Radiance

I have a miniature of this tucked away and now travelling with me a 50 mill EDP flacon which I purchased for $10,00 Aus dollars, rounding up $9.99. Anyway. I can actually smell the distinctive Elizabeth Arden signature notes that remind my vaguely of a blend between '5th Avenue Style' and 'Provocative Woman' there is no doubt. I collect EA fragrances and 'Radiance' although a Britney product is manufactured by EA partners. This is a rather pleasant Albeit nothing unique, yet affordable fragrance. Radiance and I get along nicely though. I don't like every Britney Spears fragrances that comes out, however this along with 'Midnight Fantasy' sorry no note comparison or similarity the rest I can take or leave. But that's just me. Ms Britney has been fortunate to pair up with EA partner, this does reflect in the longevity and stability of her fragrances, 'Radiance' is fairly long lived 12 hour plus on my skin and is also quite linear, again reinforcing my opinion of being somewhat reminiscent of some EA's fragrances mentioned above, My idiotic first husband the fart bomb, the walking fart bomb machine used to say the EPA should hire me and place me in Bourke street to report back how many people farted that day in Melbourne. meaning I do have a sensitive nose.. I seriously do. Yet like most fragrance lovers it does not always dawn on me what smells like what until a memory is evoked. I can't wait to one day be reunited with my fragrance collection and have a purpose built display storage cabinet made to house them ibn my very own abode. This bottle is less crudely coloured than the flanker 'Cosmic Radiance' of which I own a 30 mill EDP, this version is my preference though. Another value for money purchase, with the sillage being admirable with 12 hour plus staying power on my skin. I'm in the tropics too, so that's saying something. Again with the celebrity promotion and myself not really being into Britney's public persona, I have to admit that her fragrance line are fine products and I have a respect for them, not liking all of them, However I do respect them. Her fragrances are not expensive and seem accessible and there appears to be something in her varied fragrances that appeals to everyone or someone. Radiance has a berry undertone through the top and middle notes and settles into a skin scent, so a safe purchase, non offensive and clean.

I never bought or tried this fragrance when it was first released but found a sealed 50 ml bottle at a very reasonable price online and I decided to buy it a few weeks ago. I think this fragrance "radiates" elegance. It's a very grown up and mature fragrance - a departure from Britney's "Curious" and "Fantasy" lines. It's definitely a floral fragrance, not gourmand at all, and it smells like old-school elegance to me. Maybe 90s elegance. I may be overreaching but I could see this fragrance as a sister to classics like "Amarige", "Paris", etc. In fact, upon first spray it brought back memories from "Amarige" which my aunt used to wear in the 90s. Red berries is what I smell immediately upon spray but the dry down after an hour or so is a combination of musk and white flowers, which makes it even more exciting because it dries down to an almost completely difference scent. On me it lasts and projects for at least 5-6 hours with one or two sprays. The bottle itself is cute, though it would definitely look more expensive (and justify the scent inside) if the "gemstones" where not frosted/opaque but shiny glass. The 30 ml bottle is definitely the most elegant of all, but sadly the smallest size I could find was the 50 ml one. The box is made of iridescent/holographic carton on the outside and beautiful, thick fuchsia carbon on the inside. Since this was released in 2010, it's probably the last fragrance in Britney's line that looks and feels expensive. The recent fragrances all feature amazingly tacky, cheap-looking boxes and bottles, which are a far departure from the original releases of Britney's classics (Curious, Fantasy, Believe) with origami-style double boxes and beautiful bottles with bulb atomizers or Swarovski crystals. If you manage to find a decently priced, sealed bottle of "Radiance", I'd say it's a safe blind-buy; I really don't see anyone disliking it. I haven't tried "Cosmic Radiance" yet, and don't know if I will, as I recently went on a splurge to buy several different "Fantasy" releases and I deeply regretted it, as the newest releases aren't up to Britney Spears fragrances' old standards. Now, the goal is to find a vintage version of "Fantasy" before the reformulations, with the original double box and green ribbon and my collection will be complete :)

