Festive Fantasy

Wow. I saw the fragrance notes and immediately knew it would smell like Midnight Fantasy, but I didn’t realize how similar they truly are. In my opinion, they basically have the same kind of relationship as Fantasy and Fantasy Sheer. They smell very similar but Sheer is just not as powerful and some of the notes are different (like the lemon water). In this case, Festive is Sheer. It’s definitely not as long lasting as Midnight and the scent just isn’t as strong. Also, the notes are clearly different. Midnight mainly has a very strong fruit smell and it is somewhat overpowering. However, for Festive, it’s actually pretty balanced and has a sweet candy smell that I don’t smell in Midnight. It’s the right amount of sweet that combines with the other notes so nicely and it’s delicious! I’m not hating on Midnight AT ALL, but it is really fruity and I honestly get sick of it sometimes. Festive is just the right amount of fruitiness and sweet that I love. BUT, despite the smell being great, the lasting power is not. It just doesn’t last, which is what I expected as it is a toilette, but still. I asked someone if they can smell it and they said no, and I had just sprayed it not even 20 minutes before. But hey, the bottle is beautiful, the scent is beautiful, and it was only $20. And besides, this is based off of one person so maybe it’s not all that bad, we’ll see. Overall, this scent is extremely similar to Midnight Fantasy. If you don’t think so, idk what to tell you. Like I said, the only difference between two is like a few notes and the lasting power. If you don’t like Midnight Fantasy, I would not recommend this at all. If you love it, I sorta recommend. IMO you don’t need both. If I had to pick one of them, it’s gonna be this one. It’s almost a perfection for me and it’s a great twist on Midnight Fantasy. Glad there is a surplus of this fragrance now. I remember when it was more rare and it cost over $60 in most cases. So go buy it while it’s cheap, and remember how similar it is to midnight!

I'm so glad I got this one. I love it! This is such a lovely fruit perfume. I definitely get the cherry note and a bit of sugared vanilla. Fragrantica lists the notes as vanilla and sugar in the base, but I'm pretty sure when this came out the actual note was Vanilla Beignet. Which does give it a bit of a vanilla sugary vibe. This one isn't creamy like some of her others, it's not a vanilla cupcake, more like a sugared vanilla, so I guess that's why they used those notes if they didn't have Vanilla Beignet as an option to list. I tend to love Cherry scents, especially Cherry Vanilla or Cherries & Cream or Cherry Almond scents. This isn't pure Cherry and Vanilla even though those notes are very present. You definitely have some other notes going on that add to the blend even if you can't pick them out one by one. I always say Britney's perfumes are so well blended and this is another fine example. (Although in the future if she wanted to do a pure Cherry Vanilla w/ notes of cherries, vanilla, cream, almond, tonka, I would be very into that as well!) A lot of people have said this smells like Midnight Fantasy and I do agree. The notes are similar and they do smell similar. People have said Festive is the EDT version of Midnight, and that's somewhat true but they aren't exactly the same though which I'm really happy about. Festive is lighter for sure, but it's also brighter and sweeter. Midnight is a bit more sour and less sweet and sugary. If you're a big fan of the Fantasy line and collect the flankers, I recommend having both in your collection. I always liked Midnight but not as much as other people do. Festive is the sweeter version that I enjoy more, so adding it to my collection was the right choice.

I blind bought her. I've never tried a fantasy flanker before, so I don't know how it compares. At first I didn't love this but it has grown on me and is now one of my favorite, signature scents. Super sugary and vanilla. At first it seemed really coconut to me, but as I am more able to recognize that's actually vanilla/gourmands smell. The top notes don't last very long, but that's okay. At first it's a little shampooy, but honestly it's okay for me, it smells clean. I love how much vanilla is in this though, it really sticks around and loves my body chemistry. I think with the sandalwood this becomes a mature, deeper fragrance. The base notes last all day and I don't get nose blind to it. It definitely sticks to clothes for a long time. I wore this like every day at the end of last summer, so definitely a summer scent. It has gotten me a compliment or 2, not too many though unfortunately with this. Vanilla isn't for everyone I guess. It's been maybe 6 months since I got it, I didn't wear it much in the winter at all it just wasn't quite right. Wearing it today I remember how much I love it! But already half the bottle is gone and as spring comes around it'll probably be gone by the end of this summer. As for the bottle. BEAUTIFUL. Really a huge plus and serves as great decoration in my collection, and will definitely keep forever. Buying this made me get midnight fantasy and both are pretty similar, midnight is just a lot more plummy! Overall probably 8/10 for me. I just wish it was a little fruitier. I love layering it with more fruity scents, as its a good perfume for layering.

