Glitter Fantasy

Take a look at my profile and you will see that I own quite a few of the varieties from the fragrance juggernaut under the "Britney" umbrella. All that I own, I love.....except this. I don't just love this glitter baby, I adore, crave and demand it. Why? I love glitter. The box is tactile and pretty. I love glitter. The bottle is tactile and pretty. Especially under my bedside lamp. Oh, I know I've mentioned I love glitter, but I love pink too, so pink glitter makes me drool. The scent....sweet. so deliciously sweet, just like the strawberry lip gloss I owned as a teenager. Those red berries are strawberries to me. It does have some musk and oud, to give it a bit of backbone and provide some longevity, but honestly, I don't mind reapplying and reapplying. I love the stuff. Those complaining about the lack of "promotion", price, or anything else don't seem to realize that fragrances under the "Britney" umbrella have millions of devoted fragrance addicts who are loyal to the brand. You would have to be seriously deluded to believe Britney Spears sits in the room while a fragrance, bottle, box, and promotional ideas are thrown around. Today, this brand (especially the Fantasy range) is a brand that can stand on it's own. I hope this stays around for a long time. I'm going to stock up......just in case

I just got this after I ordered it from the Perfume Shop here in the UK as it was only £18.99 for the 100ml. I love the box and the bottle, they're really pretty and I am known to love glitter so its probably biased of me to say that. I've had the perfume on for about 2 hours and I do really like it. As others have said the first spray was a burst of berries and did have similarities to Fantasy In Bloom (which I also love). At the moment its a nice sticky floral and I can tell as its getting more towards the dry down it does smell quite similar to the original fantasy which I have about 5 bottles of which are all various formulas of it. It is a nice perfume but it if you're not a Britney fan and you already have Fantasy then you don't need this. I will still wear this though because it is nice enough and I don't think people would think I was wearing the original fantasy as Glitter does have a deepness from the dark fruits and a faint earthiness. Box 9/10 Bottle 9/10 Scent 7/10 Edit This lasted about 9 hours on me which I found really impressive and the more it dried down a really pretty buttery benzoin came through with a very faint musky oud note which was delicious!

I really, really love this! I don't agree that it smells like the original Fantasy. The OG Fantasy (talking about the re-formulated version) is quite sour on me throughout, and has a cold synthetic sweetness to it. I'm not really a fan of it. Glitter Fantasy is pure sweetness from the berries&plum, and has a warmth from the benzoin, with a simultaneous aquatic feel to it from the lotus. The violet and musk keep it from being too syrupy and make it a bit more airy. I've been wearing it almost everyday this winter (although I think it would be the perfect scent for a spring/summer day), as it instantly makes me feel so happy and girly and pretty! Guys and girls love it and I've gotten many compliments, which means sillage is good. Longevity is not bad, I'd say around 4 hours in it stops projecting. It's playful, sweet, innocent (but not really;-)) perfection, in a pretty glittery bottle!

I had quite low expectations for this but upon testing I actually think it’s one of the better Fantasy flankers. It smells delicious, as someone said below like a sweet strawberry candy, yummy and fun. It’s a happy perfume, I can’t help but smile and feel good when I smell this. I don’t find the longevity bad at all, I tested this and Prada Candy at the same time and could smell this one for far longer. The glittery bottle does look like something Barbie would spray on before a date with Ken, so can understand it’s not for everyone, but I do love sparkly things! I think it’s quite cute and would be a nice appealing choice for a young person’s first ‘grown up’ perfume. It’s also appropriate for the scent too, a very ‘pink’ sweet sparkly fruity concoction that I can’t get enough of. A surprising love for me! A casual and fun scent for happy days and lifting moods. Really affordable too.

