Leau

This is one of the best aquatic perfumes no one talks about. This is an “if u know, u know” type of scent from an “if u know, u know” brand for people who want to smell effortlessly modern and fresh. The drydown on my skin is like wearing rain. It feels watery, and on hot days, L’eau is the epitome of refreshing. This is such an innovative scent that utilizes carrot like it was a fruit. It lends to a juicy pear in the drydown that never gets overly sweet. This carrot/ pear/ ambroxan combo is a highlight for me and demonstrates that fruity scents don’t have to rely on sugar to be compelling. It is the perfect summer work scent for men or women. It will never feel loud and doesn’t feel like a projection monster but it’s the type of scent that doesn’t need to be noisy. It’s the type of scent u discover on someone when near them. It feels both modern, and sophisticated but can easily be dressed down also. The performance is about 4-5 hours on me which is perfect for this type of scent and it’s worth adding to a 2ml sprayer for reapplying when necessary. Brume Orpin’s twist off atomizers makes decanting a breeze also. If u love musky scents but have gotten bored of the options on the market currently, this may be your new found love. It’s a beautiful experience. If I had to rate this perfume using my PAGE rating system, P-poor, A-average, G-good, E-exceptional...I would rate this a G. It’s not far from an exceptional perfume just based on my experiences when wearing it. I can’t explain why but this fragrance makes me happy to wear. E or Exceptional scents are titans in their genre to me and this is not far from that benchmark imo. If u want a “second skin” type of scent that is modern, innovative and not on everyone’s lips, I think u must try this hidden gem.

A discovery worth it. I wanted to try it because I love Lys Sølaberg Maison Crivelli, it also has fruitiness & carrot seeds, While this one opens up fresh it settles down to powdery and fresh. It's intense & long lasting.