I love this perfume so much, I bought it from BSAvenue in France, because I live in the USA, and haven't been able to find her fragrances in the USA, since 2018's Prerogative, I paid around $82 for this, and I would say I would pay $60 for a 100ml of this, if it was sold here in the USA. I remember when Rocker Femme Fantasy came out, and I bought a 100ml when it first released for over $40, so it depends on how big of a fan you really are. I grew up with Britney, Baby One More Time was one of the first albums I bought, I was 8 when it came out. I believe the reason we don't get Britney perfumes in the USA for over 2 years now is because Revlon bought out Elizabeth Arden. I just hope Britney gets control of her life again, and the conservatorship ends in 2021. I want Britney to be Free. Onto Festive Fantasy, I personally think this is the daytime version of Midnight Fantasy, I really like this perfume, I get sugar the most, vanilla, then cherry, and plum, as well as light florals in the background. I really love this perfume, and I wish it was an EDP, instead of EDT. This is my favorite perfume since Fantasy in Bloom was released in early 2017.

Ok so this is a beautiful fruity, hairspray kind of scent. To my nose it doesn’t smell like midnight fantasy at all. This is a lot lighter, fruitier, more airy juicy, a little citrusy and sour scent. Midnight is a lot darker, creamier and the berries are much more prominent. Berries is all I smell in Midnight Fantasy. I wouldn’t say that this is a total berry scent as it more citrusy and complex. A little vanilla comes in the drydown as well . When it dries down completely it reminds of “Riri” by Rihanna. It is a beautiful, shampooy scent but it doesn’t project and last at all unfortunately on my skin. You have to reapply one hour later. I like it but Midnight Fantasy is the ultimate berry scent and one of my faves. . A beautiful fun scent overall. I like it 🤍. Wish it projected and lasted more.... Edit: It’s been a couple of days and now the berries are coming through and it smells absolutely Divine!! Omg!! It has transformed to an incredible berry scent!! I LOVE it!! 😍❤️

This is such a beautiful fragrance. I own three Britney perfumes (Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy and Intimate Fantasy) but this takes the cake. This is her most gourmand scent, it’s sugary and addictive without being nauseating. It’s really a dream for lovers of all things vanilla. It doesn’t smell cheap or immature, it’s alluring and the opening notes of cherry, plum and dewberry really add a more refined flavour to the fragrance. This may become my favourite perfume of all time, i’m truly in love and i’m unsure how I haven’t come across it sooner. I sprayed it on me at 11am, it’s now 6pm and I still smell it around me. Great longevity and silage, i’ve 0 complaints about this perfume.

This is a perfume that really lives up to its name! Festive indeed! You get in such a very good mood when you wear this. To me, the smell is like a bowl of freshly picked tart, juicy dewberries with vanilla sugar and granulated sugar on top. Or as a delicious frozen cheesecake with dewberry filling, sugar crystals berryculisse on the side and tiny juicy yellow Mirabelle-plums on top! It’s sooo goood! I don’t smell any flowers in this, so for me it’s a true gourmand! And no...... I don’t find ANY similaritys between this and Midnight F.... I cant stand Midnight F but I LOVE, love, love Festive Fantasy! Festive fantasy and Rainbow fantasy are my two favourite fantasy-flankers!

A very successful flanker, truly evoking a festive atmosphere. It opens with delicious, juicy, and sweet berries, soon giving way to dessert-like cookie notes characteristic of Fantasy. The overall composition is joyful, pleasant, and well-constructed. These are really good perfumes, though—like with others from the Fantasy line—I recommend letting them macerate for a while. Then, on fabric, it stays for a long time, although with intimate projection. The bottle, on the other hand, is a truly sensory experience; it’s beautiful and wonderfully uplifting. Festive Fantasy is one of my favorite flankers from the line.

