Peach Aura

Ive been sampling perfumes for spring/summer and this was part of my haul. TLDR: This might be the diamond peach of the season! I am still testing others but Hear me out ...This is the first time my boyfriend complimented my perfume without asking his opinion...He practically wanted to eat me!!!! #cuddles Okay okay so First spray was an instant yum but then I thought the peach was too juvenile like peach rings so I decided to use it as a car scent or for my office. I was also sampling heavy hitters so i might have been the juxtaposition. I didnt give up on it tho... People said it smelled nice. I also smelled the drydown on the items i was spraying and i was impressed but didnt realize it was peach aura. So I tried again on my skin. I used olay super serum body wash and lotion. I sprayed not a perfume on my hot spots and then oversprayed peach aura. It was indeed a pleasant aura. The peach is just right. Its literally like an aura like a pleasant peach cloud around you. Light airy but still sweet and cozy. The dry down is everything and it last and lingers nicely. If I had to compare this ... I would compare it to Gossip Night, which is much heavier and thick. This is airy like a cloud. I look forward to seeing what it is like during the spring summer time. I really like it for my lifestyle... metropolitan/suburban vibes where you can dress causal cute, girly, or a white tee without smelling super floral, citrusy, or like a luxury beach vacation. A win for BlackGirl Jane! Ive been curious This is my first and I look forward to supporting this company Update: I always get compliments when I wear this. Had it for several months now as I write this in July. This one will be around for a while.

I’m glad they reset the the “reminds me of” section. I too witnessed everything that Caitrun mentioned in her comment a couple of weeks ago, which made me want to buy and support this brand. I wasn’t planning on buying this particular peach perfume, but I’m glad that I did. I really ended up loving it. I was afraid that the blood orange and Bellini note together would create that mixture that tends to bother me in other fragrances, but it doesn’t at all. It’s a beautiful fragrance that takes you on a journey. It’s like a peach butterscotch pudding, but you have to go through a fruity-floral journey first. After it dries down is when you get that peachy parfait pudding. I’m a gourmand girl, so I’ve been looking for yummy peach scents. There’s also something nostalgic about this fragrance. It reminds me of something from my childhood, but I can’t put my finger on it. I also want to add it’s one of those fragrances that has that “peekaboo lasting power,” in other words, you might think you can no longer smell it, but then you will randomly get a whiff. I wasn’t sure about how long it would last in the beginning, but even 8 hours later I got random whiffs. All in all, I love it and it was a great choice.

Ok, first off. I hate that there are so many trolls on Fragrantica bc I think the majority of us genuinely use it for analysis purposes 😖 Secondly...This is just my first impression so take my review with a grain of salt, but I love this perfume from BGJ! It’s the first one I’ve tried and it definitely makes me curious to try more from the house. It’s very sweet, but not overly saccharine & cloying (Think Pink Sugar) I think because of how much the butterscotch pulls through on my skin, it makes it a bit difficult to detect that this is a peach fragrance. Maybe more akin to a canned peach in some light syrup? Definitely not a freshly picked peach. The bellini & musk notes within Peach Aura are quite faint, but they offer a bit of an effervescent and bright quality to the scent to prevent it from becoming overly sticky and syrupy. This reminds me a LOT of Eclair Banoffi from Lattafa, but this is superior due to it being a bit better “blended” However, if you’re on a tighter budget, I would definitely test out Lattafa’s

I have been looking for a more realistic peach perfume for a while and I absolutely LOVE this. Idk why people keep brining up peach rings. I know I make things smell more spiced so maybe thats why. But on me this smells almost like when you bake fresh peaches in brown sugar and orange juice and zest. I make a dessert thats similar. Despite that it isn't too gourmand. Its very balanced. The orange keeps it fresh and the vanilla and musk keep it grounded. I was worried about the butterscotch before but it really gives brown sugar instead of butterscotch candies. It projects well I would say you can smell me within 3-5 feet. It last for hours. I actually paid attention last time and I woke up smelling like it (at least 14 hours of wear). I got the travel size and I wish I just bought the full size cause I genuinely feel like I could finish a full size bottle by the end of the summer.

Can you imagine the level of loser one would have to be to take out the time to rig the votes on the different categories for this fragrance? Someone is obsessed. Wow, can’t relate. Anyway....I just purchased this and can’t wait to try it! Edit: So mine just arrived and I absolutely love it! The opening has a strong white floral note that smells like jasmine sambac to my nose, but this doesn’t have any jasmine so I wonder if this was just due to temperature flux in transit. The sambac-esque note quickly dissipates into the background and blends into the peach . The base is a creamy sandalwood and the peach is more warm than fresh and juicy, and yet this works as a summer scent. This honestly could work all seasons, but I can see myself mostly wearing this summer nights, and autumn and spring days. The more I smell it, the more I love it!