Caroline Sabas gets the assignment when it comes to making Britney's perfumes. Glitter Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, and Private Show are among my top favorites from the Spears fragrance empire. Glitter Fantasy has a bright, delicate strawberry opening with sweetness from the fruit notes. It has a soft powderiness from heliotrope and violet. There is a bit of creaminess from the musk. I am unable to detect oud or benzoin in the base but whatever they provide as far as grounding, doesn't distract from the airy delicacy of this perfume. This is an intimate fragrance and it doesn't project strongly. This is not a strong vanilla cupcake gourmand. It is a hyper-femme, sweet light powdery strawberry. A note about the bottle, it is girly lovely in person and the fine silver glitter is adhered in a manner that it does not come off. I love everything about this fragrance.

Glitter Fantasy is like Fantasy's younger sister. They smell extremely similar however Glitter Fantasy is a little more sheer and weaker than Fantasy. Which is quite interesting as I don't find Glitter Fantasy to smell like Fantasy Sheer... it's almost like Fantasy DoubleSheer, which is very nice! A sweet, light fragrance that is a safe blind buy for people who like smelling sweet and pretty, it also has a beautiful bottle which is clearly of the Fantasy line, and looks very cute next to the rest of the collection. Personally, I find the sillage and longevity to be quite weak, however it is an EDT so that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend this fragrance! The best way I can describe it is like the youngest sibling of Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy!

I’ve had Glitter Fantasy for about a month and when I first received it I tried it on my hand and wasn’t very impressed. Well, last night I decided to wear it and I absolutely fell in love! (I’ve been craving a delicious strawberry fragrance and I’ve been wanting Burberry Her Elixir but unfortunately don’t have the money for it right now.) I’m SO glad I gave this another try! Delicious, juicy strawberries and a delicate musk with a touch of powdery violet. I have a strawberry fragrance oil that I layered with this and it definitely amps up the strawberry note. The bottle is GORGEOUS with the silver glitter on the sheer pink bottle. This lasts forever on me as well. I’ll definitely be needing another bottle of this. Glitter Fantasy is a 10/10!! 💖💖

I love this perfume!! It smells like strawberry shampoo! Its fun, vibrant and uplifting!! Screams the colour pink!! This smells similar to fantasy just like a strawberry shampoo version! The original fantasy scent is reminiscent here! It smells a lot happier rather then flirty like in fantasy! I bought glitter fantasy and fantasy together at the same time and I liked glitter fantasy more for a while! It’s nothing complicated and doesn’t have a lot of depth but who cares! It’s pretty!! The bottle is gorgeous too!! Lasting power is one of the best out of the eau de toilettes in the fantasy range! Just smells like happiness in a bottle and it never fails to lift my mood!

I'm not collecting all of Fantasy flankers but I like to keep this one because of its pretty bottle. At first, I thought it would be just an ordinary sparkling/glittering fruity fragrancelike its name. But I was wrong! This fragrance is very sophisicated. It starts with juicy and sweet fruits. Then I get slightly powdery floral but this floral part went quite fast on my skin. The highlight is woody base. Very sensual and peasent. Even though it does not has same notes with the original Fantasy but I can recognize the sweetness of Fantasy in it. The performance is surprisingly good on me as well. Very impressive. I give it 10/10 for sure. <333

~ Sugary Red berries, Soft Florals At first spray, it gives off the same red berry scent as Island fantasy... The plum note is nothing like Midnight, it adds just a juiciness to the red berry. Once the top dries down it becomes a sugary soft floral. This should have been Sunrise Fantasy... They could have thrown in a citrus and maybe something airy and fresh like an ozonic note. And the bottle could have been a gorgeous light pink and Light blue gradient. This is a very inoffensive fragrance, but it's definitely not worth more than 30$ Silage: Moderate Longevity: 3-4 hours

My husband loves shampoo smells and he okayed this purchase at Savers (100ml/13). I find it charming. My first impressions are raspberry plum, a juicy shampoo aroma that carried through the other perfume scents around the shop. Then it settled a little and I found the softness of the plum took the zing out of the raspberry. Along with that a fluffy pale pink floral note that coasts along, making it more of a perfume and less of a shampoo scent. There is a creamy base note of benzoin that I love, adding some warmth. Excellent purchase!

