Rainbow Fantasy

Okay, so i finally received my bottle and a slight weight has been lifted off of my chest because i partially accepted the fact that i would never smell or own Rainbow Fantasy because the U.S. never got an official release. Well, technically we did on Britney's website, but it sold out so fast because it never hit the shelves in stores and after that, i guess they said that was it. No one could find a bottle for sale except on Ebay for a ridiculous price+ international shipping charges from another country. The opening is a fruity/berry scent, which i guess is the fingerlime and cloudberry. Then it quickly dries down and the fruit notes are joined by woody notes and amber and becomes a skin scent. I can't detect any cotton candy(Thank God). I heard people comparing this to Pink Sugar, which i can't stand. There are definitely no similarities to my nose, so that's a plus. I'm not sure how involved Britney was with this composition, given what she has been going through, but this is definitely a step in the right direction with the Fantasy line. So, my only hang up with this fragrance is the lasting power and the bottle. The fragrance only lasts a good 2 hours on my skin, which is extremely disappointing because Sunset Fantasy performs so well making my expectations high for this one and the bottle is supposed to represent a rainbow, but my bottle has more pink with a hint of blue and orange unlike the bottle that they advertised where the colors are evenly displayed on the bottle. In conclusion, it's a pretty scent, but not worth the $75 i paid for it. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 4/10

After finally getting my hands on this I can complete my collection. Have to say I am glad this one is unique at least. The scent delivery is very sweet and light. Being and EDT I expect not a great staying power. It’s weak. Close to body not strong or long lasting. I will say it does linger well on clothing but you have to go at it with several sprays. Aside from that the scent is very nice. Not very “fantasy” like which I’m glad. It’s in the house but unique at least. It does remind my nose of Katy Perry’s “Mad Love” but that has a stronger thicker scent more creamy and less linear and fruity like Rainbow is. It also reminds me a lot of Ariana’s Cloud which is just a tad bit thicker and heavier as well. They all have that cotton candy sticky sweet smell but rainbow does it better by being an EDT simply because it’s watered down with dewy sweet scents over it. But sadly has no staying power. Had they made this an EDP it could have been Show stopping! The bottle is aggravating. It’s pretty. But not “rainbow” enough. I had it in my display case next to a sunset fantasy and they almost blended in next to each other I had to move it and I realized yeah they’re almost similar. Really disappointed. The gems should have been a different color. The cap a different color. Oh well. The juice is a 7/10. Bottle 5/10. Ready for a NEW fragrance Britney!

I love this beautiful, delicious, dreamy & happy perfume so much! Nothing compares to juicy, mysterious sweet n sour, airy n cloudy, sunshine after rain-joyful, candy-in-the-most-dreamy-way Rainbow Fantasy! No niche, no designer, no nothing compares 2 this! Nothing in the huge perfumeindustry. Strange! The opening is all about the vibrantly green and undeniably citrusy fingerlime and the juicy delicious mouthwatering pear. It’s magically candylike when the notes blends together. Then the mysterious sweet and sour cloudberries plays perfectly well together with the sweet cotton candy spun sugar. Whimsical perfection... To me it’s these four notes that makes this perfume so special and unique with crystal amber in the background: Finger Lime, Pear, Cloudberry and Cotton candy. And each note stand out amaizingly on its own and at the same time each note blend so perfectly together, just like in a Rainbow. It’s one of my favorite perfumes for this warm summerevenings. I don’t smell any flowers in this at all, so for me its a true gourmand! The cotton candy is airy and dreamy -not at all ”Pink-sugar-ish”heavy! I’m wearing it right now and it is sooo goood! I sniff my arm and my friends, and my teenager kids sniff my lingering scent-trail in the warm swedish summerevening-air and we all agree: Such a shame that this gorgeous gem is discontinued!

as usual with Britney Spears fragrances, I blind bought this knowing I would love this one...and I wasn’t wrong at all! There’s something addictive about this scene that makes me wanting to continually re-apply throughout the day. When I first spray this perfume, the lemon and cotton candy are the first to kick in. It reminds me of lemonade and lemon tart. As it wears down it stays pretty much the same although the woods start to kick in and the sharp lemon note subtles down. The scene doesn’t last that long unfortunately, however stays on clothes for a VERY long time. I read a recent interview from Britney herself and she says she sprays Rainbow Fantasy in her hair, so i might try this. I was also rather surprised at how quick this fragrance was released here in Australia. She officially announced this and then I found it in store two days later! While prerogative took at least three weeks before I could get my hands on it. Very impressed! I rate this perfume an 8/10. Would’ve given it a 9 or possibly a 10 if the scent lasted just a little longer, however the scent itself is very beautiful. The packaging I’m in love with as well. Definitely one of my new favourite perfumes from her along with the original and Circus Fantasy :)

