In Control Curious

After buying fantasy anniversary which I'm happy with it,I decided to buy other britney perfumes and curious in control seemed to be the best choice,I love vanilla gourmands,I love bonbon,I love thiz pompy automiser and since it was a limited edition,I knew this may be my only chance to own it,so I ordered it and received it yesterday Unfortunately my 3.3 oz bottle has a regular automiser andno charms,stii I was very excited to try it It opened with an alcoholic blast but after some minutes when alcohols faded,I could smell nothing!I was panicked and sprayed it again and again and sniffed my wrist very deeply,this time I detected a veryyy faint sweet scent but it was so faint I didn't know it's really there or I'm illusionating.I thought maybe I'm anosmic to it so I asked my hubby to smell my wrist and give opinion on it..he smelt and then looked at me with a puzzled face and said:give my opinion about what?! I decided to try it the other day,I thought maybe we are tired and our nose is blinded Today I sprayed it again with a fresh mind and a fresh nose on clean skin..this time there is less alcohol and I can detect a veryyy faint sweet scent,so shaked the bottle and sprayed 3sprays on a spot on my wrist and 3 other sprays beside the first spot.,yeay,that's it! Here is one of prettiest vanilla scents blended with some sweet orange/fruits with a hint of powdered orchid,I really looove it,soft and delicious. On me,it smells like biscuits which I'm addicted to eating them,they're rounded and there is some orange flavored cream between two biscuits,it also smells like a home made cake,made with fruity/orangy cake powder and frosted with vanilla cream,yum yum yum..it dries down to a soft powdery vanilla,sandalwood,still delicious and cozy I used to sniff my lulu delices when I needed something delicious and fruity vanilla and satisfy my hunger for something sweet and edible,but that was sometimes too much for me,too much sweet,too much intense,too much orangy..now I have in control to satisfy my gourmand needs when I want something softer..I can see similarities between this and bonbon..but bonbon is more peachy,It's stronger and it's vanilla is caramelized/buttery but in control vanilla is cake/biscuit like and there's more sweet orange than peach Believe me,this is the weakest perfumes I met..it's only noticeable when you spray any spot more than three times and sniff the spot very deeply and closely and after an hour,it's not there anymore so I think it's a not a fragrance the others can get it.I'm going to use it at home to enjoy it myself,if you want others to notice it you have to spray more than 10,even 15 sprays and refresh it every hour.and this isn't about my skin chemistry,it's that faint even on clothes.it's so faint that it's easily wearable year round it's a sweet gourmand but it's sweetness is the right amount,not too much or very sugary.in control is pretty but week Scent 4/5 Longevity and sillage 1/5

I've already reviewed this one,but now I see that I have to write a second review First I tried it,I was disappointed because it was very faint and fleeting and I saw it as a plain vanilla,kind of generic. it needed some time to grow on me and macerate because now I like it a lot and I know that I need to have it in my collection forever. it's that good and now my only sadness is because of it being discontinued. I'm a vanilla/gourmand lover so I have lots of vanilla fragrances but I have nothing similar.I tried V&R bonbon side by side with in control,there are similarities but as I've mentioned before,bonbon is more fruity/peachy..it's juicy,sharper and drydown is more buttery/caramelly. I love powderyness of Curious in control so for me bonbon can't be a satisfying dupe for in control(I kind of like Bonbon but I like Curious in Control a lot more) I also love how fruity notes blend with sweet notes in Britney's perfume.fruit notes linger beneath vanilla,but aren't sharp at all or dominant.it's a mixture of fruits like orange and peach and others and not a specific fruit note.it's sweetness isn't too much or sticky or syrupy.it's not childish and is veryyy cozy All in all,in control is super gorgeous.I'm really in love with it and each time I wear it,I feel I love it more.I was searching for such a vanilla scent for such a long time.this combination of powdery vanilla,creamy sweetness,fruits and warm woody notes.simple but very likable,enveloping and pretty..I douse myself in it and still I believe it's faint on my skin,but now I can feel a lovely sweet cloud that surrounds me and is very noticeable for at list an hour.after that this cloud becomes less intense but still remains with you for some good hours.It's a great before sleep perfume for me.warm,fluffy,soft and sweet as a dream My hubby doesn't comment on my perfumes often,also his not a fan of vanilla-ry scents,but as soon as he entered home,told me:which perfume are you testing today?it smells heavenly,please wear it more often. I was surprised because I've sprayed it two hours ago and I didn't expect it to be noticeable from more than two meters away.so it's not really faint I also tried layering it with lulu delices,which is a supersweet gourmand which reminds me of orange hard candies. layering it with Curious in control has an amazing result,delicious,strong and every gourmand lover's dream In control is a 5/5 for me,best of Britney's for me ❤❤❤❤❤