Glad it’s red fruit not berry Strawberry is fine here. Compare to JLO and Katy perry? As good. More sheer. The move away from sweet as dominant accord. Means. Easy to wear. Like oud here. Of course a soft western version but still Fantasy with oud? Nice Better for me than sunset or rainbow Less dessert. On trend. Not as sheer as festive. I say. Buy. Glorious bottle Would buy for glass art alone. Glitter. Waited for Britney to bee free and this was the first one I bought.

It’s such a beautiful scent It doesn’t disappear as quickly as some have said and I think it lasts a while on my clothes too It’s a very powdery sweet (like dolly mixtures sweets if anyone has smelled those before) It’s the same thing that Katy Perry mad love makes me think of and I think the two are similar Bottle is also stunning and I think think it was worth the money I spent I want another bottle as I’m already through half and it seems it’s becoming harder to find

WHOA! WHAT!? This is the most UNUSUAL and UNIQUE fragrance I HAVE EVER SMELLED. Glittering red gummy bears bouncing off candied strawberry and vanilla flowers. This is like Circus Fantasy with Midnight Fantasy, only with more red berry more edible notes.. Cannot wait to play with it in my collection. edit: obsessed with this fragrance, juicy edible pink perfection - only wished it lasted longer and was an EDP. this is a new staple for me.

This mostly smells like candy but with a powdery quality So beautiful and sweet and is definitely one of my favourite perfumes in my collection even more than regular fantasy tbh It reminds me a little of mad love by Katy Perry going off memory alone but I don’t have that one currently to compare for sure. Bottle is also beautiful too and once I run out I’m gonna have to grab another

I cannot say enough good about this fragrance, I just enjoy it so much. Soft, fruity sweetness that sits close to the skin for hours. I don't mind it not projecting much; I think one of the reasons why I enjoy it so much is how it's not overwhelming or suffocating. It always sits just right on any occasion or season. Get it if you can!

I really like this perfume. It reminds me of midnight fantasy. It is noticeable in the red fruits and plum. But I like this one better because midnight is too strong for me and glitter is softer and fresher. My second favorite fantasy perfume after the original.💞

Love, love, love this scent! The berry and plum notes work so wonderfully together. Neither is competing or trying for first place; just working together in perfect harmony. It's sweet; it's girly; it's what I wear when I want to feel and smell cute.

Beautiful berries with just the right amount of Oud. Would wear all year round, not sure in extreme heat though as glitter is quite thick and would maybe be too much but perfect for summer nights when it’s a bit cooler. I love it 🪩

Probably the best fantasy flanker shes released. Reminds me of Summer days...I’m getting Taylor Swift/juicy couture juicy vibes. Fruity but also soft. Girly. Flirty. I’m dreading running out if this beauty.

I absolutely love this, smells like sweet strawberries. The OG fantasy smells a little sour for me at the beginning but this doesn't. It's so good, I'm in love.

Review is for my own reference - Love at first spray! I had wanted to get this for some time (less than a year :p) BC the bottle was gorgeous and I heard good things about it. It did not disappoint! The glitter bottle is something fun and new for the fantasy line. Right away you can smell the sweet red berries! I think it smells really good. It could read a bit juvenile though, but I don't care! Pretty bottle and it doesn't seem like the glitter will flake off and get messy so that is a bonus! If you don't like sweet scents, then pass on this one. I am happy to have it in my collection. I wonder if there would have been more hype around this perfume if it had been release at another time-2020 is basically all about covid. The opening reminds me a bit of MidnightF, bc there is a sweet-sour note and then you can smell the other notes. Not a dupe for MidnightF, but similar sharp sweetness. As this fades, I feel less excited about it. It starts to smell like a basic sweet floral scent. Like super basic body wash. Of all the Britney scents I've tried, this has the most unexpected dry-down! After a few hours, this smells similar to 007 in the black bottle- it would be beautiful with some spicy or woody notes! Not exactly the same but similar. After about 6 hours it smells like a faint Sunset Fantasy on the skin. I really like this one

