Jungle Fantasy

I can't believe how under the radar this release came to be. When I first heard of it I thought it might be a joke because of its kind of risqué name... "Jungle Fantasy" while playing on the "Fantasy" names of her previous scents does have a stigma attached to it, but even with all the "free Britney" stuff going on m, nothing seemed to raise hackles or interest in the fragrance release, which is unfortunate because this one is quite a gem. I bought it without knowing what it smelled like so it was a gamble but because I have loved her releases since Curious was gifted to me for Chrismas way back in 04, I have loved some of her scents and she seems to have a real lucky streak for putting out good ones (I do love the original Fantasy too) I first sprayed this just onto the box to get a sense of it and make sure it didn't have anything awful going on, but then I sprayed it right on my skin. Its opens quite.. fresh. The "violet leaf, yuzu and watermelon" smell like a fresh shower, like right after you get out the shower and you smell just clean and refreshed, then it hits you with a floral note, like the description says "hints of gardenia, Gustavia flower and water lily." And then it mellows out to the warm "tonka and cupcake." So it does match up to its descriptions but I really get a "fresh shower" followed by a light floral note then a warm finish. I think it is a divine fragrance and another win for the fragrance house of Britney Spears. The only negative about it, and this is common with her scents is that it is not the longest lasting scent. You can implore the many tricks of the trade to get it to last longer (applying over scent free emollients, etc) but I believe it is worth it. I got this for a fairly low price and will thoroughly enjoy it, and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous and luxe feeling. I would totally recommend and think it is fabulous. I feel bad it went seemingly sight unseen it has more reviews Herr than anywhere else I've seen but more can't hurt.

This is one of the few Fantasy perfumes that I genuinely like the scent of and doesn’t smell too much like a shampoo. I can’t wear shampooey perfumes because I find them screechy. jungle Fantasy isn’t screechy and is juicy and wearable and genuinely has a good watermelon note in it. Unfortunately it really does wear like a body spray. It’s a real shame because this is much more of a true watermelon scent than Island fantasy, but it lasts for about 5 minutes before becoming a skin scent and then it’s gone within about an hour. It’s better on clothing but yeah.... They really are taking the p!ss with this one! The 100ml only cost me £15, and I still feel like I was robbed 😅 Edit - I'm obsessed with this after a few wears in very hot and humid weather. I got a compliment on it when I'd had it on for a while too, so maybe I just go a bit anosmic to it myself? I genuinely despise L'Imperatrice and Be Delicious (sour, sharp and chemically to my nose!) so i don't get a strong similarity between those and Jungle Fantasy..... I think the faint cupcake note might be what's making this more palatable to me. Not that I normally go for cupcake perfumes but I like the sort of sweet and ever so slightly plasticy accord it creates within this composition. I liked it straight away but didn't think it would become a love, and I actually love this on a hot day now!

Jungle Fantasy is currently my favorite fantasy flanker for everyday wear. It's one of those shampoo-type flankers (if you're familiar with the shampoo in question, you'll immediately associate it with that scent), but that's not a problem here. Firstly, the scent is very clean and pleasant, and secondly, the top notes have the distinction of remaining largely identifiable throughout the day, which is quite rare and worth praising. It's very juicy, like a blend of ripe watermelon and beautiful tropical flowers. As time goes on, the base reveals itself, quite simple but making all the difference: a base closer to biscuit than cream, which prevents the fragrance from becoming cloying while still allowing it to last all day. I love leaving my office and returning to smell the cute little sweet/floral cloud it has left behind! This fragrance doesn't have the over-the-top character of Did It Again, for example; it's quite tame, much more so than its name suggests, but it remains rather sweet and fruity. Its truly interesting aspect is its dominant ozonic/aquatic character, supported by a gourmand base—it really works and it's surprising. I also note that this one seems much more unisex than most Fantasy fragrances.