Tracked this down as I was really intrigued and had read lots of good things. At first I wasn’t blown away when I initially sniffed the sprayer, I got a strong burnt caramel smell. But on my skin this is so good. I get a zesty citrus-berry with the sweet cotton candy caramel ; each evening the other out so that this is neither too sour nor sweet but just lovely. There is a slight floral there too, but very brief. The dry down is a sweet amber for me. I think it does smell quite different to some of the other Fantasy flankers that I’ve smelled. Oh the bottle! When looking at it sitting on my dressing table with no direct sunlight it just appears overall very ‘pink’; however if you hold it up to the light and move it around you can see the rainbow colours. It’s beautiful! Agree with someone else who said the cap could’ve been a different colour but actually I think the hot pink ties it all together. This is a fabulous addition to the Britney range, just a shame it’s so hard to find now. I will treasure my 100ml bottle!

I feel so guilty for having ignored Britney Spears fragrances. I've always been a fan of hers, but there was this period when I had lost interest and her fragrance line didn't quite interest me...Well, the general prejudice towards the celebrity perfumes. But, having started reading some reviews about her line and then having found fragrances at such a low price during my stay in Spain, I got obsessed with them. I first bought the original Fantasy and then Midnight Fantasy. I prefer the original one over Midnight Fantasy, but oh my God, Rainbow Fantasy is a gem. It is heaven! It is juicier and tad fruitier than the original EdP, but not so much as Midnight Fantasy. Such a nice balance of sweetness with juicier notes lingering in the background. If you think/are afraid the original EdP might be too sweet for you, I'd recommend to give this one a try. And the bottle is so, so lovely!

Finally got my grubby little hands on this for about 28$ here in the states. Which thank goodness because all of the international sellers are charging way too much for this. (Almost 80$) This is at the moment one of my favorite fantasy flankers, it reminds me the most of what the OG smelled like. Before they reformulated and took the crystals off the neck of the bottle. Its that cotton candy note I think, because as a preteen I remember describing it as designer cotton candy scented as I begged my parent to buy it and they never did. Its light and doesn't have the lasting power I would like it to but overall I love it. Reminds me of nostalgic sleepovers with old friends.

I bought this the other day and absolutely love it. If you like the original Fantasy and also like Cloud by Ariana this will be right up your alley. I have been a bit dissappointed overall in Britney's recent perfumes. Though I like them, they just haven't been memorable. For example, Private Show is nice but it is so generic and safe that it has become boring. But, enter Rainbow Fantasy. The bottle in person is stunning and really eye catching. Pictures don't do it justice. The fragrance takes the things you like about fantasy and add in a bit of a modern twist (think Cloud by Ariana) to create a really gorgeous and actually pretty unique concoction. Recommended.

Lovespell untamed is a great dupe and you can find it for cheap. It's not the same. But it's the closest thing to the scent that you'll find. Rainbow fantasy is so unique it's really hard to find anything that smells like it. This perfume is by far the best fantasy flanker. I hope that bring it to the US. It is so unique. It's creamy and fruity and has a bit of tartness but it's just really warm and sexy in a fruity way. It's like a luxurious body wash. I feel like If you like BBW warmer fruity scents like twilight woods you would like this. This smells nothing like twilight woods. But its deep and fruity. Smooth and sweet. It's just so unique.

I finally bit the bullet and spent over $100 for a new in box, still sealed bottle of this from eBay. I’ve wanted this perfume for years, ever since it just came out back in 2019 I believe. It was worth every penny! This smells like being enveloped in a sweet, fluffy pink cloud. I get the lime, cloudberry and delicious cotton candy. SO happy to finally have this and it’s my absolute favorite in my Britney collection. It’s just too bad it’s so hard to find here in the US. Im going to have to save up for another backup bottle, if I can even find another one

Okay updated review. The other day I just decided to wear this after not for a while. It’s winter time currently where I live and been COLD and I swear fragrances that aren’t great in the summer I always re test in fall or winter. I have close to 160 fragrances and can’t ever decide what to wear each day let alone something repeated. But. This I wore for about 6 days straight. Just smells amazing in colder weather. I got soooo many compliments. It’s just a perfect fall winter cold scent. The sweet sugary floral scent it’s a real winner.