To me this is a simple fruity floral that's more on the fresher side compared to Fantasy. It's still sweet, but not in a gourmand or candy way. It's pleasant, safe, and I highly doubt this would offend anyone. It feel like it would be a nice choice for springtime. The bottle is the girliest thing you'll ever see in your life, and I absolutely love it. The glitter is adhered really well, so you don't need to worry about it flaking off on your hands. It's REALLY pretty if that's the sort of thing you're into, and I feel that the fragrance represents it fairly well. As for "oud" being on the note list, I highly doubt it's the real thing or if it's really in there at all. If it is, its probably some accord that's trying to mimic it and either way, it's undetectable. I don't like oud so I'm sure if it was a really present note, I wouldn't be enjoying this at all. On another note, this layers SUPER nicely over Bath and Body works Strawberry Pound cake lotion. SO good. Update: It also layers well over bath and body works Raspberry Jam donut, Pink Chiffon and Strawberries and Snowflakes. So if you have any of those lotions or FFMs lying around and you like the sweetness they offer, try them with Glitter Fantasy!

Fantasy Glitter by Britney Spears is one of the more charming flankers in the Fantasy line, in my opinion. To me, it smells like slightly powdery red berries with a sparkly, almost fizzy feel. There’s something about it that comes across as bright and playful, but still soft around the edges. It opens with a burst of sweet red berries paired with a light powderiness that keeps it from feeling too syrupy. There’s a subtle shimmer to it, like sugared berries dusted with a fine cosmetic powder. It’s sweet, but not heavy. As it settles, it becomes smoother and a bit creamier, while still holding onto that berry-powder contrast. It doesn’t evolve dramatically, but it stays pleasant and cohesive throughout. Compared to the original Fantasy, this one feels lighter, less dense, and more fruity. Performance is decent—it lasted around 5–6 hours on my skin, with moderate projection in the first couple of hours before becoming more intimate. Overall, I really enjoy this one. It’s sweet, sparkly, and easy to wear, with just enough uniqueness to give it a bit of personality.

At first application I was underwhelmed by Glitter Fantasy, as it has a million scent-a-likes; KKW's BBF and the Ariana Grande fragrances - particularly the Sweet Like Candy ones - share strong similarities. I'd best describe the opening to Glitter Fantasy as being like walking into the Victoria's Secret beauty section; berries, sugar water and marshmallow. After a short while the fruity mix turns sharper, and this bite to the fragrance is what makes it stand out from the crowd; I think what I'm identifying is ruby grapefruit and cherry. I'm struggling to separate any floral or woody notes out of the fruit-heavy mix - some violet and maybe heliotope? I like Glitter Fantasy enough to have bought a bottle for a casual 'everyday' seasonal fragrance for the upcoming spring/summer months, whilst Superdrug have it at a low intro price. However it's not one of the brand's strongest releases and I personally wouldn't pay the full rrp for it.

Sour bubblegum with clean, fresh fruits - kiwi and plum to my nose, nothing red (maybe a bit of raspberry because of its sourness). It lacks depth and dries down to a simple vanilla. Bought this (16€ - 100mL) to get an idea of what the original Fantasy smells like, since many reviews of this perfume mentioned it being very similar it, but less sharp. The surprising part is that it only turns sweet on my skin after a good while, until then it's this fresh, sour, fruity smell that shouldn't be able to bother a sensitive nose. On top of that it's quite intimate, only projects at an arm's length for the first couple of hours max. A safe blindbuy in my opinion, especially for fruity lovers during hot summers. I'll be generously spraying my clothes and hair when I wear this.

