Sunset Fantasy

I finally got my hands on Sunset Fantasy. I had no idea what to expect from this one, but I'm really loving it! Britney's perfumes are so well mixed, and well balanced. That balance is something I find missing from a lot of other perfumes. Upon first spraying this, I get a whiff of the fruit notes. It's a pleasant fruit splash, not overwhelmingly fruity or sweet. It quickly brings in the amber and foamed milk froth. I love how warm it is. Based on the reviews below, I was so eager to try this. I know everyone has been comparing it to peaches & cream, and while that's not what I'm getting from this, I still love it. To me, I don't just smell one fruit, and I definitely don't just get a whiff of cream with this scent. Instead I get the fruit blending with the amber and milk froth, to create a warm tropical treat. It's sexy and summery. I love how both the fruity notes and the warm creamy notes are present. I feel like a lot of other perfumes you smell one or the other, and the scent is either fruity or creamy. Team Britney once again finds the balance, so the perfumes isn't one or the other. I find that the case with most of her perfumes. The name fits the scent perfectly. I imagine a long day at the beach and then going out at night with the girls. This is what you'd put on for that summer night out! With that being said you can wear this other times of day/times of year. I imagine rotating this, Island Fantasy, and Maui Fantasy all summer long, but feel free to wear it all year. Sunset is warmer/spicier/creamier than Island or Maui, so they really created something different here. Highly recommend if you're a fan of the Fantasy line!

Sunset Fantasy is sickly sweet, rich, heavy and juicy, I absolutely loved it when I first got it for years and I still love it. Its sweetness can suffocate you but I relate it to summer, somehow it smells fresh on me (happens with green apple, I think it makes perfumes less cloying). It is close in genre to perfumes like Forever Red (vanilla, peach, green apple), perfumes like Prada Candy Gloss (no resemblance just same family), as far as the vibe and the genre it belongs to, radiating that zesty overly sweet fruitiness, with peach and orange blossom as common notes. Peach is a heavy note. Also same family as Beyond Romance RL, with their mandarin and raspberry syrupy sweetness. With Sunset Fantasy I get mainly the orange blossom which I find in Playboy VIP and Playboy VIP makes me nauseous (that heliotrope, cashmere wood and red berries combo), Sunset Fantasy not at all! The rest of the perfume as time passes is very ambery, milky with the orange blossom and sandalwood pairing so well, it has enough woodiness to keep it balanced. The sillage is strong and it keeps reminding me of (the orange blossom in) Playboy VIP, yet when I smell closer to my arm I view Sunset Fantasy as a unique different perfume with its own strong peachy, milky and sweet strange character. I wear it with summer dresses, mini skirts and heels. Its loud, over the top, sweet and alittle obnoxious, kinda like me lol.

Soft, juicy and delicious. This was also a love at first sniff for me. I am a huge Britney fan and adore *most* of her perfumes, with Midnight Fantasy, Intimate Fantasy and VIP Private Show still being in my rotation, and for some reason, this one always passed me by. So, when I saw a 30ml bottle for £12 on eBay, I snapped it up. Opening spray for me is delicious, mouthwatering orange creamsicle, plump peach, tart raspberries, milky vanilla with just a touch of fresh apple. It's kind of like a Britney x Escada collab as it's very tropical and summery smelling, like a scrummy cocktail that you order when you're dolled up with the girls for sunset drinkies. I personally think the bottle is stunning, but then I have a soft spot for Britney's bottle designs. That pink to yellow gradient is gorgeous and definitely matches the juice inside with the raspberry and orange notes. Boyfriend's verdict: "Wow. You smell amazing." *smooches neck* "Eugh, doesn't taste great though." Overall this is a very sweet yet "happy" scent. I can't imagine anyone being offended by this, it just smells so good and care free. I just want to spray myself over and over again, but I must avoid the temptation as I think Sunset Fantasy will go right to the top of my 5 favourite summer scents.

