Fantasy Did it Again Edition

I am in the USA and finally got this from overseas. As a Britney fan and collector, I really wanted to get my hands on this. What I will say is - this will probably be a popular release if it were easier to get because this just smells good and is easy to wear. However, this is not a cherry scent - and a lot of the comparisons on here are really troublesome. This is nothing like Midnight, Festive, or In Bloom fantasy - this is a HEAVY pear-forward scent. The cherry is light in the base and more sour. This is almost identical to Versace's Dylan Purple - this is a fresh, clean pear, with some fruit. The mandarin shines the lily, and milky creamy is in the dry down. This is very youthful and clean. Will likely be nice in warmer weather, but I could see this being worn anywhere, anytime. It's got good silage and longevity. My bottle has a super strong atomizer, it SPRAYS all over,r which I like. I'm just a bit tired of the redundant PEAR. But it is nice, and it's different than her other 20+ fantasy flankers. If you can get your hands on - I say grab it, it's a solid 8/10 for me, and as a collector, it's one of my favorite bottles and really is easy to wear!

thank u god for bringing this to spain. it’s a funny story cause i thought it would forever be UK exclusive and limited so i was like okay i’m never gonna have this, maybe for 400euros on ebay some day, but then some influencer said it’s available in this random spanish store! and i was like WHAT!? ITS MY ONLY CHANCE TO GET IT so i didn’t think twice and i ordered it. do you know what i found out after i paid 28€ for this (shipping included)? that it was coming to the most famous and typical spanish drugstore for 19€... anyways. this is the perfect mix between midnight fantasy and hidden fantasy. remove the bitterness from the citric in hidden and the vanilla in midnight and mix the two. this is what you get. this can suit anyone

Ok. This is an easy reach. I thought it was going to be gourmand and it really isn’t at all. It starts fruity I get mandarins and apple not pear. Maybe my mind is playing tricks since the bottle is red. It is tart/crisp. I do get the milk note and almond but very very faint. I don’t get cherry or lavender or any other notes. Maybe lily of the valley? I definitely get a white flower so it must be it. But even there is a very faint note of almost and milk the tart fruitiness really stays. This isn’t fruity sweet.. I would say it’s more fresh? Longevity I would say maybe a good 4-6hrs? Easy grab, not memorable, but I continue to reach for it since I got it. Maybe it’s because the scent isn’t offensive at all.

I love Britney perfumes, they aren’t amazing, but they are good solid fragrances. I was happy when I found this, I thought the note breakdown sounded interesting, as I am into milk notes as of late. This is sweet, fruity, & fresh cream. I find it quite pleasant & it falls above the mid of my Brits. The sweet stays throughout due to cherry in the base. The cherry is not a heavy presence, but it keeps it sweet. I have found that I seem to sleep in my Fantasies more than anything, to the point where I want to have them on my bedside table. Projection is moderate and it last through the sleep test, especially on clothing. So, I kinda love it for the purpose it serves in my collection. 10/10

This is pure cherry heaven. Cherry, with musk and florals. It smells nothing like Sabrina's Cherry Baby, which I find to be a horrible mulled wine, candle smelling mess. This is fresh, unsynthetic, sweet cherry. One of the best perfumes in the Britney line, the bottle also feels more high quality and the sprayer is so much better than some past releases too - The box is nice, strangely they've removed all social media promotion from it, not sure why!

This smells like a mix of midnight fantasy and thank u next 2.0. you get a lot of the midnight fantasy but with a strong Apple note. If you're looking for a red apple scent I think this is a good buy. But if you already have kayali or thank u next 2.0 you don't really need this. If you're looking for a Garnier shampooey apple scent or something to layer with Champagne, apple and honey, this would be perfect. It's perfect for fall! 🍎🍏🍒🫐

I absolutely adore this gorgeous little gem🤩Beautiful bottle and Fragrance.The cherry 🍒 can be detected alongside the rose, musk, lavender & pear🙂smells divine 😍Sillage and longevity are moderate, lingers beautifully 😍 it does have similarities to Glitter Fantasy, Candied Fantasy & Kayali Eden Juicy Apple 😍 Another fantastic addition to the fantasy line🥰

In contrary to the other reviews I would say that did it again fantasy is nothing like midnight fantasy it's far more sweet and fruity without being in your face or over powering which makes this perfume ideal for a younger audience the main notes in my opinion are the cherry and pear great for day to day wear lasts a good few hours

Pear cherry mandarin shampoo. It opens with a very sweet pear shampoo and as time goes by, the cherry comes along with the mandarin, I mean the milk mousse, milk cream and the lily of the valley is a continuation of the fragrance. A perfect sweet cherry fantasy shampoo for the series, 10/10 bravo give back beauty.

immediate love for me. smells like sweet juicy pears and when you bite into a cherry, i get no milky or almond notes, it's more like a peary shampoo which i don't mind at all. definitely try if you like carioca crush / versace dylan purple 🍐🍒 (found at ross for 19.99 for the big bottle !!)