If you love Vanilla perfumes, you're going to LOVE Festive Fantasy. This is DEFINITELY a Midnight Fantasy flanker. HOWEVER, Festive Fantasy has A LOT more vanilla and has more berry notes than it does plum notes whereas with Midnight Fantasy is the other way around, it has more plum notes than it does berry notes. In my opinion, Festive Fantasy is WAYY better than Midnight Fantasy. The amount is vanilla tho does bring the scent to more of a unisex scent..Definitely a Winter scent. Can't see this working in warmer climates.

It's absolutely beautiful! The bottle I have sprays the base notes. If there is dewberry and sour cherry in this, they only shine for a few seconds before going straight to the base. This is the only bottle in my collection that does this. I don't get the middle notes either. That said, this is heavenly. I get sugar and vanilla the most. The bottle is the most beautiful of all my perfumes. This is worth every penny and I even bought 3 more bottles to gift them to my sisters. I highly recommend this. 10 out of 10. ❤️💚💙💛

Nice bottle. Cute! First spray I get alcohol smell, but it will fade away about 30 seconds. That's ok. After that the cherry smell emerged and the smell becomes balance. Soft smell n good for daytime. I considered this as one of the best cherry fragrance. Usually, I don't like cherry smell because it always smell synthetic. I think this fragrance is better than midnight fantasy. I am not into midnight fantasy because it smells too young n sugary sweet. This one is more balance and matured. Love it!

This sweetness remind me so much Midnight Fantasy... but she have her own enchant! At first spray I can smell the original Midnight Fantasy (but a little bit lighter), due to the plum and sour cherry. Then it changes and become more sweet, appears the dewberry, sugar and vanilla. Soooo sweet! This fragrance remind me some dessert, sugar is very prominent in my skin. I think Festive Fantasy is a lighter and sweeter version of Midnight Fantasy. And of course, younger! The bottle is so nice too.

I have convinced myself this is a 65% dupe to The Body Shop Dewberry but maybe my memory is failing me. It's been a long time since I have had Dewberry and I had been looking for a dupe for it. Bought this one someone's suggestion online and am in love! Staying power is not there as others have said but for the price and the beautiful bottle and the nostalgia, 10/10 for me. I started pairing this with Botanicae Meraki so that I'm a swirling Figgy Dewberry in the summer.

Yum! This flanker is just the perfect fruity adolescent scent I love throwing on when I want to feel girly & deadly sweet. For me Midnight Fantasy wears much differently due to the Plum, Iris and Amber. (none of these are in Festive). Festive's combination of sweet cherry, freesia, lily and sandalwood is a delicious delight! I got this for less than $20 for a large bottle and the bottle is the coolest rainbow colored pretty glass. One of my newest frivolous favs!

Normally I give a somewhat in depth breakdown of fragrances. But this is basically an Eau De Toilette version of Midnight Fantasy. I wish I understood what "festive" has anything to do with this fragrance. (Hidden fantasy is more "holiday" imo) The bottle is actually pretty in person. I don't mind this fragrance but of course it doesn't last very long because it's an EDT. Silage: Light-Medium Longevity: 3-4 Hours

💲About $17 for 3.3oz at Ross 👃 This has suddenly become one of my favorites. The scent is pulpy, sweet, & creamy. I had to cheat and sneak a peek at the notes to try and isolate them in my mind. After purposely searching for the cherry note, I can identify it to be a ripe fleshy dark cherry, not the tart kind. The scent has lasted well all day without reapplying mostly fading into a raspberry whipped cream.

El secado me recuerda a shampoo o lasca para el cabello igual que el lollipop de Mariah Carey pero más intenso. Ya despues se siente solo una nota de anis. En ropa dura hasta 3 días en la piel 5 horas y volver a aplicar. Los fantasy siempre 🫶🏽

I’m not usually a huge fan of cherry scents, but this is nice! I’m getting a scoop of cherry ice cream in a fresh waffle cone. I love this! I avoided this one for so long due to the reviews of it being similar to Midnight Fantasy. Midnight Fantasy doesn’t mix well with my chemistry, but this is a lot creamier and more wearable. I’m beyond happy I picked this one up!