a lot of reviews describe Curious in Control as extremely sweet, dark, incensey and spicy. but my nose perceives it differently. on me it's sweet and yummy but I don't find it's sweetness, heavy or overwhelming. it's soft,creamy,powdery and delicious. I'm usually good at detecting individual notes but the notes are so well blended here that eventhough I can feel they're all there, I can't pick them out seperately. I can smell an almost peachy fruity accord which is not syrupy, juicy or sharp. It's more like cooked fruits in a pie or a peach flavored cake. I won't call CIC a very fruity scent.just a slight peachy,fruity undertone specially in first ten minutes of it's life. I can feel a creamy, fluffy gourmand accord which I perceive differently at different times. It sometimes feels like caramel, sometimes I'm detecting whipped cream, I see it as spun sugar sometimes and sometimes it reminds me of cotton candy. this gourmand accord isn't really dark or spicy and doesn't have a burnt vibe. It's smooth and airy. there's also this soft, powdery musky, woodsy, floral vanilla. it's a cupcake vanilla to my nose, not a boozy or spicy vanilla I recommend Curious in Control to anyone who likes a creamy, fluffy, powdery vanilla gourmand Curious in Control is pretty linear on me but it never gets boring or cloying and I find it wearable year round. I can see similarities between CIC and V&R Bonbon but I like Curious in Control a lot more. It also has similarities to Al Rehab Dalal It barely lasts 4 hours on me and has a lovely but small/ close to skin scent bubble. I like layering it with Prada Candy, Jessica Simpson Fancy, Hugo Boss Orange EDP and Gold Sugar I bought mine almost ten years ago and it doesn't have the pump atomizer or the charm. I really wish they bring back this one, also Nice and Naughty Remix, Rocker Femme and Rainbow Fantasy. It's a shame that best Britney Spears perfumes are discontinued BTW, Curious in Control has nothing to do with Curious. totally different genres of fragrance

Wore it in my youth <3 Was such a softly sweet, fluffy, creamy, sexy fragrance as far as I can remember. Included in the first boxed edition was the addition of a vintage looking vaporizer so you could swap out the atomizer option :) Edit: Just scored a bottle on eBay, now awaiting its arrival. Will report back if there's anything worth mentioning. CAUTION: If you are chasing old favs, steer clear of eBay! Just received, excitedly opened and found it had gone RANCID guys! So disappointed! Although sealed (in a very damaged box), the cellophane was loose fitting, not tight as with normal manufacturing. Was missing the additional vaporizer where there was clearly a space at the top for it and clearly stated on the box. And the bottle also had dust on it! Having never been opened, doesn't explain how it could get dusty inside a sealed box. Very sus. Though this fragrance is spoiled, I detected something I'd forgotten about in the notes; I was reminded of my memory association with this and 'Pop Rocks'. They were small packets of sweet, tiny, toffee-like, crystalline chips we would buy as kids in Australia. They would crackle and pop as they dissolved in your mouth, such fun! If anyone remembers those, this fragrance has that similar sweet crackling texture, to my nose anyway. This will be the last time I get burnt chasing these discontinued treasures. I'm resigned to hold this beauty perfectly untouched in my imperfect, fragmented memories. Seems I've chased my last unicorn :(

