If you're not a fan of those coconut or sunscreen-like scents but still want that beachy vibe, Bahia's got your back.

Lovely, creamy, yellow floral scent. Relaxed, casual vibe. Perfect for beach or vacation in a hot and humid climate. Think of Southeastern Asia or Caribbean. It reminds me of a different fragrance I've smelled before. It's a similar *category* of scents as Guerlain Lys Soleia, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess or Tom Ford Orchid Soleil. Likeable. A safe blind buy if you're into creamy, tropical gardenia/tuberose and these kind of scents. Classifying this scent as aquatic or ozonic is a bit misleading in my opinion.

Devastated that this was discontinued. My sample is officially empty RIP. For those looking for something similar, Lotus Pear 7 Virtues is pretty close with the white florals, topped with a juicy pear with the peach, but it is missing the warmth of the base notes of Bahia. Going to try and layer it with a basic vanilla scent to see if it helps recapture more of what I miss.

honestly i'm not usually a white floral fan, but bahia by brown girl jane nailed the white floral for non-white floral lovers! the freshness/aquatic nature of the lotus in combination with the sweet, juicy peach note keeps the intense barrage of white florals (tuberose/jasmine/gardenia) from being too indolic or heady. truly a beautiful scent for warmer weather.

I like this for the warm days and early spring. A fresh summery white floral. Even tho im not fully into most white florals , but this one is an exception due to the vanilla and musk base. If you enjoy Gucci florals you would like this. Also if you like kkw gardenia perfume , or micheal kors, you may like this.

I got a travel size of this fragrance. I actually enjoy white florals in some fragrances, such as the Gucci Bloom line. However, something about this perfume made me feel a bit nauseated. I honestly think it all comes down to taste and preference because the quality of the fragrances in this house are great (this too is a very smooth perfume) , and I love carousel, but this was a miss for me. The gardenia is so strong, and in a heavy way, not airy or light at all. The vanilla is nice but mixed with the heady strength of the gardenia and the soapiness of the water lotus, I just don’t think the fragrance sat pleasant on my skin. However, I like it when it’s layered with something brighter and more fruity, the fragrance blends smoothly and balances out sharper ones.

Opened way more white floral than I expected. It’s smooth and pretty once it settles, but those florals stay the main character. Good longevity, moderate sillage. Not full-bottle worthy for me, but nice layered with warmer vanillas.

My heart is really aching. The most gorgeous and soft peach fragrance I’ve smelled to date. BGJ really pulled this from their website and replaced it with High Tea, which is a copy cat of Prada Paradoxe. Why?? Bahia was so original and out of all the frags I’ve owned and smelled in my lifetime, this doesn’t remind me of anything out there! Truly an original. And now that it might be gone, I can’t refer to the reminds me of section in confidence that I can find a suitable replacement. Thanks trolls. *eye roll*
