Prerogative Rave

So I’m trying to see if I like #BritneySpears “Prerogative - Rave” EDP. According to her advertisement, I believe this is unisex (The new uninhibited fragrance for all). It’s a pleasant scent. Reminds me of gummy bears with a woody background. I wonder how this fragrance would react during the hot summer weather. Getting it at the colder months; this EDP’s bubble projects quite strong. It’s a gourmand-candy and fruity-sweet scent. Like one of my favorite candies. As it dries down, the sweetness starts to dissipate. The base notes starts to shine; giving me a unisex vibe of a free spirit within. The woody accords blend so perfectly well with the cashmere. The pear and mandaran orange become aquatic with my skin chemistry. I get a “Dolce & Gabbana - Light Blue” flanker inspired perfume artistry. It’s very long lasting. Could be a year-around reach for your fragrance wardrobe. Very Impressed with the longevity and silage. I could picture both raver guys and girls wearing this at night while clubbing and during the day running errands. Yet, it’s not overly sweet so this could be pulled off by all. If you’re on a budget, you should try this. It’s worth it. It’s a love for me. P.S. #FreeBritney!

I didn't appreciate this one enough when I first got it in 2019. I ended up giving it to my little sister. Fast-forward to this week, where I added it back to my collection. I can definitely smell the DNA of the original Prerogative, but I definitely like this and Ego more. Rave is such a fun fragrance - Raspberry dominant, resting on a bed of Jasmine. The dry down is quite woody on my skin, and that's one of the reasons why I enjoy it so much. It's moderate in projection, and overall an extremely pleasant smell! I honestly can't stop smelling my wrist. This will be perfect to wear around the house or to work. I tend to reach for my Britney fragrances the most, and I'm very happy this one is in my collection again.

Opens with tart raspberry, fresh pear, and slight juicy mandarin orange. It's fabulous. The red lily, freesia and Jasmin support the fruits with a beautiful touch. Dries down fairly quickly into a leafy woodiness with fruity touches on my skin. Sillage isn't too loud with any of the Prerogatives, but Rave does sit on my skin for exactly 6 hours. After that, it pretty much fades into a clean skin smell. Its original Prerogative DNA is in the middle and base notes for sure but with a juicier fruit opening that mixes into the base. It's fruity, fresh, woody, and sweet. There's nothing like the current three Prerogatives, They are my favorite celebrity fragrance line ever.

It has a faint fruity and floral flavor. With undertones of lily, the raspberry and pear are unquestionably the stars of this dish. It has a sweetness to it that makes me think of a raspberry smoothie, and that sweetness lasts pretty much the entire run. Although it leans toward the more conventionally feminine side with the freshly sweet fruit notes, I believe it to be a pretty unisex scent. Sandalwood is so potent that it actually becomes one of the first perfume notes to linger on my skin. All of the flower notes seem undeveloped, watery, and clean. enduring power is fantastic. Silage and projection are quite good. Adorable!

i bought this perfume from a t.k.maxx so it was a blind buy, it did not disappoint it was such a summer night perfume, it was the perfect perfume to wear strolling on the beach on holiday, i was gutted when it ran out, it smelt very fresh and musky with hints of sweetness will absolutely re-purchase if i find another bottle edit: i forgot to mention when i first wore this out to eat tea and it was a warm summer evening, i entered the doors and immediately the worker said “someone smells incredible” so if you want compliments definitely get this! still on the hunt for a 100ml bottle tho -_-

Oh yum!!! Wow! Smells similar to original preogative but better! Mmm brighter, fresher, juicier! Nothing like i expected and so much better than expected💗 i hope this one lasts. Im so impressed with this its so delicious and mesmerizing. Oh so delightful... Mmm its staying the same scent but adding depth and a creamy base to stand upon. This is lovely. The best if the flankers although i just got ego too but its too light i cant smell ego. Ego may be a winter fragrance. But this one is warm spring heaven!

I bought this one by mistake, thinking that it was the original black bottle Prerogative. I love it! It is just my perfume profile, in the line of Mon Paris, Vince Camuto Amore, Dior Absolutely Blooming, and Armaf Italiano Vivo Donna. I bought the 100 ml for $19.99 so I was amazed. Definitely loved it. I will get also the original Prerogative as it is a totally different fragrance profile, like drinking an expresso while eating a delicious butter cake with praline pecans!