Thanks to the kindness of a fellow member, I recently added In Control to my fragrance wardrobe. Let me tell you about my new found delight.... First off - yes, this is more or less body spray concentration. But I wear body spray all the time and enjoy it very much. The bulky bottle is crazy - a purple UFO! However, if you can find the space, no problem. After all, body sprays aren't space savers or beauty queens either and we still purchase them. This won't set you back much money and might even prove to be a favorite. OK, so I first wore In Control over a holiday when I was sure no one would notice - too many good cooking smells from the kitchen, right? Wrong. I was complemented consistently when I thought the scent had utterly vanished. It lingers on clothes and hair, softly but persistently, for hours and hours. On first try, I genuinely liked In Control. Now - after several days wear - a new favorite! Gorgeously blended, soft, and beautiful. My best summary would be Purple Orchids, Musk, and Caramel, perfectly melded into a light balsamic elixir. The gentle cloud of scent surrounding me is more Oriental than Gourmand, but a very sweet Oriental at that. Fruity notes are indistinct and mild, adding to the purple feel but not clamoring for attention themselves. In Control has now rocketed from 'like' to 'love' and gives me a great deal of olfactory pleasure. Overall, not a bad feat for a 'mere' Celeb scent!

I really must remark again what a pleasant surprise this odd looking bottle proved! To be honest, I'm not fond of the original Fantasy and most of Britney's scents in general. Why? They are rich in fruity-tooty appeal, such as passion fruit, that goes sour and strange on my skin. And fruity scents just generally smell funky to me. Happily, Curious In Control gives an entirely different scent impression, despite the list of notes. The fruit here is rather like that in Victoria Secret Amber Romance. Yes, feminine and pleasant and seductive! The musk and amber-ish impression from Amber Romance is present also. Probably the tonka mimics a feeling of amber. The crowning note here is ORCHID! If you love sweet Orchid scents, look no further. This is charming, friendly, quickly complemented, and familiar - but not identical to anything else I own. Again, Amber Romance is the closest fragrance that comes to mind, and it is a cousin, not a twin in any way. If you like one, however, you will probably enjoy the other. Those who hate sweet, powdery, or orchid based florientals must look elsewhere... To sum up, if the current price continues, a good value. Though the longevity is not perfect, by spraying on hair and fabric I've experienced good sillage and generous complements. And I NEVER receive complements on scents that have no sillage! Five Stars - very happy indeed.

In control for some reason is her only marketed limited edition scent that I know of and I don’t get it . I find this to be more of my style than the original curious . I remember when this launched I could not find it anywhere besides the px exchange and by the time I got around to buying it they pulled it . Years later I saw it at kohl’s and that’s when I got it . They pulled it again afte that . I wish Elizabeth Arden would make up their damn mind with this perfume! I don’t use it as much as fear prevents me from doing so of never getting another bottle again . I don’t understand why fragrance companies do this crap it’s annoying! This scent itself is very discreet I think it’s a toned done creamy version of fantasy , don’t get me wrong I love fantasy but sometimes the Orris root gives me a raging headache. I find the caramel to be a different Britney note since she doesn’t use it much so it’s a nice additional to the vanilla paring in this . I find I can’t smell it in me but others can . I love this perfume and it I will always cherish it

Oops she did it again!! Another FABULOUS sweet, gourmand masterpiece!! I am sooo loving this. I FINALLY got a sample after being "curious" (lol) about this scent for months. I am obsessed with gourmand scents, so naturally this appealed to me. At first whiff I got caramel. Maybe more of a dulce de leche, but definitely a caramelly-type sweetness with almost a milky quality. The vanilla and tonka are there for sure as well. I don't know EXACTLY what orchid smells like, but I have noticed that orchid is also in Jimmy Choo (which I am OBSESSED with) so I'm thinking that I really must love orchid. This is such a sugary treat! Its soft and sweet and delicious. To be honest, this is everything I expected and more. It's also kind of the type of scent I expected when I tested Fancy and Candy, yet they just didn't deliver the way this one does. I can't wait to buy a full bottle! I am not a fan of the look of the bottle, but the juice is so good that I do not care! XOXO Britney!!!