UPDATE: I am giving this to a friend. Not because I don't love her (because I do!), but because I don't wear her anymore. I'm sad to report the longer she's sat on my shelf, the weaker she has become. Which really bums me out. Couple that with the almost chemically opening (to me)--I'm going to pass it onto someone who truly enjoys every aspect of the fragrance. ___________________________________________________________ One of my favorite Britney fragrances! I didn't have super high expectations on it, but let me tell you: it has a photorealistic watermelon scent, the gardenia is beautiful, and the cupcake gives it a sweet little something. Longevity on me isn't great, but I re-apply! Not overpowering, it's a very well done skin scent. It reminds me of a high end baby shampoo or lotion but not in a synthetic way. In the way a new baby has that new baby smell--you know what I'm talking about? This is one I auto grab when I'm not sure what I want to wear that day.

The name is misleading. I absolutely can't imagine the jungle smelling like that. With a name like that, I can't help but think of Kenzo's Jungle... It's completely different! On the other hand, it's a lovely creation, both aquatic and airy, fruity but not too sweet, floral but light. If in the '90s you loved "Eau d'Eden," "Eau par Kenzo," or "Eau d'Issey," this Britney Spears is for you! I was looking for a fresh and light fragrance for sunny days, it's done ! You can go heavy-handed (I actually recommend it), because unfortunately, it's a bit weak. And as usual with "Fantasy," what a lovely bottle!

I absolutely love this fragrance! Smells like a sweet and fresh watermelon candy shampoo. It does have cupcake in it which is noticable to my nose because of the sweetness this fragrance has but it does not share the DNA with the original Fantasy cupcake. This is the sweet version of Island Fantasy (I have only ever smelled the body mist of Island Fantasy) that reminds me of sour watermelon candy. Three sprays of Jungle Fantasy lasts on me all day, but it is subtle and gets weaker over time. But I personally don’t find myself the need to reaply. This is my new favorite fragrance for summer!

Of course I will end up buying and wearing this, fool that I am for Britney Spears perfumes. I have never heard one of her songs all the way through and probably wouldn't care about her music, but the Fantasy fragrances are at the worst wearable and at the best wonderful. Sounds like the danger is that Jungle Fantasy could be sharp and ozonic. Nevertheless, I can't wait. Love the green. The bottle looks wicked, like a poisonous fruit.🐯 She needs to do a purple one. (We are doing reviews even though we have not smelled it because we are Fantasy fans and get excited about new releases.)

This is a straight up hair product fragrance and I'm here for it lol. It has that specific fresh, ozonic aerosol hairspray smell that's hard to describe, along with a wet generic fruity sweetness and light florals. The watermelon is subtle, but it's there, and the waterlily is soft and cute. And I can kind of detect the cupcake note in the drydown, if I'm really looking for it lol. Overall, very clean, fresh, young, cute and playful - perfect for the hot summer days! For anyone looking for something more watermelon forward, I would recommend Sorbetto Rosso by Escada!

Jungle Fantasy is a wonderfully fresh, tropical and sweet scent. I really love it! The first thing you smell is of course the juicy watermelon and the delicious yuzu, but then, dear fragranticas, the fantastic, rare and unusual Gustavia flower sneaks in and smells heavenly! Gustavia augusta – The Heavenly Lotus Tree is native to Brazil. Its cup-shaped flowers are large, waxy and white, with colorful sepals. The fragrance, emitted at night, is intoxicatingly sweet and delicious! Not many perfumes have Gustavia flower as a note. Love, love, love it!

I blind bought it and, oh boy, it was love at first spray. This is my fourth Britney perfume and so far my favorite (i also own Curious, Circus and Midnight fantasy and I'll probably buy more). The performance is not that great, but i love it so so much regardless. While it doesn't last that long on the skin, maybe around 2 hours, sprayed on clothes it lasts for days. It's sweet, it's watery, completely inoffensive to my sensitive nose and I'll probably wear it every day this summer. Very much a frutiger aero fragrance in my opinion.

I am no Britney fan, and this is the first Fantasy perfume I've bought. I did get Curious as a gift about 15 years ago, but I did not like it. This one on the other hand... Initially, I was put off by the quite weak longevity, but as I used it more and more, it has become my current favourite parfum and I am sure I will buy it again. Very fresh, green and lovely, slightly sweet towards the end, it is overall a sublime scent. I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, ozonic and green scents, such as L'eau par Kenzo.