Finally got this from an online reseller, and it's so amazing! You can tell it has the same DNA as Prerogative due to the same sweetness, but this one is MUCH lighter and easier to wear than the original. It's more floral and a bit fruity, and it's VERY versatile imo, you can wear it pretty much in any season or hours (tho Spring and Summer are definitely more suitable). By far THE best Britney perfume I've had, gonna wear this often.

This is really beautiful, there is a leather or oud smokey note in it Wich I can see some saying it's masculine! and it totally is a dupe for Victoria's secret Very Sexy Orchid 100% , very beautiful but don't last the longest , may want to get a purse spray for it , needs to be re applied but definitely worth it for how cheap it is

It’s the most feminine, fresher perfume from the Prerogative collection. The fruitiness from the raspberry, pear and mandarine gives that summerish opening. As it dries it becomes more flowery, springish, delicate feminine scent. It settles onto a woody-musky base, with notes of cashmeran.

I purchased this one thinking I was getting the original Prerogative. This "mistake" is one that I'm happy about, lol. I'm almost done with my bottle, and I'll probably repurchase. Definitely one to have in your collection. Today, I layered it with Bath & Body Works Orange Vanilla Twist.

This is a yummy fruity floral that that dries down to a sweet woodiness & it is delicious. Blended beautifully I detect all the notes. I love to layer it with other Lily perfumes like Cartier Baiser Vole'. Another LOVE from Britney! Thank you!!! 🩷💋

Pleasant fruity floral. Flirty and sweet with a nice warm drydown. Not going to impress anyone but also not particularly offensive. Nice fragrance to wear around the house as a pick-me-up. Definitely a great value for the price. Will repurchase.

fruity sweet strong intense clean sexy britney spears fragrance. reminds me of a raspberry cocktail with pear. perfect if you don't like prerogative or want something lighter sweet feminine clean than prerogative. 100/10

Extremely unisex. I love it. This will get you compliments if it’s worn right. I had 3 compliments on a recent night out and were surprised it was a Britney fragrance.

Sweet but musky. I love it. I've had it a while and just had a spray. Mmm. It's made me go purchase Ego. You really can't go wrong with Britney fragrances.

I have all 3 of the prerogative perfumes and love them all. Only downside is, is that they don’t last long.

I got this today and have a lot to say. First I love this bottle. The bottle itself is shiny, and mirrored which I think its really cool they went with that theme, as well as the mirrored "RAVE" words in prerogative on the bottle...cool design. I think this is deff the "girl" version of it, where the first was the boy, aka unisex. This is still being labeled a fragrance for all but this is heavily fruity and girly in the packaging, but I'm a guy and bought it, but then again I buy them all, and see no "sex" in a fragrance, so whatever. Now the juice. If prerogative and radiance hooked up and had a baby, this is the love child. At first spray it reminded me right off of Prerogative, that same woody whipped candy smell, which I also think is heavy in Private Show, and I complained that Private Show and Prerogative smell way too similar. So I will say again Rave and Prerogative really smell too similar. The sharp fake cleaner scent of Radiance that "Raspberry" scent is what makes Rave different and reminds me of Radiance. But deep down it's still Private show, Radiance, and Prerogative in a shiny mirrored bottle. Nothing new. Nothing far fetched. It's actually prettier than Prerogative, so I think in time if my Prerogative scent goes away, I'll just keep Rave but it's nothing amazing. If you're not a collector this is not a "new" scent. It has about the same staying power on the skin and clothes as Prerogative and Private Show, and overall smells good but again nothing new and improved. A solid 7/10

Positives: Smooth, pleasant fragrance with an opening reminiscent of the original "Prerogative" - sweet, slightly spicy, androgynous. It is obvious this is a flanker of the aforementioned fragrance but it is different enough to warrant a purchase. The raspberry is very prominent which I really love. The drydown is the best aspect of the fragrance, being velvety, woody and musky. I consider this a "my-skin-but-better" type of scent. It is clean and sexy. The bottle design is very interesting and so is the title. Despite being mirrored, the sides of the bottle are slightly translucent. Drawbacks: Performance is similar to that of an eau de toilette. I certainly recommend reapplying this once or twice. It projects for about 3 hours. However, it does last longer on clothes and it is quite affordable which makes the unimpressive performance forgivable. Although I have not used it in a long time, the original "Prerogative" is more memorable and unique to me, especially in the winter. Now I have to find the "Ego" flanker which seems to be impossible! Aside from these two, I also have "Intimate Fantasy", " Circus Fantasy" and "Believe" by Britney. I find her fragrance line quite impressive so far. Not only do they smell awesome, but they also come in adorable packages and some of them last pretty long. They are generally inexpensive as well.