I got a 1oz from Mercari and needed a full size, and luckily they had the big bottles on fragnet! A very sweet and juicy tart cherry with coarse sugar crystals. That’s the best way to describe this. It’s like taking a sour cherry syrup and mixing it sugar or maybe cherry flavored lip scrubs. This is GORGEOUS. A must have if you love cherry or sour fruits!

I really love this scent. It's not really "sophisticated" but it's fun. It's sweet and fruity in a light and refreshing way. There's something almost aquatic about it IMO, like some kind of vanilla cherry/berry drink. It's really nostalgic, though I'm not entirely sure why. Unfortunately, I get absolutely ZERO projection or longevity.

I think this is a lovely fragrance. I found it at a Ross Dress For Less, and I honestly didn’t even know it existed. So I grabbed it up and I’m really glad I did. I honestly get a bit of coconut on myself, even though it’s not listed in the notes. It’s a very safe fragrance for work. I see myself using this quite often.

The sweet smell of walking into an ice cream shoppe on the shore <3 It is a specific memory of summer in the abstract WITHOUT being suntan lotion, beachy summer, imo. Cold vanilla, sweet maraschino cherries, waffle cones and whipped cream. Delicious! Less tart and more creamy than Midnight Fantasy.

Midnights little bratty sister. Bottle is stunning, no lasting power (typical for the modern Fantasy flankers) but if you overspray, you can get more out of it. I collect all of the Britney Spears frags so it was a must have. I like the syrupy sweet cherry raspberrry 🥰

I pretty much wanted this for the bottle and I figured it was a safe buy since Midnight Fantasy is one of my favorites. I was right! This is basically a sweeter, more cherry version of Midnight to my nose. I love it! I think it'll shine in colder weather.

omggggg this is great. midnight fantasy but super strong cherry and without that shampoo scent people talk about. the dried down is pure sugar and vanilla, and the bottle is gorgeous. this goes straight to the top of my fave fantasy flankers

I love this delicate cherry and plum. It’s a hit for me, awsome blind buy, I’m super happy. It’s just very faint, you can barely smell it. I would say it’s a sister of a midnight fantasy. Also very beautiful, but more subtle.

LOOOOOVE this one!!!! Probably my favourite out of all the Britneys I’ve tried so far. Perfect for warmer seasons while still being sweet! My boyfriend said this smells like a raspberry tart and I can’t agree more.

Absolutely love this one! It is a bit similar to midnight, but I like this one WAY better. Fruity, sweet, and clean. Reminds me of a fruity shampoo. One of my favorites, and definitely worth the $20.

Love it but doesn’t last a bit. Smells like sunset fantasy but more light and airy island water coconutty. My 9 year old loves her growing fantasy perfume bottle collection.

This smells like a cherry version of Winter Candy Apple by BBW. Very fresh, very sugary, very berry. Quite similar to midnight fantasy, but “fresher”.

Another lovely candy. It reminds me of the midnight one, but much more cheerful than that. Youthful, sweet, light, easy to wear.

Refreshing, light and very feminine. I got a huge 100ml bottle from Superdrug in the UK for about £35. I couldn't resist, as the notes really sung to me. The packaging is lovely but the bottle is the real show stopper here. It is absolutely stunning! The colours are dreamy and it's 100x more beautiful in person. The opening blast is very strong nose-burning alcohol, but if you can get past that, it is very feminine and delightful. I get sweet sugar, plums and a hint of cherry. It's very fruity and delicious. I'd say it's like Midnight Fantasy and Rainbow Fantasy were combined and Festive Fantasy was the outcome. If you find Midnight Fantasy a bit too strong or heavy, this one might be for you. Festive Fantasy is a strange name for this flanker, as the word "festive" reminds me of Christmas and the holidays, etc, but this is (to my nose) a Summer scent. It's very light and breezy. It's kind of a shame, as a Christmas Fantasy flanker would be absolutely amazing! Maybe something creamy, with milky notes, cinnamon or egg-nog, something cosy and edible. Hire me, Britney's team! I have an amazing idea for a new Fantasy line haha! (I'm kidding, but not really.) I absolutely love Midnight Fantasy, it's super nostalgic for me, however this is a great Spring time alternative. It's very sweet and pretty, completely non-offensive and actually quite addictive. I keep spraying myself and enjoying that lovely fruity opening. I will say the lasting power is absolutely appalling. Turns into a skin scent within an hour for me, until there's nothing but a hint of spun sugar and warm, musky sandalwood on my wrists. I don't get any floral notes. Overall, I really like this and will be keeping it in my collection to put away for Spring or Summer next year... (Also to keep the beautiful bottle!) Do I think this is worth £35.... Ehhhh... Sadly, no... only because it just doesn't last at all, but I'm relatively happy with my purchase and will use my bottle when the weather becomes warmer in the UK. I just hope the profits for this perfume go to Britney.