Amazing blind buy if you're in a pinch in the summer. What I smell - a strong kick of peach, coconut and pineapple under a cloud of vanilla.. There is a very slight sharp apple sandalwood at the very end to make it stand out, which is more evident when applied on skin. What it reminds me of - Marc Jacobs Daisy Love but with pina colada instead of florals. Just got it today, so I cant speak for how long it lasts, but I can definitely smell it pushing off my skin for a lot longer than any of her other EDT such as Island Fantasy. To those who say it does not have any Fantasy DNA, neither does Circus Fantasy which is similar to this. I would say Circus Fantasy is more spring/early summer whereas this is deep summer. Ideally for daytime but the sandalwood could make it passable as a night fragrance. I was admittedly underwhelmed at first smell, but I can see myself actually needing to have this in my collection for hot summers where I do not want to smell of florals, jasmine, patchouli, musk or anything else that would be sharp, annoying or headache inducing. So while yes, it is a youthful, I think it can be seen as sophisticated as its inoffensive and addicting to smell. Overall 8.5/10

Delicious! The peach/raspberry really shines in this one. Very fruity and sweet, however, the dry down becomes creamy. You definitely get that "milk froth" accord and the vanilla/amber accords as well. I definitely agree that it smells quite similar to VIP Private Show. Sister scents for sure. SADLY.. it did NOT last, much like others have commented here. It is however an EDT, and after reading the reviews I did not expect it to perform like my beloved Fantasy. Glad I only got a vial sample to try. If this was an EDP and had much better longevity/sillage, I might consider swapping it with my current signature... that's how good it is. Oh well! Bonus: my boyfriend loveeeedddd it. My signature is the original Fantasy (pink bottle/green gems) and he really likes that one, but this one was "a change" for him so he was stuck to my neck/arm all night sniffing. lol Sillage: Moderate/arms length Longevity: Weak (1-2 hours) Scent Rating: 8.5/10

I have been sniffing this bjuti many times, and had decided to buy it first time it turned up again in the shops, and they had it in a shop in Bergen, I was visiting family and friends, so I bought this tiny bottle 30 ml. The bottle is so very cute, it's really supercute!! This is my second Britney Spears perfume ever, and as with my first Britney, VIP, this one also smells absolutely fabolously gooood!! It is sweet, and sweet, and sweet, I smell some berries, and some flowers, and the peach, and much later on the vanilla. The sillage though, is very poor, and the great first-impression-smell disappears very quick, *snufs* , but, I spray myself over and over again all the time, and press my nose close to my wrist *all the time* :D The drydown comes after an hour, and it smells mostly of vanilla, and hints of raspberries and peaches. It's a 8/10 from me. 2 minus because of the weak sillage.

I'm anxiously awaiting the big bottle of Sunset, I blew through my 30ml in a month. When I found the 100ml I banged the buy it button so hard 😂 I love this so much it's insane. I learned to put it on the body away from the face , otherwise I go anosmic to it. But on legs, lower stomach, I smell everything and it's beautiful 🥰 So sweet, but fresh, a silky vanilla, juicy raspberries, tiny touch of woodiness. It doesn't last forever but I don't mind topping up occasionally. Great for morning, bedtime and all that's in the middle as far as I'm concerned. I'm crazy for scents like this, I put it in my top of PH Heiress and SJP NYC. The bottle is precious also. 9.5 of 10, only because the cap should be a peachy gold like the bottom of the bottle. There is nothing offensive in Sunset for my many smell sensitivities.

Homemade peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream on top. That’s exactly what this smells like to me. I actually really enjoy this. Although the opening is slightly brighter than the dry down, this scent is pretty linear which sometimes in a good thing to me. This is peaches and cream done right. I can’t stress enough how creamy this is. Which is perfect because it keeps it from being just a sugary dry down. Sunset fantasy reminds me of a few things. First one being a peach mango creamsicle melting on a warm summer night. It also reminds me of a mix between herbal essence hello hydrationtion and body envy conditioners. And call me crazy but do you guys remeber Britney’s music video for ‘Don’t let me be the last to know’??? I’m 100% sure this is what she smelled like in that video lol.