The bottle feels a lot more expensive than it looks in pictures. I thought it looked so cheap and plastic in pictures, but in reality it is heavy and glass. I like this. Anyway, smellwise...hmmm. It smells almost identicle to a bath and body work fragrance called "Carried away."maybe with a tad bit more fruit, cream or musk in it, which makes it a lil better. It is not a terribly unique smell. I'm sure most people have smelled something like it. It is fairly strong, I'll give it that. It also has a fresh "just took a shower" type of smell to it. I sprayed some on while sitting in a closed car waiting for a friend to arrive. When he got into the car he said "It smells like a bath" So I guess there is some sort of fresh soapy smell to it along with the florals and subtle fruit. This perfume makes me think of a girl who just took shower and is going out to do some kind of errand. Or possibIy a girl who is all dressed up and driving her car on the way to some club at nighttime. I do like it better than Midnight Fantasy which I just got a sample of. Now THAT perfume midnight fantasy smelled disgusting..like perfume and fruity pebbles mixed together. But RADIANCE is actually nice. It is very feminine and romantic and from other reviews I can see that the guys tend to love it. At the worst, you can spray it on if you want people to think you took a shower when you didn't lol UPDATE: I sprayed on a few spritzes this evening, and I have to say, the drydown is BEAUTIFUL It smells way better than Carried Away now. I kept catching whiffs of it and was surprised at how gorgeous it became. It got prettier and prettier the more time passed by - a creamier and warmer scent. Very comforting and somewhat sensual. It is defintely the best Britney Spears perfume I've ever owned. I have Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy as well. I'll have to try cosmic radiance sometime. My guy friend said it was the best smelling britney spears perfume he'd ever smelled on me also. So its a winner!

I used to be so disappointed because I didn't think Radiance lasted on me because I couldn't smell it after a couple hours, but I know that I just wasn't wearing enough of it. I usually buy 1 ML samples online so that I can try more perfumes for a cheaper price, and at first I would do a couple dabs with my finger onto my neck. I feel like this method hindered the sillage and longevity, so after some practice I finally figured out how to apply a couple drops from the vial directly to my neck, which I feel makes a world of difference. Anyways, this time Radiance lasted a good 4-5 hours on me. Yay!! Anyways, there's just something about the combo of the tuberose, berries and musk that I find extremely addicting. In fact, all of Britney's perfumes are addicting and I can say that they are one of my guilty pleasures. I find this one similar to Gucci Flora Gracious Tuberose. One thing I should note about Radiance is that light seems to affect the smell of the perfume. I first sprayed this from a tester at Ulta and I thought it smelled terrible, like rancid berries. The sample that I got online is soooo much nicer, so be careful about where you store this. I'm not sure how old that tester bottle was but it was kept under bright lights, which definitely played a part in altering the fragrance.

I think that I have had a change in heart with this perfume. In my last review for Radiance I said that it was overpowering, strong and sickly sweet. I bought this perfume over the weekend since it was on Christmas sale for $9 for 30ml, which I always seem to be persuaded easily to buy cheap perfumes. Anyway, After smelling this a second time, I found the scent to be quite a breeze. It is a soft fruity/floral that smells like an air freshener. The scent is very soft however lasts all day. If you would like a tip, mix this scent with Katy Perry's Meow perfume...it's amazing! Even when I layered another scent with radiance, radiance seemed to last much longer than Meow, in fact it was still there long after meow had disappeared. This is also a berry kind of smell, which makes sense because the main note of this fragrance is red berries. I can smell a small amout of floral notes which I would say makes the scent more softer. The bottle is gorgeous! It's strange because it reminds me of a remixed chanel bottle. The jewels are patterned amazingly well on the bottle too. This scent has inspired me to try Britney's "Cosmic Radiance". I rate this 7/10, amazing bottle...not as generic and tacky as Fantasy and Curious. The scent is probably her most softest scent she has ever made.

''Radiance'' by Britney Spears is PERFECTION. It's the perfect perfume for me. I can smell a lot of red berries with some sweetness, a very light combination of beautiful and soft florals with a dreamy musky and powdery base. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, florals and powderiness. Longevity is good and sillage is good as well. I can't describe how much I love this perfume, [altough it is a floral perfume and I usually HATE FLORALS as I find them too heavy with very intense flowers], but this one is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLORAL that I have ever smelled!!!! It has almost a soft bubblegummy /shampooish scent that is so elegant and I think that it can be worn from a lot of age ranges as well. [ ANYONE CAN WEAR EVERYTHING THEY WANT!! I'm just saying that it is one of the more mature and classy scents [in a good way] that Britney Spears has, [ I LOVE ALMOST EVERY SINGLE PERFUME OF HERS AND I LOVE HER SWEET SCENTS TOO], so if anyone is interested in that, should definitely smell it, BUT I READ ONLINE that this beauty is DISCONTINUED.... WHY???? I love this perfume so much and unfortunately I don't have a lot left in my bottle..... If anyone knows something that smells EXACTLY like this or extremely similar please let me know. Thank you.