Just got a big bottle for 25 bucks. Score! Blind bought it and I'm telling you so far it's my second fav out of the five that I currently own. First one being Candied Fantasy. This is sunshine in a bottle type of scent. Spring/summer for sure. Absolutely amazing. It's unique. Whatever cloudberry is I think it's that, never came across this note in a perfume. I can distinguish the lime in it and it's perfectly awesome. This is a total banger. Everything that I have from Britney is amazing. I need all of her frags like now.

Smells EXACTLY like the retired Cherry from the signature vanillas collection of bath and body works from 9 years ago. I wore that fragrance mist for a date back in high school and the guy who i was out with at the movies couldn't stop leaning over to my side to catch a whiff of it. It's sweet but light and fresh. I wear it on days when it's a little bit cold out and it gives like a little "welcoming" warmth. It's a fun, youthful scent and it takes me back to the good ol times i had as a teenager

For those asking about where to buy in the states, Mercari and Poshmark Have some available. That’s where I bought this one and prerogative rave. It was well worth the price. This is one of the best from the fantasy line. I saw other people say that this didn’t last long on them but I’ve just worked an 8 hour day and can still smell it on myself. Highly recommend this fragrance.

I tried that mysterious rainbow before I got the real version and it sucked. When I got the real one, it was like wow. Should have bought the whole real bottle when it was going for $100. I don't understand why they took it off the market. You can't find a seller anywhere, so it's not like the manufacturer is monopolizing the price. Pointless, when they could make it again

Rainbow Fantasy is the second fragrance I love for it's similarities to a hair product I came accross during my apprenticeship. RF reminds me of a shine spray called Shine It made by PPS. Brings back fond memories of my hairdressing days. RF is fruity, sweet & even a tiny bit soapy which I love. Not much projection & lasting power is a bit average. Still love it though

Divine. Just Devine. The right amount of sweetness. The right amount of fruitiness. The right choice and balance of florals. All this in what has to be my all time favourite pretty bottle. Almost the perfect fragrance. Almost. The only problem I have is being a toilette, it doesn't last long. Best to drown oneself in it and get some body heat happening.

Kind of fabulous, but very immature. It's a bit like fairy floss zooper doopers (Australian popsicle) mixed with apricots and (unfortunately) non-descript synthetic florals. I mean, for Britney Spears, it's actually less than expected but still entirely lovely. Overall, if you're into (let's face it) girly perfumes, this is it. It's trashy chic.

Rainbow Fantasy is an excellent flanker. It does smell a great deal like a lemon cheesecake, with a super-sweet cotton candy note underlying the main notes. The drydown is still sweet but with an added powdery/woodsy aroma that lends maturity to the overall scent.This is a delicious fragrance that lasts all day and has pretty decent sillage.

I’m new to Britney’s perfume line but wow, I’m in love with this one! If you like sweet, yummy scents like AG’s Sweet Like Candy and Viva La Juicy Gold then you need to try this one. I own a good amount of Fantasy flankers and this is by far the most candy-like one, It’s very lime candy scented!

This scent is absolutely divine. The notes combine perfectly to create a fragrance that you just can't get enough of. Perfectly sweet, with just the right amount of pear and lime to balance things out. The longevity is incredible for an Eau de Toilette. I can smell it hours after spraying.

I just bought 100ml for 14.95 at Savers here in England. Rubbish teenager perfume. Got it for my 7 year old who loves the fantasy bottles and collects them. Update: have been using this "rubbish" frequently. Love it. Has an aquatic vibe beyond its sweetness which is reallt nice.

I bought this the other day and I'm just loving the beautiful sweet fruity notes. I can smell the fairy floss and after the dry down I can smell vanilla (even though vanilla isn't listed). My gosh the bottle is gorgeous. I think this might be the best Fantasy fragrance created.