Updated Review: My opinion on this perfume is still the same as my previous post. I just wanted to add that this scent actually really works better on me in the winter. I didn’t reach for it much through the summer because I pretty much only wore Givenchy Hot Couture but I did wear sunset fantasy last winter and have started back wearing it now that it’s cooling down. It is such an intoxicating scent. Sweet, creamy peaches and amber infused goodness that never seems to get cloying. It has an ever so slight shampoo vibe that I enjoy because it helps to give you that “I’m clean” smell. Love love love. This will likely be one of my winter go to perfumes alongside Revlon fire and ice.

Sunset Fantasy is absolutely yummy!!! I am obsessed with this fragrance. First spray, I get the mandarin and general fruitiness. The apple and grapefruit aren’t very strong - which I am ok with. I don’t always love those type of fruit notes on my skin. After a few minutes Sunset Fantasy seems to melt into my skin and just make my skin smell fantastic. There is no heavy perfume cloud around me. This fragrance really shines when the mid and base notes come out. Peach and whipped milk make this fragrance so enjoyable. The amber and vanilla seem so much more expensive than what you would expect in a celebrity perfume. I absolutely need a bottle of this fragrance.

I got this beauty from one of our fellow fragranticans in a swap. This definitely has the Fantasy DNA, but it feels different, in a good way. First: You feel the peaches and cream. I don't feel pears or citrus at all. To me, it's peaches and thick sweet cream. After hours, it feels warm. Sandalwood is what makes it feel that way for me. This is like an after christmas dinner warm peach pie with a thick dollop of whipped cream. There is something that reminds me of the original. Maybe the vanilla? The original feels warm and decadent after a while for me. This one is very special. I wish it were easier to find!

I'm in LOVE!! This fragrance is intoxicating! Peaches, cream, vanilla and amber are very prominent in this fragrance. I cannot detect any of the other notes listed. This is a very warm, playful, fruity scent that can be worn year round. I can't believe i was hesitant to buy this for so long. This has a very decent longevity on my skin. I get about a good 6 hours on my skin with about 3 feet of projection. I love that britney has continued this fantasy line for this long. I just wish i could get my hands on that Renner exclusive bottle. Scent:9/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 8/10

Peachy, lactonic, amber dreammmmm :) It's very dreamy. All syntheticness disappears within a minute and this lovely creamy feminine aroma shows up. You know when you watch a stunning and beautiful sunset on a hot summer day and it's just so peaceful? Well this is like that translated into a beautiful fragrance. This is everythingggggg. Howeverrrrrr, I wish I could smell it on myself longer so idk if i'm overapplying drenching myself and suffocating others around me or if the silage is mediocre *crying face* but either way, I'm enjoying the big bottle I purchased

This is the best Britney perfume I've ever smelled! It smells like a sweet peachy, raspberry vanilla mix. In the beginning it's mostly raspberry and grapefruit, then it gets creamier and the peach gets more prominent before the vanilla and mousse comes through and makes it smell like a creamy vanilla peach dream. After a couple hours the amber and sandalwood get noticeable and the peachy vanilla turns powdery and almost a bit musky, making it kind of unisex. Not too strong, lasts long, not too sweet, I love it!

This is the summery,creamier, more mature version of Fantasy. First spraying the bottle, it smells very fruity. The mandarin and peach really stand out. The intial smell of this perfume gives off a summer fruit shake vibes. Then it develops in to a nice milky and amber with a little hint of woody dry-drown which gives the fragrance more depth and maturity. The scent last for a good 6 hours and I did gets lots of compliments with this perfume. This is a fun fragrance suitable for all ages

a lovely cousin to the much missed Private Show. where Private Show highlights the lactonic, though, Sunset Fantasy leans into a delicious blend of light raspberry goodness and a woodsy oriental blend I can only call bliss. this is an EDT but, surprisingly, it's quite long lasting. usually, it stays on my skin with decent projection for 5 hours, then it fades away. but it does stay on clothes if you spray plenty, like a true Fantasy flanker would.

