Soffio Zenit

Mediterranean luxury, directed by the doctor of style. As someone who deeply loves fashion and truly respects the vision and legacy of the man who transformed the medieval village of Solomeo in Umbria, near my birthplace into the headquarters of a fashion empire built on the unique idea of humanistic capitalism, my expectations were naturally high. So when I discovered that Brunello Cucinelli had launched a fragrance line, I was intrigued and yes, I expected a lot. Soffio Zenit is a futuristic fig, crafted with the same elegance, sophistication, and effortless ease as a signature cashmere sweater from the brand. Comfortable, luxurious, and timeless, true quiet luxury in olfactory form. The fig is beautifully balanced with lavender and rosemary, while the base is anchored by warm labdanum, adding depth and richness. This gives the fragrance noticeably more substance than Fico di Amalfi by Acqua di Parma, another Italian fig-centric scent, yet it remains lighter and airier than Le Labo Thé Noir 29, which leans darker and denser. Once it reaches the dry-down, the scent becomes linear, nothing dramatically new unfolds, but it stays remarkably fresh. In this case, that is not a flaw. The fragrance never feels boring. On the contrary, it reminds me once again of the finest cashmere knit: how could something so relaxed, so comfortable, and so refined ever be dull? I can easily imagine Brunello Cucinelli’s tailoring atelier smelling exactly like this. A complete and perfectly measured composition, nothing added, nothing missing. 10/10.

when I first tried this, the first thing that came to my mind was "wow, this really capture what meditterania/italy is", fresh lavender, fig & rosemary is the dominant note to my nose. As time passes the rosemary note gets even stronger. The fig in the opening reminds me a bit to gris charnel, but more aromatics, then it goes to a different direction, this goes to more of a fougere aromatics direction to my nose. Performance is okay, I got whiffs of the scent during my wear, it last around 6-7 hours on my skin. I imagine it will blend better the more I use it.

Scent profile is okay, safe and easy. But I swear to god, this is the best sprayer I had ever experienced, the finest and most satisfying experience of spraying perfume. All those niche house and high-end collections really need to take notes.

Herbal and aromatic, smells a lot like Saltworks perfume Figaro, or a few others from their fresh collection. Not worth the price.