Let me start by saying that I was not a fan at all of the original Curious; it was way too sharp and floral on my skin. This is nothing like the original. It's a smooth, creamy, deep and alluring gourmand. It doesn't change much from start to finish, on my skin it's a blend of crème brûlée, tonka bean, vanilla and musk. The result is captivating! I find that it has a slightly boozy quality to it, almost like a fine champagne. For my 21st birthday, my sister bought me dark chocolates that were filled with various flavors of alcohol; this perfume reminds me a lot of how the champagne flavored one tasted. Lasting power is impressive, it lasts about 5 hours strongly on my skin. I normally wear this at night and when I do, I can often detect it on my clothes the next morning. This is one of those scents that I catch whiffs of it on myself and think, "Mmmm, I smell delicious!" It's very food-like, so if you're a fan of gourmands, give it a go!

I'm really attached to this. It's a true gourmand - very sweet and sort of juvenile but not overly so. The creme Brule note is what sticks out the most for me. It lasts and lasts too. Sticks around on clothes even longer. Maybe because my bottle has been sitting for YEARS ( 7 or 8) that it has become so sweet, creamy, dark and boozy, but the actual smell hasn't really changed. It only got better. I think this is one of the only perfumes I've ever been complimented on ( I generally don't get close enough for anyone to be able to smell me) so I'm guessing this has some sillage going on. This isn't easy to get your hands on, but as I'm writing this, FragranceCanada (n/a) have a few in stock. A bit pricey, but I still jumped on it and got a backup for myself because my 8 year old bottle is close to being used up and I have no clue if I'll ever find this again. The memories attached to this are very precious to me.

This is an OG fruity sweet edible scent that never had a lot of momentum or talk but it’s such a solid fragrance. Bon bon is extremely similar and you’d think this was the copy being bon bon is so popular but this was the blueprint. The opening can be sharp but give it just a few moments and it settles into a sweet fruity creamy dream. It’s a shame they discontinued it. You can find it online from sellers at reasonable prices, just make sure you verify the batch codes. Definitely a hidden gem in the Britney lineup. This would be cool to see a come back of it. Performance is pretty good and you can smell it around you. If you can find it at a good price, pick it up, you’ll for sure be surprised with the quality but most Britney perfumes are hidden gems in todays fragrance market. I would prefer this one to the original curious but both are great but polar opposites.

Curious In Control is easily one of my all time favourites. To me its like the cousin of Viktor & Rolf Bonbon but sister to Jeanne Arthes candyland. It smells more similar to Candyland which I prefer but it is longer lasting & projects amazingly the way Bonbon does. To sum it up it has the best features of the 2. I don't love the bottle but it's worth it for the juice inside which I find so addictive! Edit: I'm delighted to find out that Curious In Control came out first so the OG is actually Curious In Control making Bonbon the dupe even though it's triple the price 😂 Second edit: I have tested Bonbon & Curious In Control side by side (on each wrist) & I love them both! They have similarities but I love having them both in my collection. Bonbon has more caramel & Curious In Control has more vanilla. Its absolute bliss when I layer them together 😍

I can't speak yet to the longevity of this but it is really nice. Very similar to V&R BonBon. So similar in fact, it makes me a wee bit embarrassed that I ever spent so much on that cute bow bottle! This has the same delicious caramel/creme brûlée base with fruity top accords that keep it light and fresh. It's rich without being nauseating. This is the ONLY BS fume I can stand, and I mean only. The others were a chemical mess on me that never reached cupcake bliss. This, however, fits the gourmand bill quite nicely and I don't feel glutinous if I spray once too much, both financially and calorically ;-) So all in all, even if this doesn't last for hours on end, this is a success for me. But as usual, it's the one that was discontinued. Such a shame, and yet I can hardly feel bad for being snubbed by BS!