I cannot believe that I just willfully clicked the "love" option on this one. I've never given it a second look until the other day, when my husband gave me a 1oz bottle he'd scored at TJ Maxx for $3. Immediately upon spritzing, I pooh-poohed this as being "too generically celeb" smelling, and then went about my business, feeling at ease with the thought of scrubbing it off in my imminent shower. But thennn... During the aforementioned "business", I kept catching whiffs of a light, fruity but grown-up and somewhat serious tuberose. This was a delightful surprise! As it wore on, for the next couple of hours, I smelled its approachable fruity-floral spirit, but also facets of (of all things) Poison and Ciara...? That's right... something about the blend of all those white flowers with amber and red berries reminds me, just a bit, of two of my all-time favorites... one an 80's powerhouse masterpiece, and the other a beloved drugstore gem. Huh? I couldn't wait to wear it to work today. I applied it at 6:30 this morning, was downright harassed with compliments all day long, and can still smell its loveliness now, at 7:29pm. Sillage, composition, development, longevity are all wonderful. I'm gonna buy all of it.

I feel that this fragrance is COMPLETELY underrated. I picked up a half ounce of this perfume for only 5$ and I'm sure if it were packaged into some niche or high end designer, people would clamor for it and pay at least a 100$ more. I don't know of too many celebrity fragrances that really highlight and showcase tuberose in such a manner, this fragrance really is just a shimmering beauty. Right off the bat, the tuberose says hello with no screechiness or cloying sweetness. In a few moments the berry aspects of this fragrance really come into play and make it so refreshing and vibrant. When you get to the drydown (trust me, it's the best) you will find it to be a completely different scent. The amber and iris mingle together to make a creamy and powdery finish. I would highly recommend this scent as it's one of Britney's finest and very affordable. I would say that this perfume is suitable for any person of any age. It's just wonderful.

I bought my 30ml bottle of Radiance for a bargain price of £6, and on first spraying I thought.....Hmmmmm not bad. After owing it for 3 years now I can say I was drawn to it pretty regularly, and wore it a lot. It is a beautiful floral summer fragrance which lasts me all day at work, 8-10 hours is amazing from such an inexpensive perfume. The bottle is very pretty, and when I finish the perfume (which will probably be next summer) then I will keep the bottle as decoration. The perfume itself smells very sophisticated, my nose first picks up the Tuberose & Jasmin, and the amber comes along later which is beautiful. The berries make this perfume fruity, fresh and beautiful. I WILL re-buy this when it is gone, it's too pretty not to. I do believe that Radiance and Viva La Juicy are almost identicle, if you're a lover of VLJ, Radiance is a cheaper alternative and lasts pretty long too.

Although this fragrance is classified as a white floral, I have to say it is quite misleading. This scent is only slightly floral. As soon as it squirts out, you get a burst of juicy, sour red berries. And what I love about these red berries is that they do not smell synthetic whatsoever. Many lollies, flavours & scents have a very fake representation of a certain fruit. For example, grape chewing gum does not taste like authentic, fresh grapes. But I am glad to say the berries in this fragrance smell vibrant & fresh. I love the sourness to them. Once the top settles down, it calms into a warm floral but stays glamorous and fruity. Into the base note, it turns a little bit creamy and woodsy, but there are still remains of the sour berries. Overall this scent is probably one of Britney's best fragrances. If you haven't experienced this scent yet, go and sample it right away!