Opens as a bright, fresh fruity floral with aquatic and green nuances. It has a clean, shampoo like feel with an uplifting citrus brightness that gives it an energetic touch. As it reaches the heart notes, sleek gardenia and subtle exotic florals come forward, adding a refined elegance, still keeping the scent light and youthful. Longevity is minimal on me. It softens pretty quickly, becomes more grounded, and develops a slightly lotusy feel before fading out by the drydown. Overall, very pleasant and well done.

I took it last night, I sprayed a little on the lid directly, it smelled like watermelon with soapy water, maybe it's the water lily that does it, it faded (I was expecting something different, it smells like a jungle or something like that) then it became more floral and closes slowly with a sweet cupcake note. For me, this is sick because it has this sweet smell all the time, I think it is very refreshing for summer/spring, it will be a nice summer/spring fragrance. 10/10 love it🩷

So I bought this perfume when it came out.I love the bottle.It's one of my favorite color combinations.And it's just so pretty, and it smells so beautiful.It's light perfect for hot summer days.Kind of reminds me of lip smackers, the lip gloss, it just smells so good and it takes me back to elementary school.It doesn't last very long for the price point.It's expected, but I could see this being perfect.All year round the bestI can describe this easy breezy and beautiful cover girl

Perfect for hot steamy weather when you want to smell fresh and clean like you just took a shower under a waterfall in a rainforest. Smells like cucumber and watermelon. Only complaint is it doesn’t last but for the price and the type of fragrance it is that can be expected. Love this flanker but it has absolutely no similarity to the OG fantasy imo, I definitely don’t get the cupcake note.

I already bought it. 💚 Because I'm a fan of Britney and all her fragrances. It's just another Eau De Toilette... Although it's a beautiful, fresh, very fruity fragrance, it fades quickly on the skin. It's a shame because it's so beautiful... especially because the first 30 minutes are an explosion of Watermelon and Gustavia. Drying leaves a very pleasant and sweet smell on the skin.

LOVE THIS, I got it cheap cause they were on sale but wow what an amazing smell. I put unisex even though it’s for women because while it is slightly more on the feminine side, it is a fragrance for any tropical or fruit smell lovers. Very tropical ish and fruity. But an amazing smell. I recommend it for anyone. Very exotic as well.

This is super fresh. Straight up watermelon citrus scent with florals coming through lightly. The watermelon note smells realistic and fresh and not candy like which is perfect. I dont smell the cupcake note which is fine as I prefer fresh scents but overall really good fragrance for summer or anytime to feel fresh.

At first I didn't care for it because is smelled like regular boring shampoo.now that it's settling I can smell the watermelon.it remind me of homemade watermelon water.this is what I wanted glam from kim k. To smell like.i can see this being my summer perfume. If anyone looking to buy I got mine at Amazon for $30

Beautifully fresh, clean, and watery with loads of watermelon and underlying hints of the Fantasy DNA we all know and love. I found it to be deliciously candy-like, and the least soapy of the Fantasy flankers I’ve tried so far. A great palate cleanser, and equally fab on hot summer days.

Another safe blind buy from the Fantasy range. If you’re into the Fantasy range, you’re getting a solid variant. I went shopping with my sister and sampled this and we both thought we smelt apple, but it’s not in the notes. Anyway - I loved it. I will be buying a bottle for summer.

Fresh, aquatic, shampoo-y citrusy watermelon scent. Great for hot summer days or after a shower. Not the most unique scent, but inoffensive and fun. Definitely for those who like youthful scents. It's not particularly mature, but I love girly things so it works for me.

i got this for summer as i wanted a fruity fragrance. jungle fantasy can smell a little like cleaning liquid. i struggle to smell the cupcake note but can smell the watermelon and yuzu. i dont think i’ll be buying this one again, definitely not my fave from britney

The waterlily and gardenia are the strongest notes on my skin. It’s a beautiful, intoxicating floral! Soft, girly, and beautiful. The bottle is very cute and it’s inexpensive too! I highly recommend!