This perfume was everything to me in my early 20’s. I must have used 4 bottles. I was lucky to buy it the first time around with the atomizer and the pink chain. It made me feel so pretty when I spritz it on with the atomizer by my dresser. If I would have known that would be the only time I was able to have that atomizer I would have saved it. The other bottles I bought came with a regular spray and no chain. Now the scent opens with a very soft vanilla bean, lily scent. I can later smell spun sugar, orchid and caramel. The scent stays close to my skin so I do spray it heavy handed. I love it. For me I can wear it any season. It’s a soft vanilla brûlée and it does go better with a soft vanilla Shea lotion. It may not be that special of a scent for many but for me it will always be dear to my heart!

I am finding myself drawn more and more towards sweet/gourmand scents lately. I bought this several months ago, sniffed it once and thought I'd probably swap it or pass it on to my daughter. Apparently, I am becoming a perfume snob (!) because when I started reading reviews of this mentioning it's similarity to Bonbon, which I have only sampled and LOVED, I gave this a well-deserved full trial and now I've decided I love it, as well! Is it because of the comparisons to Bonbon that I love it or was I pushed to give it a real chance because of it...I don't know; all I know is that there is a very definate similarity between this and V&R Bonbon and it's delicious. I pick up a great deal of sandalwood in this, which lends a high-end feel to the dry-down. Shame about the awkward bottle, though...

I have most of Britney’s fragrance collection with the exception of maybe 5 bottles and have had a few that I traded off or simply returned because I didn’t care for them. This and the extremely hyped Rainbow Fantasy that pretty much disappeared were the last 2 that I wanted to get. I’m glad I finally decided to order this one as I think it’s one of her most underrated scents! This is dark and sexy and it’ll be perfect for the upcoming cooler weather. Yes it’s sweet but it’s more of a seductive sweet compared to Fantasy which has more of a playful type of sweetness. Most of her Fantasy line was too saccharine/artificially sweet for my liking except for Midnight Fantasy which is my absolute favorite fragrance from Britney. But now Midnight has some competition!

I'm wearing this perfume today, and just got back from my accountant's office. She leaned in and asked me what I was wearing, saying that it smelled so wonderful. I can't smell it all that well on myself, but apparently others can! I blind bought this from Scented Monkey ($16.63 for the 3.3 oz tester!) because of the wonderful reviews here, and because I really wanted a perfume that smelled like creme brulee. I don't know if it smells EXACTLY like creme brulee with the caramelized sugar on top, but it definitely smells (when I bury my nose into my arm) like some sort of creamy vanilla-like desert. Thus, this goes in my "love" category. Careful, though...don't douse yourself with it because you can't smell it on yourself! Others definitely will be able to.

I blindbuyed this, thinking this may be my signature (pink/black/leopard package, delicious notes and c ́monn, it ́s Britney, i trust that bitch:)). But it ́s not right now. The smell is cuddly,sweet and pleasant, this is how i imagine pink cloud would smell like:) (in a good way). Longetivity is moderate, but i found sillage weak. I can imagine beautiful woman who ́s completely happy with her life wearing this, and her beloved man smelling her hair, feeling the best fragrance in world for him. But now i ́m 25 and single, looking for something louder and more daring. So this nice one is staying on the shelf, waiting for me to calm down :)

Smokey sexy young vanilla, I love this sent but it's too bad that it doesn't last!!! I feel like it has a young vibe to it cause the vanilla is not very complex like say Armani si, and the smokey Creme brûlée note is also not nearly as smokey, sexy and dark as La nuit Tresor. Another reason I feel like this perfume screams young because it doesn't have very serious performance. Also my sprayer is weak and only puts out a half spray and so I end up spraying it 15 times per application. I think it's because the bottle is so squat and the tube is short. I still like it though and use it when I'm at home and not worried about longevity.