Just received this yesterday. The notes composition is...(I wanna say unique,) but the better fitting word in my opinion is “odd.” It’s a little fruity and a little floral. But it mainly smells...like skin. Like a mixture of a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer...and clean skin. It was quite odd and I didn’t think I liked it at first spray last night. I tried it again today and I find it more pleasant. I’ll consider it a like now but it’s definitely not a love. And most Britney scents...are a love for me. I own all of her scents with the exception of Rainbow Fantasy and that weird Fantasy flanker in the red bottle that no one can track down lol. Anyway...this one is a little outside the box. It’s a clean type of scent but not the best executed in my opinion. I’m gonna give it a few more wears. I have a feeling this will smell much better & work better with my skin when I can use it in cold weather. So I think I’ll save this one for this coming fall and winter when it cools down. My next venture is to buy Rainbow Fantasy. I’ll give this one a 6.5/10. Not terrible, not my favorite. A little weird. But again...hoping it’ll grow on me come winter. Overall...I’d like to say that Britney’s fragrance line as a whole...is just awesome. I love her products. Smart business woman she is for sure. I hope she keeps em coming!

I think that it's a fairly unisex fragrance, but does lean towards the more traditionally feminine side with the freshly sweet fruit notes. I can't separate the mandarin or pear notes, they're one long sweet-but-fresh note. I like that these top notes mingle together with the sharper raspberry note, into one long note that leans more towards fresh then sweet on me. All of the floral notes appear underdeveloped and watery/clean; so the only one I can place with any certainty is the lily - like the original Prerogative. Sometimes I can catch a hint of neroli, but it's very mild and comes and goes. The sandalwood is so strong that it is actually one of the first scent notes to develop on me. And as the watery floral mix fades, the cedar joins the sandalwood and overtakes everything else, except for a breeze of musk. Lasting power is a bit better than the past few Fantasy flankers and about equal to Prerogative - okay, but nothing great. After five hours or so, I struggle to get more then a brief whiff of raspberry and sandalwood. Prerogative Rave is nice enough for me to have picked up a small bottle for 'everyday' type wear - nice, but it's not as special & unique as I find Prerogative. I doubt that I'll bother rebuying this.

First initial spray, you get a tart sour candy smell. It reminds me of sour gummy worms. As it goes on your skin, the tartness lessens a bit. It's slightly spicy; from the description of the red lily and Freesia I'm guessing that gives it the spicy aroma. You smell the sweetness of the fruity notes. It's not overly sweet very light. As it dries down the base note of cedar starts to shine more. It becomes a slightly sweet cedar fruity smell throughout the day. The base notes definitely transform this fragrance and gives it more depth. The dry down is the best part. You still get all the elements of the perfume it just leans towards the masculine/unisex scale. I really like this. Though I was expecting something close to how fruity and sweet vip private show is. I love vip private show way more if anyone can recommend me a fragrance that smells similar or exactly like that one please let me know. For a blind buy I'm impressed that I like prerogative rave as much as I do.

This is a really nice soft fruity scent. The raspberry and pear are definitely the stars of the show here with hints of lily. Its got a sweetness that reminds me a raspberry smoothie and that lasts pretty much throughout the whole run. However i do find it lacks the oomph that all of Britney's other fragrances have. It doesn't smell like it belongs with the original Prerogative nor does it smell like a fantasy flanker. Makes me wonder with everything happening in the Free Britney movement that maybe Brit doesn't have much to do with her fragrances anymore and if she's just put to the face of a new release for a cash grab for her team. Hopefully Revlon can make Brits line what it once was and instead of cutting corners and making everything cheaper from the longevity to the boxes, gives us the old formulas back. Maybe the new release from the Prerogative line 'Prerogative Ego' will be a step in the right direction. 5/10