It's gorgeous.... Tested it today in savers (£14 for 100ml!almost bought it B U T.....) my only issue is the lasting power.. I do wish it was an edp not an edt.... If it was stronger it would be perfect. The sillage on initial spray is great, if only it would last!

This smells soo good! You get the sweetness that you want from a Britney perfume, but it’s not as spicy and the original fantasy, and it has a soft cloudy sweet vibe that I love. Can’t stop smelling myself lol

There is something absolutely delicious about this. I think it’s the sweet fruits/citrus mixed with cotton candy. My favorite fantasy ever. Fresh, sweet, airy, and delightful. Keep an eye on fragrancenet.

I just got coco colada from my skylar scent club and it reminds me a lot of this. I guess rainbow fantasy reminds me of coco colada and circus fantasy mixed together.

I got a full bottle on eBay (unboxed) for £80. Overpriced? Yes definitely. But oh my gosh this is such a mouth watering scent. I LOOOOOVE IT🌈

If Britney's freedom and rights are a concern to you - I bought this thinking Britney would indeed get my money now that she is "free", BUT NO, her dad and Lou Taylor own the trademark to "Britney Spears Fantasy." That is why there are so many (and current/new) Fantasy flankers, yet there haven't been new non-Fantasy "Britney Spears" fragrances, like Curious or Private Show). They are continuing to make money off of the name of the target of their alleged human trafficking scheme. If I ever buy another Fantasy and flanker, it would be from the grey market of someone clearly decluttering their collection (not a "reseller"). But I probably wouldn't because my favorites (imo, the OG, Midnight, and Circus) are available as "impression" oils on websites like Universal Perfumes and Generic Perfumes. Now, my review: When I first bought this, I immediately regretted it and wanted to declutter it. It was the middle of summer in southern California, and I thought the main accords of "citrus, green, aromatic, fresh" would be balanced well with the sweet notes that I usually crave. Nope, it smelled so gross. To quote my old review: "I hate to say this, but that cotton candy is SO strong, and the fruit/lime notes are SO strong.. and I guess they're not blended *that* well? So my brain interprets it as an unpleasant note of.. stale, dried urine, like what you smell when you drive under a bridge where a drunk dude might have spent the night :( " BUT. I let it macerate. And now it's one of my favorite Fantasies. Everything is all balanced now. The citrus, green, aromatic, and fresh accords really complement the sweet, fruity, and caramel accords. The cotton candy and cloudberry are sweet and yummy, and the pear leaf, finger lime, and water lily make everything zesty and light. The contrast makes it really interesting to smell and even more versatile to wear. I wore it in the winter and spring, both morning and evening, and it never seemed out of place. If you can get it, especially through someone decluttering their collection, then I recommend it! Or, I know that there is a "dupe" called Mysterious Rainbow that can be found at Five Below and Rainbow Shops. I haven't tried it though, so I can't speak to longevity.

Blind bought this perfume just because it had a cotton candy note. Most Britney perfumes tend to be sweet so I wasn't worried about it being too fresh, aquatic or any of those things. It starts out pretty fruity with a citrus tinge. I think I also get pear and waterlily because there's something a little fresh and airy but it's not too much to change that this is mainly a sweet perfume. The dry down is where the magic happens. I almost get this caramel resin, thick gooeyness with a sugary treat and I LOVE THAT!! Has to be the combo of the cotton candy and amber together playing well. My boyfriend smelled me after a couple hours wearing this perfume and said "You smell like the first time we started hanging out" I WAS TAKEN ABACK!! We met in the winter so I'm pretty sure during that time I was wearing a lot of jessica simpson fancy (mixed with my gourmand bodycare). These 2 fragrances do not smell alike and are not dupes, but I believe he's referring to just the sweet warm scent he used to get off me, and jessica simpson fancy is a fruity caramel scent. So...safe to say this is a GREAT BLIND BUY, will stay in my collection. I enjoy it, and it will be well loved. Haven't worn it in extreme heat to see how it does since it's been a bit rainy here but will definitely come back and edit for weather. Also this is pretty hard to find in the states unless you go to Ebay, mercari, or poshmark and who wants to pay those jacked up prices. Keep an eye on discount sites for this and maybe it'll come back to their inventory.