I blind bought this tonight because 1) I’m trying to find a summer perfume that’s inexpensive...(just had to buy a $999.99 prom dress for my middle Child so my bank isn’t banking these days lol) so I thought that since the 100 mls size was $21.99 at Shoppers I would give it a go, expecting the sweetness of it to be something like an escada type sweet and not quite so gourmand and I do like this, it’s not love, and it’s not the sweet like I was hoping for it definitely screeches gourmand in your face and I don’t mean that in a negative way, it’s just perhaps a bit more juvenile than someone in their 40s could pull off as a staple summer fragrance. I’ll wear it at home and spray it on some blankets while I snooze (anyone else do that lol) but sadly it not my summer lovin that I was on the hunt for ! Whomp whomp!

I get a really strong sweet berry smell initially from this, which dries down to a pleasant sweet vanilla. I think it smells yummy from start to finish! I like sweet fruity scents so this was a no brainier when I found a 30ml cheap online. I don’t think you can go wrong with this if you like the other Britney Fantasy perfumes, I’ve had a few of them and am really glad I got to try this one too. The bottle is beautiful - like a tie-dye purple, blue and green pattern with the usual sequins- really pretty. This doesn’t last ages but the vanilla stays a skin scent for a while. I think ‘Festival Fantasy’ might have been a better name for this- the scent and bottle bring festival/carnival images to my mind- tie-dye, colourful, carefree, fun and fruity summer days.

This is very dusky plum, cherry, powdered sugar. Festive is a little tart also, it’s part way between midnight fantasy and maybe... the original fantasy plus that general sweet fruity celeb thing. Very strong sillage, lasts on clothes very well. During the day in skin I did Notice it only lasts a few hours, maybe three? In the evening it lasts longer 6pm is I sprayed, and now it’s 9.30pm still going strong. As festive wears it becomes less tart, and more plummy powdered sugar. I can’t decide if I feel this smells cheap or not.. as far as cherry goes all I have is some Le petit robe noir flankers and this is different, it may be the use of extra fruit which is a very celeb thing to do... and the only plum scents I can think of are decadence ...

Something in this reminds me of VS Wicked (I think it's the freesia) but a LOT lighter. This is incredibly light and soft, and doesn't remind me much of Midnight Fantasy. I can see why people might see a resemblance but as someone else noted, this one doesn't have the shampoo-y aspect and It's more vanilla forward rather than fruity. I do like this but it's a tad underwhelming. I think this would be great for layering with other fruity or vanilla perfumes. It's not a big projector either. The bottle is gorgeous but it doesn't look like the photo at all.. same colours, but in a gradient style rather than how it looks in the pic. Over all it's really nice and I'll enjoy it while it lasts but I think it's more of a one and done for me.

Festive Fantasy smells good but it doesn't smell like any of the fruits listed in the top notes for me. This smells purely like an orange creamsicle fragrance to me. It's reminiscent of Dolce Garden and Heat Wild Orchid, both which smell like orange creamsicle to me as well. Festive Fantasy is pretty light. I had to spray at least 10 sprays on various areas of my shirt and body to make it last. It projects and lasts fairly well but you have to spray a lot and definitely get your clothes for that to happen. I don't smell any OG Fantasy DNA in this, even though it does have a sugary and slightly creamy base. I would repurchase this again if I'm ever looking for a light summery fragrance.

Similar to Midnight Fantasy, but Festive Fantasy comes across as a bit more sugary and sweet, while Midnight Fantasy feels juicier and creamier. Both are very fruit-forward fragrances, with the differences lying in the nuances. Festive Fantasy smells like a bowl of red berries dusted with powdered sugar and rainbow sprinkles, whereas Midnight Fantasy is more like dark juicy berries and cream. Longevity is moderate— it lasts about 5 hours on my skin. The projection is ok, but you need to overspray if you want a scent bubble or trail. I got a compliment once when I wore it at the mall. This is also one of the cutest Fantasy bottles, it looks like a rainbow in person.