I really love the opening on this scent. I love the combination of Pear and Raspberry together. It’s very fruity and sweet and has an almost bubbly or sparkling quality to it. This dries down to become more floral and woody. I get a hint of spice in the dry down sometimes, which I believe comes from the red lily. It’s very true to Britney’s formula of sweet but musky or woody scents, but still manages to be different from her other fragrances. Compared to the original Prerogative, Rave is much sweeter. It’s listed as unisex but it personally comes off as feminine scent to me up until the florals disappear. The original Prerogative feels more unisex to me compared to this one in it’s entirety. I wish this one lasted longer because I have to overspray to get a few hours of use out of it but i also don’t want to run out as quick.

this one is my favorite flanker! This one is bright and fresh. It's fruity but could be unisex, although I understand why this one is marketed for women because of the sweetness. To me, the citrus note helps it to be more unisex. it's a little sporty smelling similar to Harajuku or Adidas perfumes. Nicely blended so it's not too sweet. I don't love it enough to buy it unless it was like $15-30 but I would keep if gifted. Very nice daytime scent for spring or summer, or for spraying after the gym. The raspberry, pear, and orange notes are really my thing. I wonder what it would smell like with a rose note...The sillage is arm's length

Probably the most female leaning of the Prerogative line, but you can still pull it off if you're a guy. Starts fruity, pear and raspberry forward, but blossom into a floral musk that's quite pleasant. Wore it on a warm spring day (around 18 degrees) and could get whiffs of it throughout the day. Never too overpowering. A great bargain too

I really enjoy the citrusy, zesty opening and the fragrance changes surprisingly much as it goes on. After about two or more hours it smells very powdery and woody with the slight fruity sweetness of the beginning in the background. It does become a skin scent after an hour or so already. I'd say its unisex, but leaning towards feminine

Very similar to the original prerogative, slightly more fruity and and amazing cashmere dry down.

In my opinion, it smells similar to Katy Perry’s Meow but less more sweet than Meow.

i wanted this to be my signature fragrance over the regular prerogative, but as a lifelong britney idolizer and avid raver who uses lots of fragrance - i love all of britneys perfumes... except this one. this fragrance is 100 percent unisex leaning toward male and clearly making up for everything prerogative claimed to be but wasnt. what i wanted - long lasting, fruity, electric, green apple fizzy, gojiberry cupcake with a coffee vanilla base. to me - on first spray - this smells exactly like prerogative. im surprised theres no goji berry listed here. but i guess it explains why the top notes dont linger as raspberry to me comes and goes quickly. there is no middle notes to me at all - after the top notes are gone, all i smell is heavy manly musk with a slight - "oh - why is this super comforting?" - with the coffee and original prerogative notes buried under it but only upon closer inspection and sniffing... I dont see myself reapplying this at a "club" let alone an actual "rave" environment. the manlyl musk is headache inducing and what you dont want to smell at a rave - at all... i dont understand how people think this is simply sweet and fruity or get any coffee out of it - its sharp, musky and two dimensional - masculine and feminine with the latter feminine top notes disappearing quickly - completely ignoring the middle note fusions which would have just radiated unity, passion, and love between the two sexes. i consider this a good night time winter fragrance for feminine presenting people or year round for masculine presenting people.

I don’t feel like this was the flanker we needed from Prerogative, I personally don’t care for this version as there is something in it that doesn’t sit well on me but I can’t explain what it is. The lasting power is about 2/3 hours so it’s decent for a Britney scent but I don’t really like it tbh. I prefer the original prerogative & I can say that I’m no huge fan of that but it’s miles better than this version.

This one is really bad on me. It has three distinct smells. It opens as L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, then it turned into a knockoff Cacharel amor amor, and then it really took a turn for the bad and ended up being a weak hypnotic poison. Going to the second hand shop tomorrow. Hopefully it will make someone else happy.

The fragrance doesn't work for me. I can barely smell anything but pepper, with a faint aftertaste of raspberry (the combination is nauseating). I thought I'd have to train my nose to tolerate it, but no luck; it just makes me gag. The whole thing smells rather cheap. Maybe it's just my bottle, but I doubt it.