Aww I wish the juicy peach from the first spray lasted more than 30m to create that Aura namesake. It gets warm-sweet as the peach fades. Got 6 solid hours before I had a shower to hop into; I even had a faint trace after 2 lathers, def doesn’t support the weak sillage and longevity claims about Brown Girl Jane scents. Also, overlapping the Squishmallow Whisked Away peachiness and complementary notes in so many ways, I’m fighting myself not to own both. I mean this in the best way...a sweet jarred baby food on the settle (about 1-2hours in). Like babies sweet breath after having some milk and purée food :) the lactonic aspect boost this emotion. I can’t see not having this around so I’m caving ;)

Okay so this one makes up for BGJ discontinuing Dusk . This . Is . AMAZING !! (I still need them to bring back Dusk.. def not off the hook) . The opening is so juicyyyy . Not overly sweet & girly but balanced , mature & juicccyyyy . Then it calms down to a beautifully light yet decadent aroma . I had two ppl ask me what is was & I felt the instinct to keep it hush ... but I gave it up .. hopefully they don't remember what I said . 🫠 The base ? Man , by the end of the day , I want to nestle into my own neck ! 😫 But I can't !

Definitely getting a fullsize, what a cute and sexy fragrance! The peach in the opening is divine, and while it doesn't stick around for that much longer, it's still a very yummy and sensual fragrance! I imagine once paired with a peach body oil you can get more longevity and keep that delicious peach fruity gourmand profile throughout your wear. It helps that the sillage and performance is pretty good. This was my first experience with this brand and now I need to try the others. As a peach collector-- well done!

BGJ scents haven't always worked for me, but this one was instant love. Juicy peach and citrus opening, then the butterscotch really comes through. After a few hours the peach fades and it reminds me of Phlur's Vanilla Skin, but just enough butterscotch remains to make it unique and totally delicious. If gourmande fragrances are your thing, definitely give this one a sniff. Probably too sweet and thick for me to wear in the hot summer months, but I'd wear it in any other season.

Seriously, so disappointed by the number of racist people trolling on this site. This is supposed to be a community sharing a passion for fragrance, not a racist cesspool. If you aren't sure what I mean, look at all the "reminds me of" perfume suggestions above. They all have to do with black or brown, not because a peach perfume smells like anything listed, but because Brown Girl Jane is a black-owned company. This is disheartening. We aren't all like this.

My goodness this is sooooo good. Fruity smooth peach, not too sweet but juicy and velvety with a touch of brightness in the background. Absolutely gorgeous for all seasons I’d say. I sprayed it on a cooler day here in TX high of 57 and it performed so well. The sillage and projection is very good, a few hours in and the scent gets creamier but still going strong.

This is one of, if not the best peach of this summer (2026)! Juicy & sweet without being artificial or plastic. On the dry down the peach fades softly into a decadent, creamy & sweet vanilla musk. I blind bought it based on the notes & several reviews, and I was absolutely not disappointed. Gorgeous.

i grabbed a travel size if this and i absolutely LOVE it !! i like sweet candied peaches, over fresh and juicy ones and the butterscotch makes this creamy and delicious. i’ve been layering this with skinpotions besame mucho body oil and i’m obsesseddddd!! i might need to get a full bottle of this

This creamy,peachy, caramely juice is delicious! Definitely not my normal freshie vibe but I love it for a date night. Yum! It's not cloying but if you are looking for a bright sparkly peach, this one isn't for you. I call it slutty, but in a good way :) . I wear this if I want to be noticed .

I really love this fragrance. I think its a great everyday summer scent . The peach is very fresh and juicy . Somewhere between an actual peach and a peach candy. I do go nose blond to it sometimes but I still like if.

On clothes the peach and blood orange shine. On skin the butterscotch comes out. It’s really good, I applied this at 5 PM and can still smell it now at 3 AM

I got a compliment while wearing this today. I love it so much. It's the peach I've been searching for.

FINALLY. SHE IS EVERYTHING I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. WOW.

Currently testing out my travel size that just arrived. The initial burst is peach and blood orange. It’s very juicy and fresh. The butterscotch is not far behind along with the Bellini. It’s very pretty and fun. The musk and vanilla seem to be the base of this. It’s cute, flirty and fun. Ultimately gives me a bright and fresh Bellini drink vibe. That same smell when you take the first sip. As it dries down I get a little more vanilla and I can almost feel the warm peach fuzz. I can also pic up on the magnolia, but it’s very well blended and not intense. It reminds me alot of Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal. Between the two I think this lighter in scent and wear. Better suited for the summer IMO. She’s sweet and fun. After about 30 minutes, the deep dry down is a soft, skin, fruity floral vanilla scent. I think this will wear well in the summer time with the heat for those that like soft skin scents...after another 15 minutes I smell a sweet smokiness. Maybe the musk and vanilla? Pass.