I went into Walgreens this morning, hoping they would have fragrance gift sets with slashed prices. I had in mind that if they had Britney`s Midnight Fantasy, I would surely pick it up - blind buy based on reviews. Radiance was the only set they had left, 1 ounce bottle edp and 3.3 ounce body souflee. So I picked it up, blindly, for $9.99. I have had it on one wrist now for appox. 1 hour. It is fresh berries, a white fresh floral. Just a touch of musk. I do not get a powdery note. It is not at all candy-like. It is very clean, has a sparkle, dare I say 'radiant'. I do not care what season it is, I would wear at anytime. A very nice edp that I especially like knowing that I aquired it at a bargain. The bottle is pretty cool actually in person. I kept reading the Britney`s scents were well made, and much better then celeb scents and I agree. Radiance is a keeper.

This is so radiant (pun intended) its so fresh and clean smelling, a burst of strawberries and then a really fresh tuberose without it being buttery and cloying like it can be in other perfumes, it really smells opulent. Doesn't last as long as some of the fantasies so you'll probably only get about 5-6 hours with this so it does need reapplying throughout its wear, which seeing as its been discontinued now makes me wary to wear it often, when ever i see a 30ml or 50ml bottle going for around £20 I snap it up. So a very underrated fragrance from Britney, i know there was some controversy a few years ago with Elizabeth Arden and Britney's 'team' not paying some licensing fees or something so maybe that's why it wasn't on the market very long :( Grab it if you see if before it's gone forever. A fruity white floral done right and always gets compliments!

The Bottle: It's a simple bottle what makes it stand out is the carved rhinestones in it. Love the colors on the bottle. Inside the bottle: Strong, floral,pretty & sensual are the words to describe this perfume. When you first spray it you get red berries,tuberose & hint of jasmine and when it dries iris & musk come out.Longevity pretty much the whole day if not more.Sillage is very strong too you don't have to wear much for someone to smell it across the room. Overall: This perfume is great for someone who enjoy's floral/sweet & strong scent. If your only into sweet scent give this one a try it's sweet but gives you something different. I wasn't into florals before I tried this one and because of this one I wanted to check out more floral perfume.Great for someone starting out wear perfume. I wouldn't recommend for someone who is sensitive.

I got a sealed bottle of radiance on eBay for a decent price 💞 It hasn’t turned imo, the liquid is a bit yellow. The perfume itself is a very well balanced white floral. I get the tart berries peeking through and playing around with tuberose. All of Britney’s perfumes are so soft and pleasant, like whispers. I’m really sad this ones discontinued. It can pull a little bit strong once first sprayed, but it softens and lingers. It has a clean floral edge to it. It reminds me of Dior pure poison if it had a younger sister. It’s a bit astonishing that this is gone but believe is still in production. As a stand alone away from the fantasy and curious collections, this one was really beautiful :( I wish EA/Revlon would bring it back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance! I am not one to go for florals but Radiance is absolutely gorgeous. I think what makes this fragrance so delicious is that the floral notes aren't overwhelming. It's a subtle floral with hints of sweet and fruity notes. This fragrance is perfect for daytime, and may even become my new signature scent. The only downside, like with many Britney perfumes, is that it's lasting power isn't strong. Fortunately I have a spray tube on me in my purse so I'll always have it with me! I would highly recommend Radiance if you're looking for a new daytime fragrance. Yet another hit from Miss Britney Spears! Looking forward to getting a 100ml bottle of this.

Radiance is totally my signature fragrance~ floral, feminine, fruity and classy. I advise however to not by it from online/discount stores as it seems to have a different smell that is "off" compared to department and retail stores. Perhaps it is because they are old testers and/or discounted and have been stored improperly for long periods of time. It is still my favourite, my go-to perfume and my boyfriend loves it. He carries the mini with him when he travels and smells it when we are away from each other, he can't get enough of it. Highly recommend it, but like i said, get it from a department/retail store to ensure the freshest and sweetest smelling potency.

Boy is this good!! I really didn't expect anything much, but WOW!! It is lovely! Another beautiful Britney perfume for me!! Another blind-buy success!!! Yay!! It's such a beautiful smell - all day long, whilst it goes through various changes: from berries, to flowers to wood and musk and amber, and back again.. Wonderful. It does have a very lovely soap-smell at various times, but no smell stays static for more than 10 minutes. Oh it's really such a gorgeous perfume. Plus the sillage and longevity are really good - a few feet, and all day respectively. Thank you Britney and Elizabeth Arden, for yet another fabulous experience! EXCELLENT!!!!