I blind bought this because of the notes, and it's not for me. I find Prerogative Rave too masculine for my taste. I absolutely love the first one (in the black bottle), but this one smells way more unisex than that one. If you think the first one's too girly for you, go for this one.

Nice one for a teen. The bottle is awesome, cold and metallic. I dont know whos making these now but they dont smell like "Britney", you know? Something's off with this line. Woods where? Cashmeran?? White florals yes and intense raspberry-mandarin-pear. Totally reminded me of these scented pens I had as a kid back in the 90s. Also the Prerogative line have a slight stale smell to them, as if theyre about to go bad or they have already (like Prerogative). I thought it was the coffee note in the OG giving this stale smell, but no coffee here so Im guessing is the sandalwood being a bad quality or something. Its cheerful tho, the opening is better than the drydown then it smells almost like a Pink Friday clone (pear, jasmine, mandarin). I have both Scandalous and Scandalous Dare and I tested both on one side, then Rave on the other arm. Scandalous may have raspberry and I detect some similarity in the drydown, but the praline makes it deeper. Scandalous Dare, no, no similarity. (I prefer Rave than Scandalous Dare which is too crisp,sweet-sour for me). Update: Mandarin/raspberry must be my fav fruity combo, Britney's Sunset Fantasy also has it and no wonder its a fav of mine. Ok so I was comparing this to Ralph Lauren's Beyond Romance (similar league, but theyre not alike) due to the mandarin, raspberry, cashmeran common notes even tho I still do not detect any cashmeran here. Its alot less sweet than Beyond Romance, more neutral if it makes sense, its softer, refreshing like a soda, not as romantic and girly - the sandalwood as much as its abit stale on me keeps it very refreshing, might be the cedar too even tho its not intense. Bieber's Someday also has the jasmine, pear, mandarin notes. Prerogative Rave is lighter more bubbly, not deep like Bieber's Someday (Someday comes off slightly masculine on me, its the jasmine and red berries and makes me dizzy). They list Pink Friday as Someday's dupe, I prefer Prerogative Rave over both!

I'm a self-confessed Britney Spears fan and have been for over two decades. Back when I was a teen I started building my fragrance collection with several Britney Spears fragrances including Curious, Fantasy, Believe and Midnight Fantasy. As I've gotten older, I have grown out of wearing sweet, sugary gourmands, so admittedly her fragrance line doesn't appeal to me as it once did. I do, however, still sample every new release from her range just in case there's a hidden gem that I might enjoy at this later stage of my life. I quite enjoyed Prerogative, her first foray into creating a unisex fragrance. Despite its sweetness, the coffee note was fun and different, so I hoped that Prerogative Rave would continue the momentum. Prerogative Rave is not a unisex fragrance like its predecessor. In some ways, this flanker has returned to the typical sweet fruity-floral nuances found in many of her Fantasy flankers. The opening is quite candied with sugary raspberry, icy pear and saccharine-sweet white florals. The drydown continues with the sweet aspect, however, smooth sandalwood and creamy cashmeran in the base makes for a more subdued fragrance. For an inexpensive celebrity fragrance, Prerogative Rave isn't half-bad. It's more than likely going to appeal to younger consumers, or to those that adore Fantasy and her subsequent flankers. I gravitate more towards the patchouli-rich Believe and somewhat bitter-orange Hidden Fantasy these days, however, in so saying I would happily wear Prerogative Rave from time to time to fulfil a craving for a sweet, candied scent. The longevity and scent projection of Prerogative Rave is average at best. It could easily be worn all year round and would make a great choice for an evening out on the town.

Okay, this is the second review from me for this scent. I deleted the first. I own it now and I've given it a full run. Verdict? I really love it. The raspberry and pear are the most dominant notes for me, which is good considering I love the raspberry note in perfumes like 'Because it's you'. The initial sweet fruit top-notes actually remind me of that scent, with the waxiness of the red lily lending an almost jam-like vibe. The pear can also be quite apple-like, especially mixed with the raspberry, so the whole thing is very 'summer fruits'. It's like the summertime cousin of the original Prerogative, or even the outdoors version. Whereas the original is more about the coffee and berries, this is more about summer fruits and woodiness. In saying that though, I do think this scent can be worn at any time of year. About half an hour, to an hour in, that's when the cashmeran, sandalwood, cedar and musk come through, which is when it becomes its most masculine. I love this stage as much as the initial, and I think this scent could easily be worn by any gender and a person of any age. All of the notes blend beautifully with one another. A very pleasing, happy, scent.

