Tartufo

Has a reputation for being a dupe of TF's Black Orchid for literal pennies, however I'm going to argue it's not really that straightforward. It's more like TF BO but with every single hint of sweetness removed. Very unisex, carries almost a certain aura of power and intelligence. To me, this is a perfume an ancient library keeper would wear, and the original Black Orchid is something more out of a grim yet reasonable female supervillain's closet. Tartufo appears very dry and woody on me, with cedar and balsamic notes being most prominent at all times. The latter feel almost iodine-y, and the cedar and rosewood are super "refined", like freshly polished floorboards. I thought I noticed something like cinnamon too, which was actually the ginger I guess. Very autumnal scent, this is the rare occasion when I can't imagine this being worn in any other season. Very interesting! I will admit this gets greatly overshadowed by my love for the original Black Orchid, and I prefer a bit of a sweeter base in my woody scents overall. But this little bottle is still worth both the price and fulfilling your curiosity if you know where to find it.

Приобретён по рекомендации из Ютуб. Весьма неплохой аромат: яркий, умеренно цепкий, с хорошим шлейфом

Когда только получила, аромат был про уютный деревяшки, про деревянный домик с камином в хвойном лесу. Но через 2 недели отстаивания превратился в "огуречный рассол"!... В первом случае это было вполне унисекс, но теперь это стало 100%-мужским парфюмом 😭