i quite like this one! it can be a little nauseating, so people who are sensitive to scents please be cautious when purchasing this perfume. it definitely fits in the “Fantasy” category rather than the “Curious” line. i’m getting Vanilla, musk and some faint florals from this. if you liked Fantasy you’ll find this one to be nice as well. lasting power wasn’t too much of an issue like some were saying, however i reapply often so this is probably why i don’t see that issue. the packaging is very gorgeous. you’re pretty much getting what you payed for, so don’t expect a “Bon Bon” quality perfume for $30/$40. i rate this 7/10.

This is what I wanted "Private Show" to be! I'm surprised that cream or milk is not listed as a note. The vanilla seems more like a background note with cream as the star player. It's very lactonic on my skin, like fresh whipping cream rather than the whipped cream on a latte. I'm going to try layering this with Philosophy's Fresh Cream" even though it's totally unnecessary as "In Control Curious" ACTUALLY lasts for hours, which always surprises me in a celeb cheapie. The French boudoir design of the bottle- which is quite heavy!- is soo precious. I get annoyed with fragrances very quickly, but I am addicted to this one.

This is one of my staples. I've gone through several bottles and I just can't seem to be without it. It's mysterious, I don't get many florals although what I do get is slightly fruity with crene brulee as the prominent note. A bit boozy on initial application, a good thing in my opinion, that booziness soon fades and I get the caramel goodness smell. This was one of Britney's earlier scents and it seems like she got it right in the beginning. I'm not a huge fan of the hundred fantasy flankers ( except Maui fantasy which should be a stand alone frag) or the doubling of some scents she has done but I love this!

If you are a fan of dessert perfumes, than you will absolutely love this one! I think this is the most dessert like of all Britney's perfumes. This scent reminds me of fresh baked cupcakes. The vanilla and creme brulee notes are present and do not disappoint. Even though it's sweet, it's not insanely overpowering which I appreciate. This was definitely a big change from the original curious, and to me it always seemed like it belonged more in the Fantasy line. I just wish this one wasn't discontinued. Britney please bring this one back! It's a dessert lovers dream perfume.

After 5 whole years of collecting Britney Spears' Fragrances, I am now going to write a review for each one of them. I can't say for sure that I dislike any of her fragrances, but I'm going to try to be as honest as possible, In Control Curious. One of my favorite Britney Fragrances. It is a Vanilla Bomb and sickingly sweet in a good way. It reminds me of a baked cake when you have to add some syrup so it isn't dry. Such a great fragrance for cold weather; Too bad silage and longevity are lacking in this one. If you find one, love it, since it's discontinued.

I love this fragrance! I was actually getting a bit tired of gourmand fragrances, but this one I really like. I think it's because the vanilla and tonka beans are in the middle notes instead of in the base notes. It just makes them less strong when the perfume has dried down a bit. And most of the time vanilla and tonka would be in the base notes, so maybe that's it. And is it just me, or do BS fragrances always have a bit of a fresh laundry vibe to them. Even Curious in control smells very , very slightly of fresh laundry in my opinion.

I'm so glad I was able to find this on amazon for 18 bucks ! this is one of britney spears best fragrances. It's creamy, sexy and alluring. I agree that it doesn't stay on as long as her others but I find it doesn't give me a headache sometimes like fantasy does. I remember smelling this back in the day and actually liking it the best of her releases at that time. I wish she did more curious flankers but sadly they aren't as popular as the fantasy collection. The bottle is beautiful, I love the black and pink detail.

This was a blind buy for me... I find that it lasts very long on my clothes, but not on my skin sadly...It's a pleasant, barely-there scent. It reminds me of when I tested Prada Candy actually.... I may be way off? But it's subtle, sweet and caramel-y (in a synthetic way). I like it, but won't repurchase. I think Prada Candy was too expensive for what you get IMO, and even this one being so cheap just doesn't make the cut for me due to poor longevity and sillage. I douse myself in this every time I wear it.

