDP of this. I don't mind respraying throughout the day, but you'll start back off on that crisp passionfruit again. I don't mind it, but I would've liked to get more milage out of the dry down in particular.

This one was in the back of my mind to pick up for a while, and there it was reduced from £30 to £12.99 for 100ml so I picked it up. This one is really good, it smells juicy from the get go, the passionfruit is fairly strong in the start and lasts for a bit before it dries down to something a little more powdery on my skin. For a fleeting moment it reminded me of Insolence but Im not detecting any OG DNA here really, which isn't a bad thing. In the cold weather this is a pleasure to wear, its fresh and sweet and a good everyday scent. In the summer id guess this might be a bit much, as with all of my BS fragrances it doesn't last too long, so its a good job I got the 100ml for top ups throughout the day. Would be interesting to layer this up with midnight or even candied fantasy. Im not really seeing the strong similarity to DBIR, its in no way a dupe in my honest opinion. It would be a safe enough blind buy for anyone who likes fresh fruity scents, think fruity shampoo. The bottle is beautiful though!! Im glad I've got this in my collection.

So for everyone having their input into the whole "Britney doesn't even know about these new perfumes" ... take a seat because yet again I'm going to explain what's going on !!! Britney is the ONLY person who profits from any and all of her perfume launches ! The fragrance deal was signed BEFORE the conservatorship ! therefore no one else profits from them. Once the conservatorship was put in place Britney refused to work, this lead to the fragrance house having to come up with new fragrances to release. Due to the fact that Britney had already agreed on the basic 'Fantasy' concept (name, bottle, box & notes) the company was able to just change up the notes/name/concept of the fragrance without having to get Britney to sign off on the launch. SO ... sadly Britney will know about the fragrances but she doesn't advertise them as she refuses to work (new photoshoots etc) So in order to keep Britney getting her money go out and buy her perfumes ! They are great and you should be proud to have them in your collections !

This has a really soft, powdery, pillow-y feel about it that creates a lovely scent trail. Passionfruit is nice, but this is really not a true passionfruit scent at all, it's vaguely fruity and could be as easily called "guava/kiwi" or whatever else. Not exactly upscale, but pleasant and not overwhelming. The drydown is where this really begins to take off for me though. Plushy heliotrope, white florals and a sandalwoody base (sandalwood isn't listed, but whatever). It bears some similarity to Avon's Far Away to me...a comforting, sweet and again, *powdery* floral. Oldschool, but not so much so that it would be hard for many people to wear. I don't think most people would consider this a winter fragrance, but I do think this sort of thing is balm for the soul on dark days. Maybe it works perform better in autumn, but I like it now. A really decent celebrity fragrance!

FIRST OFF! This is a perfume website, Britney Spears' legal problems should not be discussed here or even brought into the quality of her perfume. Coming here talking bad about the perfume SOLEY because of Britneys legal troubles, you need to reevaluate what you're doing here. This isn't Twitter. This is FRAGRANTICA!!! HOWEVER, I Just got this in the mail. And i LOVE IT!!! You can DEFINITELY tell that Electric Fantasy is a part of the Fantasy Fragrance line because of it being SUPER sweet and syrupy. But this is NOTHING like any of Britneys other perfumes. This is the first time Pink Pepper is used and it STANDS OUT!!! That is the main note you smell throughout the entire fragrance. It's amazing. The box claims that it's a Toilette, but this is CLEARLY a Eau de Parfum. It's STRONG, so only one spray will do. And it lasts for HOURS. it's a very young fragrance.

This was a semi blind buy, Superdrug was having a sale £10 for a 30ml bottle, smelled it in store to make sure I didn’t hate it and purchased it straight away. This doesn’t smell a whole lot like the original fantasy to me, or even like a celebrity perfume. It is so much complex and well blended than a typical celebrity perfume at this price point. I haven’t smelled many Britney Spears fragrances but it is definitely my favourite so far. Electric fantasy is a sweet, slightly tart fruity floral that is very versatile and I think it would suit any season, any age. A very uplifting light hearted fragrance. This is my easy grab and go fragrance that I can wear in the house or out running errands. This is one of the few fragrances I would recommend to blind buy. Almost a love for me.

Right. So when I first sprayed it on, I had a flashback- I smelled that perfume before! At first, it reminds me so much of Loverdose by Diesel but then shortly it develops into an Olympea by PR! This is odd as I can strongly smell passion fruit at first but then pink pepper takes over. I can't smell jasmine at all. I never had an original Circus so I have nothing to compare it to but in overall I really like this scent. And damn it is powerful, you have to be careful otherwise it can get sickly. After 5-6h it dries down and projection is only on a skin (but strong!). I bought 30ml for like 12 EUR/10 GBP and it is definitely worth it! I would not wear it during the summer season as I fell it could be too strong but on cooler days it is perfect. Very happy with this one!