Did It Again has a juicy, fresh/sweet opening, thanks to the mix of mandarin & pear. The lily & lavender also develops quickly on me, adding airiness and some cleanliness to the fragrance. The long-wearing-yet-light cherry note is clean, so I don't understand why it is described as being a cherry jubilee note [which is sweeter & has berries in], maybe because of the nutty & creamy notes which begin to come through & add some warmth to the fragrance as the top notes fade away? A faint whisper of lily & lavender are detectable, but it is the rose that is the clearest floral note for sure. There is some vanilla and orange blossom here too, which I'm guessing is meant to represent vanilla orchid. The sandalwood strengthens the mousse & almond milk, adding more warmth and creaminess to the blend, as the fragrance becomes softer & closer to the skin. The cherry, vanilla and musk mingles with the powderiness of the orange blossom, maintaining the lightly vintage feel to the fragrance as it becomes a skin-scent. Considering that Did It Again is an edt, I was happy with the performance; 5 - 6 hours of softer-side-of-moderate wear, before it is a total skin-scent, with occasional wafts of cherry and vanilla. I find Did It Again to be like a mix of Ariana Grande's Thank U Next 2.0 & Cherry Eclipse. However Did It Again is a bit more energetic thanks to a fresher vibe and it does wear better than anything in Ariana's ranges. I think that it's very nice "everyday" fragrance that I don't regret blindly ordering, but I will say that it doesn't bring the original Fantasy fragrance to mind - maybe a slight hint of Midnight Fantasy, so I guess it gets away with being a flanker.

Did It Again is a perfume for someone who tends to prefer their sweet scents a little more subdued and clean smelling than gourmand. I can not entirely tell you if this would deter a lover of the original Fantasy (Which is quite soapy for a gourmand by modern standards) , but I personally quite enjoy it. This is smells more like a lactonic red apple soap than a lactonic cherry soap. It has the slightest feeling of Peace,Love and Juicy Couture to me but cleaner and sweeter. I also find that the florals give the scent and slightly more multidimensional drydown, whilst the Mandarin gives it a little playful tang. Comparing this to REM Cherry Eclipse , Did it again is more playful and energetic with the citrus brightness, where Cherry Eclipse feels a little more cozy and sedate from the Amber. A good choice for a cherry day scent at a easy price.

The cherries on the box and the bright red bottle are a little bit deceptive- this perfume is really pear-heavy. It reminds me of this one Mexican apple soda I love. I do get cherry as it dries down a little more, but I don't smelly any of the heavier sandalwood or lactonic notes. It's just a fruity fresh fragrance. I don't hate it, it's actually pretty nice! In the dry down, I can smell more of that sweet musk DNA that the original Fantasy has. Good light fruity shampoo scent for hot weather. edit: just wore this today. it um... only lasts like 3 hours... I'd recommend reapplying at least 3 times throughout the day if you actually want to keep smelling it, which is a little disappointing because the original Fantasy lasts over 6 hours on me.

I will try to keep this simple. (Wish me luck). It's a sweet, very fruity floral. Inoffensive and extremely youthful. I personally don't get cherry either which seems to be the norm going off other reviews. I agree it smells similar to MF. Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it similar to OG? No. Is it pleasant? Yes. I collect Fantasy line (although I don't really wear them) and £20 for 100mls was a no brainer. I blind bought it. Looks nice next to others. 👍👍

Don’t come for me. This is my nose and what it smells. The best way I can describe this is if you took Midnight Fantasy and added a few sprays of Tom Ford Electric Cherry to it. Just a few Gives it that cherry kick that makes it standout to me than the Midnight Fantasy. If you’ve smelled electric Cherry by TF you know it’s a bright tart cherry fragrance not that dark cough syrup cherry. Anywaysss, I like it. Is it basic? Yes. Is it bad? Not at all.

Love all the Fantasy line so had to get this and it's worth it. It does remind me slightly of Midnight. There's a similarity. For me I can't smell the cherry it dries to a fruity musk.

Found it at Burlington for 14.99. Sweet fruity shampoo scent. Reminds me of Salon Selectives shampoo I wore in high school. I smell more apple for some reason.