The name is really misleading for this fragrance, you'd probably expect something similar to that of the original curious but its completely different! On first spray you do smell alcohol but that quickly goes away to make room for a very sweet but pleasant fragrance. It isnt overbearing or sickly sweet it is soft and just right. I tend to agree with people who say its Prada Candy without the benzoin. I love this perfume! definitely dont hesitate to try this one if you love gourmands! it wont disappoint

Oh my. Now this here is what I call a gourmand fragrance! It smells of the crème brûlée and vanilla as promised - sillage is quite soft but noticeable. Very much a dessert-type scent for anyone with a fragrance sweet-tooth! Overall creamy and dreamy. Tempts you to keep smelling your wrist because it's oh-so-sweet and not too strong. Unfortunately my flacon (100ml) is missing the cute spray puff and chain. But either way I think this is something to definitely re-buy in the future!

It is now February and I still enjoy this so much!!! I have decided this is THE vanilla for me that I crave. I LOVE musk..I LOVE vanilla..this is really just perfect. I also really like that its never 'too much' I can get away with around 4 or 5 sprays and have this last all day and it never gets 'too much' through out the day. I decided to buy a back up bottle of this for safe keeping since it is discontinued. If you love sultry, musky vanilla frags this is IT!!!

We have managed to get hold of the original atomizer, it really complements the dresser. Fruity top notes immediately apparent after the alcohol fades, then in dry down becomes a creme brulee musk. Very sensual scent that opens with boozy alcoholic Alderhyde feel which very quickly turns to a sweet and intoxicating foody cocktail. This perfume even feels like syrup on the skin and lasts about 6 hours then last 2 hours are close to the skin.

This is one of those unexpectedly great perfumes for me, even as a fan of the impressive quality of Ms. Spear’s scents. It’s deep, dark, incense-y, exotic, and a little risque. The sandalwood is beautifully present throughout with the sweet notes. I absolutely love it and cannot stop smelling my wrist when I wear it. Very seductive. The packaging could not be more perfect - it is night in a faceted black bottle. Longevity 9/10 Sillage 8/10

Oh Britney Spears...there are so many designer, top-notch perfumes out there, but yet for some reason I just can't stay away from yours!! Funny, a lot of people compare Fantasy with Pink Sugar, but on first application, this is the one that I find to be more similar. It's just so sweet, so sugary, so girly, so sexy, so wonderful, so yummy! Makes me feel like a teenager again. And it lasts and lasts all day long. Keep them coming Britney!!

Really quite different to the original Curious. Very strong tonka bean opening, similar to coffee beans, and then gradually balances with the vanilla and sweet notes which are a bit like gummy bears or midget gems! Unfortunately the longevity is as bad as everyone says, but it’s very affordable so I smother myself with it for nights out! Eventually settles as a very sweet fruity-floral skin scent. Quite a stand out in the curious line!

this is easily the best Britney Spears fragrance ever released, hands down. gosh i wish this would be re-released with the same exact formula. this smells nothing like the OG curious perfume, but i like that as i find the OG curious to be too soapy floral. this is such a beautiful well-blended creamy vanilla and sandalwood scent on my skin which is right up my ally. this is the most underrated Britney fragrance imo.

Just got this today and all i can say is, it's absolutely amazing!! I'm so glad it smells nothing like the original (which I find smells very old lady-ish and overly floral.) This is a gourmand lovers dream, caramel, vanilla, something a bit spicy (cinnamon, perhaps?) Beautiful, powdery dry down. Great projection too, I only sprayed once and for once I don't have to put my wrist to my face, perfect. New favourite!!

it looks like a UFO but it smells soooooo beautiful. It has depth , uniqueness, sensuality, richness, sweetness, erotic, exotic, hypnotic, earthly, fluidity, and initial airy opening. It is definitely in a class of it own. No sharpness, no headache, no bitterness, no chernobyl atomic blast into my my face. It's just soothing mellow sweet erotic dream in a bottle. I love this scent even more than Britney's Fantasy.