I love BGJ and have numerous of their fragrances in my collection. I noticed they have been on a gourmand kick lately so I expected this to be more gourmand forward. It missed the mark for me and was underwhelming, It’s just ok, and not what I was expecting given how it was advertised. It’s a fresh floral peach with a touch of citrus that will be great for spring/ summer wear. The cream and sandalwood adds a subtle creaminess and touch of sweetness, the champagne keeps it light and airy. Unfortunately the yummy gourmand notes aren’t specifically detectable they just add to the overall composition of the fragrance and the peach is on the subtle side. I was hoping for a more peach forward warm, juicy, sweet, scent with a hint of spice, the butterscotch cream, vanilla, and sandalwood. I have a large collection with numerous peach scents so I didn’t feel the need to keep this one. If you are new to fragrances or do not have a peach scent in your collection, this is a wearable, easy reach. **PSA BGJ if you are reading this bring back Dusk I beg of you!! Why have something in your discover set that has been discontinued!! QTNA

like this but i've figured out that sticky sweet gourmands are just not my thing :( this would smell good on someone else in passing. the peach is a syrupy, yellow peach in those fruit cups (rather than a crisp white peach or nectarine) and a caramelly background. it is very loud but it is nice. i think i just needed something more fresh in there to cut through all that syrupy-ness

it's not a bad perfume per se. on test sprays on paper, you really smell the peach and citric notes, but on my skin, it's all butterscotch and very sickeningly sweet. maybe a hint of the bourbon. so while it's not bad, it's definitely not for me, which is a shame because i did really want to like this one.

A very realistic peach ring candy with a soft butterscoth note. It doesn’t evolve much beyond that, which makes it quite juvenile. I’m shocked a brand of this calibre would even make it, since it is more in line with Bath and Body Works, so I don’t recommend

Unfortunately, the butterscotch note kills this fragrance for me. I’ve been searching for a good fresh peach fragrance and bc I LOVE BGJ Carnivale, I had high hopes! I’ve sprayed it several times, trying to convince myself I like it but I just don’t. On clothing I don’t smell the butterscotch but on skin it’s overwhelming🥲

I got the bellini and peach cobbler vibes on tester paper; but on my skin, it's heavy butterscotch – just too suffocatingly sweet for me. Gourmands are popular, so I'm sure this will have no shortage of fans.

Extremely cloying in my opinion. I was so excited for this but the overload of citrus plus butterscotch do no favors to the composition. Still in a forever search of my perfect 🍑

This was so yuck. I love peach scents so I blind bought a sample. Not what i was expecting....listed as a fresh juicy peach but not for me. I could smell peach for 2 seconds before it became a super beast generic dive bar vanilla i'd never wear. In reality its sugary bugspray. Not safe for a blind buy for peach fans. Tried to scrub it off but its strong, lasts for 24 hours .the sweet sythentic notes just drown it and make it totally unwearable for me. I kept hoping it would macerate and simmer and improve..Not on my skin its a hard-core vanilla that just fights my nose like tiny punching butterscotch gremlin.

Love BGJ but I hate this, unfortunately. I can’t handle the peach in it, it gives cloying and artificial vibes unfortunately

This is more boozy and shampoo-y than I anticipated. It's like drinking a bellini while you wash your hair. The sandalwood is fairly strong, so if you prefer not to smell sandalwood in your gourmands, I'd try before you buy. For a more realistic sweet peach, try Peach Macaron by Theodoros Kalotinis or First Peach of the Season by Imaginary Authors.

Caitrun, wow, you’re right. Disheartening, but I suspect it’s the same person (or just very few) who are the same person/people who ALWAYS vote “hate” on every new perfume that comes up. As you notice, it already has six votes for “hate”. I really wish they would ban these people!!

I was trying to figure out what this reminds me of and I got it! The dry down (not as much the opening) smells a lot like Leisure in Paradise to me. Same fruity and creamy vibe. Pretty, but I dont think I would need both. Also I havent had great longevity with this one.

I love sweet perfumes but this is a cloying, syrupy peach. It’s like you put canned peach syrup with brown sugar on you. I love most brown girl Jane perfumes but not this one. I much prefer the new kayali peach - this one is just too dense and cloying