I love this. I can't put my finger on what exactly I'm smelling, but it does have a fruity/soapy quality to it. It doesn't last long, but it's an inexpensive edt, so that's pretty much what you get.

Jungle Fantasy opens with watermelon and a drop of some kind of berry, which is reminiscent of the delicious watermelon ice tea a local cafe makes 😋 The yuzu adds a fresh citrussy blast to keep the fruits more energetic and disperse the sweetness. I'm not familiar with gustavia flower and have trouble separating anything other than the waterlily and gardenia, other than a faint breeze of violet. The overall feel of the floral blend is aquatic & soapy, so it is a very fresh and clean mix of fruits and florals that make up the bulk of Jungle Fantasy. You get the original [and very brief] Fantasy nod with cupcake, vanilla, tonka and sandalwood. The base notes are jumbled closely to the floral heart & are quiet, so on some wears I never even notice the base. The longevity and aura aren't anything impressive here; roughly between three to four hours on average, and it goes intimately close to the skin very quickly. Jungle Fantasy is of the nice-but-not-outstanding Fantasy flankers; nothing 'bad', but there are plenty of more appealing Fantasy editions. Give it a test by all means, but I'd recommend waiting for a price discount before picking it up. I think that Jungle Fantasy would have been more suitable as the spring/summer '24 release.

Sucking on a watermelon Jolly Rancher while floating on a vinyl raft in a municipal swimming pool on a sweltering summer day. Performance-wise, it's not optimal, even for a freshie of sorts, but it's inexpensive enough to spray profusely and often if you like it. I don't think this smells juvenile, necessarily, but it would be a great option for a young girl or boy who is just getting into fragrance and, in their youthful exuberance, oversprays. You could overspray Jungle Fantasy to your heart's content, and you wouldn't choke anyone out. (In fact, they might not even notice you were wearing a fragrance; they might think this is your shampoo, if they notice it at all.) The bottle, like all the bottles in the Fantasy line, is pretty, and it matches the smell of this perfume, even though the name does not. There is nothing particularly "jungle" about it, in my estimation. But the pink and green bottle does make me think of watermelon, the perfect fruit. I suppose Watermelon Fantasy or Calone Fantasy didn't work with the consumer focus groups.

I have many fragrances from Britney's 'Fantasy' range and most of them are very sweet and strong, this new Jungle Fantasy is significantly less sweet and more citrus fresh and more lighter compared to most of her other Fantasy perfumes. I really like the combination of citrus fruity notes in this, I love that it contains watermelon, I love watermelons but it's not a common ingredient used in perfumery which I think is a shame, the refreshing scent of watermelon can be very pleasant in perfumes, and this perfume is an example of that. On the first spray you can easily smell the fruity watermelon and yuzu citrus notes which are very refreshing, but once it settles the floral notes start to come through. I really like this perfume and I think it's 1 of my favourites from the Fantasy range. My only disappointment with this is the longevity, it's more milder and less intense compared to many of the other Fantasy perfumes, and it doesn't last very long on my skin, only a couple of hours tops. But overall I still love the smell of it.

Thought I'd give Jungle Fantasy a spritz on my tee shirt that I wore to bed last night, as I was staying in for the evening. Jungle Fantasy has been in my collection since around the time of its release, but I admit I haven't reached for it much. With that being said, i do really enjoy the scent (I just own entirely too much perfume - definitely a me problem lol). I can definitely detect the watermelon note the entire time I wear this. The water lily and Gardenia definitely add a fresh, almost soapy vibe to the fragrance. The scent is slightly sweet, which I think could be the tonka and cupcake base (although both aren't easily detectable). I can't speak for longevity on my skin, but I could still smell it on my tee shirt hours later! Overall, the perfect scent for the warm weather we've been experencing. The original Fantasy remains my most worn fragrance in my entire collection, so I always enjoy wearing the flankers.