This perfume captures my soft&romantic side very well. First of all, I'm totally in love with the bottle. It's very unique and beautiful. Light blue&pink is my most favourite color combination. The scent is really pleasant. It's like sweet red berries water splashing all over white flower petals. Even though I'm a sweet gourmand lover but this perfume is sweet enough for my taste. I feel so girly and young when I'm wearing it. The sillage and longevity are moderate. It lasts about 6 hours on me. Very strong at first couple hours then getting lighter and sits really close on skin. One of the most girly fragrance from Brit.

This perfume is amazing. It smells so light and floral, but can be worn in the winter. The scent is just so cool and fresh. I wear it constantly in the winter months. It's one of my favorites by Britney Spears, and overall. I really don't consider myself a huge fan of Britney Spears, but her fragrances, especially Radiance, are incredible. It lasts really well and I get compliments all the time when I wear it. I wore Fantasy a lot when I was in high school, and now in my twenties I wear Radiance (and I still have a bottle of Fantasy for when I'm feeling nostalgic).

Okay it finally came in today & you know what?...I LOVE it! I like it better than Fantasy that's for sure. I loved the box but when I opened it I loved the bottle even more. It was bigger than I thought it would be. When you first spray it it smells like sweet & fresh grapes & then it starts to become a lightly floral raspberry smell. The dry down is a musky floral. I do wish it lasted alittle bit longer though. This is now my favorite Britney perfume & it's the only celebrity fragrance I'm probably gonna keep buying! Britney really knows how to please her fans:)

This will always be in my hall of fame! This is just so feminine, not offensive in the least, beautiful as a diamond. Of all the perfumes I own and I have many, this one is my partner's favourite of mine for many years! I always have a bottle of this, I have owned at least 6 over many years! This is safe but alluring, you truly cannot go wrong with this beautiful scent! God bless my fellow perfume scientists!!!!! And God bless Britney for designing perfumes that are truly time capsules for any age! Any age could wear this. A true Gem!

LOVE IT!!!! And the bottle is stunning, and so is the box! It's a very very wonderful perfume! Gorgeous in every way. I love Britney's perfumes! Every one I've got so far - nearly half I think - and can't wait to have them all. This is a gorgeous floral, not sharp at all though! There's a perfect blend of flowers, berries, soft wood, amber and musk. Very nice. Soapy and soft. Lovely. It's one of my favourites. Beautiful longevity and sillage; really stays on skin and clothes for days! It's dreamy!

This is my favourite perfume. I absolutely adore it. God; I can't believe what a gorgeous treat it is! The florals are so creamy; the berries so fresh; the delicacy and charm of the soapiness is wonderful. It lasts and lasts!!! I love it first thing in the morning, all the day, all the night, and even in bed at night. So soothing and uplifting at the same time. A pure delight. And the bottle and box are brilliant too!

SO sad this has been discontinued. This was my signature scent for years and years, definitely the most underrated perfume from Britney. Such a classy scent, anyone of any age can wear this and any time during the year. Doesn't last a very long time but that's across the board for all of Britney's perfumes. I don't mind though - hoping she brings this back, I'm on my last bottle!

I've only smelled this perfume from an empty bottle of my moms. The scent was still on the sprayer from like 2 years ago lol. I ordered this perfume off the internet 5 days ago & it's supposed to come tomorrow! I hope I really like it because I ordered the 3.4 oz but we will just have to wait & see how I Iike it when I really try it! I'm not worried though, I trust Britney:)

I can't understand how Britney could discontinue this and cosmic radiance! It is impossible to find this anywhere in Sweden right now. I were lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of Cosmic bottles at least. This is the only White floral I LOVE and can't be without 😭 It lasts forever and ever on clothes. I guess I have to switch to La Fleur instead

Very light, very white-floral. In a nutshell, Radiance is in fact, radiant. I'm a fruity-floral lover, and though this is much more floral than fruity, I've just fallen madly in love with it. I'm definitely buying a full sized bottle sometime in the near future. My real challenge with this is going to be to stop sniffing my wrists every 10 seconds.

