Modern Classic

Build on a heart of praline and pear, Modern Classic is a fruity gourmand fragrance that uses the distinctive aroma of orange blossom to balance the heavier elements (woods, vanilla and musk). Better excuted than most dep. stores branded vanilla floral and for its price its simply a masterpeice.

It’s a second cousin twice removed from Gucci Rush on me. The established cheap brand with insane bottles,bstocked by Bloom perfumery. I had this and its sister and blind gifted to friends as cheapies, performing well above price point. Russian brand so won’t be purchasing again but in kinder times it was wonderful.

I live in the United States and I purchased this online from Bloom Perfume in the U.K. This is AMAZING and worth having in any collection! I only wish Brocard were available in the States. The pear gives this a perfect amount of sweetness yet the musk base balances this out and and keeps it from being too sweet and cloying. I don’t get the praline by itself but it could just blend really well with the vanilla note. The vanilla in this is subtle but adds a really nice warmth. I wish I could think of another fragrance to use as a point of reference for this but right now I can’t think of anything. This smells nothing like Coco Chanel but the quality is so good that it makes me think of a Chanel fragrance. Like it could be a Chanel fragrance if that makes sense. I see this as being good for someone 30 or older. It’s not an old lady fragrance per se, it’s just I think of really light fresh fragrances for younger women. Anyone could wear this but the musky base makes this heavier. Lasting power is very good, I got about 8 hours. Sillage is strong. A few sprays goes a long way. I really wish more people would try this. It’s simply lovely. I do want to add that I am a jasmine and tuberose lover. This isn’t a fragrance like that but I think if you like stronger floral fragrances with a bit of spice - florientals - that you would probably like this. If you’re someone who likes light citrus Neroli scents, then you may not care for this.

I’ve been thinking about this fragrance and today I realized it reminds me of Miss Dior before the recent reformulation. Very high quality and lasts a long time.