got this for 15€ from a sale and haven't regretted! red fruits (especially strawberry) and plum are girly and cheerful which makes this a lovely scent for summer days but flowers and musk soften this quite a bit, making this suitable for all ages. Glitter Fantasy is kinda similar to Burberry Her but cheaper and undeniably more artificial, this reminds me of strawberry-smelling pens from childhood. but regardless, I like this and would recommend for anyone who wants a soft berry scent. this is an intimate skin scent but longevity is better than I expected. layer this with strawberry body cream and you smell like candy! I'll definitely wear this to my Barbie themed birthday party later on this month :)

Most of the show is in the top notes. Fruity. Sweet like florals rather than candy. It opens vibrant and youthful but not juvenile. Middle and base are a pleasant floral with a clean musk. I'm getting a slight hint of oud and no benzoin which is fine by me since I don't much care for either. Much weaker scent bubble on the dry down. This is a perfume designed to sell perfume. Put it on, put it on again to return to the top notes. What the heck just go ahead and over spray. A multi pump perfume for people who cringe at the idea of beast mode. Sweet. Friendly. Approachable. Well done.

This scent is such a delight! It smells like strawberry candy,or a fruity kids cereal. This smells like something that would come from a glitter-covered bottle! Sweet,youthful scent. Unfortunately ,the scent fades away very quickly. It completely vanishes. Fortunately,I have the big 3.3 oz. bottle,so I can spray away with abandon! The bottle is pink with silver glitter. It's not smooth;you can feel the the lovely texture of the glitter,but:don't worry:it won't flake off the bottle. The smooth cap is clear with silver glitter. All in all,beautiful bottle: poor longevity.

For a $20 perfume, I’m impressed. I tried Sunset Fantasy before this and was grossed out by how synthetic the fruit was. Which didn’t give me high hopes for Glitter Fantasy. But this one is definitely a few rungs above! Fresh strawberries and cream with clean white musk. Youthful, sparkling, and girly. The longevity is definitely where it lacks but with fragrances this cheap I don’t really care. I just wear them at home relaxing and spray with reckless abandon every hour or so 😝 Projection: 3/5 Longevity: 1.5/5

I love the fruity candy scent in the top notes, it’s very sweet and reminiscent of Midnight Fantasy and the violet in the middle notes is a soft, powdery candied violet, not a Marc Jacobs type of fresh violet. The dry down is great too, it’s pretty skin like. I just wish this lasted longer on me. I get about 3-4 hours from it, which is a little more than what I get with Sheer Fantasy.

A better name for this would have been Dream Fantasy because I think it would be a good bedtime scent. I dont notice any specific notes, just a powdery sweetness I am not a fan of. This is actually making me feel a little queasy. However I must say that the bottle is just beautiful! If you are a fan of powdery and sweet fragrances, this would be a good one for you.

It's a very pleasing red berry cuppie cake scent. I would recommend layering it with the original britney fantasy for longevity because once this fades you will need another scent to kick in. It's a pretty light fragrance

Delicious, as soon as I smelled this perfume I thought I had entered a pastry shop, it smells like shortcrust pastry, biscuity, buttery, this is what I smell, then the bottle is unique, wonderful, the most beautiful

Very cute bottle and the smell is nice too. Not her best but not awful either. For me the best fantasy is Rainbow fantasy which could have easily been a high end designer fragrance. Smells amazing!

This is like if you want something more clubbing, girly, less sweet with red fruits. If you think Fantasy OG is too sweet, I tried this, it's almost the same, a simple, more youthful combination.

Smells a little more "grown up" than most of her fragrances! It's not "syrupy sweet" in my opinion, which makes it more "wearable." Usually don't like her stuff, but this is pretty decent.

At first, this was fruity and a little different than the others but then I got the original fantasy/rocker femme notes, Making this one very unoriginal and pretty much fantasy.....

Honestly, this is very generic and boring. At least rainbow fantasy was kind of interesting. Oh well there's no crystals so no pressure!

Strawberry & vanilla deliciousness in a gorgeous glittery bottle. Projection is intimate. Great for a good value sweet perfume.

I don't care what it smells like, I want it! All of Britney's perfumes have been great blindbuys for me.