‘Midnight Fantasy’ part 2 the remix. Explosive Pear shampoo with the same type of fraudulent weak Cherry notes from ‘Midnight Fantasy’. While I don't like the Ariana Grande release, I totally get how people see a relation to ‘Cherry Eclipse.’ I find this more palatable than both of the lackluster aforementioned fragrances. Really wish this was more of a fun artificial Cherry candy moment that better distinguished itself from other flankers. 😅

very sweet fruity opening. like the og midnight, it has that clean vibe just fruitier. what stood out most to me was cherry. it's cute and sweet but idk it just didn't do much for me personally. it smells nice enough but i wouldn't buy this myself. lasts like a few hours at most and the projection is ok. you kinda get what you pay for here. i prefer the original midnight tbh i think it's more unique than this.

tested this on paper strip. smells like a cherry sorbet! but it's also not super gourmand. maybe it could use some vanilla? (or not but im a vanilla addict so...)

I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come from the Britney Range now EA aren't producing them anymore because this is the most chemically I've smelt from the Fantasy line. It smells like very cheap red apple shampoo and synthetic woods. A crashing disappointment!

Oof. No no no no no. Smells NOTHING like Fantasy. No cupcake. And CERTAINLY no cherry! Resembles Ariana Grande Thank U Next 2.0 very closely (but much less lively and juicy), and that one is apple and strawberry. Bottle is poor quality. The finish is a searing fire engine red and if you look closely it is minutely crackled all over, especially on the base. This feels like a cash grab. Give Back Beauty have bought the license and now they are putting out a cheaply made product at an inflated retail price, hoping we'll all rush out and buy it before word gets out that it's not very good. Now, if I didn't already own Thank U Next 2.0 it's possible I wouldn't be so harsh on this, and may have been content to add it to my collection. But, it simply does not smell of cherry or cupcake. At all. This is not a worthy addition to the Fantasy line up and I will be getting rid of my bottle as soon as I can.

So I ended up ordering this from overseas (I'm in the US, it's not here yet - I was told BS Avenue is a site where you can get legit Britney perfumes...I don't get why if it's a fan site, but my perfume source said it's reliable). While this does not smell bad at all, I am a little disappointed in this one. I definitely am not getting cherry, and the perfume is not what I expected at all. To me this smells like one of the Ariana Grade perfumes... I think either God is a Woman or Thank You Next 2.0, or maybe a combo... Both nice perfumes, but again, not what I thought this one would be. I was SO excited to get a cherry scent from Fantasy especially with the additional notes of Almond Cream & Milk Mousse. This sounded like a dream to me. I've been hoping to get a creamy Cherry Almond from the Fantasy line... but this is not it. I was thinking maybe this would smell somewhere along the lines of Jergens original Cherry Almond scent but even creamier. I'm really not getting cherry at all. It's fruity, but kind of generic fruity...maybe with some pear. It reminds me of something you'd find in the late 90s or early 2000s, either at B&BW, VS, or even a general drug store body spray. Again, it doesn't smell bad, but this is just not special & not what you'd expect given the notes & cherry print box. I'm not sorry I have it, I collect the Britney's & the Fantasy line is my favorite line, but it's just not what I was hoping for. I think Midnight, Festive, & In Bloom all smell more cherry/berry, & are overall better perfumes.

I had high hopes for Fantasy DIA when I snagged it recently but, so far, it's not a flanker I'm loving. Fantasy DIA strays pretty far from the OG DNA and it's profile is one that's pretty ubiquitous these days....that whipped, powdery, red berry combo, lying somewhere on the spectrum of sweet, that you find in Burberry Her, Yara, CH Very Good Girl, Phlur Cherry Stem, etc. It's been compared to Midnight Fantasy in some reviews and I'd say it's a second cousin. MF is soapy, musky, and 'purple', where DIA is powdered, woody, and slightly herbal with the addition of lavender. DIA reads like 'cherry chapstick' where similar frags might read like 'berry body wash' or like 'plasticky Strawberry Shortcake doll's head'. It's dry and fluffy, leans more raspberry or tart strawberry, IMHO, than cherry. I love a boozy cherry, with some spice or patch. This is not that. I'll give it a few tries bc I do find it a wearable example of a profile I don't prefer, but it's probably going to my daughter, bc she does.

So, this is a strange review. Cuz i actually like the perfume, it's generic and unique at the same time. I actually don't think its close to midnight fantasy. It's different. I smell the pear, rose, mild cherry, and flowers. Not great projection. Not great lasting power, maybe 4 hours. Here's the weird thing though.... the bottle is off Center. When you shine light through the red bottle, which looks like an egg pattern once illuminated, we could see the juice on the inside was off. Like it was leaning left, it wasn't center. Once you tilted the bottle to the right, all of a sudden it would be even. I am unimpressed with this bottle, which makes me worry about this GBB deal. If this is there quality of their bottles, and they are going to continue only releasing in Europe, instead of the actual country this singer is from, I'm unsure future purchases will be worth it. Overall, juice good, bottle bad.

