Черная смородина и мята - Black currant and Mint

Gorgeous crisp fruity/green fragrance. Don't expect any dessert sweetness, this is fresh and tart all the way. A little stronger than the similar Brocard Tomato leaf & Blackcurrant though still not as strong as I'd like but definitely worth it for the price.

A lovely crisp and fruity fragrance! The blackcurrent is sweet and juicy, with the mint adding some freshness to the mixture. Lasts decent, and is absolutely magical, I felt like the scent bubble I was in was a mystical little realm!

This has the vibe of a tart blackcurrant jam. The mint kind of hovers on top lending a little bit of herbal edge to the scent. Not the most complex fragrance ever but a lovely berry that absolutely doesn’t just smell like body wash.

This was such an odd experience! When I first sprayed it I couldn’t really smell anything. Second spritz..... same problem. Meh! I thought - no way I’ll buy this when I’ve got the tomato blackcurrant, because that smells like heaven and this one is rubbish! Then slowly the smell developed and it’s lovely. Subtle for sure. I honestly find the tomato one much more obvious but maybe this one hangs around for longer? Think I might get a bottle if I can, see how I get along with it! Edit! Finally managed to get a bottle and sprayed it in cold weather. What a beauty! To be honest it smells very similar to the Listya Tomata (which was my signature scent for years) because they have so many shared notes and the green leaves here resemble a slightly aromatic tomato leaf. Chernaya is heavier in the blackcurrant and has that zingy minty vibe at first, but in the deep dry down the mint becomes more like a generic herbaceous note and at that point I think they’re almost like flankers of each other!

I ordered this from Bloom Perfumes. The first thing to note about this is that many people associate currant with cat urine. I am very pleased to report that I can not smell any cat urine in this fragrance. I bought this because I grow blackcurrants which were only recently allowed in my state. I believe it is still against the law to grow them in most states because they were a vector for diseases that affected the logging industry. Anyway I grow my black currants and sometimes I eat them raw but they are so incredibly tart that I can’t eat too many that way. I often put them in a pan with sugar and make syrup from them. This fragrance smells so authentic that it really smells like the syrup I make! I would say the only concern I have with this is that I don’t always want to walk around smelling like sweet syrup or jam. But it’s a lovely authentic fragrance that reminds me of my currants.

Very naturalistic black current leaves crumpled in hands and its berries, that feeling when you are in Russian dacha (country house) which we used to have in my early childhood. I notice that not every one loves blackcurrant smell,it's specific one, my mom hates it when I spray myself with Brocard. Tastes differ.

This is very interesting, this entire line is basically a "Russian loccitaine", albeit a bit less complex and not as sophisticated. I think I tried it a while back. Very interesting trend. Hard to find in EU almost impossible.

It smells like "dacha" from my childhood — a naturalistic smell of blackcurrant leaves. I loved to use it at home and spray it on the bed linen. Can't imagine someone wearing it in public.

Glorious blackcurrant perfume! Very natural and beautiful smelling :) Lasts about 3 hours, akin to an edc.
