Brunello Cucinelli Pour Femme

Imagine the roasted, buttery scent of chestnuts or the mellow elegance of almonds, adding a velvety layer to the grassy freshness of the vetiver and emerging spa-like cedar. It feels almost touchable, as though you could reach out and wrap around the freshness around yourself as a cashmere shawl. Now even as the scent dries down, while it softens, it retains its earthy clarity, now with a hint of woody creaminess. Possibly a sandalwood or a musk accord lurking in the base, dosed with the perfect amount of ambery ambroxan. What sets this fragrance apart is how the nutty undertones persist throughout, rejuvenated always by the unbelievably sprightly juice overtones, blending seamlessly with the gentle but stable wooden foundation. An absolutely lovely, decidedly feminine leaning, (to my nose) fragrance. In keeping with BC's philosophy, it is low key, close to the body, and a bit otherworldly in its subtlety. Would commenters who complain about the subtle sillage actually expect BC to do an in your face fragrance? Images that come to mind are those from the 1997, Fall '08, and Fall 2014 ad campaigns-relaxed, bucolic gatherings of the uber-wealthy, with the Pipers that flew in for the afternoon parked on a small runway just out of camera range. I LOVE the unusual chestnut accord, not spicy, not green, slightly gourmand, but not really. Dry. A bit nutty. Quite linear. This is not a floral in any way. I've never smelled anything quite like this fragrance. Avoid over-spraying. It's unnecessary and a bit cloying. Another commenter mentioned that this is just a profit grab by the house. While it does allow room for "aspirationals" to finally jump on the Cucinelli train, it isn't any more aspirational market seeking than the fragrance offerings of any other major fashion house. To its credit, the EDP comes in three sizes (USD)1 oz., ($105), 1.7 oz. ($150), and 3.4 oz., ($210). Not bad, price wise. It lasts a good 8-10 hours on me. I think it's appropriate for all seasons.

It’s a love. Got the large bottle. Definitely elegant, like cashmere, or an alpaca coat. Sandalwood blends into a creamy, musky dry down, but that unusual touch of chestnut, and a gorgeous, fine vetiver, really set it apart from the ubiquitous cashmeran/musc cozy frags. A warm ‘feeling’ or a ‘memory’ quality envelops me when I wear it, which remind me of my mother’s warm embrace of childhood. Very cozy and comforting. No sweetness. Perfect casual fragrance for any woman (or man) at ease with themselves. Not flashy or ostentatious. No citrus comes through on me. The vetiver is soft and well rounded to ground it and give it a slightly 'natural' vibe. It does vibe of the Max Mara, which was a great scent.

This is a lovely citrus woody fragrance, elegant and refined, but bright and positive at the same time. It leans towards feminine side and actually I wouldn't be happy to smell it on a man. I do not see any problem with this one, really. It's long lasting, on me it lasts at least twelve hours and the dry down is excellent soft vetiver, I just love it. The fragrance is definitely very wearable on daily basis, it's good for work as well as for a date, it smells effortlessly cool, which is definitely a desirable impression to make any time. In fact, I think this is the best fragrance I have smelled lately and I'll be happy to add it to my collection.

This is exactly what I would’ve expected from a brand like Brunello Cucinelli. This is the epitome of quiet luxury. Pour Femme is a bright, yet creamy sophisticated scent that I find myself reaching for on a regular basis. At first I thought it reminded me of Hermes Eau Delicate (which I love), but while that stays bright, Pour Femme has a warmth to it that makes it cozy. It sits close to the skin, but it stays with me most of the day. I can’t wait to see how this performs in the warm weather. I bought a small 1 oz bottle directly from BC and see that they now offer a 1.7oz which I will probably pick up when I’ve finished the one I currently have.

GORGEOUS. But, may take quiet elegance, minimalism to a bit too far. It's quiet. Performance and longevity have absolutely improved with age / time. But, it is still quiet. Edit: This really is the definition of quiet, refined luxury. Someone at BC, please address the performance issues. Something this BEAUTIFUL shouldn't be ignored. EDIT #2: The performance has improved with this perfume since getting it. Still have to overspray, so if the company improved the performance without changing the scent profile/balance, I wouldn't be mad. I still love the scent!