The best sweet, white floral ever made, I'm so sad it's discontinued. It lasts a good 5 hours on me and my clothing. It projects just enough that people walking past do get a waft of it and do compliment it. Also all the bottles I've had, did have tinted yellow liquid but were all newly opened bottles. I've had no issues with it going off♥️

This is SUCH a gorgeous fragrance! It starts out with juicy red berries, jasmine, tuberose and orange flower. Dries down to a delicate sensual skin musk. Smells amazing in the cold January weather but I could imagine how beautiful it’d be on a warm spring day. Lasts about 6-8 hours on me. Worth every penny and getting harder to find!

One of my favourite perfumes of all times! I love Britney’s fragrances. I love wearing Radiance usually at bedtime, I find the smell very cosy, comforting, a bit fruity and floral and I can also detect that « bubble gum smell » that I love too. To me it reminds me of the smell at the Disneyland Hotel. Very nostalgic and I love it.

I loved this perfume so much and have been trying to find something like it for years. Was very sad when I found out it was discontiunued after i finished my bottle. Would definentely buy again. Smelt sweet and calming and lingered on me all day after only two sprays. Never gave me a headache and always got compliments on it.

I caught this perfume on sale so I grabbed it as a blind buy. It's a nice blend of red berries and tuberose. I used it a lot this summer and I feel it works best then, for the fall I think I'll stick to Fantasy Intimate Edition. Overall I pretty daytime fragrance, inoffensive and really nice if you like white florals.

This perfume I love it very much because it smell is very much like a new doll is a very good smell I think you can work it in a lot of places, but I choose to wear daily because it just smells fresh but sweet and for me a little bit of plastic that’s why for me smells like a new doll Which I adore that smell

I just finished this bottle today and I know that I will miss it. I will be honest in the fact that I probably won't be buying it again because it is such a pungent scent that stays in your mind for a long time. At the same time, I don't understand why it is not more popular. It is just as good as Fantasy.

To my nose, smells alot like Viva La Juicy...not quite as gourmand....VLJ smells "smoother" and more pleasant. Radiance is very flowery and pretty (and on the plus side, inexpensive) but if I was spending my money, I'd go for Viva La Juicy.

I used up my whole bottle of Radiance but luckily I have a tiny bottle of it left. I just love its smell, it is so sweet and fruity and I used to love wearing it for summery evenings. It made me smell so yummy. My favourite Britney scent.

I love this! It's somewhat generic, but it gives much more expensive scents a run for their money! Just don't try the body wash, that smells metallic. The perfume is great though, and a bargain at Marshalls if you can find it!

The tuberose rules this frag! I love it though and I am not really a tuberose fanatic. This is so sweet and rich, yet mature and clean. The bottle is so heavy! This scent smells like it should cost more than it does. Try it!

Nice and soft fragrance, not overwhelming at all, and this is what I like about it. The floral, sweet and a bit of fruity notes are nicely blended. For day and night wearing. It just fits me very well :) :)

Sadly discontinued. Probably one of my favorite of Britney Spears perfumes. Spring and summer perfect. Sparkly, bubbly and candied berries. Fortunately I still have a bottle. I enjoy the light hearted vibe.

Radiance is my first Britney Spears's perfume. It's very sparkling, seductive and lovely scent. To me, Radiance smell like berries shampoo mix with tuberose, jasmine and irit oil. I love it too much

My absolute favourite of the Britney perfumes and has to be in my top 5 overall. I get a buzz from the moment I spray it. Very feminine and pretty, with great lasting power and freshness. Love it!!

I came to pay respects to one of my most loved white florals. I used up my bottle years ago and I still think about it sometimes. Sadly it has literally fallen off the face of the earth.

When I found out this beauty was discontinued , I stock piled this stuff. It's hard for me to find summer perfumes that I like. I love this perfume with it's pretty sugary berries.

One of my favourite perfumes, it's sweet and fresh. The bottle is so beautiful, sillage and longevity also good, it stays on my skin for 7 hours, very well-done Britney!

I actually think this smells the best after it gets past the opening. Not that the opening is bad or anything I'm just really liking the heart & the base the most!

This reminds me of my first job at 16. First thing I bought with my first pay! So fresh and clean smelling yet girly. Sadly it's discontinued now such a shame.

The scent of this perfume is very lovely, and the bottle is really pretty as well. In my opinion, This perfume smells like raspberries and cranberries.
