Brezza Gentile

You’d be hard pressed to find anyone that won’t think that this smells great. It is VERY similar to the original Pour Homme from 2 years ago... Only, much better. This is a more refined version that is not ruined by the overdose of Ambroxan that the Pour Homme has. How cypress is not listed in the notes is incredible. It’s still an Aventus knock-off, but a far more complex and refined interpretation than that cheap fragrance. Lastly: Really pleasant scent, horribly ugly presentation (bottle).

Another great release by BC. Although, not unique or bold, it's very well blended and a very pleasant scent. The mid and dry down are sublime! There is a particular note that is capturing, maybe the patchouli. Very versatile and safe. Ideal as an office or causual scent for a mature gentleman. If this was more reasonably priced then I would recommend it. Moreover, this should be sampled first, as a blind buy might not live up to expectation based on the price. It is an addictive quiet scent. Lasts quite a long time on me. Tried it in store and was already in love with it. Given the price I was hesitant to buy it at first but I kept thinking about it and finally decided to go back and buy the full bottle. Now it is my signature go to scent!

This one is the most classy of the new line. Similar to Pour Homme though more leathery/peppery.

Got a sample of this at the store. It's extremely pleasant (even slightly addictive) - though, patchouli for me always reminds of those scent diffusers or perfumed spaces, less like a human fragrance. At best it smells like a scented shampoo. The bitter orange helps make it a bit more interesting and less generic, but it is too faint for me. I don't sense ambroxan at all. Because it's so simple and generic and "room-like", it's also very unisex - and makes no statement really other than "minty fresh clean and breezy". It has linearity that I wouldn't look for in a pricey fragrance. Finally, in terms of performance this feels very weak to me - with virtually non-existent projection. If it had x10 times the projection and the roles of the orange and the patchouli were reversed, it would have been interesting to me. As it is - this is more like how I'd want my living room to smell like, not how I would like to smell like myself. Overall, wouldn't mind being sprayed by this, but I don't see myself making a purchase.

Absolument aucune complexité certes, mais une délicieuse fragrance véritablement, avec une performance/sillage/portée satisfaisante, et une tenue/endurance/durabilité impressionnante, plus de 15 heures avec 4 ou 5 vaporisation seulement, et en hiver en plus alors que ce parfum est plutôt automne printemps été et de jour. Grand parfum.

Tête : Orange Amère. Cœur : Patchouli Fond: Ambroxan. Un parfum Unisexe simple. Frais aux accords d'agrume. Printemps été, plutôt de jour.

the best cucinelli scent... smells like something my mother would love on my father

When I first read the notes for Brezza Gentile by Brunello Cucinelli—bitter orange with ambroxan—I hoped it might be in the same vein as Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton. I view the Brunello fragrance line as somewhat comparable to Louis Vuitton's premium designer fragrances. However, this scent is not the bright, aquatic freshness of Afternoon Swim. Instead, it leans more into a woody freshness. The best way to describe it is as a woody variation of Pour Homme, but with a prominent patchouli note. The opening is reminiscent of Pour Homme, but the patchouli is equally present, giving it a richer feel. As it dries down, the patchouli blends seamlessly with a woody base of elemi and Clearwood, and the scent evolves to resemble Pour Homme even more. That said, the addition of ambroxan gives it slightly more projection and longevity, becoming more noticeable about an hour into wear. I’ve enjoyed Pour Homme by Brunello Cucinelli—I’m nearly through my bottle and was considering repurchasing it. But Brezza Gentile feels so similar to Pour Homme that owning both might be redundant. If I had to choose between the two, though, I’d lean toward Brezza Gentile for its woody depth and added complexity. Overall, while Brezza Gentile is a beautiful fragrance, it might be disappointing if you're already content with Pour Homme and not looking for something new. In terms of gender, this fragrance feels unisex—it’s not overtly masculine or feminine. That said, I personally feel it leans slightly masculine, and I wouldn’t want my wife to wear it.

Worn it a few times and re visited it today. The first few times I thought it was decent but today something changed ... I don't like it. The Clearwood is more prominent than any "patchouli" here. The patchouli only make an appearance for opening then it's all Ambroxan and Clearwood to a nauseating level. I'd place this in the same camp as Tuxedo ,patchouli gone wrong

OMG OMG OMG WANT IT WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW Why so dramatic? I am in love with Prada L'eau Ambree which was discontinued 15 if not more years ago. And this smells just like it!!! Gosh I have been searching for years for this perfect citrus amber patchouli dna. The closest I got is Ormonde Jayne Ambre Royale. But this! In fact, it smells like Prada mixed with a drop of another discontinued gem - Dior Midnight Poison. OMG I gotta have this.

really well constructed citrus-patchouli which leans mature but not excessively, smells friendly and approachable. starts peppery then gets much more mellow and cosy as it settles down. shares DNA with the original pour homme/femme, doesn't excite me that much but the quality is undeniable.

to my nose this is suspiciously similar to the original Brunello Cucinelli Pour Homme. This does have some added depth, richness, and warmth which I really appreciate. As a result this also has much better performance compared to the OG.

like pour homme you could wear this every day and people would think you were smart, successful and had great taste, price is in line with other fragrances.