She's giving fluffy airy orange blossom princess strolling through her orange tree orchard ready to harvest her juicy fruit. Beautiful, feminine, and clean. On skin she pulls as a delicate skin flower citrusy scent. She's lovely. P.S. She smells also like a more sweeter and muskier version of L'Eau Privée of Coco M. by Chanel. Love both, BC Pour Femme performs better. Edit: Performs really really well!

I can still smell it on a blotter two days later. It is painfully well bred. I am not nearly glossy n emaciated enough to wear this. Translucent fresh spicy citrusy floral, it could almost be Y2K, early 00s but for the slightly nutty synthetic lean. Your best dumb reach that will take you anywhere. Great bottle design nice finish. I just read the review underneath. It's perfect.

A beautifully designed fragrance. The immediate blast of pepper and citrus is not too masculine despite the notes. There is a sweetness that rises over time, and it sits with the vetiver nicely. The sillage is weak, and the performance works better with layering. Despite it's short performance, this is a beautifully designed fragrance worth the price, and worth the experience.

I received a sample from Neiman Marcus. I loved it at first spritz! I find it to be a cool weather scent, but I'll wear it in hot weather. I love the woody dry down notes. The citrusy notes peek through all of the time too. I like this so much that I've already purchased a full-size bottle. It will be an easy reach for frequent use.

Purchased a week ago and worn 3 times. This is much better than Bergomot 22. They are indeed similar but this one is better constructed and has more depth. There is nothing inoffensive here. Very office friendly. I usually love more complex scents but when I just want to smell pleasant, this will work perfectly.

Very soft, ethereal, and subtle citrus woody. Neroli in the drydown. Natural. Very classy. Between like and love but closer to love. A bit generic? Doesn't have a strong personality, more of a subdued elegant daily wear. Unisex. Scent: 7.8 / Sillage: 4 / Longevity: 6

I find it beautiful, very classy and feminine. I own the small bottle and it reminds me of Max Mara Cashmere Touch paired with Escentric 01 (at least the opening). But, unfortunately, it has zero staying power: it dissapears within 40-50 minutes. What a pitty!

rating: ✽✽✽✽ The loveliest one out of the two. Bears the resemblance of other perfumes by Daphne: the airy sweetness of Rose 31, and the warm, soft radiance of Bergamote 22. Performance isn't great, but it's quite a charmer while it lasts.

Earthy warm musk smell, definitley a "your skin but better" scent but what really made it stick out to me was the woodiness of the musk, making it unique from something similar like You by Glossier. My favorite in this category so far!

This is fantastic! It is very fresh and summery, but unlike many other in the genre it oozes of refinement and exclusivity. Bought a full bottle for my daughter.

A beautiful scent ... so subtle and elegant. Downside in my case, disappears in matter of minutes. I thought this was something of an urban legend, that perfume would vanish like that... never have I ever had experience like that (and I use Jo Malone 🤣) You spray it and it’s gone by the time you set bottle aside. I have tested it in different stores for months now, I finally decided it was not worth it. And sadly so as initially it smells like a dream 😢

Really enjoying this so far. It's a multifaceted fragrance. Opens bright and citric but transforms into a waxy floral woody scent within minutes. Brunello Pour Femme is a balancing act between citrus,white floral and woods. I like this better than Brunello Pour Home and this perfectly unisex.

This is different for me, but I like it! It's perfect for Spring and Summer. At first it reminded me of Wood Sage and Sea Salt. Definitely along the lines of that but I would say, sweeter! :)

Pretty clean citrus with lots of radiant musk. I think it’s very elegant and modern. Quite molecular but in a nice way. It reminds me of some niche fragrance like Valaya PdM and some others.

I got gifted a sample as a “new in” brand at Meyer’s. The opening didn't wow me, clean citrus cologne blast but dry down is beautiful. Kind of creamy keeping the brightness. Very similar but better than others in the market.

The initial spray is lovely, bright, refined, and distinct. The smell of impeccable taste and effortless sophistication. I loved it at first spray. Thankfully, the rep gave me a sample to test on my skin. I've never had a fragrance turn so bad on my skin as this did. The initial burst of loveliness dried down to a harsh, metallic, chemically scent that made me nauseous. I hope that this is just one of those weird things and that most people enjoy the fragrance from beginning to end, because there really is something special about the first spray, but for me, it's a scrubber, a mood shifter, and a stomachache. Must test on skin for at least 30 minutes before buying!