The initial spritz is a little powdery and maybe a little tart. As it begins to warm up, the milky note, vanilla and amber take on this deliciously delicate and creamy scent. The citruses take front stage while the other notes blend together for a nice soft fruity and milky fragrance. This is such a beautiful and delicate fragrance Also, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous Silage is pretty inoffensive, gently greeting everyone Longevity is 2-4 hours

''Sunset Fantasy'' is such a gorgeous creamy sweet and fruity perfume! I can definitely smell the peach, the raspberry leaf, vanilla and the milk mousse. It's such a beautiful scent, that is very enjoyable. A warm and sensual scent. I love it!!! Longevity is good.It is also a little bit similar to '' VIP Private Show'' but that one is more powdery, more fruity, less creamy and a lot less sweet.

At first you get a sweet green apple, reminds me of like a fruity lip gloss, then the middle notes really blend in with the green apple and other top notes, once it dries down you get a very sweet warm fruity smell, very elegant fragrance and very different from Britneys other sweet scents. Highly recommend it's so beautiful and I would wear for summer nights and also good for winter💖

Unbelievably just snatched a big bottle for pennies! This is sooo y2k in the best way possible. Cannot distinguish the notes for the life of me but I really don't care. It's perfect. Gonna be my absolute jam this spring and summer. It looks like I'm not only a fan of Britney herself but her perfumes as well. Need all of them like now. Absolute winner.

I finally got myself a bottle of this. It's definitely fleeting, but oh my is it gorgeous! Yummy, creamy-juicy, so fresh and summery. I wish it lasted longer. I feel like the creamy notes are very dominant here, but that's fine. They are perfectly rounded out by a hint of zesty citrus and the sweetness of the peach. Sexy peaches and cream. I love it!

I love this fragrance so much it’s so beautiful. And it’s goes well together with the peach and milky smell glad to have got two bottles of this as I will keep one for use and one for my collection. But sadly it doesn’t last very long on my skin. Rainbow fantasy is more long lasting but I glad to have this in my collection and I love the bottle

A summery delight. It doesn't project, or last, as long as any of Britney's more iconic EDPs, this being an EDT, but its mix of fruit, lactonic notes & Australian sandalwood is to die for. An easy reach for me. One of the more unique & sultry Fantasy flankers. Private Show adjacent, though that scent is a different beast.

I finally could try that one. Sweet, but just enough, velvety, powdery, flowery, roses... That's the impression I had. I love it! This one is on my list. Lasted a good amount hours too. I not sure about silage but when I've sprayed, my hubby could smell easily from an arm distance several minutes after applying.

I love this!! This smells so yummy!! On me this is a delicious peachy,raspberry,light manadarin citrus with a very faint vanilla scent. Sillage and longevity are weak to faintly moderate on me (having to reapply is fine with me!) and this is a perfect hot weather perfume.

I'm getting a light raspberry with peaches and cream. It's a little powdery but not too much, it's really beautiful. I find myself reaching for this one now the weather is starting to warm up. It's definitely one of the better Fantasy flankers.

I love this, it's one of the best, it reminds me a lot of the original. It is fruity and the citrus note of mandarin and grapefruit is very noticeable, it also seems to me that it tastes a lot like grapes, even if I don't see it among the notes

Love at first sniff 😍 This is the perfect balance between juicy & creamy. Such a happy sunny scent Sunset Fantasy makes me think of a yummy orange & raspberry creamsicle I feel like I could wear this in any type of weather / temperature

Sweet, fruity, pineapple, milkshake. A scent to become happy of! Also a whiff of beachy/salty, but the Vanilla sweetness covers it. The sweetness does not become bothersome, but Plays well into the other tropical notes. Well done!

