Sweet Home

I wanted to big up this one because although it's unfortunately hard to find nowadays, it's really stunning. It's gourmand. It smells exactly like a tea I have from Tea People called Cherry Black. My partner and I refer to that loose leaf tea as our 'Cherry Bakewell' tea and this smells EXACTLY like a cup of that fabulous tea! If you know the classic My Kipling cherry Bakewells smell / taste, then just imagine that with a cup of hot black tea.... that's what this perfume smells like. Next to the other perfumes in this Brocard range and Jennifer Lopez Still, this is one of the strongest and most realistic tea notes I've ever smelt in a scent and I think it deserves more love!

This fragrance lands with strongly brewed black tea and heavy sweetness, then melts down to a cozy bergamot, cinnamon, and vanilla. You’ve brought the kids to visit the grandparents for a wintertime weekend trip. It’s late enough in January or February that the Christmas tree is gone, but the Christmas table linens are still in rotation, and there are Christmas-gift candles still left over. The kids were wound up and excited and had too many cookies, but you’ve managed to get them into bed. You come back downstairs and the house is eerily quiet by comparison. There are still some cookie crumbs on the tablecloth, although the dishes have been cleared and the dishwasher is humming. Hanging in the air is the waxy scent of a candle that just went out on its own after burning all evening. The glass container that held it is now mostly empty, but there’s still some wax on the inside around the bottom and a few dribble streaks on the outside. (But, personally, it would make me feel too much like a cozy-smelling candle myself to wear it as a fragrance).

The person talking about the candle is right and on point. It smells like a typical perfumed candle which name is like "cosy evening" or something. If you're french: smells like the inside of a nature et découvertes store.

Im afraid neither of me or my husband likes this, I’m gonna use it for toilet scent.