The Rainbow bottle is utterly gorgeous in person. The photos don't do it justice at all. Its worth getting just to have the bottle and that is something I definitely wouldn't normally do. It IS the prettiest Fantasy bottle yet. The fragrance is what I would call 'juicy'. I can detect all the flowers mentioned, the fruit plus the cotton candy. I keep sniffing my arm. It definitely has a 'summer' vibe. Its 'young' in spirit. Its an uplifting, carefree happy fragrance. It also has a 'cheap' element too but I would quickly add cheerful. So cheap and cheerful sometimes is not always a bad thing. I popped down to the shops just now and really its just quite lovely to wear getting about your day. It has its place in my perfume collection for sure. Its weak in strength so on the clothes is where it will go in future but it is stronger than what I was expecting so that's good. And lastly it does not have the Fantasy DNA. Its completely independent like eg Midnight Fantasy or Hidden Fantasy. Hope this review is helpful.

This is a funny one for me... Who else gets nutty vibes? This nutty element reminds me of perfect intense by Marc Jacobs (although they aren’t dupes at all by the way, just that initial nutty scent is familiar). I don’t get sweet at all, it’s a really unusual flanker. It is hard to describe, the only words that come to mind are warm, nutty, cozy. If it was in a climate, it would be somewhere hot and sandy. The image that comes to mind when I smell it is a Moroccan woman with thick black curly long hair which smells like this. She is effortlessly beautiful and this is her scent (which is also effortless). I think I like it😂🤷♀️ I definitely don’t find it offensive or anything but I’m not quite sure I understand it yet. I can’t work out what it’s meant to do for me, but I’m happy to wear it more and learn. I feel like my experience on this one is unique though so maybe it’s just me😂

Definitely smell the original Fantasy DNA and I have no clue which notes or which combination of notes it is but this to me smells like the original fantasy DNA mixed with a moderate amount of freshly brewed coffee type of aroma. Thats what my nose makes of this lol. I didn't fall in love with it but I do like it. I'd rate it a 7 or 7.5 out of 10. Who knew this would be so hard to find and/or discontinued in just 2 and a half years lol. This is almost impossible to find now. If any of you are interested....I actually listed mine on Ebay (Sept 2022) and it's literally THE only bottle / listing on Ebay or Amazon. ;) I LOVE the bottle also. Beautiful. Only reason I even have that bottle listed on Ebay is because I out of a total streak of luck....I bought a second one when I bought that one so I still have another full bottle for my personal use.

Finally they put it on data. I got myself a 30ml bottle from Chemist Warehouse in Australia. The opening was kinda fruity citrus, heart notes had bit of Pink Sugar vibe and when it dried down it smelled like Beyonce Heat Rush and Ariana Grande Cloud mixed together. Honestly the scent is not unique you may find it has similar scent to other perfumes. The bottle looks more beautiful than itself on package Update: After wearing about a week I have to say this one is very soft. It stays on skin or clothes less than 3hrs. You want to smell it you have to sniff where you spray. I really enjoy this scent right now but probably won’t repurchase.I still keep my opinion that it smell like Heat Rush and Cloud mixed together; creamy fruity sweet scent.

I was never into the summer editions of Fantasy flankers until last year's [Sunset Fantasy], and this year's edition is just as nice... There is something green and leafy alongside the sweet-but-fresh citrus & berry fruit blend, and it's accompanied by the candy floss accord, that comes and goes throughout Rainbow Fantasy's wear. The floral notes are light and stay behind the fruits and candy floss; I can make out the listed peony, but I can't separate any of the others. A simple blend of musky amber and sandalwood develops within an hour and accompanies the lingering lime, peony and candy Floss accord for the final drydown - the fragrance is light and close-to-the-skin, so it's hard to say how long it wears.

the scent is so lovely, the little i can smell of it that is. I don ́t know why they have made this scent so weak with no sillage. i can spra myself with like 30 sprays and just smell a whiff of it. Her other fantasy perfumes are really good sillage and last 6+ h. Ok most of them are edp, but there are a few that is edt, but strong and good sillage. So i have no idea why this is so weak. Hopefully they will remake this scent as an edp, and have the strong and longlasting quality that her other perfumes are.

I could swear there was mango in it! Tried it today at the drugstore for the first time and was immediately hit with a familiar scent- the new orange/pink Angel by Mugler that has that juicy mango note. Felt like stuffing my face with fresh fruits all day long. Also felt much younger and flirtier than I actually am, which is nice at times. A fun ride for sure, and at a bargain!