Absolutely lovely scent, smells fabulously delicious.Quite musky and strong with good projection and moderate longevity .Her perfumes have been impressively consistent.Delightful

I was finally able to snag a 3.3oz bottle. It’s becoming increasingly hard to obtain the larger bottles of Britney’s fragrances lately. She’s only got this in stores in a 1.0oz size and that’s just laughable. Especially for a weaker scent as it’s a EDT. The bottle is gorgeous and I enjoy the jewels being back on the translucent and two tone bottle. The juice. While it is a EDT it seems to hold well, and doesn’t seem to be too stuffy. I will say first whiff it reminds me of VIP Private Show. That same citrus floral with a warm sugary spice scent. VIP private show is a citrus version of that spicy chocolate warm sugary Private Show. Well, Sunset Fantasy dabbles with that. One of my fave Britney fragrances and I also label as one of her most Uni-Sex fragrances is “Fantasy - The NAUGHTY Remix”, this scent also smells a good bit like that. There’s a snip of the cinnamon and spice undertone in this scent. I did not really expect that? No one has really reviewed this. But, when I looked over the notes. Bam there it is spice, amber, vanilla milk froth. It’s all there. A milky spicy tropical blend. It’s not at all what I expected. If anything I think this will be a more mature version of what VIP could have been. I wear that a lot and I only managed to get a 1.7oz bottle of that and it’s gone almost. Lots of compliments on that, I’m anxious to see how Sunset wears and of compliments come in. So far one days wear has been nice and close to the body but it’s a total makeover of VIP and Naughty remix but in a new bottle and ANOTHER Fantasy flanker.

Sunset Fantasy is a pleasant mix of peach, berries, sweet citrus and mild powdered floral notes - I'm quite sure that peony is in the mix and maybe rose? The fragrance soon becomes milky and warm, with the cream, amber and a light vanilla note developing fairly quickly. This is a fairly linear fragrance on me which sometimes niggles me in fragrances, but doesn't actually bother me here. Wear-time is decent enough for a EDT, at up to six hours. It does wear pretty close to the skin, though. Straight away Sunset Fantasy reminded me of Victoria's Secret long-since discontinued fragrance Love Rocks, which is a perfume that you can't find here in the UK, so that is pleasing to me. This isn't anything close to being original and doesn't remind me of Fantasy at all [like the reviewer below, this reminds me more of VIP Private Show], but for a seasonal LE release that is fairly low priced and will be kept on various offers during it's in-store run, Sunset Fantasy is a pretty good effort - if you want a cheaper more casual spring/summer option, collect Britney Spears fragrances, or want a gift option for someone, then Sunset Fantasy is worth checking out. In the UK stores seem to sell a single bottle size, that is exclusive to them; Superdrug stores sell a 30ml bottle and it currently has £5 off the price.

Review is for my own future reference - I am pleasantly surprised by this perfume! I was expecting another sickly sweet scent from Britney, but this one is fresh, spicy, and woody. I think it'd be a great unisex fragrance. Pretty bottle. I don't know if I'd buy a full bottle - I'll have to try it a bit more. If it was $20 for 100ml I'd probably go ahead and just grab it. I would def keep if gifted to me. It's called Sunset Fantasy, but it could be worn day/night and really any season. I think I'd be beautiful on a fall night. It's not super strong as to be expected from an EDT. It's sweet and woody, not too sweet and I don't smell anything lactonic. I'm glad I tried another Fantasy scent from Britney, the OG is one of my all-time favorite scents and what got me into perfume <3 Give it a try! :) Edit: I've been wearing it for a few hours and the lasting power seems good so far but I do find I am a bit annoyed by the scent. I don't know if maybe I've smelt too many perfume yesterday and today, but it feels a bit cloying. I just showered and I can still smell it on my skin, it smells like an Axe body wash Edit 2: I woke up this morning and I could still smell it on my skin, talk about a long-lasting EDT! The apple note it too synthetic and I think that's what makes me feel nauseous with it

I'm super happy she went back to the traditional fantasy bottle designs rather than the modern designs she used for Maui and In Bloom fantasy bottles. Without the beautiful rhinestones on the fantasy bottles, it isn't as pretty or unique...and is what makes Fantasy so iconic. The last perfume to have the rhinestones on the bottle was Intimate Fantasy (2015). The fragrance sounds like something I'd wear. From the notes, it seems like Sunset Fantasy will have a similarity with Circus Fantasy (2009) as there are some similar notes such as Raspberry and Vanilla. But with the combination of other new notes, this fragrance could be something totally unique! When this comes out in my country (may not come out till early 2018 as it takes almost forever for us to get new perfumes), I will most definitely give this a smell and a purchase. I will continue my review when I get a decent idea and opinion on Sunset Fantasy.