An easy like - no more or less. It gives me a faint impression of that mythical cupcake DNA said to be lost in the Y2K era. In this case I assume the fantasy note is basically a compound of tonka beans and “cake” in the base. Airy, sweet in a blurred way. Not enough to make it a fruity gourmand. The white and aquatic florals keep it soapy and green - with palmy, leafy overtones. The watermelon and yuzu here come with rind and are pretty much unripe. Both are outdone by gardenia less than half an hour in. Doesn’t turn sharp or indolic nevertheless. Can catch a whiff of it even hours later. The sillage, on the other hand, is intimate - and even that would be an overstatement. Once sat between my friends on a tram and neither of them could smell anything. Regardless JF is the only aquatic/ozonic perfume I have in hand. For this reason - and that it reminds me of summer breaks - it will hold its place in my collection.

I've received this over the weekend and wore it already for a full day. I really like this type of smell. Clean, fresh, summery and lightly sweet. This sits perfectly next to Blissful Fantasy and reminded me of it if you would remove the sugar aspect of Blissful. I also got CK one summer vibes. I had one in 2009 I think and it was a melon cucumber scent and I loved it. It took me back to that one aswell. So, perfect for summer, gorgeous smell and a lovely bottle. I do have to say that the longevity and sillage is that of a body mist but only in a way better looking bottle. I hope it surprises me after a while and hangs on longer. I'm already planning to order a back up bottle since the fantasy's are hard to find after a while and I really love this despite its longevity. 🥰

A sharp, fresh, sweet-tart shampoo that smells of the watermelon, yuzu and water lily on my skin. It actually gave me a tiny bit of a headache until the scent began to dry down and fade. This stayed quite prominent on me for 3-4 hours, when it then quickly dropped down to a skin scent. I sprayed it on at 2pm and it's now 1am, and I can still smell it quite clearly when I sniff close to my wrist. I think this is a lovely scent for the gym or running out to do errands on hot summer days. If you're craving a simple shampoo scent that's not super sweet, then this might just be what you're wanting! That being said, I'm hesitant to even pay the £21 for it that Amazon's charging. I'll see if it gets any cheaper for Black Friday and that's when I'll buy a bottle.

I spotted this at my Local Walmart and decided that I wanted it. Blind Buy! 🤷🏾♀️ I have the OG Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy and wanted to expand my Britney Fantasy Collection. This is really; really; really nice and nostalgic as someone else mentioned. It reminds Me of my Childhood Summers. I smell the Watery-ness; Watermelon; and the Gourmand notes but slightly. It’s a really pretty scent. I think it’ll be great for Spring and Summer Days when it’s so hot You just want to shower and lay around. During outdoor activities. Even work depending on the environment; It’s very inoffensive and I’d buy it again if I ever used up the entire bottle...which isn’t likely I can barely get through a Travel Size!

Blind bought this today, as I have nowhere to try these britney fragrances out. Luckily they are quite cheap :) so.. i kinda promised myself to not buy more fantasy flankers, as I didnt like the 2 i previous bought. (Regular fantasy and festive) however I really do like this, it remind me a bit of l'imperatrice, but in stead of the sweetness, it is leaning more to aquatic and freshness. Will fit perfect for summer days, as it is very crisp and clean but fruity and pleasant! Very weak though, so you will have to reapply this regularly. I will also compliment the bottle, its actually really cute with the green and pink :)

I was looking for something that reassembles the 2008 CK Summer with fresh neon notes and watermelon. This definitely ain't. This one is some zero longevity cute oiental purple flowers with watermelon. Doesn't feel aquatic to me. It has no longevity at all. Once it dries down it's gone. Maybe I'll give it away. It's just for over spraying on yourself to feel nice and sweet after a shower. It will not perform as a fragrance at all. I'm kinda frustrated with the manufacturing of frags that has zero longevity. I struggle with the ethics of it. An intimate watermelon candy that will disappear in minutes.