I am a little disappointed in Glitter Fantasy. I do not recommend blind buying for the outrageous prices online. Luckily I did not pay too much, if it weren’t for the adorable bottle, I would probably feel cheated. I feel there isn’t enough depth or warmth to win me over and I wish those base notes and the powderiness came through more. I prefer Britney’s Naughty and Nice Remixes and the original Fantasy and Perogative over this. Glitter and Hidden were blind buy fails as they’re both weak and lacking. The only notes I am getting are the berries, a little violet, and a little musk and I was excited for all the listed notes! :( I did layer this with Naked Fantasy and that gave it some oomph. I consider Glitter a girly pink fruity floral. In this category I prefer, Donna in Roma, Angel Nova edt and for a cheapie Perry Ellis 360 Coral. Those all have more depth, in my opinion and are more worth it than this boring body spray like scent.

Uh..did I get a bottle of fantasy? This is just fantasy...there’s nothing new here. It’s fantasy just not as sick strong as the original. It’s a softer version. It is nothing like fantasy in bloom, like some say. At all. If anything it’s rocker femme and intimate fantasy just not as heavy. The bottle is so pretty and such a waste of a bottle for a not exciting fragrance. At first spray it’s got a fruity cherry sweet scent. But then on the skin and clothes. It’s just fantasy but not as heavy. I get the intimate fantasy warmth, and the spicy fruity-warm vibe from rocker femme. It’s just one for the collection...nothing new.

First, before I leave my review I just want to ask, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH BRITNEY'S PERFUME IN THE USA?!? Her last 3 perfumes, Festive Fantasy, Glitter Fantasy, and Prerogative Ego, HAVE ONLY BEEN RELEASED IN EUROPE, WHY?!?! So I had to buy her perfume from a European website and then had to pay double what I paid for the perfume just to ship it to me. But the bottle is rather disappointing. I figured they would infuse the glitter in with the glass, but NOPE! They literally got a pink bottle and then sprayed it with a Glitter spray. The perfume itself smells REALLY good and you can definitely tell this is a part of the fantasy line. This smells almost identical to fantasy except instead of it being warm vanilla cupcake, Glitter is more of a warm vanilla candy. Imagine if Fantasy and Ariana Grande's Sweet Like Candy had a baby. The silage is typical for britney perfumes and it's price point. You can't expect a perfume that costs 30 dollars to last no longer than a few hours. Some of the comments are really acting like britney perfumes are some expensive designer perfume. Lol Britneys perfumes are even cheap for a celebrity perfume.

I'm OBSESSED with Britney Spears' entire perfume line but two. And that's Ego, and Glitter. They smell similar but it's a very light perfume that disappears in 5 minutes but smells very plasticy

Upon it's release early last year, i was skeptical on whether i should buy it because i seen multiple reviews from those who got it in the U.K., saying that it was too close to the original and wasn't worth buying. At that time, Glitter Fantasy was hard to find here for a reasonable price. So i made the decision to pass on this fragrance.....until several days ago lol. After purchasing Fantasy Intense, i had an itch to purchase Glitter Fantasy since it was available at very affordable price. And so that i did. Now upon first spray, i get a blend of the red fruits blended with that original Fantasy DNA, but it's not like some people described it. As the original Fantasy DNA calms, the Plum accompanies the red fruits about 30 minutes in, giving Glitter Fantasy it's own identity. It was a pleasant surprise for me because upon purchasing this, i had already accepted that it would be a watered down version of the original. About 2 hours in, there's some floral notes that peak out, but the red fruits and Plum remains prominent. It slightly reminds of something Juicy Couture would release because of the sweet berry accord. Glitter Fantasy lasted 4 hours on my skin with 2 feet of projection at best. I was able to test this fragrance twice in one day lol. Overall, for what i paid, I'm satisfied with this fragrance. It didn't wow me, but it definitely didn't disappoint. If you're interested in this fragrance, get it now while it's still affordable because it's not worth $100+ unless you're a die hard Britney fan. Scent: 7/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 5/10