I just bought this yesterday so this is definitely a first impressions review... This is a sweet and juicy fruit musk to me. I get no cherry or cough medicine vibes from this. It is apple and miscellaneous red fruits combined, floral hints and a creamy, musky and sweet dry down. It mostly reminds me of Dsquared Red Wood and Al-Rehab Moroccon Rose with a creamier dry down. A true 00s shampoo, juicy-clean kind of scent. It's more Nina Ricci/Escada than some might be expecting. I'm actually happy with it, I like a juicy fruit shampoo scent and the creamy dry down is very pretty. The bottle might divide some people, I think the finish is supposed to resemble leather studded with the usual diamantes but it is garish for sure. To clarify, I get nothing cherry, nutty or much cupcake from this. It is much more juicy and clean than gourmand.

this is so sooooo so so good!!! Such a nice first release with the new GBB team! The bottle is lush the detail to make it like a tacky looking (srry) paint finish like the latex suit was a reallllly good touch. the longevity is decent!! One of her best performing EDT’s, although my only worry is this smells soooo much like apple. It may be the pear but it is pure pure red apple to me!!! thank u next 2.0 is a good comparison they’re like 50-50. and that just worries me a little lol, because this was marketed as pure cherry...I ain’t get no cherry. at allllll which scares me for future releases regarding their notes and how they smell lol. But this is reallly really nice !!! cute summertime fantasy !

Smells like Victoria Secret “Love Spell” but not as potent.. I remember VS LS being sprayed all throughout my middle and high school years. This perfume smells like the remnants of LS ... it’s like the dry down off a 2007 Juicy Couture velour track suit that was oversprayed with LS and left in the closet for a few weeks .. this perfume smells like that vibe . It’s ok but nothing to lose my $hit over it’s nice enough I spent $11 for a smaller bottle size. As the drydown proceeds I am left with this very apple-y shampoo scent that feels a bit boring and nondescript (for 34 year old me) I’ll give this to my 12 year old to add to her collection it’s way more fitting for that age group.

I’m not getting cherry from this - maybe some cherry blossom, certainly not syrupy cherry or medicinal cherry. Someone mentioned that they got maraschino cherry from this which is why I rushed out to get it, but alas. It reads apple to me - and that’s not just the bottle giving me that impression, my friend beside me who had a sniff agreed. Apple, then strong white flowers. The classic kiwi cupcake base is there as it dries down. But for me - this isn’t a cherry forward perfume, it’s a fruity white floral. It’s very reminiscent of something from the Escada perfume line. Manufactured by Give Back Beauty for those asking.

It smells faint rn, but hopefully will settle after a while and get stronger(I just had it delivered to me). I do detect cherry here immediately. If I can characterize it for now I’d describe it like this: a cherry sister to Kayali Eden Apple (which I like), although without any mossy notes in the base. This cherry is nice and clean with some greens peeking out. I see a good potential. Ps. I hoped that the new license owner would also bring back the quality and charms to the line. I mean a 20 pound scent again? The existing fragrances are weaker than they used to be which is a shame, because the line is good.

This is Give Back Beauty's first release with Britney Spears after years of her fragrances being created in partnership with Elizabeth Arden. Firstly, this is not a cherry fragrance; it smells more like a cloying pear. Did it Again is a perfect name. Basically, they DID Midnight Fantasy AGAIN, added a touch of citrus and pear, and put a really bad red paint job on the bottle. Ooops! Did It Again is finally showing up in the US at Ross and Burlington, priced at $19.99 for 100 ml. Don't pay more than that. I will likely declutter my bottle and break up with Britney fragrances. :(

Found yesterday at Burlington. Wasn’t too hopeful. So for $20 not complaining. Supposed be UK only release? Paint on new house is more lacquered. Lipstick red. Atomizer very powerful. Good dislike wimpy sprays. The scent seems very soft though my nose is getting to know it. Does seem like pear first then cherry. In my Fantasy collection which is all but renner and pure. This seems to fall somewhere in the middle.

I got this as a surprise buy at Burlington for 1499. Why not? And I’m pleasantly surprised at how bright and tart it is I mostly am smelling the pair of the crisp, but you know the Mandarin top note but hopefully it’s settles later and more of the almond note will project. Curious how this would mix with very good girl on a account of the cherry and almond accord

Ok so this to me, smells very very similar to Ariana grandes thank u next 2.0 the purple version, the dry down however is a floral cherry. Doesn’t have as much lasting power as the OG fantasy version which will always be the best in my opinion, they need to work on fixing the bottle 🥹

Smelt this in superdrug it's a no from me smells like a cheap body mist you could get from an chemist nothing special and doubt it lasts more than 1hr. Much better fantasy flankers than this but for a collecter it's cute.

Synthetic cherry. Got it at Ross for $10. It’s nice, sweet. But that plastic like synthetic cherry. Ugh. It’s okay i guess.

Victoria’s Secret sugar fleur without that bubble gum note. Very sweet, very fruity. But not bad for $20 at Ross