I put this on and was immediately transported to high school. I do actually like this fragrance - it's very sweet and refreshing. The "high school" aspect is this sort of... artificial overly-sweet chapstick smell that just existed everywhere for me in the 2000s when I was a teen, haha. As an adult, I can't imagine myself wearing this now, but it is very pleasant, and it is certainly a great value. I'd sooner get Ralph Lauren Cool if you wanted something aquatic and sweet, and smells less artificial. Scent Description: Aquatic Cake Sillage: Within arms length Longevity: Medium - 4-5 hours

Was not sure about buying this but since I have so many other britney fragrances I thought why not. This will definitely be a fragrance I use for gym only, the longevity is very minimal. Cannot fault the scent tho as it is very pretty melon waterlilly. I think its about time they stop now with the eau de toilette and make concentrated perfumes because the fantasy perfumes longevity are very impressive as they outlast alot of designer house fragrances. With that being said will I buy the next britney perfume launched. I probably will

At first, I wasn't planning on buying this because watermelon can be hit-or-miss with me, but I saw it on sale at Ross and figured I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! It's very fresh and melony, like an elevated cucumber melon shampoo from my youth. I agree with others that this is VERY reminiscent of Ralph Cool. I had a childhood friend who had a collection of Ralph Lauren fragrances and because if the similarities, one whiff of Jungle Fantasy takes me right back to the early 00's.

This is my most recent addition to my Fantasy collection and WOW, she delivers. It’s so different than most of her flankers; I would say most closely identifies with Island Fantasy. The violet leaf and watermelon notes are divine. It’s such a unique scent overall and actually reminds me of the discontinued Refuge perfume from Charlotte Russe. That is the biggest plus as that perfume goes for $$$ online. Now I can have a close version for an affordable price and it’s super addicting.

This definitely is giving more green than aquatic. I do smell the watermelon but it's definitely closer to the rind of the watermelon than the fleshy part of the watermelon. It is more in the family of Escada 2005 mixed with Believe by Britney Spears. I'm also smelling a little cucumber as well. I feel like this scent would be perfect for a day at the pool or a Spring evening. I'm San Diego and could wear this all year around and I will!

Tested in Superdrug this weekend Smells very similar to the discontinued Island Fantasy which was a summer casual fave of mine. Longevity not that great on that cold wet Saturday, strange time of year to release it in the UK.... Spring/summer would of been better. I will be buying once it hits the discounters. I like it but it's not worth full RRP to me. .. I'll pick one up cheap come spring. I did buy the OG Fantasy instead though .

The bottle is an acid green and hot pink number, but the juice smells like the colors of the ocean. It's very blue aquatic and teal/green fresh, with a small amount of sweetness (but for me,this only came in after drydown). So far, I really like it. It is a refreshing, crisp fruity smell unlike all of all the jammy/sweet fruit scents on the market. It's cheap, and fun. 4/5, likely will rebuy if I run low by the end of summer.

One of my favorite scents!!! Smells so fresh, fruity and just an uplifting scent. I usually don’t love when perfumes smell soapy but it was executed very well in this perfume!! Only thing I dislike is the longevity! It doesn’t last very long and doesn’t have a large sillage but for the price it’s easy to over spray which helps! Bonus points because I got complimented the first day of wearing it!

~ Clean, Green, Light On first spray it's a splashy, inoffensive, green, fruity fragrance It kind of fades away to a soft, watermelony floral. Do not expect Island Fantasy, Ms Jungle is her sister, the DNA is similar but they are nothing alike. The watermelon in this more of a green, aquatic note. Jungle Fantasy is like a memory of summer. The watermelon, yuzu and violet leaf are very present. It's sweet without being cloying. It is reminiscent of Island Fantasy...but this is a bit sweeter. The watermelon note leans more toward a slightly candied watermelon rather than the aquatic watermelon note in Island Fantasy. It's a lovely fragrance...especially for Spring and Summer.

At first it’s very aquatic but dries down to more of the tonka bean and watermelon scent. I think this is a very easily likeable fragrance good for everyday use, maybe the beach or even the gym. I like the bottle design and colors but otherwise this is not a very unique scent. Longevity is quite bad honestly, lasts around 2 hours max on me.