GUY & GALS, THIS IS FOR BOTH OF YOU! I have been trying to branch out from basic sweets and florals and try more woody and spicy scents because they project more and I can wear them out at night and get the edgy darker feeling. I love Britney scents and wanted to try more of hers and I saw this was a sweet woody scent. Got it today and WOW, nothing to hate about this. Sweet with some woody musky vibes. Perfect for work, play or nighttime. These are different than her other scents, THEY ARE UNI-SEX! I can agree that Prerogative Rave is unisex but I think this one leans more female. I have not tried the others but based on the notes, I think the other 2 lean more male. TRY THIS ONE!! You will adore this scent and price is always right for celeb scents. Not much projection but those little whiffs I do get are Divine. I will just overspray and enjoy!

I purchased this last night. As I am wearing it I thought it reminds me of something I already have. On me personally it smells similar to Christina Aguilera Glam X and a sweeter version of fearless by Gina Liano or Christinas Secret Potion. I don't say that is what it smells like but my skin chemistry does that. It does not last on me but very few perfumes do so that is something I have to accept. The bottle is nice but would have preferred a lid that isn't pink but that is a small issue. I couldn't get interested in this but something made me test it last night I ended up getting it in glad I did its definitely my style of perfume rather than the first Perogative which was a little too desert like for me. It is similar to that 1 but different enough side by side to bother having both. Reminds me of max Mara a little bit

0I agree with AuraPheonix it's *supposed* to be unisex BUT...I'm not really sure why. The bottle and notes are seriously about as feminine as it gets. I get that unisex is trendy right now but following trends is stupid. Either make it actually unisex or call it what it is...feminine. Don't get me wrong, if a guy wants to wear a feminine frag or a girl a masculine one, cool! I'm all for that! But can we call a spade a spade? How many guys who wouldn't buy a fragrance marketed to women do you honestly see buying THIS just because it says for all? Sorry, silly marketing tends to annoy me lol it's such an obvious cash grab but does anyone actually think that the demographic interested in buying this and therefore sales are actually going to double? I don't like when companies insult our intelligence I mean come on.

Ok soo, I dont know what these other people are talking about because iv been waiting forever to buy this, I love the original so very much, mostly because of the espresso and latex leaves. However with this new prerogative rave, I dont smell ANYTHING except for a faint smell of raspberries. The packaging is amazing, cute, shiny, rich. I bought 2 bottles and now regretting it. Now, I love my perfumes , esp britneys and nicki Minaj, not really a Minaj fan persay but her fragrances are killer.... esp the original OG pink Friday. So anyways, prerogative rave is on Ebay (brand new) for 23$ and up for the 3.3oz. Now I dont know why some bottles are 3.3 or 3.4, it's the same thing. Just talking rn lol. But anyways, this is my review.

Prerogative Rave, to me, smells like a lighter, fizzier, fruitier version of BLACK OPIUM or BLACK OPIUM NEON. It's got that milky coffee / cafe latte base with fruity top notes of a hint of raspberry or apricot. There is something a bit masculine about the basenotes of the perfume - perhaps it's the coffee note or cedar note? If you enjoy perfumes with a coffee / cafe latte / cappuccino note, but want something mixed in to make it lighter, fizzier, sparkling, and fruity, you might enjoy this!

I really like Prerogative Rave it's different than the original, and I think it's more unisex than the first one. To me this is more spicy, I can smell the Cashmere, Musk, and Ceder mixing together the most, I also smell the jasmine, I get a slight of the fruity notes, they aren't as strong to me. This is finally available in the USA, 100ml on Fragrancenet, and Fragrancex, So maybe there is hope we will see Glitter Fantasy at some point.

Finally got this in the US from FragranceNet in the 3.3oz bottle. Really fun and gorgeous packaging/ bottle. More sweet than the original Prerogative (which I really love). I think it's a good sweet tart fragrance but nothing innovative. I would only go for it if you are a collector of Britney perfumes.