Compared to other scents in the Fantasy Flankers, this one is different. It’s fruity and a little musky like all the others, but what sets it apart is the milk mousse note. The result is a fruity and creamy scent. I don’t pick up any specific fruit notes, but looking at the notes I was surprised to find citrus in the composition. I would’ve thought it would make the milk note go sour, but it doesn’t. For a summer scent, this is different from usual scents which tend to be fresh, aquatic, fruity or floral forward. This one is best described as a warm creamy scent. I like it and can’t wait to see how it will wear in warmer weather. This one doesn’t project very far, it’s much more intimate.

This is a good cheap fragrance for summer - super fruity, lightweight and flirty, but if i’m honest the dry down isn’t for me. I definitely smell some similarities to the original fantasy which is a favourite of mine, but there’s something about it that I’m really not keen on which is disappointing as I was looking forward to this. I’ll admit, it wasn’t what I expected it to smell like, I expected a fresh fruity gourmand but I wouldn’t describe it as such. Not a lot of projection compared to the OG however. I like layering this with VS bare vanilla to get more of a gourmand fragrance. Overall, I’d say try before you buy - I blind bought this and was rather disappointed.

I was really looking forward to this one, particularly with the milk mousse/vanilla/peach/raspberry. However in the first hour or so after spray it smelled kind of "heavy" almost like I was smelling a lot of the base notes perhaps. In some ways it reminds me of Dazzle by Paris Hilton...not in how they smelled per say but the sweetness. I think honestly I was looking for like a peach version of Sweet Like Candy somehow, and this wasn't it. It's still a nice fragrance I just got wrapped up in my own expectations of it. I'd prefer Rocker Femme over this. I'd rate it an 8/10.

I like the bottle and its color is very pretty, the scent is cute, creamy, peachy, sweet. it doesn't last very long and the sillage is quite soft, almost skin scent unless you spray heavily with this. I didn't like it at first and didn't wear it for like a year then I tried it a few days ago, I think it's very beautiful, I imagine if I go to Bali, I would wear this perfume watching the sunset dressing sexy with my man, it's kinda flirty also. Now I love love love this one, think it's my most favorite Fantasy flanker up to date.

Ideally, I would like to collect all of Britney’s fragrances, especially this one (I have a weakness for ombre bottles), but from memory this smells so similar to Private Show. They don’t have the same notes pyramid, but there’s hardly any distinctions to my nose, and I already own two back up bottles of PS, so I will have to skip this one. This is soft and delicate like PS, a little zingier, but only by the faintest touch. I would say this is more Spring and Summer while PS is more Fall/Winter, but I don’t need to own both.

If the other Britney Spears fragrances were too vanilla/ bubblegum-y then this might be the pic for you. This one is definitely more citrus but not overbearing. It is still light like the others. However, not as long-lasting as the original Fantasy or hidden fantasy fragrances. It does smell pretty and nice. it's not my favorite and I think I had high hopes for it but I'm going to be on the hunt for the cherry blossom one but I always keep her bottles to put on my vanity because they are always so cute and adorable!

I like this a lot! Bottle is hideous, truly awful. The juice within is soft, airy, sweet, fluffy, creamy and pretty. Two sprays on my wrist and I was immediately transported to a photo shoot for the cover of a romance novel. A young, pretty woman. Hair loose, sitting on a swing in a bright sunny meadow. A breeze in the air. That breeze is what Sunset Fantasy smells like. Soft sillage, moderate longevity. Sugared juicy fruits & sweet cream.

Private show DNA! This is like private show and fantasy OG beautifully mixed together. Super warm and cozy yet suitable for summer. It's sooo addicting and nostalgic, and the bottle is honestly the most beautiful out of all the fantasy perfumes. I love this fragrance and it's so delicious and comforting. Not suited for those who prefer mature scents, but as a gourmand lover and a lover of juvenile scents, this is amazing!