Both the men's and women's fragrances are just underwhelming on a multitude of levels. Sure, it's classic in the sense of its simplicity, but there's better scents that are similar for less that actually last on your skin. This disappears as quick as you smell it's development. After an hour, its gone. Smell it for the sake of saying you tried it if you're curious, but don't be a sucker to spend your money on this.

Very much reminds me of the Prada Mandarine scent from a few years back. This one is delicately balanced between the citrus, floral, musky & woody elements. Gorgeous smelling perfume that fans of the perfumer Daphne Bugey (Rose 31, Bergamote 22 et al) will appreciate. Refreshing citrus off the top with a touch of spice yet cosy from the floral/musky undertones. There's even a chestnut note which is perfectly blended and adds to the slight woody touch. A refined smell that puts a smile on your face & one of the best new releases of the year. Could easily be unisex despite being marketed to women. Downside is the price & performance being on the soft side. For fans of pretty smells it comes highly recommended!

A beautiful fragrance. I blind bought this based on the notes listed, and have no regrets. It’s fresh, but somehow soothing and comforting. The citrusy notes are enveloped in a sweet nectar, and the woody notes are ever so slight, adding a perfect amount of gentle sophistication. It sits close to the skin, but can be detected far enough in an intimate setting. A few hours later, it becomes a skin scent with a refined softness. If I didn’t know it was BC, I wouldn’t think it to be from a “quiet luxury” fragrance category, but nonetheless, it does posses an elegant allure, and I see my self wearing this quite a bit.

I just blind bought this and sprayed it. To me it’s like a sterilized version of Bal d'afrique. Like Bal d'afrique would be the gregarious, party girl Leo in the family and this is her austere Virgo sister who studied pre-med but ending up marrying rich. She just finished up her fifth Pilates class this week and is at the farmer’s market wearing an understated ten thousand dollar outfit, in her slick back pony and ballet flats. It’s a chic scent, maybe a bit boring, but clean and still’ optimistic. *Dry down is very similar to Prada Infusion d’Iris except add wood.

I saw the two bottles at Saks and since I was completely ignored, I didn't know which was femme vs homme. I assumed the fluted version was the ladies (wrong) so I sprayed this one. Its extremely beautiful, and apart from some points where the white florals take center, Probably (maybe) unisex. Gorgeous if subtle drydown. Theres no iris but somehow it reminds me of the Prada Infusion d'Iris pour homme. I went back and someone finally asked if I needed help and clarified which was 'men's' - I sprayed it on my handkerchief and will test that later.

This is a nice scent; nutty and musky. The dry down is so familiar - it’s taking me back to high school with a drugstore perfume called Vanilla Fields. This is elevated and tailored for a more sophisticated woman but the similarity is undeniable. This would smell nice whilst wearing cashmere. It’s a crisp fall weather scent that would smell lovely in the rain or warm sun. The more I wear it the more I enjoy it. This isn’t complicated. It’s simple but elevated. You’ll get a soft classical scent. This is a European in the West Village.

First time I smelled this in the department store I said ring it up This one is hard to describe. It comes off as a fresh and clean smell you can smell the chestnut and veviter On a fresh woody, they said almost has a texture not too sweet not too masculine not citrus fresh original not loud. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this classy, clean zingy texture

This is so elegant, sophisticated and put together. Very much in the brands image. I found it doesn't last much, unfortunately, but I did spray it in a perfume hall, during busy time and possibly mixed with other scents on my skin so I do need to come back to it at some other time. If it was to last at least moderately long, aahhh that would be a dream!

For me, this is something like Prada Infusion d'Iris and Diptyque l'Eau Papier coming together. Salt&pepper gourmand, yet musky and clean skin scent with some powdery florals in the background. At least on paper. On my skin it faded away quickly, but I will definitely try it again, and on clothes too. Interesting.

This is beautiful. Clean and elegant yet somehow warm and comforting. It does have poor longevity but I find that it stays much longer on fabric more than on the skin. The sillage is intimate: it's close to the skin but I don't mind as I get to smell it myself and be happy :)
