Лесная земляника и полевые травы - Wild Strawberry and Herbs

This is the scent of cutting into a ripe strawberry. I love Brocard’s Scents of Nature collection because the fruit scents are the furthest possible thing from a mainstream, synthetic, sugary, perfumey fruit. The Blackcurrant & Mint from the same range is already my favourite blackcurrant scent, and this is definitely my favourite strawberry. Sweet, juicy, summery, ever so slightly creamy (the freesia maybe?). It’s just happy-smelling and gorgeous.

Strawberry scented dolls - a perfectly charming strawberry perfume that is neither too sweet, nor too tart. It’s avoided the trap that strawberry perfumes seem to fall into for me - it’s not screechy or sickly and it doesn’t ever too far into shampoo territory.... but it’s impossible to get in the UK unfortunately so once my sample has gone, that’s it :(

Having tried the Blackcurrant & Mint and Tomato leaf & Blackcurrant fragrances from this collection and loving both I expected more—a little more realism, a little more green freshness, a little more bright strawberry. And although the green notes are there, this one is just a little too sweet, artificial and powdery for my taste. It's not cloying though, and could actually maybe be described as a younger version of VS Pure Seduction. Still a nice fragrance (I gave it to my younger sister and she really likes it), it's just not what I hoped for.
