The Woods New Level

This perfume deserves more attention. I own a bottle from a while back (2017) and it is one of those easy to wear scents that have more depth and definition than the average designer sprayer. Opens with almost candied orange citrus notes. Nearly evoking something honey orange ginger. Slightly sweet but very warm and comfortable. Gentle, warm spices follow along with a light powdery texture. Hints of warm woods and distant resinous incense merely lift the heart but never really overtake. It's a well told scent. Clear, almost appetising notes. A citrus rich opening that lasts and lingers unlike your average lemon/bergamotte scent. Comfortable through out the day. Lasts long 6+ hours and projects well. Reacts nicely to body heat. Light enough to work on a fresh summer day, warm enough for spring and fall. Maybe winter might not be it's best season. Also has fetched me several compliments. Something I can't say for the weirder scents I like. Blindbuy safe if you like orange citrus, resinous, mild spice notes. I guess if you believe in fragrance gendering this would be masculine/barbershoppy but honestly this goes well with anyone that enjoys comfortable spices.