I own 24 Britney Spears perfumes as of today, and this one will always be in the top 3 for me. It's just perfect. It's sweet, but not too in-your-face sweet like the OG Fantasy. It can definitely pass as a niche perfume. It's cozy, warm, and seductive. It's mysterious. It's sensual. If you find one, make sure to purchase it, as it is really a hidden gem in the Britney Spears perfume empire.

Yummyyy musky vanilla with a hint of floral!! Not cloying or foody, very lovely! I feel like im the only one that doesnt think this smells like bonbon? I have bonbon and in control and they are not that close at all. Bonbon is darker/syrupy/caramel while in control is light/vanilla/flower/musk...they smell very different to me! I love britney's fragrances, they always wear very well on me!

Everytime I wear this I fall in love with it again, I always forget how beautiful it is! Pure sweet vanilla it's probably more more for a young demographic because it's so playful and so sweet but Gourmand lovers of any age will love this. Initially there is a burst of of alcohol but this quickly fades, simply stunning fragrance which I feel should be more known and popular.

My sixteen year old self didn't like this at all. My current year old self LOVES it!! In Control Curious is deliciously sweet. It's not overly sugary and has hints of black coffee and vanilla. It's a very close second to Private Show as my favourite Britney fragrance and (if memory serves correctly) doesn't have any resemblance whatsoever to Curious.

I was a little skeptical about buying this, since Britney drags are hit or miss with me, the original curious being a total miss on me. But I soon learned I was wrong, this is quite delightful! It smells like a sweet and salty, creamy caramel dessert. I just finished my court bottle and can't wait until I have the chance to grab another.

I have a 100 ml flacon. It's a beautiful sweet, warm and sexy scent. I really smell créme brulée. This fragrance smells many hours. But I was disappointed.. 100 ml have a classic atomizer (no balloon pump) and flacon without the decorative "in control" chain. The flacon has become ordinary, uninteresting and on the shelf is not pretty.

Love this fragrance. It's perfectly sweet and what I imagine a cute fancy french pastry shop in Paris to smell like. Idk about you but this fragrance lasts forever on me. I was afraid it would project too far because of how strong it is to me. One spray and a constant stream of powdery vanilla sugar fills my nostrils. I love it.

This is such an addictive scent. I much prefer to to the rest of Britney's line. It's sweet but not cloying, it has a boozy quality to me that makes it smell like a creamy vanilla licquer. It lasts all day on clothes but doesn't project alot. I keep wanting to sniff my shirt when I spray this. I will buy again when I run out.

I am a big fan of Britney Spears perfumes, and I’m continually delighted by how good they are. Curious In Control is HIGHLY addictive. It envelopes you like a weightless silk kimono. It’s absolutely delicious! There is an initial superficial resemblance to Hypnotic Poison but CIC is much juicier and more complex. I love it!

One of my all time favorite Britney fragrances! I’m wearing it right now and I always get very sweet and caramel, with black licorice and coffee. Plus this is great for the winter, it reminds me of winter mornings; the sun isn’t up and it’s lightly snowing and everyone’s on their way to work or school. Great buy too! ❤️❤️❄️

We have different ways of smelling certain perfumes. When I first smell this it was just awful, until I tried and wait for a month to get used to it. And then I bought and take time of how my skin gonna react to it, and it turns out its amazing. P.S. Amazing after shower summer night/days fragrance.

I'm so disappointed that I took so long to purchase this scent. Sweet, creamy and musky. The vanilla packs a punch which usually turns me off but it works so well in this scent. The scent didn't last for more then an hour which I was very disappointed about but I can deal since it's so nice.

LOVE it! Sweet sweet sweet! Smells kind of sophisticated and definitely not cheap. I guess they don't make it anymore, because the bottle I bought in March was made in 2012 according to its batch code. So I'll have to use it up fast, although I'd like to save it, because it's just that good.