I recived this one today. It ́s a little like Midnight Fantasy, but I think it ́s a little more sugary, than Midnight Fantasy. I like them both. But I thought, since it was made at christmas time, that it would be a little more christmassy, but it isn ́t. It ́s is more seasonless and makes a nice every-day-casual perfume. Like I said, I like them both. I like plum and cherries mixed together, so I really like this updated version of Midnight Fantasy. I think Midnight Fantasy could be a little too much in warm weather, so this fresher re-imagining is a great find. It wears for around 7 hours and doesn ́t go to close to the skin too quickly.

Just got it in the mail...first impression: sweet fresh realistic watermelon 🍉, nice, in a few minutes gets sweeter like sugar sweet hard candies and marshmallow combined together. Very fun and juvenile. The performance is abysmal and non existent...this isn't EDT but rather a (actually expensive) Bodyspray. I can bathe in it and cannot smell it on me whatsoever 🤦🏻♀️ sad 😢😭 Btw...at least the bottle is beyond beautiful 😍❤️ much nicer than in the picture...the colors are rainbow 🌈 and under each other not like those patches chaotically all over the place..

Very accurate scent notes with this one. Opens with a sharp fruity/cherry smell, grows pretty quickly into the middle florals, and then ends in a sweet sugar/vanilla with a faint echo of the initial fruit. It makes me think of not being home because it smells like this specific public restroom soap that I always feel lucky to find because it smells sooooo good to me. Not sure if I need that smell as a perfume though. But the bottle is waaayyyy more gorgeous in person than the promo pic so I'll keep just for that. Longevity for this one is not good for me.

At first I was like oh H to N-O get this off me! It was way too much in your face sweet berry. I almost washed it off. I held on and the dry down is a nice vanilla, really nice if you like vanilla. My husband said the bed smelled like coco butter where I had been laying. I like it now but not the top notes. I kinda love the dry down though and, in my experience, I’d much rather hate the top and love the bottom than the reverse! Oh and I agree with this being like Midnight and Island mixed together. It is! Has more vanilla than both of those though.

Okay so festive MAY be my fave “Fantasy” bottle. Maybe. The bottle is just. Gorgeous. So beautiful 10/10 on bottle design. So beautiful. Take midnight fantasy and mix it with rainbow fantasy and sprinkle some curious and BAM. You have Festive fantasy. Such a good mix of the sweet fresh juicy scent. It’s got great staying power on original spray for a EDT. It holds close to the body and doesn’t really overpower or overwhelm so I could see this being one to respray but overall this is lovely! Another great addition to the collection!

Similar to Midnight Fantasy, but lighter and sweeter. Lots of fruit in the initial spray - plum, cherry, dewberry - which remains even as the floral heart starts to blossom. Of the florals I primarily pick up on freesia and lily. The jasmine is there too but remains mostly in the background. As it fades it becomes a sugary vanilla musk. This one lasts fairly well on me - about 5-6 hours - and projects moderately. Definitely worth a look if you like fruity-floral frags or any of the other Britney scents.

This and blissful are the best fantasies, although I have yet to try glitter and naked. Love the plum with the Madonna lily, it to me is a britneyfied The One, only this is sugared up quite a bit but they share that summer skin air about them. I love love love this! It's very addictive. I don't find it to be similar to any other fantasies, not even midnight. The lily and plum on this is the stand out and it's berries and iris with a sour note that that's the stand out in midnight.

Edit: this is just pure waste of money!! Spritz yourself with pure water instead. I sprayed 20(!) sprays all over me, even on clothes near my nose, hair, everything....and I can smell NOTHING few seconds later..even the cheapest bodyspray is stronger than this..I wanted to return it as a reclamation but in my country it's not allowed, sad. I love the Fantasy line, admittedly a lot because of the bottles and how gorgeous they are. This bottle is really beautiful. The scent includes dewberry, sour cherry and plum which work quite well together. It isn’t as good as some of her offerings but it is a great addition to the Fantasy line. If you like Midnight Fantasy you’ll probably love this one.
